You skipped down the hallway, hoping to glance at your crush at the Music room. And as usual, a certain male was sitting in the middle of the room, a guitar on his hands, and his back was facing towards the door. He doesn't even know nor noticed your presence. Yet, you didn't mind. You just wanted to listen to his soft strumming,
His melody. His presence. His soft, toned voice. Everything was perfect for you because of him. The one and only (Crush's name) in your life. He gave meaning to your life, well, he did not really do anything, but you did. You practiced every once in a while to prefect your voice, looks, and everything. Just to make him notice you.
But you managed to sing, joining the melody of your crush when he's playing. Only for his face to snap towards you,
"Hey," He started. Placing the guitar by the side of his chair.
You started to panic, the male you've liken for a few days was walking towards you. His eyes were affixed to your pair, his bangs was jolting up and down by his body movement. You couldn't run, you couldn't speak. You were frozen in place.
"Were you the uhh," He started looking left and right from the hallway, "The one who sang?"
"W-What will you do if I did?" You managed to snap back, and you eventually regretted that.
"Hahah! Well I would like to see you try." He winked, sending heat towards your cheeks, "(Crush's full name)."
"(First name) (Last name)." You brushed your hand to his soft, large hand.
"Why don't we start? I can't wait to hear your 'beautiful' sound." (Crush's name) teased, making you puff your cheeks.
Even if he just met you, he treats you like a friend, it made you smile, for a bit.
"Uhhhh? W-Why are you smiling like that?"
"Nothing!" You blushed in embarrassment.
You took a deep breath, and started to sang in a gentle, highly expressive croon. (Crush's name) narrowed his eyes towards your singing figure, his face reflected with surprise and amusement. He didn't know someone could sang this...good.
"Stop staring, it's a bit a-annoying." Your voice quavered for a bit, and (Crush's name) then averted his gaze.
"Can't help it. You amuse me." He smirked,
"Shut up."
"You know, we just met, and it seems we're already close, (First name)." He subconsciously said, making your cheeks flushed beet red. "It has been a while since I last heard someone sang in front of me. Those good ol' days went missing for years in a flash."
(Crush's name) tone went nostalgic, a wistful smile was spread across his lips, and his eyes seems too vague for your to identify what's he's feeling. But it was quite of obvious. He's in pain.
"Hey, (Crush's name), it doesn't really matter if we just met or something. But stay in the present, reviewing the past only pains the heart," You grinned. Ruffling his hair through your fingers.
"Thanks." He flashed a smile.
On the way home; You couldn't believe everything what happened. You 'accidentally' sang your heart out, (Crush's name) noticed you, accepted your friendship, and you held his hand and hair.
"I'll never wash my hands again..."

You were currently at the library, reading problems about Math to be able to catch up with the current lesson that you slept in. Not until someone snatches the book out of your hands, "Hey! Who the hell did that?!" You growled.
"Hm? Math? What a loser. What are you, a nerd?" Narrowing your eyes to the person who did that, you shook your head only to know it was (Rival's name).
"I'm a mere human, don't compare me to you." You knew she was (Crush's name) ex, and they broke up for some reason. The gossips never really 'knew' that.
"I'll get to the point. Why are you with (Crush's name)?"
"Does the ex of (Crush's name) have any business with him?" You raised a brow.
"I'm trying to be nice here," She raised the both of her hands, "I still like him, and I'm jealous. And when I'm jealous, I'll do anything even if it is illegal."
You stopped. You remembered (Crush's name)'s face the first time he met you, and this girl is his pain in the heart. And if they did meet up; maybe its your heart whose on the line.
"I...I'll try not to reply to that." You laughed awkwardly and snatched back your book, "We weren't doing anything, (Rival's name)."

~ [❓T i m e S k i p ❗ ] ~
It has already been half a month ever since you and (Crush's name) had met. Almost everyday, the two of you meet at the Music room, having jams, duo singing, or even teasing. You could almost consider that you're his girlfriend, but you're too anxious for the vague future for the both of you.
"Eh? Why did you stop singing, (First name)?" (Crush's name) worriedly look at you, and pointed at the lyric, "Every step that I take is another mistake to you."
Your eyes widened like saucers, and jolted upwards, "W-Whaaaat?"
"Oh come on, you're so weird!" He whined, "It's the next verse."
"O-Oh... I might have assumed there." You whispered to yourself. Gripping tightly at the paper that contained the lyrics, "I've become so numb, I can't feel you there. Become so tired, so much more aware. By becoming this all I want to do, is be more like me and be less like you 🎵"
You then stopped singing when (Crush's name) stopped strumming the guitar. Taking a glance to the male, send your heart dropped into agony. He was crying. (:D)
"(C-Crush's name)?"
"Oh uhh, sorry, my eyes are sweating." He chuckled softly, but it wasn't enough. "Anyways, let's continue the verse—"
You hugged (Crush's name), your right hand caressed his back, your chin was at the crook of his neck. And he instantly hugged you back,
"I'm sorry, I shouldn't have let you see me like this..." He mumbles,
"It's fine, I don't mind."
"You know, sometimes I do wonder what's wrong with me," (Crush's name) started and untangled himself from the hug, but before you could see his face, he placed his hand to your eyes, "Is there a chance for you and I? I beg you to stay here, by my side. Oh I don't care how much I have to wait on you🎵"
"You don't have to wait, you didn't have to beg. Since I'm already right outside of your heart, I was just waiting for it to open." You grinned, kissing him on the forehead.
Not noticing a certain girl by the door, "Tsk, I should've butted in the scene. But it doesn't matter. I'm in the past, and he's happy in the present. I should be proud." (Rival's name) smiled softly and left the scene.

I know there's no connection between the title and the plot. I mean, I haven't much placed lyrics and such. 'Cuz I thought the plot I was expecting is too long. ((I don't get it)).
