ok, so I mentioned this briefly in my last update but, Imma say write it anyway. I don't celebrate Christmas, but for some abnormal reason December 25th is such a great day for me during the end of the day. *cue end of the day by 1d*
but seriously like last year, my fam and I went walking for hours and I was super bored. like we walked to Dairy Queen but of course it was closed. that's kind of stupid. then when we came home we had these annoying guests over with their loud ass toddlers.
the thing is that after they left, my fam was just chilling. so me and my sis had been checking out these tickets to a Tswizzle (Taylor swift) concert with Shawn Mendes (my love) and Vance Joy (another love) were performing. so I sucked up the courage and asked my parents for concert tickets. like I literally gave a whole presentation on who the artists were, with th help of my sis. that was 2014
this year, on dec 24, my main Couz tagged me in this one post on Instagram about how anything could happen or something like that. and so I really took that to mind. as I lay in bed that night (I couldn't sleep at all fml) I started devising ways on how to text Mac without being creepy and finding his number (he had it on Twitter).
the next day, Christmas, I woke up grumpy as hell, cuz, you know I didn't get much sleep. so my fam decides to go to my aunts house to stuff sausage, because it's some sort of Bosnian tradition that we do every year and we end up having a year supply of delicious sausage. take that trump you can't take away my traditions.
me and my sis were just chilling, bored af cuz we don't know how to do shit. so then I remember the plan I worked up the night before, and I grab my phone. Idk if I've mentioned my friend from marketing class before, but he plays a big role in this. just checked, I've mentioned him, and we call him Dau. thanks bro.
so I typed in mac's number into the phone, and I start typing in a message. the convo went like this.
me: idk if I got the number right, but congrats on the new phone Dau, have a good day you spoiled white boy
Mac: nope wrong number 😂
me: oh sorry 😂
Mac: it's okay 😂😂
me: well umm, have a nice rest of your day
Mac: you too merry Christmas 😊
me: I don't celebrate it but thanks and you too☺️

and that my friends, is the beginning of something that will probably not continue unless he decides to do something for once. I did my part, and I'd like to thank my inspiring cousin/ best friend who tagged me in the post.
so yeah, Christmas for me is like god saying, "woah, all these ungrateful white girls getting iPhones while Ayla is bored af, let's spice up her life a bit"
