Opening your eyes, automatically you knew that there was something REALLY wrong.
Oh gosh... I don't feel so good...
Your whole body felt sore and the room suddenly felt like Alaska. Reaching for your phone on the bedside table, you planned to text your boyfriend Suho, groaning in pain as your muscles stretched.
Y/N: Joonmyeon... I'm not going to make it to our little bike ride later, sorry :(
JM: Jagi, what's wrong? Do u have other plans?
Y/N: No. I just don't feel so well today... We'll try to go tmw.
JM: Ahh, you're sick! Ok, I'm on my way to your place right now.
Y/N: Oppa, gwenchana. I'll be fine, I just need some rest.
JM: Too late, I'm in your driveway already.
The front door lock clicked signalling that Suho was coming in without hesitation.
"_____? Are you ok?"
He came in your bedroom, crouching down beside the bed. Wanting to sit up, he told you to lay back down, piling some pillows behind you to lean on.
"I'm fine, sort of... Hopefully healed before Christmas :)"
You forced out a laugh to show that you were ok, Suho smiled a bit until you suddenly had a cough attack making him approach you to rub your back.
"I'll go make you some soup, stay here ok?"
"Ne Oppa^^"
Talking in an aegyo voice, he kissed the top of your head before heading to the kitchen.
Even though the both of you were of age, Suho didn't want you and him to live in one house yet. He said that once you're married that's when he'll buy a nice house for the both of you to have a family in ^•^
But even though, you both come over to each other's places so often that you practically live with each other, there are even spare rooms if ever one sleeps over. Suho doesn't want you to share a bed until marriage, such a gentleman :)
Suho came to check on you, a cold towel was placed on your forehead. He sat beside you, rubbing the back of your hand in circles.
"How are you feeling Jagi?"
His face deeply concerned for your health.
"Oppa~ I'm just a little sick, it's nothing serious. Stop worrying, it's not like I'm dying haha!"
You took his hands to comfort him, he started to smile again.
"Yeah, but you don't usually get sick... I don't like it when you're sick :("
He pouted which made you laugh. His face turned into complete horror as he remembered and dashed out to the kitchen to check the forgotten soup.
Coming back a few minutes later, Suho had a breakfast table with soup and juice on it. Seeing that you fell asleep, or at least hoped that you were asleep...
He gently shook your shoulder, but it did nothing.
The worst scenario played in his head as he placed the breakfast table down to check your breathing. He leaned down, his ear to your mouth.
"BOO!"
"AHHH!!!"
Stumbling backwards, Suho crashed into the wall behind him. The impact making you laugh harder until it was difficult to breathe.
"_____! Why'd you do that? That nearly gave me a heart attack..."
You had to die down your laughter while wiping some tears in order to answer him properly.
"Cause, it was funny."
Suho check your forehead once more before laughing.
"Well, you're certainly getting better."
"That's because you're here Oppa!"
He smiled to himself before pulling up a chair next to your bed, serving you the soup he made.
"Thanks for the soup Oppa, it was delicious!"
"Glad you liked it Jagi :)"
After putting away the dishes, he came back and laid beside you.
"No! Oppa! No! I don't want you to get sick too!!!"
You were failing your limbs trying to get him off of the bed, but he refused stubbornly.
"My immune system is very strong, I'll be fine."
"Okay~ but I told you so~"
"Yeah ok, wanna watch a movie? I'll let you pick."
Smirking at him evilly, he realized his mistake.
"O-on second thought-"
"Nope! You said I get to pick!"
"B-but Jagi~"
You coughed dramatically making him comply with your request out of guilt.
"Ok, what do you want to watch?"
"Horror!!!"
Throughout the whole movie, Suho was buried into your side from fright. You on the other hand had your eyes glued to the screen focused on the movie. Whenever something scary would come out, Suho gave a tight hug making you laugh.
"We should do this more often :)"
The movie just ended and Suho looked scarred with his eyes wide open from fear.
"No...never...again..."
CHRISTMAS DAY...
Unlocking the door to Suho's apartment, you sneaked into his home careful not to make any noise.
Heading to his room, you noticed that his bedroom door was slightly open. Peeking in, he was lying in bed, his nose as red as Rudolph's, coughing once in a while, blowing his nose and groaning in pain.
"So, strong immune system huh?"
Suho's face was full of panic. Clearing his throat he let out a raspy surprised greeting.
"Ah, Jagi! Merry Christmas?"
Not knowing how to react, he just froze in place and waited for your next move.
"I told you so Joonmyeon!"
Walking closer to him, Suho started to cover himself up with his blanket to hide his shame.
"So, now what?"
You asked Suho teasingly sitting on the foot of his bed, waiting for his response.
"Uh... I was wrong?"
"Exactly! Now it's my turn to take care of you :)"
The only time he allowed you to take care of him was when he was sick. Happily, you took the opportunity and treated him like a baby all you wanted XD
Placing a towel on his head, making him soup, and watching a movie of his choice. Doing all the things he did for you gave the best feeling ever. But it would never be enough to payback all that he's done throughout your relationship.
This thought made your aura change into a gloomy one. Suho sensed this and asked what was wrong.
"How can I ever pay you back? It's not fair, I feel like I'm not playing a part in this relationship. I'm just the spoiled girlfriend..."
Suho only responded with a laugh before patting you on the head.
"Well, you're giving me all the love and joy I could ever want :) That's what helps me keep going. So I owe you my love and thanks.
Looking at him in awe, you vowed to yourself to always keep that smile on his face.
"I love you too Kim Joonmyeon."
Kissing you on the forehead, he smiled brightly.
"Merry Christmas my love."
