SYDNEY's POV
Megan squeezed my hand gently as everybody waits for my turn. "I, Sydney Isabelle Laurel..." the moment I said this, I know I am ready to give myself to her. "Vow to love Megan Mackenzie Delafuente for the rest of my life. I vow to cherish her, to love her, to take care of her, to understand her and to support her. I... god I am not prepared." I paused with a nervous chuckle.
"It's okay, love. Just tell me anything that comes out from your mouth." Megan grinned
"I... promise I will stay. I know you will be skeptical but give me this chance to prove you that I will. I will, Megan. I will. I promise to encourage you and to inspire you. I promise I will support you and will always be your number one fan. Uhm... teka wala ako maisip, nawiwindang ako! Haha! I will support you with everything. Sa mga negosyo mo, sa mga hilig mo, sa sports at sa pagluluto. Alam ko hndi ko mapapantayan ang mga die hard fans mo. I will love you through thick and thin, Meg."
"Do you, Megan, take---"
"Yes!" Megan started to be playful
"Do you, Sydney Isabelle Laurel take Megan Delaufente... no law, no papers, to be your lifetime partner?"
"Oh yes, i do." I chuckled
"By the power vested in me... I may now pronounce , WIFE AND WIFE." Dave said with an accent again
Megan held my face between her hands as everybody cheered and asked for a kiss. Megan planted a one soft kiss on my lips.
Everybody gathered under the sea of lantern lights, dancing, drinking champagne and beer.
Megan held my hand, made me turn and pulled my body against hers so she can kiss me again.
She invited me to near the seashore. Nahiga kami sa isang blanket. "Totoo na ba yung promise mo kanina?" She asked as she poured wine on her glass
"Sa tingin mo ba hindi?" I mumbled
"I'm just trying to make sure, love." She chuckled.
"So, aren't you going to take me somewhere we could be alone. You know, just the two of us? Somewhere I could surrender myself to you?" I asked, almost a whisper. Masama bang akitin ko ang minamahal ko? Haha!
"Sydney, maaga pa. Wag kang excited." She mumbled
"Oo na."
Bigla kong narinig na sumigaw si River. Pagkatingin ko, nag hahabulan sila nila Ian at mukhang may kalokohan nanaman.
"So, sasama ka na talaga sa akin sa Goodyear someday?" Megan asked
"I lied, Megan." I said. That made her gaze at me with a straight face. "I mean, partly I did. Kaya nawala ako nung isang araw kasi I drove to Goodyear. I looked for my tita who works at Saint Martin. Nag apply ako at volunteer nurse ako sa hospital for three months. Pero yeah, since may lisensya na ako. I can start next month." I smiled
Megan drew her a smile. A smile of excitment she hardly gets. "Sasama ka sa akin?"
"Oo nga, Meg."

Megan and I helped our friends crawl back to bed. Everybody's wasted. May nag rerecite na nga ng panatang makabayan eh.
Megan ran to Nika's room right now. "Sydney, we have to leave early."
"Meg, it's 3am in the morning." I said. "Are you okay?"
"Sydney, it's Taliah. She's gone."

2months before I could start working as a volunteer, mom already allowed me to move in to Megan's.
There were more improvements when Australia and I entered the house. Papalapit si Megan para halikan sa noo kaso tinulak ko sya.
"Hindi mo ako sinundo. Aries is not around. Nag drive ako for how many hours. Get me a glass of water!" Sabi ko
Pagbalik nya ay may bitbit syang bowl ng aso. "Australia, I bought you new bowls oh! Naka print pa pangalan mo."
"Meeeeeg! Ako? Nauuhaw ako! Di mo ako kukuhanan ng tubig?" Naiiyak kong sabi
She chuckled. "Ooops. Almost forgot. Wait lang." She walked back to the fridge and got me a bottle of water. Wow sosyal.
"Gutom ka na ba?" She asked. "Hindi pa tapos yung niluluto ko eh. I was also making lasagna."
"Hindi pa naman. Can I go to the living room for an hour? Hihiga lang ako. I feel... tired." I said
"Sure." Megan walked me to the living room and helped me with the couch.
"Stay here, kuha lang ako ng unan sa kwarto." She said. Bumalik sya after a minute with an extra shirt.
"Hindi kita gigisingin muna, ha? Magluluto muna ako at tatabihan nalang kita mamaya. Hintayin nalang kitang magising." She said.
"Okay, Meg."
Nagising nalang ako nung 6pm na. Medyo mahaba ang tulog ko. Nasa tabi ko pa din si Megan, nakasandal sa dulo ng couch at nanunuod ng TV.
"Meg," I yawned. Megan moved closer to me.
"Gutom ka na ba?"
I just nodded.
Megan turned the tv off and walked back to the kitchen. Sinundan ko sya after 5mins. "You need help?" I asked her
"Naah, okay na to. Dinner na tayo, Syd. Let's go." She helped me with my seat and with my plate.
Nung malapit ng matapos ang dinner ay biglang iniwan ni Meg ang fork at spoon sa plate nya. Her hands are under the table. "Sydney, may... may sasabihin ako. Sana wag kang magagalit."
Binitawan ko ang fork at napatago ang mga kamay ko sa ilalim din ng lamesa.
"Alam mo naman na... Taliah is a good friend of mine and I owe her a lot for my dream house, dba?" She mumbled
Nacoconfused ako. At the same time kinakabahan. Mga dalawang buwan na din na patay si Taliah. "She asked me something before she died at nag agree ako sa hiling nya." she bit her lip
Kinakabahan ako.
"Taliah has a child. A ten month old baby and... Taliah and I... decided to uhm... you know, I will adopt the baby pag namatay sya. May petition na at once na approved na, mapupunta na sya sa kustodiya ko. At... titira sya dito?" She apologetically smiled.
Bigla akong naconfused na natawa. "Meg? Nag isip ka ba before ka nag decided? Nasan ba pamilya ni Taliah? Nasaan ang tatay?"
"Matagal ng patay ang parents ni Taliah. Nasa states ang mga kapatid nya. Yung tatay? Wag mo ng hanapin dahil hndi safe ang bata don. Uhm, nagisip ako... after yung paguusap namin. Medyo mabilis ang pangyayari. I was already freaking out. Namention na sakin to ni Taliah nung medyo okay pa sya pero... napa Oo ako bigla nung naka life support na sya."
"Maaawain ka pala eh." I chuckled. "Kaya mo bang panindigan yung desisyon mo? O yang pinasok mong sitwasyon?"
