Glaiza and Caedy both agreed to do the dishes after we had breakfast. I let them though I've never seen Glaiza washed dishes before. Why, she's freakin' Glaiza De Castro, "the high and mighty" and washing dirty dishes doesn't suit her.
In fact, I've never seen her cook too, not until the other day when I caught her with our daughter in the kitchen preparing a surprise breakfast for me.
It's so unlike her to be this domesticated and I admit it warms my heart everytime she tried to help me doing all the house chores. It's a nice feeling knowing that I have someone like her who wanted to share even the littlest and the simplest things with me. She's indeed doing her job well and I know I couldn't asked for any better half other than her.
I left them for awhile when Mom asked me if she can have a minute with me. We talked about her wanting to go back to the Philippines. Mas panatag na daw itong iwan ako dahil alam nitong may makakasama na ko sa pag-aalaga sa kambal. I teased her that even before I already have someone with me since Jayson was always around but Mom just flared her nose and told me that more than anyone she only trusts Glaiza. I chuckled, dahil parang sinabi na din nito na wala itong tiwala kay Jayson. Sabagay, kahit noon pa naman ay hindi nito itinatago ang disgusto sa tuwing dumadalaw si Jayson.
And when Glaiza showed up, isa ito sa mga natuwa. I know she talked to Glaiza after the latter brought us home from the hospital, kung anuman ang napag-usapan ng mga ito ay walang nagtangkang magbanggit sa'kin. I didn't tried to asked either but Mom seems relieved after that talk.
Hindi ko na pinigilan si Mommy sa plano nitong pagbalik sa Pilipinas. I know how much she missed home and Dad needs her too. She had done enough for me and the kids and it's not fair to still hold her here.
Natapos ang pag-uusap namin ni Mom at muli akong bumalik sa kusina para tingnan kung ano nang ginagawa ng mag-ina ko.
"Hey, what's going on here?" Maluwang ang ngiting tanong ko ng madatnan ko silang nagwiwisikan ng tubig sa mukha habang nagtatawanan.
They're face was both soaking wet when they turned to me.
Sa halip na sumagot ay nagpalitan ng makahulugang tingin ang mga ito pagkatapos ay naglagay ng tubig sa mga palad at mabilis akong sinugod.
Nanlaki ang mga mata ko at nagtangkang umiwas pero pinagtulungan ako ng mga ito.
I was laughing as I tried to resist them.
"Guys, stop it!" I shrieked as I felt the water hit my face.
"Sweetheart, go get more water!" Natatawang utos ni Glaiza kay Caedy habang yakap ako ng mahigpit mula sa likuran para hindi ako makawala. Agad namang sumunod si Caedy at bumalik sa sink.
Basa na din ako dahil hindi lang wisik ang ginawa nila sa'kin. Literal nila akong sinabuyan ng tubig.
"Hubby, no! Caedy, stop!" I'm also laughing as I tried to wriggle free.
"What did you just call me, huh?" She nuzzled my ear and I shiver. Then gently bit my shoulder blade that I felt a sudden tickling sensation.
"Glai, stop it!" I said in between laughs.
"No, not until you call me hubby again." Muli nitong inulit ang ginawa kasabay ng mahinang pagpisil sa tagiliran ko, muli naman akong napapitlag.
Alam nya ang bahagi ng katawan ko kung saan malakas ang kiliti ko and she used it to her advantage.
"You wish." I chuckled then tried to free myself again from her arms that wrapped around me.
"Ah, ganun ..." Muli sana itong mangingiliti nang tumambad sa harap namin si Caedy.
"Mimi, here's the water." Caedy said, flashing a wide smile.
My eyes widen as I saw little Caedy holding two glasses of water in both hands.
"Okay sweetie, let's give Mama a cold shower then." Glaiza said grinning from ear to ear.
"No, no, no, Caedy Cassidy, stop right there!" I warned.
Pero napapikit na lang ako ng maramdaman ko ang lamig ng tubig na sumaboy sa katawan ko. Then I heard them both laughed hard.
Sinamantala ko ang pagkakataon at mabilis na kumawala.
With me dripping wet, hurriedly rushed to the sink and get my own glass of water.
Nagulat pa si Glaiza at napahinto sa pagtawa nang sabuyan ko ng tubig. Bahagya na ding nawisikan si Caedy ng tubig na isinaboy ko.
Her eyes went in slits as she turned to me. Pagkatapos ay muling nagtinginan ng makahulugan ang mga ito. Tila nag-usap ang mga mata bago isang makahulugang ngiti ang sumungaw sa mga labi.
Alam kong may binabalak na naman ang mga ito nang magkasabay na muling bumaling sa'kin kaya inunahan ko na.
"Hey, gumanti lang ako. Kayo ang nauna." I said, giving them a warning look but unable to suppress my smile.
"Caedy, attack !!" Glaiza and Caedy run towards me.
Bago pa ako makaiwas ay pareho na silang nasa harap ko at mahigpit akong niyakap at sinimulang kilitiin.
"Hey, please stop ..." Hindi ako magkandatuto sa pagtawa at ganun din naman sila sa malakas na paghalakhak.
Nasa ganun kaming tagpo ng isang tinig ang nakapagpatigil sa'min. At magkakasabay pa kaming napalingon sa pinanggalingan nito.
"What's happening here?" It was Jayson's voice who echoed around the kitchen.
Hindi namin namalayang nakatayo na pala ito sa may pintuan, madilim ang anyo na marahil dahil sa inabutang tagpo.
Kumalas ako sa pagkakayakap ni Glaiza at si Caedy naman ay yumakap sa binti nito.
Glaiza gave Jayson a death glare. Walang pakialam sa galit na inilalabas ng mga mata ng huli.
"I'm asking you Rhian, anong ibig sabihin nito?!" He said in an angry voice.
Bahagya pa akong napapitlag dahil sa lakas ng boses nito.
"Hwag mo syang sigawan! Wala kang karapatan!" Singhal dito ni Glaiza sa malakas at hindi magpapatalong tinig.
"At sinong may karapatan? Ikaw?" Jayson glared and started walking towards Glaiza.
Bahagya namang inilayo ni Glaiza si Caedy na nanatiling nakayakap sa binti nito pagkatapos ay sinalubong si Jayson.
Nang tuluyang magkalapit ang dalawa ay nagsukatan ng tingin ang mga ito. Walang gustong magpatalo, parehong bakas sa mga mata ang pagkasuklam para sa isa't isa.
"Kung inaakala mong natatakot ako sa yaman mo, nagkakamali ka." Sumisingasing si Jayson sa galit.
"Then bring it on, asshole." Glaiza respond, her eyes in slits because of pure anger.
"Hey, hey, you two stop it." Mabilis akong pumagitna sa kanila bago pa sila magkapisikalan. "My daughter's watching you."
Bahagya namang napayapa ang mga ito matapos tapunan ng sulyap si Caedy na ilang hakbang lang ang layo sa amin at nagmamasid sa mga nangyayari. Confusion was written in her little eyes.
"I'll wait for you outside and make it fast. You have a lot of explaining to do." Marahas na baling sa'kin ni Jayson.
Tumango lang ako bilang tugon.
Mabilis nang lumabas si Jayson kaya muli kaming naiwang tatlo nila Caedy.
"Are you okay? You want me to go with you outside?" Glaiza asked worriedly as she took my hand.
"I'm fine." I assured her. "And I want to do this alone."
Tumango ito pero hindi nawala ang kaseryosohan sa mukha.
"Hwag lang sya magkakamaling saktan ka. Because once he lay a finger on you, I swear --"
"Glaiza, Jayson maybe a lot of things but he never hurt me physically, not even once. And I don't think he will do it now, especially now that he knows that you're just right here."
I heard her deep sigh. Her face soften a little. Kung sa ibang pagkakataon ay matatawa ako sa itsura namin dahil mukha kaming mga basang sisiw. We're all soaking wet plus the whole kitchen was a disaster. And if not for Jayson's presence, sigurado akong hanggang sa mga oras na 'to ay tuloy pa din ang paghaharutan naming tatlo.
"Are you gonna tell him?" Glaiza asked afterwards.
"I need to. Ayoko namang umasa pa sya."
"And you think he will accept everything just like that?" May pagdududa sa boses nya.
"Well, he doesn't have a choice." I replied, I myself wasn't sure how Jayson will took it once I broke up with him.
I sighed.
"I'll just fix myself first. Ikaw na muna ang bahala dito." I turned to Caedy who now looks terrible in her wet dress. "Gorgeous, go change your clothes. You don't want to catch cold. At ikaw din." Muling baling ko kay Glaiza, referring to her wet clothes too.
She just silently nod.
I know she's still worried and so did I. But I have to face Jayson in one way or another and it has to be now or never.

Matapos makapagpalit ng damit at masigurong presentable na ang itsura ko ay diretso na kong lumabas ng bahay.
I found Jayson standing next to his car on the garage. Madilim pa din ang anyo nito pero bahagya nang nabawasan ang galit sa mga mata nito kumpara kanina.
Atubili pa din akong lumapit pero nilakasan ko na lang ang loob ko.
I took a deep breath before I utter a word.
"Jays --"
"Explain to me why she's still here? At yung inabutan ko kanina, anong ibig sabihin nun?" He asked anguishly.
"Jayson, she's my kids mother --"
"Which makes me sick!" He shouted.
"Jayson please calm down." Mahinahong sabi ko. Alam kong kung sasabayan ko ang galit nya ay walang matinong pupuntahan ang pag-uusap namin.
"How can you expect me to calm down when I saw you hugging your estranged wife, laughing and playing around with her as if you two are back in each other's arms again!"
Guilt registered on my eyes and I know Jayson saw that. His anger intensified.
"So, I'm right. Kayo na ulit." It was more of a statement than a question. "Kailan pa? Did she sleep here already? Did you two fuck each other? Answer me! Damn it!" He shouted.
"Jayson, I'm sorry." I said softly, almost in tears. Wala nang dahilan para magsinungaling.
God, this is so much harder than I thought.
"Sorry?" Nanlilisik ang mga mata nito sa galit habang nakatingin sa'kin. "Rhian, we've been together for a long time but never ... never for one moment had you allow me to sleep in your fucking house because you said your kids are there and we should set some boundaries! Now tell me, where's the justice in there? Kapag sya pwede pero kapag ako hindi? Ano bang meron sya na wala ako, huh?" He grab my arm and pulled me closer to him.
"Jayson, you're hurting me." I wince in pain because of his tight grip.
Hindi ako inintindi nito sa halip ay mas lalo pang hinigpitan ang pagkakahawak sa braso ko.
"Tell me, what does she have that I don't?" He glared.
"Jayson, please let go of my arm."
"Tell me! Damn it!"
"I love her! There, I said it!" I blurted out and my tears began to fall "I love her, Jays. Believe me I tried to forget her and my feelings for her. I tried to love you back. God knows how much I tried but it's hard, it's really hard. Hindi ko sya kayang kalimutan hindi lang dahil sa nanay sya ng mga anak ko o dahil sa asawa ko pa din sya. I can't forget her because after all these years ... my heart only beats for her. It's still here and I'm sorry ... I'm so sorry ..."
Without a word Jayson, held my nape and claimed my lips in a harsh and hungry kiss. It was meant to punished and wasn't gentle at all.
Halos madurog ang mga labi ko sa marahas na paraan ng paghalik nya. Pakiramdam ko ay mauubusan na din ako ng hangin dahil wala syang tigil sa pananalakay. His tongue trying to go inside my mouth.
I pushed him hard but he was gripping me so tight. And I can't pull back my head either because he's now pinning me against the side of his car.
"Jayson, stop --" I was able to utter when his mouth slightly left mine to gasp some air. Pero nabalewala ang protesta ko ng muling sakupin ng mga labi nya ang bibig ko.
My tears kept falling because of helplessness. Jayson definitely went too far this time!
But if he thinks I'm that weak and I will let him have his way on me just like that, he can't think again!
Mabilis akong nag-isip. I can't used my both hands because he's holding it so tight and I can't used my legs either because he's pinning them with his.
Think Rhian, think!
An idea came just right on time.
I open my mouth as if I'm about to respond to his carnal kisses. Naramdaman kong nasiyahan sya sa ginawa ko pero hindi na ko nagpatumpik-tumpik pa. I bit his lower lip, enough for him to loosen his hold on my body.
"What the fuck --" Bahagya itong lumayo at nakita ko ang pag-agos ng dugo sa labi nito.
At yun lang ang hinihintay ko. Marahas ko na sana syang itutulak palayo ng mula sa kung saan ay lumitaw si Glaiza at parang kidlat sa bilis na tumama ang kamao nito sa mukha ni Jayson.
And Jayson being caught off guard suddenly got off balance. His huge frame automatically fall on the ground and before he can even react Glaiza kick him hard on the face.
I heard Jayson groaned in pain. Hindi na nito nakuhang lumaban pa dahil sunud-sunod na suntok na ang ibinigay dito ni Glaiza.
I was just standing still, horrified from what's happening.
Glaiza continued to punch Jayson eventhough the latter's face was almost covered with blood.
It took a moment before my sensible mind took place.
Mabilis akong kumilos at lumapit kay Glaiza na hindi pa din tinitigilan si Jayson kahit na nga ba lungayngay na ang ulo nito sa dami ng tinamong suntok.
"Glaiza please, that's enough! He's bleeding already!"
But she was too blinded by anger that I don't think she heard me.
Still in tears, I held her arm. Trying to stopped him from punching more.
"Please Glai, you will kill him. And I don't want you in jail lest be a criminal." I cried desperately.
I was relieved when she stopped and turned her head on me.
In before I know it, I was already crying in her arms while she's hugging me so tight.
"Shhh ... everything's gonna be fine. He can't hurt you again. I won't let it happen, not ever again." She said while gently caressing my hair.
Her soothing words warms my heart and somehow made me feel more secured.
I know she will give her life for me in a heartbeat and I'm more than sure that she will not let Jayson get away from all of this. I know her and I know she will use all her money and power for him to rot in jail.
Serves him just right!
I never think for one moment that he is a beast personified. To think that I entrusted my life and my kid's life to him.
Hindi ko akalain na magagawa nya ang bagay na yun sa'kin. He insisted himself on me and for that I can already sue him for rape.
He's a motherfucker bastard! And I hope I will never get to see his face ever again.
That same day Jayson got arrested. The authorities brought him to the hospital and Glaiza was the one who filed a complaint on my behalf because I was still in shock.
I felt so drained ... not only physically but also emotionally.
Yes, nothing really happened between me and Jayson except for a few kisses but I still felt battered and abused.
Kung hindi ko lang inisip na magiging kriminal si Glaiza ay baka hinayaan ko nang mamatay sya.
I really wish he will go to hell and never came back!
I'm just thankful that Glaiza was always beside me, giving me all the love and security that I badly needed. I can't imagine facing all these fears and terror without her on my side ... without her loving support.
After a few weeks, I was already fully recovered from that fatal incident.
I was ready to be a Mom again and to finally be a loving wife to my hubby.
And now, after six long years ... I'm going back home. We're going back to where it all started ... with our beautiful twins ofcourse. And I'm pretty much excited.
"You happy?" Glaiza asked, holding my hand and squeezing it so gently. Overflowing love was written all over her gorgeous face while we're sitting right next to each other inside her private jet.
I smiled and gave her a peck on the lips.
"Very. I love you Glaiza De Castro."
She bit her lower lip and smiled sweetly.
"I love you too Mrs. De Castro, now and for keeps."
I giggled and put my head on her shoulder contentedly as we both stared at our kids who's sleeping soundly infront of us.
I know there's a lot of things to be done for us to be called a good parent but I know also that we will die trying if only for our kids to have a bright future.
And as to our relationship as a married couple ... well, we're still not perfect. But as long as we're together I know everything will be perfect.
