Chapter 29

David is back now, delivering my meal.

I sit in the corner of the room holding my legs with my chin resting on my knees.

I look up at him, my hair falls around my eyes.

I haven't said anything else to him with the past 2 days since our last chat.

He sits my meal down in the table and gives me a small smile before walking to the entrance.

"David." my voice cracks, I haven't spoken in those two days.

He looks to me stopping in his place

"I- I will, be your- bride." I clear my throat.

I notice Renn looks up at me as he sits on the edge of his mattress. He is in utter shock.

"I will marry you." I rise, fisting my hands.

"Carlie no." Renn stands.

"I will marry you, if you release Renn." I ignore Renn's pleads for me to stop talking

"Elope." I say

"Carlie NO!" Renn begs

I look to him, give a look as to say I'm sorry.

David gets closer to me.

"I'm not gullible." he whispers in my ear and I begin to tear up.

He turns around and the anger boils up inside of me.

I do what my instinct does and run up and jump on his back, we crash to the ground.

I begin to punch and scream.

Renn is yelling for me to stop, but it's to late.

David pushes my weightless body off like I'm nothing and grabs my shirt lifting me up, he begins dragging me.

"Renn." I choke out.

David drags me through a few hallways, I try and get onto my feet so I won't be choking so much but it isn't gonna happen.

He takes me back to the room I was in before I was thrown in a cell to rot and puts me in the dental chair.

He grabs my chin making me look at him, I can't move my head his grip is to heavy.

"You're despicable. You're not the girl I wanted, I don't want to marry you." he grits his teeth

"So you believe I'm not Kelsey?" I ask

"Oh no, you're Kelsey. But you have some work you need to do." He takes out a pair of pliers

"Let's start with you're teeth." he smiles before falling to the ground.

Renn sits ontop of him punching his face.

I sit up and I'm shocked at how Renn got out.

David turns him around and picks Renn up and pushes him against the wall.

I watch as they begin tumbling around, one on top of the other. I feel like I'm watching TV, like I can't move. I try and stop them but I just watch, I can't move or say anything.

Then it all stops. A name is called.

"David." a soft female voice rings.

David turns his head. Renn looks forward.

I'm afraid of what I might find, but I look. Turning my entire body to find a women.

"What are you doing, David?" The women asks

David drops Renn, he falls to the ground with a plump, I rush over and kneel beside him after giving him a hug.

We both look as David slowly walks to the women

"Who is that?" I ask Renn

"Kelsey?" David says, I'm in awe.
