Delilah's POV
"Everyone's staring." I muttered to Harry as we entered the school building, holding hands.
"Let them stare." He whispered back into my ear.
"I feel like people are stabbing me with their eyes." I replied under my breath.
"Don't worry about it." He said louder this time as we approached my locker.
"How are my lovely love birds this morning?" Louis joked as he stood against the locker next to mine.
"Fine." I stated matter-of-factly.
"Woah, trouble in paradise already?" He asked.
"She doesn't like the fact everyone is staring." Harry said to him.
"You better get used to it hanging around us." Louis winked.
"So modest." I joked back.
"I can't help that I have the females all over me."
"Then why don't you have a girl friend?" I questioned raising my eyebrows.
"There's so many I can't choose." He eventually answered.
"Whatever stops the tears Louis." I replied taking my math book out of my locker.
"Why are you taking maths higher?" Harry asked eyeing my book.
"Because in maths there are no opinions, it's all fact and there's always one answer."
"Huh, I guess, I never really thought about it like that."
"We better get to form, wouldn't want to be late." I joked sarcastically.
"Yeah, we wouldn't want that." He replied mimicking my tone. I started to walk away but Harry quickly grabbed my arm pulling me back. "What, no goodbye kiss?" He asked pulling me close.
"We're in the same form you dork." I laughed at him.
"I don't care." He replied before connecting our lips hungrily.
"Okay, we really need to go." I said breaking away.
"If you insist." He said pretending to be disheartened.
"I do, now come on." I said leading him.
"So how was double maths?" Harry asked as we sat at their lunch table.
"Surprisingly fun." I replied shovelling a few chips in my mouth causing Harry to chuckle.
"How can you find maths fun?" Niall questioned, his mouth full of food, surprise surprise. I placed my chips down and looked straight at him. "What?" He asked, still hoarding food into his mouth.
"Nothing." I chuckled.
"But seriously Delilah, how can you like maths?" Zayn asked.
"I just do." I replied. "The same way you like eating Niall." I joked.
"Eating and maths aren't even on the same spectrum." He argued.
"It was just an example of a simile." I retorted.
"We're not in English class." He replied.
"Oh, so you know what a simile is?" I joked.
"Shut up." He replied before throwing a chip at me. I was about to throw one back but Harry quickly grabbed my arm.
"We don't want a repeat of last time." He said eating the chip out of my hand.
"Hey!" I exclaimed.
"What's mine is yours." He replied stealing another chip.
"If you say so." I teased and took his donut and shoved the whole thing in my mouth.
"Attractive." He replied sarcastically.
"Aren't I just?" I winked.
"Unfortunately you are." He replied making his nose touch mine.
"Please stop with the PDA, I'm trying to eat." Niall moaned.
"Dude, you're always eating." Harry said turning away from me. Niall huffed in response.
"I like to eat, okay?"
"We know." Liam joked.
The lunch bell soon rang and we headed off to our last lessons of the day, reluctantly.
"What are you doing after school?" Harry asked grabbing my hand as we exited the music room.
"Going home, probably watch some movies and fall asleep on the sofa." I replied grinning.
"Sounds like fun."
"What are you doing?" I asked returning the question.
"Going to ma lady's house, watching some movies and falling asleep with her in my arms." He replied smirking.
"Oh are you now?" I asked raising my eyebrows at him.
"Yep, now come on, it's gonna rain soon." He said pulling me faster along the sidewalk.
By the time we got back to my house we were both drenched, we were only ten minutes away from my house and the rain just came down, it was like a flash flood except without the flooding, so theoretically it was just a heavy rainstorm.
"The wet dog look, I like it." Harry joked.
"You can't talk, you look you've stuck your head in a toilet." I replied running my hands through his hair.
"You know what I've always wanted to do?"
"Lick your elbow?" I joked.
"No." He laughed. "This." He said pulling me back out the door.
"Why are we going back outside, it's raining really heavy now." I said, the raindrops hitting my shoulders hard.
"I don't care." He replied grinning.
"Harry what is going?" I asked but he didn't answer. "Harry?" I repeated slightly louder.
"Will you just calm down and enjoy the moment?" He replied loud enough for me to hear over the pounding rain.
"What moment?" I asked puzzled.
"This one." He stated before pulling me close.
"What?" I asked still confused.
"Just shut up and kiss me." He said before finding my lips with his. You know how they always say in the movies that kissing in the rain is really romantic? Well I can't disagree. My heart fluttered more than ever before. Our lips moved in sync, hungry for more. I wrapped my hands around his neck, my fingers pulling gently on his hair. His arms found their way around my back and pulled my body against his. I could feel his tongue grazing my bottom lip and couldn't deny him access. His tongue was familiar with my mouth by now but every time it felt different, unique. Every time we kissed it got even better, even more intense and I was loving it. I didn't noticed I was shivering until Harry pulled apart and placed his forehead on mine.
"Come on, before you catch a cold." He smiled pulling me back inside. We walked back in the house and was greeted by my house keeper.
"That was like something out of the movies." She gushed, grinning from ear to ear like she had just experienced the kiss.
"I know." I replied still in a daze.
"Now let's get you out of those wet clothes." Harry winked. I swung my arm around gently whacking him in the stomach. "Alright, alright." He replied stopping my hand from hitting him again. We ran upstairs, careful not to slip on our wet feet. I changed into some fresh clothes while I searched for something for Harry to wear.
"My dad's away on business, you can borrow a spare shirt and sweat pants." I said leading him into my parent's room.
"And I thought your room was big." He said in awe as I flicked through my parents walk in wardrobe.
"Eh." I replied and threw some clothes at him. After he changed we wandered down the stairs, I grabbed some popcorn from the kitchen whilst he decided on a movie. "Zombie land?" I asked raising my eyebrows.
"Awesome film."
"I know." I smiled sitting down next to him. He subconsciously wrapped his arm around my shoulder while I leaned into him whilst he leant down and kissed my forehead.
"How did I ever hate you?" He asked quietly.
"I ask myself the same question." I replied smiling up at him, he leaned down and kissed my lips sweetly, like in the movies.
