Erica's POV
I woke up to myself in a room that looked almost like a hospital but also a living area. I sat up looking for Parker. He was asleep on the floor. I smirked as I swung my feet over the side of the rigid anonymous bed. He must of heard me because he stood up in front of me in an instant.
"No Erica lie back down we're having someone to come check out about your...abilities" he mumbles. I roll my eyes and lay back down. I begin to fiddle with my thumbs when someone busts in through the door.
"Hello I'm Delaney, I'm here to exam Erica." She gave me a polite smile. I forced a smile back not knowing what the hell is going on. Delaney sat me up and grabbed a flashlight. She flashed it in my eye causing my eyes to hurt a bit. I ignored the pain not wanting to sound rude. She then began to check my heart. What is this a freaking check up or some shit? I inhaled and exhaled, I looked up at Parker who kept a concerned look on his face. What's his problem?
"Alright now it's time for the real stuff, I'll be right back" Delaney quickly walked out of the room leaving Parker and I sitting here quietly.
"Listen Parker I am perfectly fin-" I couldn't even finish because Parker cut me off.
"No Erica you aren't fine you literally lifted Bethany up into the air without even touching her. Your eye color goes wild when you're mad and you have an uncontrollable temper! It needs to be checked out." He sighed. I just rolled my eyes and swung my feet back and forth on Delaney walked back in with some goofy looking magical set. I began to chuckle.
"What's that supposed to do for me?" I began to laugh. She gave me a stern look.
"Stay still" She ordered. Delaney then grabbed some type of bracelet and put it onto my wrist she kept looking at my eyes.
"Delaney her eye color again" Parker stated. I stared both of them down wondering what the bracelet is doing. Then I suddenly felt a rush of power come over me. I smirked and tried to stand up before Delaney pushed me back down.
Parker's POV
I watched as Delaney pushed Erica back down into her seat. Erica's angelic side seems to enjoy power as well as her wolf. They like being controlling I should say. But someone could get hurt if they tick Erica off. Her angels temperament isn't very good. Delaney then took the bracelet off of Erica and broke it. Erica's eyes began to go back to the blue color. I wonder what that bracelet had? I looked down and saw that it had silver. Did silver make her powerful? Not sure. I may have to ask.
Then Erica began to frantically look around.
"Kitten what's wrong?" I asked worriedly. She looked at me and then I saw her eyes flash worry.
"I smell them. I hear them" She shouted. I was confused beyond measures, who is the talking about?
"Who love?" I asked calmly.
"The rouges are 2 states away. They're coming with 60 wolves." She stated firmly looking me straight in the eye.
"How do you know that?" I sighed.
Delaney stepped in,"Erica has abilities unlike most wolves, she can hear from 6 states away, she can move faster than most as well as she has enhanced smell. Much more enhanced. She does have telekinetic powers as well, And considering some of her blood is in you, you Parker have that as well it just hasn't developed yet." She smiled.
Wow my mate is a fucking badass. And I'll be along side of her with the same abilities soon enough. I smirked at the thought. Now back to focusing on Rouges.
"Erica which way are they coming from?" I forcefully asked. She blinked a few times before saying South. I nodded and began to head to the car along with her.
Delaney called at us," And by the way, when Erica's eye color changes that means her wolf and angel have taken over." She grins and heads back into her office. I look down at Erica who has a serious look on her face.
"Alright Erica lets go." She nods and hops in the passenger seat. Occasionally I looked over to see if her expression changed and it hasn't.
"Erica?" I looked over and she looked back at me studying my features before saying something.
"Yes Parker I am alright I'm just concerned about the battle that we are soon to face." She tried to force a smile but I could tell she was worried. I took her hand with the one obviously not on the steering wheel and gently rubbed my thumb against the top of her hand. Her body tensed then relaxed.
Erica's POV
We arrived back home. I jumped out of the car and called for an immediate pack meeting, I should be able to do that by now right? I am the Luna. The pack bowed and nodded. We all met in the clearing. Parker doesn't know I called a meeting. He'll find out soon enough. I stood up onto the podium in the middle of the clearing and began to speak.
"As your Luna I am here to warn and prepare everyone for the battle that is about to take place." Riley and Jason stood below the podium while everyone else stood behind in shock at the word battle. " Now I haven't told the pack this but I am being hunted by make rouge wolves craving my power. My angelic power." They nodded and let me continue. "It is mine and Alpha Parker's duty to keep this pack safe no matter what. Therefore training will start tomorrow." As I continued on Parker came walking toward the podium he gave me an approving look. I let him speak.
"Your Luna is correct, we must train and prepare." He stated everyone roared yes alpha in synchronization. I smiled at how we just owned all of this. Jason must of saw a ghost or something because he stared at something coming from behind me. As I turned around to see and arrow came hurdling towards me I gasped and Parker turned a tad to late. The arrow went straight into my stomach.
I began to gasp for air. Parker lifted me up but I jumped out of his arms. Parker whispered something to himself. Sounded like an oh shit. My body began to burn up my heart began to race faster, I pulled the arrow out of my stomach and began to run straight to where it came from. I howled and then Parker came running after me grabbing me before I could make it to the woods.
"Erica no no Dont go out there." He cooed holding me in his arms. He looked at my wound and it instantly began to heal. He didnt worry about getting me to a pack doctor considering my powers just heal me back up.
"I will get who shot you don't worry my kitten, i will protect you, that was my fault I'm so sor-" I hushed him cutting him off. "It's alright Parker I love you, thank you for stopping me." He forced a smile, I can tell he's still mad about the situation.
"Jason take her home" Jason nodded and grabbed my hand. Before leaving I kissed Parker passionately. Sparks ran through me as my lips synced with his. He pulled away smiling.
"Be safe" I whispered to him.
"Get some rest I'll be home before bed" He smiles and howls for his beta and some other pack mates and they head towards the woods looking for the culprit.
Jason and I get home and we're by ourselves at the house. We decide to watch a scary movie and of course I started screaming my head off. Jason however was laughing tremendously at my frights. I screamed and screamed. Jason chuckled and then the door busted open revealing Parker dripping in sweat. That looked awfully sexy. However I couldn't take that in yet, I was still shaking from the movie Jason just made me watch.
"Why were you screaming, who's here?!" He bellowed at me.
"Oh my god Parker calm your tits she saw a scary movie with me so she started screaming." Jason smirked. Parker sighed in relief and picked me up carrying me up the stairs.
I soon fall asleep in his embrace. My mate Alpha Parker was all I needed right now. And I never want to lose him.
Screams. That's all I heard were screams. I began to run outside looking for the source and there stood Parker covered in blood, Bethany laughing at the site. Then 100 rouges popped out and started tearing him apart. I gasped and ran over to him. I tried pushing them off but then someone grabbed me from behind and started drowning me in the near by pond. I screamed for help underwater but no one could hear. Minutes went by and My left started fading. I kept fighting.
"Erica Wake Up!!!!" Parker shook me awake. I gasped sitting up dripping in sweat. I began to cry into Parker's shoulder.
"Baby what happened? Nightmare?" He asked worriedly. I nodded into his chest and told him everything. I kept on sobbing. He began to run small circles around my back.
"Erica I will always be with you, nothing will stop me from being with you." He soothed me with his words. He rocked me slowly back to sleep.
A/N: ALRIGHTY. so I think this is a lengthy chapter maybe idk. the next chapter will have some sexy scenes so mild content will be there so don't get all hissy fit on me. Alright love you all! Mwah.
