Since the barbecue 10 years ago, I always try to ask my parents about Dab. Or just the other family in general. My mother told me that their called the Howlter family. But my dad won't even acknowledge their existence. It makes me think something happened.
"Evan!" My mom shouted from the living room
"Coming Mom!" I replied as I ran down the stairs
"Okay, there is something I've been meaning to tell you." She began "you are 14 now and I don't think I can teach you more at home. I'm sending you to a public school."
She can't be serious. I've been home schooled my whole life! What if I won't be able to make friends, what if all the kids hate me? ...what if I see dab?
All of these thoughts were crowded my head. Making it feel as if it were to explode.
"You start Monday. I will come with you for your first day don't worry a bit."
And with that I ran back up the stairs. This can't be happening. Oh god I don't want to think about the possibilities of everything going wrong. I hope I'll get through this Monday.
