Jenna gives me a nervous side eye, as the tailor takes her measurements. She told her what she wants her gown to look like and Taylor promised us, that she will be going by what she imagines.

"We're finished," the tailor announces.

"When is the dress done?" Jenna questions with a stern voice. "I don't mean to rush," she adds.

"In about a week,"

"Good," we have time anyway. I get thrown out of my thoughts as Taylor's loud phone rings. I look at her, she hesitantly picks up.

"Excuse me," she murmurs in our direction and disappears. My ears are trying pick up what she is saying, but I can't hear anything.

"Now we can lay back and relax," Jenna sighs.

"Yeah," I sit down next to her, but my body won't allow me to relax. I just want to know who Taylor is talking to.

"What?"

"Nothing," I reply, Jenna rolling her eyes.

"Is it because of Taylor?"

"No," I say and try to act like I am busy with counting the dots on my blouse.

"That's one horrible blouse," she lets me know and I only roll my eyes. No matter what I wear, Jenna ends up hating it.

"She acknowledges you as her girlfriend,"

"I know," I shortly answer.

"You don't seem happy?"

"What do you want me to do? Get up and jump around?"

"Yeah exactly!" I huff. The only reason I am being so nosy what Taylor is doing, is because of that look she had on her face, when she read the name on her phone screen. Jenna won't understand, she is way into planing her wedding. A point in a relationship, where you are sure that it is going to work. At least for Jenna and Kellan.

"Cas-"

"Jenna can you please stop?" I cut her off and get up. Right at the moment where I wanted to go to the kitchen, Taylor comes back with stress written all over her face.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah yeah," she says and gives me a forced smile. I look at Jenna who obviously has no clue. I am aware that Taylor has an issue, but she has too much pride to ask me for help.

"Taylor,"

"What?"

"Can we talk,"

"We don't have to talk. I mean about what?" She adds a smile to make her seem less annoyed.

"Okay, if you say so. You don't need to talk to your girlfriend," I look at my friend, "Come on Jenna let's go,"

"Why?"

"Can we just leave?"

"I don't see what your problem is now Cassie," Taylor hisses.

"Nothing is my problem. I'm fine obviously,"

"I was going to make us something to eat,"

"We can grab something at a diner,"

"I think eating here would be even better," Jenna says and stays on her seat. I throw her a furious look, then turn back to Taylor.

"Please stay Cassie, we can talk later," I roll my eyes and sit back down.

"What was that?" Jenna questions as soon Taylor disappears in the kitchen.

"Nothing,"

"Is it the fact that she won't tell you about the phone call?" Jenna raises a brow, giving me a light hearted motherly look.

"You and Kellan tell each other everything don't you?" She lingers before she finally answers.

"No, actually not. I told you many things that he has no clue about," she nudges me playfully on the side. "There is a difference between a lover an a friend,"

"Is there? Because I hear people say their lovers are like their friend,"

"True that. But you are more like my sister you know?" A faint smile forms on my face.

"Maybe Taylor will tell you. Maybe she won't. But you shouldn't be too concerned about it and pick up a fight. It will only make things worse," As always Jenna is right.

"I guess you are right,"

"You guess?" She smiles and I shake my head.

"No I am sure that you're right," I give her a hug. "I'll go check on Taylor," I let her know and get up, steering in the direction of the kitchen.

"Hey you," I lean on the door frame. Her head snatches in my direction, her loose curls dangling.

"Hi," she looks back at her utensils.

"You need help?" She huffs and nods lightly.

"I look desperate don't I?" She kind of laughs.

"Just a little," I stand next to her and help her. "I'm sorry because of earlier,"

"It's okay Cassie," she smiles at me and I give her a light peck on her lips.

"I was just concerned, you seemed worried,"

"I'm not, I'm okay," she tries to assure me, but her body language says something else.

"You know, you don't have to- just forget it," I tell. Her eyes connect with mine as I shortly look up at her.

"I am okay," I stop before I go any further into this conversation.

"Taylor?"

"Hm?" She hums in response.

"I- Jenna found a picture of you and an older man. When you were little," Taylor freezes in her spot.

"You were snooping around?"

"She found it!"

"Why did you let her find it?!" My eyes tear open as her voice raises.

"Calm down okay? What's the matter with the photograph?"

"I don't want anyone to see it," she says her voice coming out a little vulnerable.

"Why?" I hold on to her hand. She backs up and sits down on a stool. I sit down next to her, without taking my eyes from her.

"Tell me Taylor," I whisper. She hastily shakes her head, a pool of tears filling her eyes.

"Taylor,"

"I don't like to talk about that," she looks up, trying to hold back any more tears.

"You don't have to," I say and take her hand. "You don't," she nods and gets up, going back to where she'd left.
The door swings open, Jenna humming a song.

"Need a hand?" I gesture her to stay silent, her face looking startled. She looks at Taylor then at me.

"Oh, I think I should leave,"

"No just suit yourself Jen, we're fine," I say. I take her arm and walk out of the kitchen.

"We shouldn't have took her pictures,"

"Wh- I'm sorry about that," she looks at the door behind me. "Why?"

"I tried to mention the picture with the man, but she reacted pretty sensitive to it,"

"Oh," Jenna rubs my arm gently. "Sorry,"

"It's okay. I'm not trying to make you feel bad," Damn it! This whole situation is bad. I am not even in the mood to talk to anyone, I feel so guilty.

"Do you think that Taylor changed?" My lips form a line as I question Jenna.

"What do you mean by that?" I sigh.

"She seems different from when I met her. She is more reserved than before," I try to put it into right words.

"You know her better than me, I can't judge," she has a point. Maybe I'm just interpreting something wrong.

"Anyway, I'll head back to work. Would you set the dinner table?" Jenna nods and follows me to the kitchen.
