Prologue
"Chloe!"
I heared my mom barged in to my room. I grabbed my pillow and covered it to my ears. I know that voice too well, she's going to blow me fire.
But i'm too sleepy to care, umagang umaga!
I groaned when she slapped my buttocks. What is that for?!
"Ano na naman itong nabalitaan ko sa dean niyo? You're involved with another trouble again! Tapos nabalitaan ko rin na bagsak ka sa isang subject mo! We're giving you the freedom that you want, ayusin mo naman! And you've been spending too much money at halos maubos na agad ang monthly allowance mo?"
She removed the pillow from my head. I groaned and face her instead. I smile widely.
"Good morning, mom!" i smiled. She sighed heavily.
"You're giving me a headache, Chloe. Kailan ka ba magtitino?"
What? Matino naman ako. Isang subject lang naman iyong naibagsak ko, not because i don't know nothing about that subject, i just hate the professor in that subject kaya ko iyon binagsak! And about the trouble that she mentioned, Nairita kasi ako kay Trixie! she's getting into my nerves, kaya ko siya sinabunutan.
And i am not spending too much! fifty thousand lang naman nagastos ko kahapon!
Bumaba na rin ako after mom scolded me. I brushed my hair first before going down. Sinalubong naman ako ng kapatid ko sa baba na may malalaking ngiti sa labi. I rolled my eyes at him.
"Good morning, lil' sis." he smirked.
"Back off." tinarayan ko siya at nilampasan. I went to the kitchen to eat my breakfast.
Naupo na ako sa upuan at pinahanda na sa mga katulong ang usual na kinakain ko tuwing umaga. Yes! i have certain foods that i ate every morning, that's part of my diet.
Chlay sat across to my chair with a smirk plastered on his face.
"What's with you?" nginiwian ko siya.
"I'm just so happy for you, lil' sis. Another achievement na naman." He chuckled, sarcasm.
"Shut up, monkey." i rolled my eyes at him, he just laughed.
He's way older than me, one year lang naman. He's used with my attitude, magkapatid kami at mas matanda siya pero wala lang naman sakaniya ang pagsusungit at pagtataray ko.
After i ate my breakfast, i went back to my room and took a shower. I love expensive things, kaya pati shampoo at sabon ko ay mamahalin rin. It feel so good to my skin, and smell so good too. Halatang mamahalin.
Matapos ko maligo ay sinuot ko na ang uniform ko. Lahat bagay saakin kahit itong uniform namin, maroon pencil cut skirt and a white blouse and a blazer.
I brushed my long brown hair. I brushed my bangs using my finger.
"Ang ganda ko." i smiled as i stared myself in the mirror.
I am not being narcissistic! i am just being honest.
Wala na si Chlay pagkababa ko, pumasok na rin ata. We go to a same school pero hindi kami nagsasabay pumasok, because i don't want. Pabor rin naman sakaniya iyon because it would be easy for him to lure women using his car. I don't have my own car, ginagamit ko papuntang school ay iyong car ni daddy, but i have a driver and i am not allowed to drive.
"Manong pakilakasan ng AC, thanks." sabi ko, agad naman niyang sinunod.
I brought out my iphone and checked my social media accounts. I'm famous, almost the entire population of the students knew me. I am one of the richest among rich, they know my attitude, kaya madalas akong iwasan ng mga babae sa school. Ang mga guys naman ay halos magkandarapa na kakahabol saakin.
Pinapatulan ko lang kapag type ko pero kapag hindi, he must move away.
Bumaba na ako sa kotse nang makarating sa school. The university i'm in is one of the expensive university here in the Philippines, mahirap makapasok maliban na lang kung katulad nila ako.
"The long wait is finally over!" Hannah yelled.
Ngumisi lang ako at lumapit sakanilang dalawa. My friends, Hannah and Marie. They're names are very common, i don't know why their mom's named them like that.
Anyway, i make beso beso to them.
"Sorry, girls. Kilala niyo naman ako." i smirked.
"Kilalang kilala! kaya nga nasanay na kami sa'yo." inirapan ako ni Hannah.
I faced Marie. "Ikaw? wanna say something?"
"Nothing, wala namang bago sa'yo. I just want ice cream at this moment."
Napairap na lang ako sa sinabi niya. "How childish..."
We went inside the campus and i am used with people staring at us. I can see how some girls rolling their eyes on me, if this is one those days baka pinatulan ko na sila but mom just scolded me a few hours ago, i'm gonna let this pass just for now.
But their stares suddenly went from another person and i can hear the girls and gays shrieking. I don't know why!
Nagtaka na rin ako nang pati si Marie ay tumili na rin. Both Hannah and i stared at her.
"Stop screaming!" i yelled at her, pero wala iyong sigaw ko dahil sa ingay ng mga estudyante.
Their crowding at the entrance, may pinagkakaguluhan sila hindi ko alam kung ano!
"They're finally here!" she screamed.
Napahawak ako sa sentido ko. This fucking annoying me! Hindi na ako nagdalawang isip na sumugod sa nagkukumpulang mga tao. I am fucking curious, alright!
"Excuse me!"
But they seem did not hear me. Okay, this is fucking annoying big time!
I was about to yell at them again but suddenly they moved side ways leaving a big space in between. And group of guys appeared in my sight, and my jaw literally dropped when i saw my brother!
"What the hell..." i uttered.
He's with four handsome guys, their walking as if they are in a runway. The first guy is a chinito, his skin is pale but his lips were so red, parang vampire. The second one, is also handsome but moreno, He's the best example for a tall, dark, and handsome type. The third guy looked playful with his smirk, just like my brother, he looked like a fuckboy with his piercing. And the last guy caught my attention, his emotionless compare to his friends, his blonde and it's weird. He's the most handsome among all of them, but the coldness from his eyes is very not so my type.
Tumigil ang kapatid ko nang makita ako, that's why his friends also stopped. Taka naman nila itong tinapunan ng tingin.
I glared at my brother but he just gave me his awful smirk.
"What the fuck are you doing here?" mariing sambit ko.
"Aww who's she dude? one of the woman you fucked?" wika no'ng lalaking may piercing, agad ko naman ito tinapunan ng masamang tingin.
"What the fuck are you talking about? that's incest, i'm his sister!" bulyaw ko.
Nakangisi pa rin ang kapatid ko saakin. Muli ko siyang binalingan.
"I said what the fuck are you doing here you moron!" i yelled at him.
"Don't call me that i'm still older than you." ngiwi niya, his friends are staring at us.
"Okay, then. What the fuck are you doing here, Kuya?" i said emphasizing every word i uttered.
He just laughed. As usual.
"I transferred obviously, didn't mom tell you about it?" he said nonchalantly.
"I wouldn't be surprised if she told me, common sense nga!" i rolled my eyes.
"Whatever. Anyway, dude. This is my sister, Chloe, and Chloe... these are my friends, Kairo, Priam, Rex and Drexzel." my brother pointing at his friends.
Hindi naman naalis ang mata ko kay blonde guy, did anyone told him about his hair? It's weird.
"Stop staring at him, hindi ka papansinin niyan." at nagtawanan sila.
"As if i care, he's not even my type. He looks weird with his blonde hair." i smirked and crossed my arms together.
I can almost hear everyone's violent reaction. What's wrong about what i said? totoo naman.
Doon na ako tinapunan no'ng blonde guy ng tingin. I suddenly felt a tingling effect on my stomach, his stares are too cold to bear, it's scary.
"Your attitude is weirder." sabi niya at nilampasan ako. Sumunod naman sakaniya ang mga kaibigan niyab except to my brother.
Anong sabi niya! how dare he!
"Lumayo ka na lang sakanila, okay? para walang gulo." he tapped my shoulder and went to his friends.
Unti unti ring nawala ang mga tao but some of the girls are giving me some death glares. To hell with them!
"What just happened?" said Hannah.
"I didn't know na kapatid mo pala si Chlay!" Marie shrieked.
"How the hell did you know my brother?" takang tanong ko.
They seem famous! sino ba ang mga iyon, of course excluding my brother, i know him since birth.
"Banda sila sa kabilang school, and they are freakin' famous with their handsome faces and their oh-so galing na mga performances!"
Bakit hindi ko alam iyon? I didn't know my brother is part of a band.
Sa pag-uwi sa mansion ay agad kong sinugod si Chlay sa kwarto niya. He smirked, i think he expected me to come over him.
"You are in a band and you didn't bother to tell me about it!" i said hysterically.
"Bakit? nagtanong ka ba?"
"Kahit na! I'm oblivious about everything!"
"Kasalanan ko?" he smirked.
I groaned. "Ugh! I so hate you, monkey!"
Lumabas na ako sa room niya, there's no sense talking to him. I have no choice but to bear with him, i'll be seeing him everyday, hindi lang dito sa bahay pati na rin sa school.
Means no freedom for me! he's around, maybe this is mom's way to spy on me.
The next day sabay kami ni Chlay pumasok, labag man sa loob ko but i have too, it's mom's order. I really can't believe this is happening.
"Aww, don't be sad na lil' sis, everything will be fine." he laughed.
Hindi ko na lang siya pinansin, i am so upset with everything!
Hanggang sa pagpasok sa klase ay wala akong gana, i'm fucking frustrated! Naghanap na lang ako ng pagkain ko online, want some milktea and a large box of pizza.
"Ms. Castaniego! did i allow you to use your phone during class?" the old lady said looking so fuming mad.
Here she goes...
"So what?"
"Aba't talagang wala ka paring modo! It doesn't mean that you are one of the richiest studeng here ay sasambahin na kita!" she yelled.
My classmate are staring at me. Habang sina Hannah at Marie ay nagpepretend na walang nangyayari.
"I didn't tell anyone to worship me, duh?" i rolled my eyes.
"Aba't talaga naman-- you are dropped out from my subject!" singhal niya bago lumabas ng classroom.
Everyone is silent, habang ako ay walang pake at nagpatuloy sa paghahanap ng pagkain online.
I am grateful pa nga because finally! no more matandang bugnutin na!
But unfortunately, the old nagger ay nagsumbong sa Dean na naman. Sumbungera! That's why it reached my mom and another serye of sermon na naman.
"You will be the death of me, Chloe! You are grounded."
We're at the mansion now and i can't believe that she said that. She can't ground me!
"And now i'm going to call your dad, and so as your lolo."
At doon nanlaki ang mata ko. Now this is nightmare! Lolo can't be here, once he finds out about my troubles he will surely punish me again.
The last punishment he gave me was i'm grounded for the whole year, no phones, blocked ang mga credit cards ko, no allowance, and that was hell for me!
I don't want that to happen again, i will suffer big time if ever nga na uuwi si lolo. I must do something about this!
