Myles' pov
Once me and Briar went upstairs to pack up our things, I couldn't help but think how good life is right now. I have the most perfect girlfriend ever, we're moving to England which means I'm away from Canada, which means I won't be found by the scientists, which means I won't go back to the lab! This couldn't be better! To top it all off, Briar and I are going to look at the houses once we've finished packing. I can't wait!
Briar's pov
Whilst Myles was packing, I phoned up Mr Smith, the inspector, and tell him that I'm accepting his offer. I phoned him and he said he was so happy! We talked about my uncle and then I remembered seeing him at a Christmas party. So, he wasn't lying! He really is my uncle's friend! He also told me to choose the house by eleven tonight as he could chose any of them by that time and we could move in instantly but if we leave it until after eleven, the house owners will sell them to other people. For the airport information, he got a chaperone for us and he has our tickets. All we have to do is leave by ten in the morning and then we'll be on our flight to England! I can't wait!
When I finished packing, I walk into the living room where I see Myles waiting for me.
"Hey." I say and sit down on the sofa next to him, grabbing my laptop.
"Did you manage to pack ok?" He ask as I switch the laptop on.
"Yes, and you?" I ask, looking at him.
"Yep. We have four hours to choose a house!" He says as I log onto my email.
"I can't wait to see them!" I exclaim, smiling at him.
"Me too!" He says and puts his arm around me.
Soon enough, I get the pictures up and wow! These houses are amazing!
These houses are incredible! How are we supposed to pick just one? Actually, I love them all so I'm going to let Myles choose.
"Myles, you can choose." I say, smiling sweetly.
"Really?" He asks, smiling back at me.
"Really." I reply, giving him a small peck on the lips.
"Thanks Briar. What about the fourth one?" He asks.
"The huge mansion?" I ask with a giggle.
"Hey, you said I could choose." He says.
"True, and I've always wanted to live in a mansion." I say with a smile.
"Yay! You should call Mr Smith and tell him the decision." He says.
"Ok Myles." I say and start calling Me Smith.
Once I finish my conversation on the phone, I high five Myles.
"It's a done deal!" I squeal.
"This is going to be great." He says.
We spent the rest of the evening planning out our morning for tomorrow and cuddling on the sofa.
