"Wake up my love!" I hear a voice say as I feel someone's lips against mine. I groan. I open my eyes and I see Killian. My eyes shot open. I kissed Killian back. I caress his face and then I sit up. "Love what are you doing here?" He caresses my face. "I came back for you." I smiled. I started to cry as I hugged him. He held me tight and boy did I love his hugs. "You're a human?" He nods. "I'm sorry you lost your tail." He shakes his head. He smiles at me and that's when I hear someone in the background. "Emma dear it's time to wake up." I look up and Killian starts to fade. No. I tried to reach out for him but he dissolved. I gasped and that's when I wake up. I open my eyes and it was Robin. I groan. He smiles at me. "It's time to get up beautiful." I throw my pillow at him and he laughs. "Dream killer." He laughs. "You have to go and meet the new recruits." I groan. "And then we have to pick one that will be your knight 24/7 although I already have one in mind." I groan. "Oh and we have to pick the maid that will be helping with the organization of the study." I say as I get up. He smiles. "Even with your hair all crazy you look beautiful." I give him an exaggerated smile and he returns one back. I rub my eyes and I catch him staring at me. I laughed. "Fine you pick the maid and I pick the knight ok?" He nods. "Let's see if you pick the same man I had in mind." I squint my eyes. "Well if I pick a different man I pick our honeymoon destination and if it's the same you pick it." He smiles and nods. "We will meet tonight in the conference hall to show each other who we picked." He smiles. "Sounds good to me." He kisses my forehead and walks out. I get up and I change into a nice dress. I sit on my chair and look at my reflection in the vanity. I put the necklace on and I put my crown on. No matter how hard I try to forget about Killian I can't. Shoot I just dreamt about him. I sighed and took a deep breath. I smiled and walked down to the Knights hall. All the men were there in their knight uniforms. "Ah your highness welcome." I smile at Patrick and nod. "How's it looking captain, will they be good Knights?" He nods. "So I assume you know which one Robin picked right?" He smiles and nods. "Yes it's..." I raise my hand. "No don't tell me, Robin and I are betting to see if we can pick the same one." He smiles and nods. "Men, half of you will come and greet the princess and the other will practice dueling." Everyone nods. "Once you greet the princess you will go and practice dueling." I smile. I stood there and I observed all the men. Most of them are somewhat older but I wanted someone close to my age. Not too young not too old. The men started to come up to me and bow. I would nod at each man. "Good morning your majesty." My heart sank when I heard the voice. He looks up and my eyes shot open. I see those gorgeous blue eyes that I knew oh so well looking back at me and my heart started to race. It was Killian, it was my love. I nod. He walks over to the side and my eyes wandered off to him. The men continued to greet me but my mind and heart were somewhere else. Killian kept looking at me as he was dueling. I wanted to run up to him and hug him. But I couldn't. Wait how is he here? He has legs and is a knight. I shake my head and thought that I was making this all up but no I glance over at the men dueling and there he is. No just when I was learning to live without him he shows up. Oh hell who am I kidding I can't be with another man when Killian is in my heart. After a while all the men finished greeting me and went to duel. I already knew who I was going to pick but I didn't know if it was the right thing to do. I close my eyes and decided that I am going to pick Killian. Patrick comes over and smiles at me. "So have you made your choice?" I smiled. "Indeed I have captain." He smiles. "That man right there." "Killian?" "Is that his name?" He nods as he looks at his clipboard. "Yes his name is Killian Jones." I smile. "So is that the one that my dear fiancée picked?" He laughs and nods. "Yes your majesty Robin picked Killian." I sighed in relief. I was so glad that Robin picked him too so he would not suspect anything. "Killian!" Patrick screams and he comes running. "Yes captain." "It seems that her majesty has picked you to be her knight." He smiled as he grasped his sword. "It will be an honor to serve you your majesty and be your knight." I couldn't help but blush. "Thank you." I said and bowed. "Well Killian follow me, I will now show you the royal estate and Patrick thank you." Patrick bows and touches Killian's shoulder. "She's under your protection now Killian, we are too but it's your duty to always be with her." Killian nods. I start to walk away and Killian follows close behind. I look around to check if the coast was clear. I pulled his arm and pushed him into an empty room. I close the door and lock it. "What are you doing here?" He smiles. "I came for you love." I give him a weird look. He touches my necklace and then kisses me. I groan but then I melt into his lips. I had missed him so much and since I love him it made me enjoy the kiss even more. "I missed you." He said in between breathes. "Me too!" I replied as tears were rolling down my face. He lets go and looks at me and smiles. He pins me against the wall and starts to kiss my neck. Oh my gosh I was so enjoying this. He goes back to my lips and boy was I falling for him again. We let go and he hugs me. After we let go my smile fades. "What's wrong love?" "You're here." His face turns blank. "I came back for you so we can be together." I grabbed his hand and held it tight. "Wait how are you here? Like here here." He laughs. "You mean how do I have legs?" I nod. "Well after I dropped you off on the shore I was taken prisoner and didn't marry Belle." I gasp. "For nearly two months I was locked up and then the mermaid council decided that I was to be banished to mainland forever and if I were to touch ocean water I would turn back into a merman and be killed." I gasp. "Oh my gosh my love, I am so sorry." He smiles. "It's ok I'm just happy to know that you're alive and we can be together." I smiled. "But then again you're still engaged." He says and starts to walk away from me. I sigh. "I'm sorry I just, I had just woken up from being asleep for nearly two months and decided it was best to forget you and start a new life." He turned to me with a hurt look on his face. "So you stopped loving me?" I shake my head. I walk up to him and grabbed his hand. "No I will always love you but I'm in a tight spot, I am to be married in two weeks." Killian sighs. "Well I will love you for the rest of my life and don't worry we will find a way to be together." I nod. He hugs me and I start to cry. "I missed you so much Mister Jones." He laughs and kisses my head and hugs me tighter. "As did I." We let go and he dries my tears. "Well your majesty I believe you are to show me around your palace, correct?" I smile and nod. I get to the door and as I'm about to open he kisses me again. "Killian we have to get back." I say in between breathes. He smiles as he's kissing me. We finally let go and walk out the room and I start the tour.
Regina's POV
Its crazy how Killian and I are here working at the palace. I'm happy to know that I will be seeing him every night since we are allowed to hang out with them since we are the ones that take food to them. I hate the fact that I still have feelings for him but of course he must never know, I wouldn't want to lose his friendship because of it. Well besides that it hasn't been so bad here at the palace. I mean I have a roof over my head, I'm being fed and I've made a new friend. Her name is Mel and she's the best. "So what shall we do tonight?" I look at Mel and shrug. "I don't know I'm still new here, what do you recommend?" She smiles. As she was about to say something Mrs. Hughes walks into the kitchen. "Regina you are to go and clean the Royal study and organize his majesty's books and documents." I look at Mrs. Hughes and nod. "I guess we will have this conversation later." Mel laughs and nods. I grab the basket with all the cleaning supplies and make my way up to the study. As I was walking up I started to get nervous. I haven't seen the prince since the day I bumped into him. I shake my head again and thought to myself that there was no way that there could be something between us. Well first because he's engaged to Killian's lover and second I'm a maid and an ex mermaid. This can't be. I sigh as I enter the study. To my luck no one was in there. I put my basket down and started to clean. I see some books down on the floor and I noticed they were out of place. I grabbed seven of them and I started to walk across the room. I didn't notice that the door had opened so I continued to walk and I bump into someone and the books fall. I gasp. "I am so sorry." I look up at it was Robin. He smiles. "We have to stop meeting like this." I smiled and blushed. I start to pick up the books and he helps me. "Oh your majesty leave it I can pick it up." He smiles and continues to pick up the books. "Thanks." I said as he hands me the last book. "So you stayed and you were picked to clean my father's study?" I stayed quiet as I put the books back on the shelf. "Well then that means you aren't like the other maids." I give him a weird look. "You're educated aren't you?" I nod as I turned around. "Well let's put your sailing skills to the test, please come." He grabs a chair and puts it next to his chair. He takes out some maps of the sea and the sea is something I am all too familiar with. We started to talk about different sailing routes and about sea life and so many other things. We were just laughing and enjoying each other's company. "You're not like other women are you?" I smile. "You have no idea." He's staring at me and boy does my heart start to beat. Even though I still have feelings for Killian I felt like I was falling for Robin. He started to lean in closer to me and I thought to myself, is he really going to kiss me? He closed his eyes and I closed them too. I could feel him getting closer to me. We were but inches away from kissing and that's when we hear a knock. We both jump and I run to the other side of the room. "Yes?" Robin says. The person opens the door and its Mrs. Hughes. "My apologies your majesty, just checking on Regina." Robin nods. "She's doing great; we are almost done." She nods. "Regina once you're done you are to go straight down to the kitchen." I nod. Mrs. Hughes bows and closes the door. Robin laughs. "Well that was close." I laugh and nod. "Regina?" "Yes your majesty?" He smiles. "Would you like to be my official maid/assistant?" My eyes shot open. "Your what?" He smiles. "Yeah I mean would you rather be in the kitchen or in here helping me?" He asks and winks at me. I laugh. "Are you sure? wait you're playing with me right?" He gives me a weird look. "What are you talking about?" "You think that just because I'm a simple maid, you'll have me here on the side like I'm nothing and use me then throw me away." He gasps. "Regina I don't know why but I want to get to know you and I want you to learn more things, when we were talking about the sea there was a sparkle in your eyes that I loved." I couldn't help but smile. "I am so sorry your majesty for the way I snapped at you." He shakes his head. "Don't worry about it I get where your coming from." I nod. "So what do you say?" I smile and nod. "Ok well the good news is that you don't have to wear that, how about you wear a black top with a black skirt?" "I like that, Black is my color." He nods. "Well from now on you're my assistant." I nod. "Come I shall escort you down to the kitchen and let Mrs. Hughes know." I nod. We walk down and we are both quiet. We exchange glances and just giggle at each other. We get to the kitchen. "A word Mrs. Hughes." Robin says and Mrs. Hughes runs over to where we were at. "Your majesty, what's happened, was she not of your liking?" I scoff. "No she was better than that, since I had to pick one of the maids to be my personal assistant/maid I have picked Regina to be mine." The whole kitchen staff gasped including Mel. "So Mrs. Hughes please change her clothes and then send her up." He smiles at me. "I will see you up there ok Regina." I nod. He smiles and walks away. Mrs. Hughes throws me an angry look and walks away. Mel walks over to me. "What the hell happened up there Regina?" I shrug. "I don't know it all just happened so fast, one minute I was cleaning the next he asked me for help on one of his maps and then he asks if I wanted to be his assistant." She smiles. "You are sure lucky Regina, well good luck my friend see you later." I nod. Mrs. Hughes comes back and throws me my new set of clothes. "Change young lady and then go back up with his majesty." I stayed quiet and nod.
Emma's POV
So I told Killian to meet me in the conference hall so I could show Robin who is going to be my 24/7 knight. Killian walks in and my gosh did he look handsome. He looks around and gives me a quick kiss. I hit his arm and smile. "Not here someone can see us." He giggles then gives me a huge smile that I couldn't help but blush. The other door opens and in walks Robin and this black colored hair chick. Killian's face turned pale but I ignored it. "My dear!" Robin says as he walks up to me. "This is Regina, my assistant." I smile. "Your majesty." She quietly says as she bows. "Well Robin this is Killian, the knight I picked." Killian bows. "Your majesty." Robin nods. "Seems that I won." I gasp. "No you did not you picked him?" I said pretending I didn't know anything. He nods. "No fair." I started to laugh and smile and I looked at Killian and he was looking away. I stopped smiling and just stood there. "So it seems that I'm picking our honeymoon destination." I look at Killian and I could totally tell that this was hurting him. I look at Regina and she seemed hurt too. That was oddly suspicious. "Yes it seems that you are picking it." He smiles at me. "Well I have to leave you my dear, I have a lot things to do let's go Regina." Regina bows at me and walks next to Robin. The door closes and Killian is standing there quietly. "I'm sorry love but he doesn't know about us." He nods. "I know your majesty." I pout. I walk over to him. "Don't your majesty me." He looks straight on and ignores me. "I'm sorry love but I don't love him I love you and no one will ever change that." He stays quiet. "How about we go into the town and enjoy each of other's company?" He squints his eyes. "Oh come on forgive me love?" He keeps squinting my eyes. "Not until you kiss me." I laugh. I kiss him and he smiles. "Man I think we've kissed more today than ever before." He smiles. "Well it's because we've missed each other." He hugs me and I nod. "I can't believe you have legs; I miss your blue tail." He smiles. "How you liking the legs?" He sighs. "I sure miss my tail but I see why humans like legs." I smile and hug him. We walk out and make our way into the town.
Regina's POV
We walked back to his study and I started to clean. I was in shock from everything and I could totally tell that Killian was as heartbroken as me. But what did we expect they are engaged after all. Honestly at that moment my feelings for Killian vanished and I was jealous of Emma. I really liked Robin but there's no way we could ever be together. I'm dusting some books and Robin grabs my arm. "You ok?" I look up and his gorgeous eyes were staring down at me. I nod. I stayed looking at him as he was scanning my face and smiling like crazy. I couldn't help it and I plant one on him. He pulls away and I gasp. "I am so sorry your majesty; I don't know..." He interrupts me by kissing me back. His kisses were so passionate and I could totally tell he doesn't feel this with Emma because he wanted more and more. He started to kiss my neck and slowly made his way back to my lips. I had never felt anything like this ever in my life. We let go as we both gasp for air. We stayed there for a minute just quiet. Both pondering on what we had done. "Um your majesty I shall continue tomorrow if that's ok?" He nods. "Regina this was..." "Don't worry about it, good night your majesty." He smiles at me as he sits on his chair. I smile and walk out the door.
Robin's POV
I sit back on my chair as Regina walked out of the study. I have no idea what overcame me. I know she kissed me first but I went on and kissed her back. When I kiss Emma its different, its nothing compared to what I just felt when I kissed Regina. I grab my head and leaned back on my chair. What the hell did I do? Ever since I met Regina days ago, there was something in her that I loved. Oh my gosh what the hell am I doing? I started to go over some papers to try and forget about Regina, but that was the problem I couldn't get her out of my mind.
