Tessa's P.O.V:
"Walk right in." I say sarcastically as Marshall walks into my room without knocking. I throw my magazine at my feet and cross my arms across my chest. It had been a week since I first met his family. His brother was still staying here but his kids left this morning.
"Why do you read this bull shit." Marshall says picking up the magazine and taking a look at the cover.
"I don't know." I mumble. The magazine had my picture at the front, of course they had mentioned some crap about me and my ex.
"It's only going to bring you down." Marshall says throwing the magazine back on the bed. "Bunch of mail came for you. Leroy had fowarded to my address." Marshall says handing me a stack of envelopes.
"Fan mail." I smile as I look at all the mail.
"You gonna open it." Marshall asks. He takes a seat next to me on the bed and leans against the headboard.
"Since we don't have anything better to do, we might aswell." I shrug. I open the first envelope on the stack.
"What a shit drawing." Marshall mumbles.
"Leave that drawing alone." I gasp and push his shoulder back.
"I could draw better." He states.
"Yeah right." I roll my eyes.
"No, really. I'll prove it." Marshall says.
"Alright. Then i'll be waiting for your drawing." I smile as I read the letter.
"Cool." Marshall nods. He pick up another envelope and opens it. We both lean back on the headboard and read in silence.
"Awh. Look at this." I smile at a letter and hold it towards Marshall. He clears his throat and scrunches the letter that he was reading in his hand.
"Let me see." He mumbles.
"I wanted to read that. Pass it here." I say taking the letter from his hand.
"Forget about this one." Marshall sighs. I ignore him and open up the letter. Marshall watches me as I read it.
The letter basically makes me feel like shit. This person must really hate me. They called me fake, hopeless, crazy. They called me ugly and fat which makes me feel even more insecure. The persons telling me to cut myself. The person wishes for me to die-
"Tessa.." Marshall says reaching out for the letter in my hand.
"No. Please, just...Just don't talk about this one." I sigh. I reach out for the envelope it was in and try to put it back but I feel something sharp at the corners. I rip up the envelope and a blade drops on my lap.
"What the fuck.." Marshall whispers. I feel tears run down my cheek so before Marshall could notice I get out of the bed and walk into the bathroom. God I look like a mess, good thing my mascara didn't run.
How can someone be so harsh? They don't fucking know anything about me!
"Tessa?" Marshall says coming into the bathroom.
"Yeah?" I say and let my hair down to cover my face from him. "I'm fine. Honestly." I sigh.
"How are you fine? You should press charges against that person." Marshall says in a pissed tone.
"For sending hate mail?" I laugh. I don't feeling like laugh but it's a act infornt of Marshall. All I want to do right now is hide away and cry.
"Why the fuck do you find this funny?" Marshall says knitting his brows in confusion. I walk away from the mirror and walk towards Marshall.
"I've been opening up hate mail since I first blew up. I don't care Marshall. I'm used to what people say in these letters. Like I said i'm fine." I smile and walk around him.
Thing is i'll never be fine with these letters. I'll never get used to all this hate that's being thrown at me for no reason at all.
"Anyway? Did you want anything?" I ask Marshall as I put the letters away. Marshall doesn't say anything so I turn around to face him.
"Yeah, actually. We got the interview tomorrow live on radio." Marshall says.
"We have to announce this engagement thing." I nod and fold my arms across my chest.
"Yeah. But I forgot all about the engagement ring." Marshall says. "Paul told me to take you shopping so you can buy the one you like." He shrugs.
"Hold on." I say walking past him and into my closet. I walk over the my shelf and reach up to grab my jewellery box, I open up my jewellery box and take out my dimond ring, I walk back and show it to Marshall.
"You already bought it?" He frowns as he looks at it. "I told you I would buy it." He adds.
"No, I didn't buy it." I say slipping it onto my ring finger. I stand shoulder to shoulder with him and put my hand up in the air to show him.
"Looks good." Marshall says as he looks at the ring.
"It was my grandma's wedding ring." I nod.
"Well we can't have you wear that then." Marshall says. I look down at the ring on my hand and frown.
"Why not?" I whine.
"Because. Your family might recognise the ring if they see it in pictures." Marshall says.
"Your right. Oh, hold on!" I say and walk into my closet, Marshall follows me inside. I kneel down on the floor to take out another jewellery box from under the shelf. I had a few things under here that I don't want anyone seeing.
"I said i'll buy you a ring Tessa." Marshall huffs.
"I've got a lot of dimond rings Marshall." I tell him. I stand up with a small box in my hand which had a few rings in it. "What about this one?" I say picking it up and placing it in his palm.
"It's nice. I guess.." he mumbles as he looks at it. He looks back at the box and takes a ring out. "What about this." Marshall says holding up a ring.
"Not that one." I say.
"Why not? It looks like a engagement ring." He shrugs.
"Maybe because it is a engagement ring." I say taking it off him. "My engagement ring." I add and drop it in the box.
"Oh." Marshall mumbles. "Why'd you still have it?" He asks. Sighing I kneel down and place the box where it was.
"Because there was a time in my marriage where I was happy. I have a lot of good memories with my ex husband." I say as I stand back up.
"You still have contact with him?" Marshall asks.
"We text eachother when we have to." I shrug.
"Oh. Listen. We need to get you a ring. So get dressed." He says and walks out.
"Alright but i'm paying!!" I shout after him.
"Over my dead fucking body." Marshall shouts back.
"Well that can be arranged." I chuckle to myself.
"I fucking heard that!!" Marshall shouts making me laugh.
I get dressed in blue jeans and a white tank top. I add on my black heels and a black jacket. I leave my hair down and quickly start on my make up.
Marshall's P.O.V:
"You done?" I shout and knock on her door.
"Almost! You can come in." She says. I open the door and walk in. She was applying on make up. Once she's done she sighs and looks at the mirror.
"What's wrong?" I ask her as she frowns at her reflection.
"Apperance is everything. It's what my mom told me." She mumbles. "Usually I ask Karla this, but does my make up look alright?" She says turning around to me. She looks stunning to be honest. Her eyes were a beautiful shade of blue and it looks like she just got her make up done professionally by a make up artist.
"We're just going to get you a ring. We ain't going to a red carpet event or something." I say.
"So its to much?" She say quickly looking in the mirror. "God, I feel and look ugly." She mumbles to herself but I hear too.
"Why are you so insecure?" I say walking over to her.
"Do you blame me for feeling so insecure? I mean, there's going to be so many paparazzi out there. All my fucking photos are going to be around the world." She says getting worried.
"You look nice." I shrug, she covers her face in frustration. Why the fuck does she care so much. "Listen Tessa. You don't gotta worry about the rest of the world-" I start but she cuts me off.
"Yes. I do." She sighs. "Let me just quickly do it again." She says wiping her face with wet wipes.
"Tessa, we don't got time-" I start but she cuts me off.
"Please Marshall. It will take just a few minutes." She pleads, I sigh and take a seat at the end of her bed.
"Hurry up." I sigh.
"Thanks." She smiles and starts on her make up. I watch her as she picks out her make up and applys it to her face. She starts to mess around with her hair for a few minutes before she decides to leave it down and open.
I wonder why she's insecure? She doesn't really have anything to be insecure about. When I used to see her on the tv I just used to think she was some fake ass celebrity who thinks she's too perfect for the world.
But behind those flashing camera's and lights, shes a down to earth person. Shes a normal person who has problems with the way she presents herself to the world. She's insecure. She takes hours infornt of the mirror before she goes out to shop. It's like she need's to look perfect for the world.
I was expecting her to be spoilt and a daddy's princess. But instead she's good with my daughters and she's fun to be around with.
"Earth to Marshall." Tessa giggles as she waves her hand up to get my attention.
"Yeah." I say once I snap out of my thoughts.
"What were you thinking about?" She asks as she goes into her closet.
"Nothing." I mumble standing up. Tessa comes out with her leather handbag and phone in hand. "You ready?" I ask her.
"I think so." She says and looks at her reflection. Before she could take another looks at herself I pull her out the room by her elbow. She laughs at me reaction.
"You take too damn long to get ready." I state as we walk down the stairs. Tessa laughs in response.
"Well if you would have told me last night or earlier on I would have been ready." She says. I roll my eyes in response and grab my keys.
I take the black escalade and drive down my drive way.
"Your house is so fucking huge!" Tessa says as she pulls on her seat belt.
"You're a celeb, your house must be pretty big too." I say leaning back with one hand on the steering wheel and the other one on the gear shift.
"Not as big as yours." She says.
"Well maybe we can go to Cali one day and you can show me around." I shrug turning to her, she smiles wide and nods in response.
"I'd like that." She says.
The rest of the car ride was mainly quiet. Since Tessa was new here in Detroit and didn't go out much, she couldn't help but just stare outside.
"Come on." I mumble as I kill off the engine once we arrive to the place Paul had told me to go to. We walk into the shop which was empty. "Tell me when you see anything you like." I whisper to her, she nods in response.
"Can I help you with anything miss?" A African American man says coming out from the back.
"Can you show us a few rings please?" Tessa says walking over to the guy, I walk over to her and stand next to her as we wait for the guy to come back.
"Good afternoon sir." The man smiles at me before he turns to Tessa. "These are our newest collection and are very popular." The man tells her.
She picks up a ring and the guy tells her the price as she looks at the ring. She puts it back once she hears the price.
"Something a bit cheaper maybe?" Tessa says. The guy smiles politely and takes out a few more boxes.
"Just choose any. The price don't matter." I shrug.
"Marshall i'm not letting you pay. Plus that ring is way to expensive for a 'fake' engagement." She says, whispering the fake part. The guys head shoots up when he hears the engagement bit.
"Congratulations on your engagement!" He grins.
"Er, thanks man." I say and clear my throat. I was guessing he hadn't heard the fake part.
"Thank you." Tessa says awkwardly.
"I've got the perfect ring for engagements...Hold on." He says and takes out a glass box.
Tessa chooses a ring and picks it up. The guy tells her how many diamonds it has and how popular it is as Tessa examines it.
"Try it on Miss.." The guy says waiting for her to tell him her second name.
"Black. Miss Black." Tessa smiles and then goes back to looking at the ring in her palm.
"Miss Black." He smiles. "Why don't you try it on." He suggests. She nods in response and starts to slide it down her right hand finger. "Why don't you try the ring finger. Then you'll know if it's perfect."
Tessa looks at me and then back at the ring, I was guessing she's embarrassed or shy to try it on infornt of me so the guy turns towards me and shows me a few rings.
"That one looks good." I say as I glance at her finger.
"Yeah. But it's too much Marshall." She says and takes it off. I roll my eyes as she hands it back to the guy.
"If you like it. Have it." I shrug.
"If you let me pay for it then I will." She shrugs.
"Alright. You pay." I say. She smiles wide and hands the ring to the employee.
"Anything else? We have a new collection of watches for female and also male." The man says. Tessa turns to me and I shake my head in a 'no'.
"No thanks, just the ring please." She says still smiling wide.
"Cash or card?" The man says.
"Uhr card. Thanks." She says patting her pockets, does she really think i'm gonna let her pay? I took her purse out whilst we were driving and left it on the back seat.
"Is everything alright?" I ask.
"Uhr. I think I left my purse in the car." She mumbles. "Can you pass me your keys?" She asks.
"Yeah. Sure." I say and throw her the keys.
"I'll be right back." She says catching the keys with both hands. I nod in response as I watch her walk out. I turn to the guy and hand him my card. He smiles once he catches on to what i've done.
"Thanks Mr Mathers." He smiles, fuck he recognised me.
"Yeah, sure." I clear my throat. "Just don't tell anyone man." I say.
"What that you and Tessa Black are engaged?" He smirks.
Fuck.
"Yeah. No one should fucking know." I say.
"I don't know man." He says stroking his chin.
"The fuck does that mean?" I frown.
"Well. I can either call up TMZ and tell them about this or you can pay me." He says.
"Fuck you man!" I say getting pissed.
"Your ladys probably about to come back." He says pointing at the door.
"How much?" I sigh.
"$1,500." He smirks.
"$1000 dick head." I say. He thinks for a moment.
"Alright...Guess it'll have to do." He says, I take out $1000 in cash, yeah I know I shouldn't be carrying this much but I need money at times like this.
"Here's the ring." He smiles sliding the box over to me.
"Motherfucker." I mumble and turn around to walk out.
"Hey, found my purse." Tessa smiles as she holds up her purse and walks towards us.
"Uhr..We gotta go." I say holding her arm and walking out.
"Wait. You payed for it?" She asks as we walk out.
"Tessa. Move your fucking legs before we get run down by the fucking paparazzi and fans!" I say a bit too harshly. Before there's time to apologise I hear a few paparazzi men shout our names.
We get in the car and the paparazzi run towards us, blocking my way. Tessa covers her face with a pair of sun glasses and also her hands.
"Here wear this." I say handing her the box.
"Why?" She frowns as more paparazzi rush towards us.
"For our fucking publicity stunt...Just fucking wear it." I sigh, trying to calm down but because of the fucking employee and the fucking paparazzi i'm beyond pissed.
"You don't have to be a dick about it." She snaps as she takes the ring out. Why can't she just listen the first fucking time. She slides the ring down her finger.
"Cover your face with the left hand, so they can see the ring." I suggest. Sighing she shields her face with her left hand.
I glance at her a few times as I drive and see her look down at her ring. She looks upset and i'm not sure if it's because of me or that ring. My phone starts to ring and Tessa passes it to me from the back.
"Hello?" I say picking up the phone.
"Yo, Em." Paul says from the other end.
"Ay man. Whats up?" I put the call on speaker since i'm driving. Tessa holds the phone for me as I talk.
"You were just on tv." Paul says sounding really happy.
"Why?" I frown.
"They're showing a footage on celebrity news where you and Tessa are coming out the jewellery shop." Paul says.
"Well this publicity stunt is working.." Tessa sighs.
"Am I on speaker?" Paul asks.
"Yeah. Tessa's listening." I reply.
"Alright. They showed a video and you could see the ring on your finger too Tessa." Paul says.
"Really?" She says suprised. "What are they saying about it?" She asks.
"They're talking about you being together with your ex husband again." Paul explains.
"Oh." She swallows hard and goes quiet.
"Ay Paul. We're heading home so i'll call you again." I say.
"Actually. We need you both to stay out a little longer." Paul says. I hate going out. It's all because of the paparazzi.
"Alright. I'm hungry so we'll get something to eat." I sigh.
"Cool. Make sure you show your ring Tessa." Paul say and hangs up.
"You wanna grab something to eat then?" I say stopping at a red light, Tessa shrugs in response and leans her head against the leather car seat.
"I guess.." She mumbles. Why the fuck do these bitches get upset so quick? Was she seriously still upset because I snapped at her.
"Alright." I mumble. I drive towards a diner that I come to sometimes with the girls.
"Can't we just go to a drive thru?" She questions as we hop out the car.
"Naw. We need to act like a couple." I say as we stand next to each other infornt of my car.
"Act like a couple..." She repeats and her eyes go wide.
"Whoa...We don't need to get all touchy and shit. Well, unless you want to." I smirk, she shoves me lightly and walks behind me. Guess the play full side of her is back.
"You see any paparazzi?" Tessa asks as we walk away from the car.
"No." I reply. "Actually yeah." I say and hold her hand like a normal couple would, she tenses up a bit as I hold her hand. "Relax." I mumble.
"Okay.." She mumbles. "But does my make up look fine?" She says stopping and turning towards me.
"You look like Crusty the clown." I joke.
"Marshall!" She gasps and slaps me on my arm, she trys to act upset but bursts out laughing. "You're so mean!" She says as I lock hands with her.
"Come on. I was kidding." I say.
"So my make up doesn't look bad?" She asks again.
"You're make up looks great." I roll my eyes, Tessa sighs as we walk inside the diner.
"Hey. Welcome to Tay's Diner. Table or Booth?" A cheerful red headed women asks. Table is better since the paparazzi will get better photos.
"Booth."
"Table." We both say at the same time. Tessa looks at me confused, but then it clicks in.
"Right...Table." She says slowly.
"Great. Follow me." The waitress says and walks us towards a table thats next to a window. "Can I get you both a drink?" She asks.
"Uhr a coke." I say as I take a seat.
"I'll have water, please." Tessa smiles as she takes off her jacket and sits down. Why does she always gotta watch her weight?
"She'll have a coke too." I say to the waitresses.
"No. Waters fine." Tessa says quickly.
"Alright. She'll have a strawberry milk shake. With a lot of chocolate sauce drizzled on top, with chocolate chips, those er rainbow sprinkles, cherries, toffee-" I say and Tessa cuts me off as I start to add more sugary stuff to the list.
"A coke will be great." She says quickly.
"Okay, two cokes." The waitress laughs.
"Make one a diet coke." Tessa says, I roll my eyes as she settles down in her seat again.
"You must be really hungry." I state as we look at the menu's.
"I'm actually not hungry at all." She mumbles as she looks at the menu. I know she's lying. Her breakfast was in the bin this morning just like every other day. "I've never been to one of these places since I was a kid." She says looking around.
"What a place to eat?" I ask looking up from the menu.
"No. A diner." She tuts.
"Oh. Well why not." I ask.
"I don't know." She shrugs and leans back. "I haven't really ate in a café or a diner or anything once I became a celeb. It was always room service or top restaurants. You know?" Tessa says.
"Yeah." I nod. "Don't look now, but there's a paparazzi guy behind the red car." I mumble.
"Do I look fine?" Tessa says.
"Tessa.." I sigh. "Why do you always gotta worry about what you fucking look like?" I ask.
"Because." She shrugs.
"Because why?" I ask.
"Marshall. Looks might not matter to you because you're a guy. But to me, to women, the world points out every ugly detail." She explains.
"I care about the way I look sometimes." I shrug.
"It's probably not half bad for you since you're good looking." She shrugs. I smirk at her choice of words making her go bright red in the face.
"Your not bad looking yourself." I tease, she rolls her eyes and looks away.
"Shut up. Can we change the topic now." She says clearing her throat awkwardly. She picks up her menu and looks through it.
"Have you decided what you're both going to order?" The waitress says placing our drinks infornt of us.
"I'll have the hamburger and fries." I say and drink my cola.
"Could I have the grilled chicken salad, please." Tessa smiles up at the waitress.
"O-of course, m-miss." The waitress stutters nervously. I guess she recognises Tessa.
"I'm Tessa by the way." Tessa smiles taking her hand out.
"I-I know who you are." The waitress gulps.
"Cool. What's your name?" She asks sweetly. I admire her for talking to her fans and making thier day.
"Rachel." The waitress smiles, shaking. "I went to your last concert here in Detroit." She smiles.
"Awh, I hope you enjoyed it Rachel." Tessa smiles tilting her head to the side.
"It was the best day of my life. You're an amazing artist." Rachel smiles.
"You just made my day. Thank you." Tessa chuckles. Yeah right, she just made Rachel's whole fucking year.
"RACHEL! Table 7!" We hear someone shout from the back.
"I should probably go." Rachel says looking back at the counter. "I'll get your order."
"Alright sweetie." Tessa smiles, the waitress smiles and walks away. It goes quiet for a few minutes until I break the silence.
"So how do you like it in Detroit?" I ask, Tessa looks up from her lap and smiles warmly. Our food arrives and we both dig in.
"It's actually not too bad." She shrugs. "I mean it can be kinda boring here at times." She adds.
"Better then Cali don't you think?" I say.
"Oh, your that type of guy." She chuckles as she wipes her hand on a napkin.
"That type of guy?" I raise my brow. She drinks her coke before she speaks.
"You like your city, don't you?" She says.
"Well, without Detroit who knows where I'd be." I shrug.
Tessa opens her mouth to speak but closes it again when her phone starts to ring. She looks down at the callers ID and freezes for a moment. She bites on her lip and slowly declines the call.
"Can we go now?" She asks as she places her phone in her pocket. I nod and stand up from my seat. I take out my wallet and at the same time Tessa takes out hers.
"Oh, you don't gotta..." I trail off as I toss the money on the table.
"It's fine." She says quietly. "I'll pay." She smiles and tosses the money on the table.
"Oh, your that type of girl." I smirk as I mimick her. She laughs softly before she shakes her head and throws my money back at me.
"I do not sound like that." She laughs. "I'm paying." She says. I tut and throw my money on the table again and pick up hers. "Marshall, you already payed for this ring." She sighs.
"It's not like i'm gonna go broke any second now." I mumble. The waitress, Rachel, comes back towards us with a check.
"Here's you check, sir." She smiles. I hand her the money before Tessa can and start to walk away. "Sir!" Rachel shouts after me. Godamn it.
"Yeah?" I sigh and turn around, Tessa stands next to me.
"Could I have a picture?" She asks nervously.
"Awh. Take a picture with her! She's shaking." Tessa whispers, I roll my eyes and turn my attention back towards the waitress.
"Yeah sure." I mumble as I walk over to her.
"Can you join to?" The waitress turns to Tessa. Tessa nods and smiles as she walks towards us.
The waitress hands her small pink camera to a middle aged man as Tessa and I stand next to her. I watch Tessa as she tilts her head slightly to the right towards Rachel and smiles brightly at the camera as the flash goes off.
"Hey, could you look this way." The middle aged man says. I nod and place my hand on the waitresses shoulder as the man takes the photo.
Once we sign a picture for her, both of us walk out towards my car. I look down and Tessa covers her face as the paparazzi run towards us and shout our names.
Tessa's P.O.V:
"I left my phone in there." I say as we stop infornt of Marshall's car, the damn paparazzi were surrounding us.
"You want me to go get it?" Marshall asks as he looks back at the diner.
"No, I don't mind going." I tell him and walk back towards the diner. A few paparazzi's follow me and a few stay by Marshall's car.
I make my way into the diner with the paparazzi throwing a millon questions at me. I cover my face and look down as I ignore them and walk into the diner. Rachel, the waitress see's me and smiles lightly as I wave at her.
The table that Marshall and I were sitting on was now taken by and elderly couple. Rachel smiles shyly as she walks towards me.
"Hey, I left my phone here earlier on.." I start and trail off once she takes out my phone from her apron pocket.
"I was going to call Mark from your contacts to tell him that you left your phone here but you came back." She smiles innocently.
"Mark.." I mumble and look up at her curiously. He called me three minutes ago but why? Nicole had also called me when were were eating earlier on of course, I didn't pick up.
"Have you been going through my phone?" I ask her getting angry. She rubs her forehead and looks nervous almost scared even. Sighing, I push my hair back and place my phone in my pocket. "Listen don't worry about." I tell her and walk out.
The paparazzi run straight to me and block my way. I try to keep my cool as I push through the bastards.
"How are you Tessa?" I hear one of them shout.
"I'm great, thanks." I fake smile. I start to get irratated when a few paparazzi push me.
"How's your day going so far?" Another one asks as he holds up a video camera.
"It was going great until all of you lot ruined it." I tell them. The paparazzi laugh at this making me sigh in frustration.
Get the fucking hint godamn it!
"How was your lunch date with Eminem tonight?" One women stands infornt of me, blocking my way.
"Excuse me." I smile lightly and ignore her question. She doesn't move and jumps onto her next queston.
"Are you two dating?" She asks with her camera recording my every move.
"Move out of my way." I say as politely as I can. Her smirk grows wider. She's testing me, this bitch....
"What does Marcus Carter have to say about this?" She asks. Mark is short for Marcus. I was Mrs Carter once and it still hurts to think about him.
"That has nothing to do with you!" I shout. She smirks and whispers something to the man next to her.
"What happened between you two. Just a months weeks ago you were seen laughing at a frozen yogurt place." She asks. "Are the rumors through that you cheated on him?" She asks.
"I'm asking you kindly to move." I sigh and rub my hand down my face.
"Okay, you don't like the subject. Or you won't admit to it." She shrugs and thinks for a minute.
"You're pathetic!" I hiss and push past her, she follows me to Marshall's car. I stop in my tracks when I hear her next queston.
"Karla's got cancer right? How long does she have left a day...two days?" I hear her ask. I notice Marshall sit up in his seat and roll his windows down. "I mean, the break down scene you had was a great performance. You deserve another oscar for that. She's like half dead, why not just bury her." She adds.
I turn to face her, my body full of anger now. Before I know it my hand connects to her cheek like a magnet. The lady's hand fly's to her cheek and everyone goes quiet.
"You take that back, you bitch!" I shout. The lady holds her cheek and her eyes go wide.
"You stupid whore, jumping onto one guy to the next so fast!" She shouts and shoves me back against the car.
Before I know it, i'm punching her and pulling her hair. I snap out of it when her fist hits my cheek and then my jaw, making me even more angry, if that was possible.
The paparazzi starts to shout in excitement as they snap photo's and record videos. I feel someone pull me back by the waist and I quickly claw at the hand.
"Get off me!" I shout.
"Tessa, come on." I hear Marshall whisper. I nod slowly and he lets me go after a few seconds when he's sure I won't do anything else to hurt the women.
"I'll meet you in the car." I say as I turn to face him, Marshall nods slowly and walks back to the car.
"Are you okay?" One paparazzi man asks me.
"Tessa, do you want a ambulance?" Another asks but I ignore them all as they fuss over me.
I watch Marshall as he gets into the car and closes his side of the door. He watches me and waves me over. I don't respond and turn back to the girl. Her face was bright red.
I take out a tissue from my pocket, not to clean up the blood on my brow and lip but to clean up her blood. Before I could hand it to her, she spits on my neck, splattering red all over my chest and neck.
This bitch..
I take a step foward and punch her across the face making her fall on the floor before I turn to walk away to Marshall's car.
