Jade walked out of her physiotherapist's office like so many times before. She felt deflated but at the same time kind of reliefed since he had told her that she was making huge steps into the right direction. It's not like she couldn't feel it herself, she noticed how she slowly could walk longer distances and how she could bend her knee slightly more than she was used to. But having a specialist telling her that she was doing something right made it even better.
She felt better about herself but she still hated being alone she didn't want to be alone with her thoughts. She was replaced, in her place played another up and coming talent and it made the brunette sick. Everyone seemed to be impressed by her skills and that's part of why she tried everything to get better faster.
Jade thanked the driver Perrie had gotten her in fear that something might happen to her if she trusted some stranger to bring her home and walked up to their flat with small but faster steps than just a few weeks ago.
It didn't take long for her to step into her and Perrie's flat and being warmed immediately. She noticed how there was noise coming from the living room. Naturally for her she gripped her crutches tighter and seriously considered hitting the intruder with it. She didn't necessarily need them to walk anymore but it gave her more security so she still took them with her.
Slowly she inched herself into the living room the sound becoming louder and louder and soon enough Jade figured that it was the telly which out of all the programmes there are it played a show about women getting a make over including getting their wardrobe sorted and Jade's face instantly scrunched up due to the absurdity of this programme.
But when she moved closer to the sofa she couldn't help but aww at the cute blonde which was laid on the sofa while snoring lightly. On the coffee table sat two plates filled with food and Jade cooed once more when she figured that Perrie was probably waiting for her to come back and fell asleep while doing so.
The footballer traced her fiance's cheek tenderly and sat down next to her while eating the food the blonde had prepared for her. Soon after she was back at watching the blonde, smiling and wondering how she deserved to be with her. A frown was placed on her face when she noticed a bruise on the singer's back, reminding herself to ask her about it later on.
But for the time being she put a blanket over the blonde seeing as she was wearing her bralet that she loved as it made her boobs stand out even more and lifted said blonde's head and placing it on her lap and stroking her hair lovingly, placing kisses on her face every now and then.
It didn't take long for her to switch from the ridiculous show to some football match, analysing it slightly while also enjoying the singer's presence.
She knew better than to wake her up, especially now that she caught up on sleep something she couldn't really do when she was on tour. Jade wasn't even sure where from the blonde had returned since it was at times a few countries a day for her. But from the way her make up seemed to be more prominent than normally and the kind of like chopsticks looking sticks in her hair she chose Japan as a safe option to go with.
However, Jade didn't get to enjoy being alone with Perrie for long as the front door busted open revealing none other than Paula who had promised the footballer to go over hers after their game against Arsenal. Of course Jade loved the idea as she had missed her friend who was too busy being in Manchester to see her but now that Perrie was here it seemed unnecessary.
"Your day's better now that I'm here!", Paula loudly announced her arrival, earning a chuckle from her friend who shushed her immediately.
"Oi Pez you should eat something proper not Jade", she joked seeing the position of the blonde's head which could be mistaken for the couple doing something rather naughty at the moment.
"She is not doing what you think she is. She's sleeping idiot.", Jade scolded her friend while stroking the blonde's head.
"Oh, sorry. Did I wake her?", Paula suddenly whispered.
And just as she asked the singer turned around and slept as if nothing had happened.
"As if, she'd sleep through a freaking war happening next to her", Jade laughed slightly, thinking of all the times she had tried to wake the blonde up.
"Oh ok. How's the knee?", Paula asked concerned she knew how much her friend was struggling with her injury and the resulting self doubts.
"It's getting better but it's still a long way back", the footballer trailed of, sighing while looking at the sleeping beauty in her lap.
"It's kind of lonely without you. I mean Olivia is great and nice but she could never replace you. There's a weird atmosphere in the team. I think you should surprise everyone maybe you should come with me to the team's chill night today."
"I don't know I have this weird feeling that it doesn't really matter if I'm there or not. And Pez just arrived as well. I can't just leave her like that"
"Why don't you take her with you the girls wouldn't mind have you forgotten how much they love Pez?"
"Who doesn't?", the footballer chuckled to herself very much aware of her fiancé's popularity all around the world and it was growing as well.
"And when did you start thinking that the team wouldn't miss you?"
"I don't know I kinda figured that as soon as I was replaced you guys would kind of forget about me"
"Oh shush, you know what I'll be back here in a few hours and pick you and miss sleeping beauty up and then we'll surprise the others", Paula said and left not giving Jade a chance to object.
The loud noise the front door made when it was closed seemed to slightly wake the blonde up. As she was turning on the brunette's lap only to realize that she wasn't laying on a pillow.
So she sleepily looked around trying to figure out what had happened the confusion could easily be made out from the look on her face.
She had decided to just put her head back onto whatever soft thing she was on and dozed off again as she could make out the people playing football on the telly. Which reminded her that Jade would usually watch it when she was at home.
This made her realize the hand that was placed on her bum and the hand that was stroking her hair lovingly. She slowly looked up and grinned once she saw her loved one smiling down at her.
"Morning sleepyhead"
Perrie was rubbing her eyes trying to get rid of the traces of sleep and waking up. She kind of felt like she was tipsy or something probably from the sleep or the fact that she was more than jetlagged.
"How late is it?"
"I don't even get a hello? How am I meant to marry you woman?", Jade joked, laughing at the blonde's state of mind. And the annoyed look on her face. It clearly was too early for sarcasm.
"You just do. Now how late is it?", the singer said restlessly.
"Half past 2 oh and you should probably eat something"
"Oh yeah I kinda fell asleep while waiting for you", the blonde said while shrugging still as sleepy as ever.
Shortly after she realized that she was laying on the injured footballer's lap and that she didn't want to pressure her knee for no reason so she sat up or better said tried to sit up as the brunette wouldn't let her.
"Bambi, I don't want to pressure your knee"
"You aren't chill. Were you by any chance in Japan?", the footballer asked, quickly changing the subject and stroking her cheek tenderly.
"Oh yeah, someone thought the chopsticks would be a fun thing to do. Which reminds me I'll get myself off of all of this", the blonde said while standing up and gesturing to herself while taking the food and eating it quickly so that Jade wouldn't annoy her.
Not too long after Perrie returned only this time around without any make up on, her hair still wet from the shower and dressed up like a hobo in one of Jade's shirts and some joggers.
Paps would surely think that something bad had happened to her and make up a shit story about her. Yet to Jade she looked like the most beautiful thing in this world.
The singer immediately sat down next to Jade and snuggled into her side with a big smile on her face.
"You're so beautiful", the footballer murmured while facing the blonde and pecking her lips softly.
"Not really. You are though", the singer said and kissed her loved one deeply.
After a rather long make out session the couple was just staring into each other's eyes grinning like Cheshire cats. They sat there the TV long forgotten while holding onto each other for dear life.
"Bambi?"
"Hmm?"
"Why were you staring at my boobs so much before?"
Jade couldn't help but blush due to her being caught when she thought that she was being sly. "You know what that bralet does to me babes"
"How could I forget?", the singer asked, recalling New year's when she had first wore it and Jade just couldn't keep her hands to herself and well the rest was quite the private show. She was even asked about weird marks by her stylists and the host of some radio station a few days later.
"And no it won't happen today, remember your knee", Perrie said, knowing too well what the footballer's look meant.
"But I'm getting better. I'll be ok"
"Nah, now how's the knee?", the blonde asked concerned while putting her hand onto Jade's thigh.
"Like I said it's getting better. Not as quickly as I'd like for it to be but it's definitely a lot better than even a week ago. Walking doesn't really hurt anymore just like long distances or standing for a long time or something and I can't pressure it as much as I'd like to but I'm getting there"
"I'm proud of you. I know how hard it is for you. And I'm so sorry that I couldn't be there for you"
"Oh Paula is coming over again later and will pick us up since she thinks it'll be good for me to be with the team a bit"
"What do you mean by again?"
"When you were sleeping she was here and she thought we were doing something I'd love to do right now but you just won't let me", the brunette exclaimed while pouting, trying to persuade her fiancé to get what she wanted.
"Not now, Bambi I'm tired. And I sure as hell won't dress up for your team"
"Great. Why is there a bruise on your back by the way?"
"I just fell, it happens you know"
"Why didn't you tell me?"
"Oh come on it's a bruise and you suffer from one fucking painful knee injury I didn't want to worry you as well"
"I might forgive you"
"Why only might?", asked the confused singer, having no idea what her love was on right now.
"Depends if I get some loving from my love", Jade said while wiggling her eyebrows.
"You're an idiot"
"An idiot that will get some loving?"
"An idiot that might get some loving", Perrie stated, chuckling at the defeated brunette.
"You're mean", said a pouting footballer.
"Oh shut up and kiss me. I freaking missed you", Perrie exclaimed while leaning in which made Jade smile immediately and lean in as well.
