Harmony's PROV
Once I entered the Alpha's territory I smelled something so sweet and yummy. It was the smell of roses, lavender and strawberrys. It took all of my strength not to run to find the source of the smell, Father said Jade, Eli, Jay and I had to be on our best behavior. Dad kept going off about the power radiating off of this Alpha from this far of a distance in the pack link. I usually keep it shut tightly but Father told me to open it just in case rougues attacked us on our journey. I just couldn't help but keep thinking about that mouth watering scent. We all stopped and shifted once the HUGE pack house came into view. This really tall man that was utterly gorgeous with hazel eyes and brown cropped hair, with a descent build and cocky smirk showed us the way inside to were the Alpha was supposed to be. I don't know why it was so important for us to come see and obserb this Alpha... but soon I found out why.
My family walked into the very large dinning hall, there was a long table that stretched across the whole room, it could seat 500 and over people. MAN this pack must be big. I sniffed the air and the scent was very strong here, I walked into the room last of course and that's when I saw the Alpha. Everyone in my family was surprised at the sight of the Alpha, The Alpha was a female. I couldn't help but gawk at her. She was utterly georgous, she had midnight black hair with green streaks that fell over her hipbones, with dark green eyes, full pink plump lips, high cheekbones, pale skin, muscles, C sized boobs, and nice sized booty, and the most amazing tattoos ive ever seen, I could only see the ones on her arms but I knew there was more. I shook my head and focused on the conversation my Father and the Alpha were having.
My father smirked at her, " Calla, Its wonderful to see you having a very heart-filled talk with your pack!" Then he started laughing. I could tell she was just tired of being looked down upon. Calla sighed, my farther was messing with her, "Come on Calla, Im just messing with you. I think its good that you are showing your pack that they need to have respect for guests. Very Alpha like." I could tell my Father was getting on Calla's nerves, "Well Alpha Carlos it would be very Alpha like of me because I AM Alpha of my pack." I flinched at her tone. She was very intimidating. My father smirked at her, "I can see that, Oh I forgot this is my family, My wife Eseme, my oldest son Jay, then Eli and then the twins Jade and Harmony." He pointed to each one of us.
Calla looked at each one of us and smiled, when she looked into my eyes It was like I was getting lost in her dark green irises. I shook my head and snapped out of it. Calla smiled brightly again, "Hello I am Alpha Calla, Its truly an honor to be able to meet all of you. I hope you enjoy staying here at my pack house. All of your rooms are ready. I will have Mary escort you there to get settled after you eat breakfast of course." My whole family was stunned by her kind ness, we all knew she was powerful but none of us expected her to have a big, lovey heart. I knew my Father was going to turn down Calla's offer to breakfast but my Mother interrupted him, "I would love to eat breakfast with you and your pack Alpha Calla. Would you mind me sitting next to you?" My mother smiled warmly at her. I could tell Calla was shocked that my mother wanted to sit next to her.
Calla quickly replaced the shock with a smile, "Eseme I would love for you to sit next to me." My mother turned towards all of us, "Carlos stop being rude to this young girl." I could tell she was not pleased with his behavior. My father glared at Calla, "Eseme that girl isn't fit to be this packs Alpha! I would do a better job!" My mother looks furious, "Carlos! This young lady is very strong, powerful, intelligent, bold, brave, daring, loving and caring. She had every right to be this packs Alpha, just because shes a female dosnt mean she cant be Alpha." My father cowered back from her words. He stared at his feet, avoiding my mothers eyes. Mom sighed and looked at Jade and I, "Can you please be sincere and join me to have breakfast with Calla?" I could tell she didn't want Calla's feelings to be hurt. I looked over at her to see her pack left and she was sitting poking around at the new plate of food she grabbed.
I turned my head and looked at my twin Jade, she was grinning, "Are you kidding??? I would be HONORED to even sit in one of her chairs! I really want to talk with her, she seems to unique and amazing!" Jade was latterly bouncing up and down with exciment. GOSH she was a handful. My mother looked at me and I nodded. It wouldn't kill me to get to know Alpha Calla. My father glared at me and muttered, "Traitors" under his breathe before walking out of the room with Mary, my brother trailed behind him but shot apologetic looks at mom. Mom closed her eyes and took two deep breaths before opening her eyes and smiling, she pushed us over to sit to the left of Calla. She was staring at her food, like she didn't even realize we were here.
But when Mom pulled her chair out Calla's eyes shot up to her, she looked startled to see us all sitting her with her, she looked around and saw the men wernt here. My mother looked into Calla's eyes, "Calla dear don't think my husband dosnt like you, he does but he feels threatened by you. When we were about 500 miles away from the pack house we could feel the power from you radiating everywhere. He was shocked. He wants to show his kids that hes the best Alpha ever but that's not the case. Hes an amazing Alpha, Husband, and Father but hes not the BEST of the best. That my dear is you."
My mother was spot on... we were all freaked out about the strength radiating from her... she was so intimidating in person. I was all tense and I watched every move she made, she was so graceful and beautiful and she didn't even realize it. I knew my mother was reading her thoughts, I knew Father would be mad at her for exposing her ability. No one other then close, close family members and friends knew about the abilities in this family. What Mom was doing was risky...
Calla nodded, My mother huffed, "Dear, don't let anyone judge you because of your gender, everyone knows you are powerful and strong. People are jealous of that and they will kill the power by harming you, physically and verbally but you have to over come that and realize how great you really are." Calla smiled at my Mom's words. "Your a telepathic just like me. Its good to know one other person other then Jasper that's like me. But since you ran here you must be a werewolf too." My mother smiled at her, "Yes I am just like you Calla, And I am a werewolf. I was honestly surprised you weren't a wolf. Your so muscly and strong, the way you use your Alpha tone even had my husband and I, even the children flinching." Calla nodded and looked down at her lap.
I could tell Jade was going to step in because she was reading her thoughts, when ever Jade reads thoughts she crunches up her eyebrows in concentration, "Calla don't think your a freak, cause your tots not! Your gorgeous and don't even get me started on those tattoos!!" Calla glanced at Jade to see she was smiling very big, it was kind of creepy but Calla just found it amusing. She laughed at her (Man her laugh is so seductive), "Jade, I see you can also read my thoughts. Thank you, you know the story of these tattoos are quite strange. Would you like to hear?" I looked at Jade to see her face was lit up, "Of course I would!!!!" She squealed with joy and clapped her hands together... jeez my twin and I are so different. So annoying.
Calla chuckled, "Ok so you must must know im a special type of faye with three abilities, I am a succubus, telepathic and a nymph.... Im a wood, land and air nymph."
Calla paused the story to see our reactions. WE WERE ALL STUNNED! I have never heard of that being possible ever... my mothers eyes were wide and Jade and mines mouth were open with shock. I saw a pained expression cross over her face but she ignored out reactions and continued.
"So we were going to battle with the Dark Dawning Pack, You know before they all joined my pack. You se my mate was its Alpha but I didn't know he was cause I was mixed up with three other mates. But ill skip that part, S these faye came to help me master my abilities, and when I practiced my famous lightning storm, I passed out from all of the energy and power I was holding. And when I woke up and went to shower I saw myself in the mirror and saw everything changed. My hair used to be brown, and my eyes used to be light brown, I had bad any muscle, but I was still strong.
"So I saw my hair changed to its midnight black with green streaks and to see my eyes changed to a darker green color. The most shocking thing I saw was these tattoos. They represent power, each one means something. The vines going down my arms represent my abilities for being a wood nymph, and the lighting bold in my palms represent the abilities for being an air nymph. But the pattern that goes down my back and over my hips and down my legs confuse me... they are a sapphire pattern. I have yet to figure that one out but I know I will. Then lastly there is a dark flower pattern that wraps around my ankles and going down my foot bones to my toenails, and that represents my abilities for being a wood nymph. So that's the crazy story."
Calla lifts her head and looks into Jade's eyes and there is no doubt she sees adoration, "That is amazing! Do you mind showing us??" WHAT THE HELL JADE???? I could see Calla was thinking about it so I took this as the chance to talk her out of this!
"Jade what the hell? She has to be like half naked to show us? What is wrong with you???"
Jade looked at me and rolled her eyes, "Don't be such a prude Harmony. We are all girls, its not like we are attracted to her. Jeez, its just tattoos. BUT OMG Calla is amazing!"
I glare at Jade, I am not a prude, "I am not a prude, and I know we are all girls but its weird... And Jade you and I need to talk later im confused..."
Jade looks at me, OH NO! She's going to read my thoughts, she scrunched up her eyebrows. But before she could get anything info from my I put my mental walls up. Mental walls block anyone from reading or getting into your thoughts. Its pretty useful, mine is really strong because I've held it up for a long time so I can have my privacy from all of the telepathicism in my family. Jade glares at me, and I grin.
Calla sighs, Jade and I snap our heads up to look at her, she nods her head, Jade gets out of her seat and starts squealing with excitement. I roll my eyes and start to get up to leave but when Calla stood up and whipped her tank top off, so she was in a bra. Exposing the sapphire design on her back, once I looked at her body it was like I was planted to this spot. I couldn't move my eyes away from her. Calla bent down and removed her leggings, so she was only in her black undies, exposing the sapphire pattern continuing to spiral on her hips and down her legs, then she slipped her socks off to show that the sapphire pattern stopped and a dark flower pattern replaced it, it wrapped around her ankles and followed her toe bones down to her toenails.
I heard the gasps coming from all three of us. Calla was utterly beautiful. The sun was peering in from the tall windows in the dining hall, so it made the sapphire pattern shimmer in the light, it looked like the tattoos were popping off of her body. She looked like a goddess. My mother was completely in awe, "C-Calla these are so beautiful... can I touch them?" My head snapped to look at my mother.
Suddenly I felt anger building up inside me, I didn't like the idea of my mom touching Calla. I flicked my eyes to look at Calla but she smiled and nodded at my mom. A growl was threatening to come out of my mouth when my mom reached her palm out and touched her arm, and traced the vines that spiral down her arms. She paused and then with her index finger traced the sapphire pattern down her back and around her right hip and stopped there.
My body was being taken over my anger and love... Wait, love? How can that be. GOD I AM SO CONFUSED!!! I shouldn't be angry that my mother is touching Calla... Its just her. She's an Alpha she means nothing to me. I close my eyes and take deep breaths clearing my mind of Calla. "Truly beautiful and gorgeous Calla." I opened my eyes to look at everyone. My mother smiled warmly at Calla and then I looked to Jade, she was staring at Calla's tattoos in awe. She reached her hand out and stroked Calla's palms, Calla laughed. URGH! I SHOULDNT FEEL MAD!
Right then Calla looked at me, Calla looked confused, "What's wrong Harmony?" The way she says my name cause shivers to roll down my spine. My eyes widen at her power over me, "I-I'm s=sorry Alpha C-Calla." Whats wrong with me? I should speak like the proud wolf I am! Calla frowned at me. I could see Calla was thinking deeply about something. She sighed and looked right into my eyes.
Suddenly I felt cracking and tearing at my mental wall, OMG CALLA IS TRYING TO OPEN ME UP! Wait, Calm down Harmony.... our walls are to strong for her. I feel Calla searching along my wall. Then she stops, GAWD she found a hole in my wall. She breaks it open and my wall crumbles to pieces. I couldn't help but let her read my thoughts.
'Calla is so beautiful...'
Omg, Calla is dripping with power and strength... Urgh she's so intimidating.'
'URGH Harmony your such an idiots! Just talk to her... she's just a very powerful Alpha, of a huge, strong pack.'
'If mother and Jade thinks she's safe.. Urgh Harmony you know she's safe, you can feel it. She is so kind to us even though Father was mocking her. I think Calla is a great Alpha, I can tell just by dipping into her thoughts.'
'I told mother and Jade and the rest of the family not to tell Calla in a telepathic because I am so intrigued by her thoughts that I don't want her to close me off... I just feel lost.'
'Once I met her eyes I knew I was.... Falling in love.'
'But what I don't understand is, how can I fall in love with the Alpha of another pack, especially since I have a mate somewhere out there.'
My eyes widen, and so does Calla's. OMG I FEEL SO EMBARASSED! Anger was taking over me. I shut my eyes and push Calla out of my thoughts and rebuild my wall. Making sure there are no holes. I open my eyes to see Calla is closer to me, Jade and my mother weren't there anymore.
I looked at Calla's face to see a mask of confusion, hanging on to her features, I don't want to be here, "Harmony, You can talk to me about anything..." I don't even let her finish her sentence. I turn away from her and run in the direction of which my Father left. I run up the stairs, following the scent of my twin, as I run down the halls all of the pack members are staring at me with confusion. I simply ignore them. I come across a room where Jade's scent is strongest and before I could open the door, Jade swung it open and pulled me in.
"HARMONY! Tell me everything!"
I sigh, I knew this was coming. I walk over to what I believe is my bed and sit down, Jade runs over and sits on the bed opposite of me. I take a deep breath and close my eyes.
"Once I came across Calla's scent when we crossed the border of her territory i became filled with lust and wonder. She smelled like roses, lavender and strawberries. I stopped there and looked up into Jade's eyes, they were filled with tears. OMG WHAT DID I DO? I frown, "Jade what's wrong hunnie??" Jade smiles at me and wipes away the tears that spilled on her cheeks, "Harmony... Calla is your mate." WHAT??? That is impossible. I shake my head at her, "Jade you know she already has a mate. You saw the way she looked at me, she looks at me like im a kid. There is no way she will ever feel the same way towards me, the way i feel towards her." Jade looks at me and shakes her head and then looks down at her lap, "Harm, I read her thoughts... she's curious about you, but she's blinded by her 'mate' that she couldn't see her love for you. She's special, and we know anything is possible with her. Just wait and see..." I nod at her just to make her feel better... I knew Calla would never be interested in me. I'm just an Alpha's daughter, no super powerful and strong and amazingly beautiful Alpha like Calla will ever want to mate with me.
