The little girl sat in her father's embrace for a further few hours. Her tears had long subsided however her heart still ached. She couldn't help but wonder if this was how her father felt every time he thought of her mother. Was that why he cried every time he thought of him?
The pair sat in silence ,each engrossed in their own thoughts. Each thinking of the same person. One thinking how it would be like if Naruto was still alive to live his life with his family. The other thinking how it would've been like if he was present in her life.
"Daddy?" Her fragile voice pulled Sasuke out of his brooding thoughts.
"Hm?" He hummed lightly ,his seemingly empty eyes catching sight of big innocent ones that was so full of life.
"Why did you and mommy name me Kimiko ? I remember Uncle Shikamru telling me that everyones name has a meaning to it and a reason why they were named that name. What does your name mean ?" She asked ,she wanted to know more about her mother,every single detail she had to know.
"My name ? Well my mother,your grandmother ,named me after the third Hokage's father. Sasuke Sarutobi. But it means help or assistance, I guess she wanted me to grow up to be a ninja that contributes to this village and lend a helping hand to whoever that is in need." Sasuke explained ,running his fingers through her hair as he spoke.
Then he looked down at his daughter whom was laying on his lap looking right back at him.
"Your mother and I thought through a lot of names before we settled for Kimiko. A beautiful name don't you think?" He asked ,a chuckle slipping past his lips.
"Mm!" The little girl nodded in agreement as she snuggled closer to her father ,listening intently to every word he spoke.
"So daddy, what does my name mean ? Why did you and mommy pick that name?"
"Ah..well.. "Sasuke thought out loud , running his hand through his hair before looking down at her with a slight smile pulling at the corners of his lips ,"It's quite a story."

"So what are you going to call your bundle of joy?" The rosette asked ,looking up from her clipboard to look at the new parents.
Her heart warmed at the sight of Naruto cradling the baby in his arms and Sasuke hunched over protectively as he cooed at the little raven swaddled in her blanket.
The pair had yet to name their child ,being caught up during Naruto's pregnancy and basking in the joy as new parents ,thinking of names had totally slipped their minds.
Neither of the two heard her question ,being all caught up in their own little bubble. Sakura smiled. She couldn't get mad at them like she would considering how adorable the sight was before her. She knew that all the two ever wanted was here; a family they could call theirs.
"Sasuke," she called ,causing him to finally break his gaze from his daughter for the first time since she was born.
"Hm?"
"Have you two thought of a name for her?" She asked again ,patiently with a smile.
"Keiko"
"Emiko"
Both parents spoke up at once ,giving different names. Then they both turned their head to look at one another ,giving the other party a dirty look. If looks could kill ,both of them would have shrivelled and died at that point.
"Emiko!" Naruto argued before Sasuke could speak , a slight frown creasing his forehead as they continued to glare at one another ,their pride causing them to not back down.
"Keiko." His husband bit back ,crossing his arms as he leaned back in his chair just as insistent about the name he wanted for their daughter.
Sakura couldn't help but chuckle a little ,it was almost as if they had travelled back in time and she was observing the two bickering back and forth again about the most ridiculous things and giving each other the glares they were each giving now.
"Kei meaning celebrate ,lucky and blessed. We're celebrating our daughter's life , we're lucky and blessed to have her. She will be a blessed child. Keiko. " Sasuke spoke up again ,stating his point rationally as he tried to convince Naruto.
"Oh yeah? Emiko meaning a child graced with beauty, smiling child. Look at her ,isn't she beautiful Sasuke ? Won't we want her to be happy and smiling with no worries in the world ?" Naruto countered back childishly as he would ," oh yeah ,did you forget who endured the pain of giving birth to her ? Hmm?" Naruto stuck out his tongue at Sasuke as he cradled the infant closer to him. Naruto could swear if he wasn't holding the child in his arms ,he would've long reach out to grab a hand full of Sasuke's hair and pull it all off.
Sasuke huffed in disbelief in both amusement and slight;very slight annoyance.
"But--" he tried to argue back before being cut off by a whining Naruto whom was looking at Sakura with pitiful dog eyes.
"Sakura-chaaan ,help me!" He whined ,looking at Sakura as a mediator to help him win this little bickering match.
The pink haired doctor looked back at forth between the two parents and shook her head. Some things just don't change ,although they were adults and parents to a young girl ,they still bickered like how they did when they were twelve.
"Maa maa ,just compromise won't you? " she suggested ,a drop of sweat rolling down her forehead as she grimaced at the absurdity of the situation.
"No." The blonde protested against her idea.
Sasuke on the other hand rolled his eyes ,"Is a Hokage this selfish and can't compromise?" He joked flatly ,raising a eyebrow at Naruto.
"N-no! I can compromise! So what's your suggestion!" Naruto stumbled over his words as he furiously denied Sasuke's statement.
'There we go' Sasuke thought as he unfolded his arms. Naruto had always liked to prove people wrong and Sasuke just knew what to say to make Naruto agree to everything. Quite a skill that Sasuke was proud of and very handy when he wanted to do things his way.
"Kimiko." He suggested as a matter of fact ,his eyes couldn't help but gravitate towards the infant in Naruto's arms. He was smitten with the child.
"Valuable, beautiful and noble child.." Naruto murmured the meaning of the name under his breath , his signature grin beginning to form on his lips.
"You know Sasuke ,I don't quite feel like ripping out all your hair anymore. I like the name. She's going to grow up to be a beautiful noble women who will be valuable to everyone around her and especially to us. I like the sound of that. " Naruto nodded ,looking down at the infant he cradled.
Sasuke inched closer to the bed as he leaned over ,carefully caressing the infant's cheeks ,refusing to take his eyes off the child.
She definitely was valuable to them. Both of them knew that without a doubt they would lay down their life's for her if there was ever a need to. She was a product of pure love ,pure love between the two.
Sasuke couldn't help but stare at the seemingly perfect infant who lay sleeping in the safety of her mother's arms;totally oblivious to the world around her.
"Kimiko. Uchiha Kimiko. " He confirmed her name quietly ,"I like the sound of that too."

A tinkling laugh rang through the air as the little raven laughed at her father's story of how her name came about. It was all so hilarious to her.
"Funny huh?" Sasuke chuckled along with her as he finished his story. Naruto and him were indeed a mismatched couple but they still worked out. They complemented each other perfectly.
"I hope you grow up to what your mother and I hoped you will be ,Kimiko. " Sasuke started quietly ,stroking the little girl's cheeks as he did on the day they named her.
"I will. I will be what mommy and you hope that I will be. Besides ,mommy would like that too ,right?" She twittered ,grinning as she turned to look at the granite that had her mother name carved upon.
The wind blew at that moment ,rustling the leaves in the trees as it did so ,as if it was agreeing to the little girls statement.

Sorry I've been having a writers block and I've been struggling to put my thoughts into words for this chapter but I hope you throughly enjoyed reading this chapter :) but I do have a question to pose to you guys : Would ya'll like or want me to do like a couple of chapters talking about Naruto's pregnancy ? Like it won't be a flashback from Sasuke but instead kind of like a short little filler of what Life for Sasuke and Naruto was like when Naruto was still alive. It would consist of a few chapters and all. What do y'all think? It'll be really great if y'all commented what y'all think ,it'll be great help !! Thank you so much for everything ! xx
