Once upon a time, a young fae was abandoned at the very doors of the Labyrinth, barely even a few days old and she is left at the mercy of the Labyrinth itself. Miraculously this magical place took her in and raised her as if it were its own child.
Schooled in the ways of magic this young fae grew to become the sole ruler and most powerful being in this underworld dimension.
Even though she held the power of the realm at the tips of her fingers, she began to feel that the burden placed upon her had become far too great. With her mind at its last string of patience, she finally formulated a plan. The only way she could be rid of this burden is to find a new ruler, one that was raised to become a King.
Jareth son of the High King was the answer, only he could grow to understand the Labyrinths power and people, only he could rule and defend the Labyrinth.
And so that's how the tale began...
