The boys had been ignoring Niall since that meeting with Parker. He was hurt, lonely, and started cutting again. He was almost never sober, locked in his room, and the boys hadn't noticed a thing, or the fact that he barely eats or talks. Niall found no reason to do either, but tonight he decided that he was going to a pub to sing one of his new songs he wrote.
Liam was also miserable. When he got home from the meeting, he told the boys that he messed up and they became sympathetic for him. They quickly forgot about how Niall was hurting more. Louis, Zayn, and Harry decided to take Liam to the pub down the street, to watch some of the performances and keep his mind off things.
Grabbing his guitar, Niall made his way to the low stage, and turned to the microphone, just as the boys walked over to watch. They gasped as they saw Niall on stage, announcing he wrote a new song, and took in his ragged appearance. Even though it looked like he tried to clean up, you could see the bags under his tired eyes, and see the hurt etched on his face. Niall didn't notice them, and started playing.
