Hey guys! So I wrote these poems back in November of 2015 but it was almost in the middle of my depression and one of my friends suggested to write poems so I did. They really aren't good but whatever.
"The Thoughts"
Her eyes used to shine bright
But then something grew
Inside of her that told
Her thats she's
Worthless
Unimportant
A mistake
A burden
A let down
A disappointment,
So that sparkle went away.
All because of some thoughts
That Satan had put in her mind.
Now, she may never get that sparkle back.

"Inside your head"
The thoughts inside your head
Get stronger and
Stronger every night.
They say that you're
A disgrace
A disappointment
A burden
A let down
A mistake
A worthless piece or crap
A waste of space.
Then the anxiety and thoughts become too much,
And you pause and think for a second,
Why am I still alive?
And in that second you realize,
That life is worth fighting for.

"One Day"
One day,
She will be happy again.
She will realize her worth.
She will see her beauty.
She will see that she's loved.
She will know that she'll be alright.
She will see that God had a plan.
She will see the light at the end of the tunnel.
She will see that all those
Prayers that she's prayed,
For God to take away the
Depression and the thoughts,
Were answered in God's time.

"Her Smile"
Her smile used to be......
Her smile used to be real.
Her smile used to be happy.
Her smile used to be bright.
But now......
Her smile is fake.
Her smile is worn out.
Her smile is forced.
But eventually......
Her smile will be real.
Her smile will be hopeful.
Her smile will be shiny.
She will get there.

"Eventually"
Eventually she will be happy.
Eventually she will be okay.
Eventually she will love life.
Eventually she will realize her worth.
Eventually she will realize that pain ends.
Eventually she will love herself.
Eventually she will not find her voice annoying.
Eventually she will realize that she is loved.
Eventually she will see that being alive is a good thing.
Eventually she will realize that God never left her.
Eventually she will understand that God is always on time.

"The Thoughts Whisper"
The thoughts whisper that
You're a nobody.
You're not special.
You're not important.
You're ugly.
You're fat.
You're a burden to everyone.
You're worthless.
You're a disappointment.
You're a loser.
You're not cared for.
The thoughts are wrong.
But they will keep going
And going until they become yells,
Until you want to give up.
Yell back.
Don't let them overpower you.
