POV LAUREN
It had been eight days since I saw or talked to Camila, After the most amazing day the night ended so bad. I didn't get to talk to her about our plans because Shawn was home early. She had tried to contact me but I ignored her every time. I didn't know how to deal with this, I didn't want her to risk her future or her families future just to be with me.
Dinah was going to pick her up today so we could all hangout. It had been a quiet week at home, Dinah and Normani were on cloud 9 always talking about their wedding plans. They had ask Ally to marry them and our short friend had immediately agreed, I was Normani's maid of honor and of course Camila was Dinah's. I was more than happy for my two best friends but my internal turmoil didn't allow me to fully enjoy all this blessings around me.
"You okay?" I heard Normani ask taking a seat next to me on the couch. Dinah was with Camila and they would be home any minute which only increased my nerves.
"Just thinking" I replied grabbing her hand. She gave me a shy smile.
"Everything will be okay Lauren, Can I be honest with you?" she asked and I just nodded.
"You and Camila have something very special. Your love was only made for true soulmates, the way you guys connected so fast was just incredible" she said looking at me making sure I was okay with where this conversation was going, I was.
"We all noticed it on the first few days and then you realized how special your connection was. I have never seen you this torn apart but also this happy. After all this years of knowing you you just have a different glow and the love you have for each other could never die even if you are apart" she kept talking giving my hand a slight squeeze.
"Never give up on love Lo, No matter how hard it gets because once you find the real thing it's so hard trying to get something even close to that love, Just stay strong babe. Be patient, Okay? Everything will be fine. You'll see" Normani finished talking giving my cheek a kiss as Dinah and Camila walked in the door.
"Whoah whoah! Take your hands off my woman" Dinah yelled laughing.
"She's the one all over me" I said back gaining a playful push from my best friend.
"We were just talking babe, plus she doesn't have what you have" Normani said whispering something on Dinah's ear. Dinah made a mischievous smile an arched an eyebrow.
"Well, We'll be back" Is all she said before pulling Normani by her arm and inside their room.
I couldn't help but laugh and forgot Camila was even there. She looked at me shyly, the air got tense.
"Hey" I said shyly as I approached her. We embraced in a long hug. I missed her body close to mine, I missed the smell of her hair and the way her breathing syncs with mine.
I missed Camila.
"Hey babe" she said looking up at me as she put her hands around my neck and pulled me down to finally seal our lips in a tender kiss.
"I missed you so much" she said letting go of me and taking me by my hand as we sat on the couch.
"I was a douche" I said looking down at our entwined hands.
"You weren't. I know this is hard and I am so sorry for Shawn interrupting us like that. I just want you to know nothing has changed. Nothing" She said giving my hand little kisses.
"Nothing has changed on my end either. But I do still believe that you should just st.." She interrupted me before I could finish.
"I know. I just can't Lo. I cannot handle cheating on him anymore. He doesn't deserve it and I cant let you go. I just cant" tears started streaming down both our faces. Why did love have to be so hard?
"I don't know what's right anymore" I said staring into her glazed brown eyes, We were both in tears.
"This this is right" she said pointing between her and me. "This" she said placing my hand over her heart. "Beats only for you, I am getting that divorce even if you don't want to be with me." She surprised me with those words. How could she think I didn't want to be with her?
"Camila, All I want in this life is to wake up next to you. I want to have your babies, I want you to have mine, I want to get married and get a little house with a huge backyard and adopt hundreds of dogs." I said really staring at her so she knew I was serious about me wanting a future with her.
"We can name our first dog, Fish" she said, making me laugh.
"You have a name for our dog but not for our first child?" I asked giggling.
"Of course, Fish is going to be our first baby. If he survives then we can plan for our kids" she said laughing the mood had immediately changed and we became more relaxed.
"You are something else Camila." I said giving her kisses all over her beautiful face. Our tears had dried up and I decided to just enjoy my day with Camila.
"How about we go to the beach?" I asked immediately getting a smile from my girlfriend, she loved going to the ocean, she said that that was the only place that understood her.
Camila had a way of thinking and explaining her feelings that no one else had, she was so deep and intelligent I loved listening to her talk even about the simplest things.
"Let me tell Dinah and Normani so we can all go" she said before getting up and stormed inside our friends room to only get yelled by Dinah who was completely naked. I couldn't help but laugh at Normani's embarrassed face.

"It is hot as balls" Dinah said as we set up at the beach. It was pretty hot and the place was kind of packed. We got a few snacks and boxes of pizza before arriving. Dinah said sex made her extra hungry.
"It really is, We are going to get so tan" Camila said spreading a towel on top of the sand and taking a seat over it, we all did the same and just sat admiring all the other people.
"Dang, She's hot" I heard Dinah say staring at a petite black long hair girl who was laying face down a few people in front of us. Normani looked at Dinah then back at the girl then back at Dinah before slapping Dinah on her arm.
"Babe!" Dinah yelled pulling Normani into a hug.
"No no go with the hot girl" Normani playfully said wiggling out of Dinah's arms.
"She don't have a booty like yours" Is all Dinah said before kissing Normani. Me and Camila just laughed but I couldn't stop staring at the petite stranger her figure seemed familiar, I wish I could see her face.
After that intense morning our day was going perfect, We all swam for a little while. A wave had grabbed Camila by surprise making her drink a lot of salty water and making all of us laugh, Dinah had almost drown when Normani got on top of her for looking at other girls. I was happy just being with Camila and my friends.
"Hey Lauren?" I heard someone ask from behind me. I saw Dinah's eyes grow in surprise as Normani grabbed her by her waist and Camila crossed her arms waiting for me to turn around.
"Keana?" I asked back in a surprise tone.
"Holy shit it is you Laur, You look hot. Come here" the girl said as she embraced me in a hug, I was wet and her body felt warm on mine.
"It's been too long. How are you? What are you doing here?" I asked forgetting about the other girls next to me. Keana had been a childhood friend, When we were really young around 11 she had gifted me my first girl kiss. After that we "dated" in secret always kissing behind closed doors not really understanding what we were really doing because we were so young. In a way she had been my first love but unfortunately she had moved away to New York and I never saw her again or spoke to her, That is until now.
"Great I just moved back. I really missed you" She said hugging me once more, I heard someone clear their throat behind me, Camila's eyes were filled with jealousy as I let go of my old friend.
"Oh shit, yeah sorry. Keana I want to introduce you to my friends" I said pointing at each of the girls. "This is Dinah and Normani, They're getting married soon." I said as I saw them hug, Dinah mouthed a "thank you" when she had keana wrapped around her arms making me laugh.
"And this little one is Camila" I said pointing at the girl who made a "wtf" face.
"Nice to meet you Camila" Keana said embracing her in a hug, Camila's look was not a happy look.
"We should hangout" I heard keana say as she let go of my girlfriend.
"Definitely." I said a little less excited because I knew Camila would lose her shit if I said something else.
"Give me your number and I'll text you tonight so we can all meet up" I nodded and gave her my number as I felt Camila's eyes on me, I gulped hard.
"Okay see you soon then" keana said as she hugged me and waved goodbye to my friends.
"What the fuck just happened?" I heard Dinah ask as we all walked back to our stuff to get ready to leave.
"What do you mean?" I asked grabbing my stuff.
"Who was that?" I heard Camila ask.
"Yeah, I had never seen her before" I heard Normani ask, Normani had been my friend since we were on our mothers stomachs but I never introduced her to keana before because she was my little secret.
"Old friend" Is all I said.
"Seemed more like an old friend, and you introduced me as "little one" I heard Camila's angry voice say.
"Gotta go" I heard Dinah say before taking Normani with her who only gave me a sympathetic smile.
"I didn't mean it like that, I was just surprised to see her. I'll let her know you are my girlfriend when we see her tonight" I said, Camila looked at me attentive before taking a deep breath.
"So you are going to see her?" She asked upset.
"Babe she's an old friend" I said grabbing Camila by her arm who yanked it away.
"It really did not seem that way. Was she really an old friend or something else? Plus she's hot and the way she hugged you. I didn't like that at all, She was all over you" I heard my jealous girlfriend say.
"Can we talk about it when we get home?" I asked trying to give her time to just relax to not make this a big deal when it wasn't, she nodded and we walked towards the car where Normani and Dinah were waiting for us.

"First love, First love is not the same as "old friend" Lauren" Camila said angrily pacing around the room, I had told Camila my history with Keana as soon as we got home. Normani was more surprised and a little sad that I never told her about my history with the girl.
"Why didn't you tell me before?" I heard my best friend ask.
"Because I wasn't sure if you would be okay with me liking girls, We were so young Mani I was scared. I'm sorry." I said looking at my friend, she just nodded. Normani always understood me she was an unconditional friend and she never turned her back on me.
"She's really hot Lo" I heard Dinah say, Camila's eyes widened in anger.
"Thanks Dinah" I said.
"Look Mila I don't know why you're making a big deal. So what if they dated when they were 5 or 11, She's with you now. Plus no one can be compared to your dorky self. Lighten up" Dinah said trying to help me out.
Camila just stared at Dinah and Normani then back at me. I didn't know this would affect her so much, Keana was my past and I hadn't seen her in such a long time. Camila was my present and my future.
"Can you girls leave us alone for a while?" I saw Camila turn to Normani and Dinah who nodded giving me a sympathetic smile before they left the house.
We stood in silence for what seemed for forever.
"I think we need some time apart to think." I heard her say, my heart stopped and my palms got sweaty.
"Wh-what?" is all I managed to say in a shaky voice.
"I just think we need to really think about this. Like is this really what we want? It's not because of keana but I feel like we don't know that much about each other now" Camila kept talking making me feel lightheaded. "I need time Lauren".
"What do you mean we don't know each other Camila? Are you fucking kidding me? You know everything about me and now I'm sure I know everything about you. I never talked about Keana because it was such a long time ago. I love you Camila." I talked fast before my voice got shakier. I could feel tears starting to form in my eyes.
"Lauren keana is not the reason I just think we need time. Please." Camila kept insisting I didn't understand what was going on in her mind.
"Do you love Shawn?" I asked.
"No Lauren. I don't. But understand my family is at risk and I'm just scared" Camila finally admitted her reason of this absurd abrupt.
"Babe don't be scared I promise you I will never leave you alone. You wont face this alone I have your back and I love you so much Camila. I want to have a future with you get a dog and name him 'fish' just liked you want to. Don't do this." I said grabbing Camila and embracing her in a hug. Her arms wrapped around me tight.
"I love you so much it hurts." She whispered.
"Look lets just go out tonight, relax get drunk and enjoy each other. Yeah?" I asked.
"You really want to hangout with Keana right?" Camila asked upset. Shit I messed everything up but I did want to see my old friend.
"Camila, Please. She's an old friend, don't get jealous. I love you and only you like I just can't even imagine loving someone else. It's either you or I die alone" I joked around a little gaining a smile from my girl.
"Fine but if she flirts with you imma slap a bitch" Camila joked back making both of us laugh.
We called Normani and Dinah letting them know about our plan tonight. We had decided on going to a gay club since we felt more comfortable there and the couple agreed. I then called Keana which was more than excited to hangout with me again. This was going to be a great night.

"This place looks gayer than the one we usually go to" Dinah said as we entered the club that was really packed. She was right there were a lot more people here who were not scared of expressing their sexuality, I loved it.
"She's over there" I said pointing at the middle of the club were Keana was sitting with a few friends.
"Laurenza!" Keana yelled embracing me in a hug I could smell a little bit of liquor.
"Keke so glad to see you again" I said hugging her back. I felt Camila's eyes on me.
"We're getting some shots" Normani said before walking away with Dinah.
"Oh Keke this is Camila" I said again.
"Yeah I met her at the beach you dork. Hi Camila" Keana said embracing her in a hug.
"Yeah she forgot to mention I was her girlfriend" I heard Camila say letting go of Keana.
Keana made a surprised expression and I just needed a drink.
"Oh well lucky you" Keana said winking at Camila.
"Very" Camila said giving me a peck on my lips. I just smiled awkwardly and thankfully Dinah had brought a tray of shots with her, I grabbed three taking them like water. The hard liquor burning as it went down my throat but it felt good.
"Whoah slow down there tiger" Normani said laughing.
We all sat with the rest of Keana's friends. The night was going great we were all drinking, different conversations going around the table. Normani and Dinah were talking about their wedding getting "aww's" from everyone. They were glowing tonight.
"Lauren?" I heard a familiar voice. You got to be shitting me I thought.
"Lucy" I said looking at Camila who had the same what the fuck face as me.
"What a surprise. I haven't seen you since you broke my heart" Lucy slurred I knew how she got when she had had too many drinks and this was not going to be a good night.
"You dated her to?" Keana asked staring at me Camila then back at Lucy.
"Oh she did, but then left me for this" Lucy said pointing at Camila who got up and I immediately grabbed her by her arm making her stop.
"Drama" Dinah yelled, She was so drunk. I rolled my eyes, how unlucky was I to have two of my exes here and my girlfriend.
" We better get going" I said getting up.
"But why? The fun is barely getting started." Lucy said grabbing me by my waist and putting her lips on mine. I immediately pushed her away.
"What the fuck?" I said as I felt Camila push by me and slap Lucy.
Everyone stood quiet, It felt like hours had passed by.
I grabbed Camila and basically carried her out the club.
"What is wrong with her?" My feisty girlfriend ask, I just pulled her in a kiss.
"That was so hot" I said between our kisses, she just smiled and I was so happy she wasn't upset.
"She was so drunk. But if she ever does that again. I'll kill her" Camila said mischievously.
"No need babe. Thanks for defending me. I almost got raped, you gotta take care of me" I joked grabbing her by her waist as I pulled her closer to me.
We were kissing outside the club waiting for Dinah and Normani to get their drunk asses out here. I had Camila by her waist and her arms were around my neck. I was so happy after this crazy night being in Camila's arms was my favorite place to be.
"Camila what the fuck" I heard someone yell.
Camila's expression was as if she had seen a ghost, She let go of me.
I turned around and just like her I felt my soul leave my body.

A/N: Sorry guys I've been so busy I couldn't update. This is a whatever chapter but I promise the next one is going to be intense and full of drama.
