"Sinabi niyang gusto ka niya? weh?. Baka naman nanaginip ka lang?" Kelsey asked her while they're walking inside the mall. Maine can't still recover from RJ's revelation yesterday, and since she heard those words come out of his mouth ... things have never been the same.
"Oo nga, ilang beses ko ba dapat sabihin sa'yo na nandun si Mamita nung sinabi niya yun?. Di ako tulog Kelsey." she answered before letting out a sigh.
"Fine, sayo na si Papa RJ. Pero .... bakit di pa kayo pakasal?"
"Pakasal? agad agad? my gosh Kelsey." she replied, blushing.
"Bakit? Maine, di ba sabi niya gusto ka niya? ... eh gusto mo rin naman siya ... kaya bakit di pa kayo pakasal?"
Maine was going to say something but then two familiar faces approached them. Her heart skipped a beat after seeing their raised eyebrows ... it's their two gossiper female classmates.
Rhea and Cassie are notorious when it comes to collecting rumors. And now that they saw Maine with a baby bump, she's pretty sure the news will reach everyone she's acquainted with.
"Oh my gosh Maine, you're really pregnant huh?. Kaya pala ang bilis mo nawala nung graduation, ayaw mong may makapansin." Rhea told her with a huge smirk on her face.
"Eh ano naman ngayon kung buntis siya?. Kayo talaga nag-graduate na nga tayong lahat ganiyan pa din kayo." Kelsey replied, defending her.
"Oh my gosh, are we even talking to you?" Cassie annoyingly asked her.
"Hoy, ako wala akong panahon para mapag-tsimisan niyong dalawa ah. Tigilan niyo ako." Maine warned the two intrusive girls before pulling Kelsey by the arm away from them.
"Okay! we'll make sure everyone knows!" Rhea yelled.
Maine stopped, turned and walked back to them.
"Do that and I swear I will sue the two of you. Rhea, di ka pa ba nagsasawa? at ikaw naman Cassie? bago ka malunod sa chismis inayos mo man lang sana yung panga mong sobrang laki."
Their conversation caught the attention of the people around them. Maine can feel the weight of their stares and so she backed off and walked away while the two girls are still speechless.
"Best, ano ka ba? Hindi mo naman ako inorient na may pagka-Braguda ka pala." Kelsey whispered.
"Ugh. Umalis na lang tayo, nakakabwisit sila."

RJ wasn't able to sleep properly because of the things he said yesterday. For the first time in his life, his emotions completely took over him in a positive way.
The words he told Maine came from his heart. The past couple of months they spent together changed everything he first saw in her. She's different ... but a good kind of different. And for once, RJ felt like he is on the right path.
The young guy spent years looking for someone that can be his anchor, someone that will pull him back whenever he goes to the edge of craziness, someone that will control him, and finally ... he got that.
A smile appeared on his face while he's looking at their picture. He then heard a knock on the door and so he opened it, only to see Maine 's Dad on the other side.
"Oh, tito ... pasok po." he said right away.
"Uh, hindi na. RJ ... uhhh .... papatulong lang sana ako eh."
"Ano po yun? Tungkol sa kotse? di ba po four months pa bago siya mag birthday?" RJ asked him.
"Hindi yun ... ano kasi .. fiesta na bukas ... magpapatulong sana kami magluto at mag-ayos kung okay lang?"
"Ah ... sure. Sige po, okay lang ... yun lang po ba?"
"Meron pa nga pala."
"Ano po yun?"
"Sinabi ni Miane sakin na nagtapat ka na kaniya. Maganda yun iho , umayos ka na sana huh?"
"Opo naman." he replied with a nervous smile on his face.
"Siguraduhin mong wag kang magloloko ah?. May mapuputol sayo." Mr. Mendoza then warmed him. RJ's heart started pounding once again, the family threats are back on which means he is once again on the chopping block.
Thankfully, the mood went lighter when Maine came into his view.
"Pa?!" she asked and so he turned. After his Baby Mama gave her father a hug and a kiss on the cheek, Maine walked towards him. A part of RJ thought she's going to give a hug too but he's wrong.
"Hi" she awkwardly greeted.
"He ... llo?"
Maine did not say any more word. Instead, she just walk passed him.

"Jusko Maine, umayos ka ... wag kang kiligin." the young girl thought to herself while trying her best to resist his stares. It's been two hours since she got back but still, RJ couldn't keep his eyes off of her.
There's this awkward silence going on between them, it's like they are strangers to each other once again. She can see RJ's mouth open, he was going to say something to break this awful unsettling moment ... but then something else happened.
Her phone started ringing.
"Hello?" she asked right away.
"Maine?"it's from a familiar voice ... Sebastian.
"Oh Seb, bakit?"
"Uh, are you busy today?"
"A bit. Why?" she asked before glancing at RJ. The look on his face says it all, he's annoyed as hell.
"Oh okay. I ... I was just thinking that maybe ... I can bring you to the new restaurant downtown?"
"Umm .... Seb, maybe next time?. RJ and i made plans for the day kasi eh. "
"Sure .... take care, okay?"
"Always, Seb. Don't worry."
"I won't" he answered before the call ended.
"Oh bakit naka-smile ka na parang aso diyan?" she asked RJ after a few moments. He frowned and quickly walked away.
"Asus RJ, for all I know tuwang tuwa ka na hindi ako sumama."
"Pwede ba love? wag ka ngang assuming."
"Ano? Love?"
"Hah? ... di ko alam yung sinsasabi mo" RJ replied before quickly leaving the room. Maine was left behind with a slight smile on her face. She knows there are only a few more walls to break down before she can finally reach RJ's core and who he really is.
"Soon RJ .... soon."

Mamita was at the garden when her attorney walked in.
"Mamita, magandang araw sa inyo!" he greeted.
"Magandang araw din Attorney. Kumusta na?"
"Okay lang naman ako. Eto na pala yung titulo nung magiging bahay ng apo mo." The attorney answered before handing her the document. Mamita took it and immediately thanked him.
"Walang anuman po .. matanong lang ... ano na po yung susunod na mangyayari sa apo niyo at dun sa babaeng nabuntis niya?"
"Alam mo Attorney , kahapon lang nagtapat na yung apo ko sa kaniya. Gusto na niya si Maine .... nakakakilig sobra. Kaya yung susunod naman eh kasal ... kukulitin ko sila hanggang magpakasal sila."

RJ was sitting on a chair at the terrace when his phone started ringing, Rose is calling him.
"Rose?" he asked right away.
"RJ ... you know Amanda right?"
"I do ... wait .. you know her?"
"She's my cousin"
"What?" he asked, feeling his heart drop.
"Anyway ... I called to give you a warning despite the fact that you basically fooled me by saying I can still make things right with Sebastian ... " Rose uttered. RJ remembered what he did to her when she got back, he used her to drive Sebastian away from Maine
"I'm really sorry Rose. Wait .. warn me? about what?"
"Amanda ... she'll be posting a scandal of yours to get back at you"
"What? ugh, that bitch. I will find her. "
