Chapter sixty nine.

EMMA’S POV:
I feel home in Harry’s arms, I feel safe, I feel warm, I feel loved. I feel everything I want but I’m not sure if it’s what I need.
‘’I should probably tell Louis I’m staying’’ I mumble into his chest his arms still tightly locked around my waist.
‘’Louis?’’
‘’Yeah he drove me here, he’s waiting to take me back to his’’ I explain as my hand ran absentmindedly up and down his back.
Harry shivers beneath my touch causing me to stop, I hadn’t even realised what I was doing.
‘’So you really are staying?’’ he asks releasing me a little so I can look up at him.
‘’Yeah I’m not saying everything’s fixed because it’s not but you’re right I need you right now’’ I say quietly as I head to the door.
Glancing back I see his face looks hurt and worried maybe he really didn’t mean to mess it all up.
‘’didn’t he even let you in?’’ Louis says leaning against the car as he motions to my empty hands.
‘’No he did’’ I mutter.
‘’Well where’s your stuff?’’
‘’I’m staying’’ I say nervous of his reaction.
‘’Really he’s forgiven?’’
‘’No not yet but I really need him tonight Lou’’
‘’I know love’’ he says leaning over to kiss my head.
‘’Thank you for everything’’ I smile.
‘’More than welcome, I’ll see you tomorrow can’t wait for you do give me tattoo’’ he says climbing into the car.
‘’Yeah see you then’’
When I open the door to the apartment Harry’s eyes shoot up instantly as a massive smile spreads across my face.
‘’I didn’t think you’d come back’’ he says his voice full of excitement.
I laugh a little sinking into the sofa beside him.
‘’I’m so sorry baby’’ he mutters after about 10 minutes of silence, the silence was comfortable though I was just the two of us cuddling.
‘’Not now Harry’’ I sigh.
‘’But I just want to explain’’ He insists.
‘’No not now I just need you not the drama that comes along with you’’ I say meaning it half as a joke and half serious.
Harry nods wrapping me a little tighter within his arms as he pulls the throw over our bodies kissing my shoulder as he does so.

I wake up to a faint stream of sunlight smiling a little as I take in everything, todays the day I open the shop, todays the day I make a change, today I’ve woken up beside Harry.
Harry’s arm locks my body to his as our legs intertwine our bodies even more so.
His sleepy breaths fan over my shoulder as his head is rested on the crook of my neck, his soft curls tickling a little, his long eyelashes brushing against my skin. These little things seem more and more perfect every day going just one night without them made me realise just how much they meant.
Although I wish I could stay like this forever I really need to get ready, todays a big day.
‘’Harry’’ I murmur instantly regretting it as he stirs and moves away a little.
‘’Morning’’ his voice deep and raspy against my neck.
‘’I need to shower’’ I say pushing Harry’s arm gently prompting him to release me.
‘’Of course’’ he nods sitting up and running his hand through his mess of curls.
Smiling I head to the bathroom pulling off Harry’s t-shirt, which I gladly slept in last night, and step into the shower.
I wash my hair, shave and wash my entire body while trying to push all relationship thoughts to the back of my mind. Today I need to focus on my career once the day is done I can begin to think about where Harry and I stand.
I dry my hair and straighten in allowing it to softly frame my face. Once my hair is set in place with hair spray I move on to makeup, which is pretty much how it always is with a deep red lip today.
I pad over to the closet noticing Harry is no longer in the bed room, he must be having breakfast or something.
I grab the dress I bought a few days ago a slip into it, the deep jade green compliments my now pale skin, I stopped wearing fake tan a couple of weeks ago I’d grown bored of it and decided to embrace my snowman complexion, it also looks amazing against my inked skin showing off some of my most favourite inked designs.
I grab a pair of back Dr. Martens seeing as I don’t want to be working in heels all day my feet would just about drop off if I did.
I then grab my handbag and check my appearance one more time in the mirror before spraying my favourite perfume, daisy by Marc Jacobs.
Today I feel like I’ve made more effort even though I don’t really look any different. I’ve taken more time too considering I got in the shower just under three hours ago.
The shop opens in about two hours so I need to set off soon in order to make sure everything is ready.
I walk into the living room and can’t see Harry anywhere.
After calling his name a couple of times it’s clear he isn’t here.
I need to leave now but have no way of getting there without Harry.
I wait about five minutes before I’m beyond annoyed at him.
The door clicks open and I jump to my feet.
‘’Where the fuck where you I need to leave’’ I shout pushing past him and out of the door.
Harry jogs after me hopping into the lift just before the door shuts.
‘’I know you’re mad and I’m sorry I wasn’t there but honestly it’s for a really good reason’’ he says a little breathless.
‘’I doubt that’’ I huff.
‘’Wait and see’’ he smirks.
His eyes trail over me a smile growing and growing on his face.
‘’How on earth did I end up with someone as amazing as you, you’re beautiful, funny, clever, kind, sexy, I could go on and on’’ he says his voice deep.
‘’You don’t have me’’ I shrug.
That might have sounded harsh but it’s true.

Harry helps me to clean and prepare every possible detail for the shop.
The one thing I haven’t quite done yet is employ extra staff, I have a couple of shop assistants but that’s it.
I would like to employ a piercer too so I can expand the business even more.
‘’Ready baby?’’ Harry asks
‘’Yeah’’ I say as I open the door and wait.
First the only attention the shop gets is from the press, a couple of pictures are taken and I’m interviewed a little.
After about an hour a few customers have arrived most of which either browed around or bought some jewellery.
Right now I’m carefully finishing the first tattoo.
‘’You like it?’’ I ask wiping it up and then wrapping it up.
‘’It’s amazing’’ the girl beams before hopping from the seat as I show her to the till so she can pay.
Harry offers to serve her as another customer is waiting to be seen.
She smiles and laughs at him, she’s obviously flirting not that I blame her, I mean have you seen Harry?
But nevertheless it make me feel sick. Harry however brushes her off and sends her on her way once she’s paid, that I’m thankful for.
A few hours later it’s time to close up for the first time, I provide 10 people with new tattoos three of those being Niall, Louis and Zayn.
‘’Wow’’ I gasp as I shut the door leaning my back against it.
‘’Enjoyed today then?’’ Harry asks as he grabs his coat along with my own.
‘’Yeah’’ I nod smiling at him.
‘’ thank you for today’’ I say as he opens the car door.
‘’It was nothing love’’
‘’Can you take me to Louis’ please?’’ I say half hoping he won’t hear me.
‘’What?’’ oh shit he did hear me.
‘’Well I only stayed because I needed you last night’’ I mutter.
‘’I need you, what about me Em? Or don’t I matter?’’ he snaps.
I sigh not knowing what to say or do.
‘’ I told you already things aren’t fixed’’
‘’Yeah but they’re not going to get fixed if you’re at Louis’ are they?’’ he snaps yet again.
He does have a point. But I’m not going to admit that.
‘’How about I show you why I was out earlier? Then you can go wherever you want our home or Louis’?’’ he asks calmer than he was a few seconds ago.
‘’Fine’’ I mutter.
I doubt whatever excuse he had for being late will make me want to stay.
