T R O Y E
I woke up, sweat covering my forehead. I remembered all the details of the dream I had.
Just leave.
What did that mean?
I got up and changed clothes, because I still had the previous day's outfit on.
"I'm sorta seeing someone else.."
Mark, was that the guys name?
He's better than you...
But I don't even know him.
That doesn't matter, he has Connor. And what do you have? An empty hotel room.
I looked around. It was ugly and dirty in here. I hadn't noticed that when I first came in.
I got up and decided to call Tyde to tell him of what happened.
"Tyde?"
"Troye? What happened?"
"I, I told him.."
"And?"
"He's dating someone else." My voice cracked at the end. How pathetic.
"Oh, God Troye. I'm sorry."
"Yeah..his names Mark...I lost him, Tyde. I feel like such a failure."
"Don't be talking like that. You are not a failure. Just because a bad thing happened, doesn't mean anything-"
"It's not just that-I've failed everyone. I haven't spoken with my friends for over a month, I've lost my best friend, and I haven't posted a video or explained what was happening with me to my fans. I feel like everything is shattering around me. And it's my fault."
"Troye, your mistakes don't define you. Everything can be fixed! We filmed that collab! And you went over to California to see Connor. Sure, he has boyfriend now..but that doesn't mean you two can't still be friends."
"I guess."
"Now, go back to him, and meet his boyfriend. Maybe they won't last long. Maybe you still have shot." He was trying his best to get my hopes up.
"You think?"
"Yes! Now don't let rejection keep a great friendship from ending."
I smiled,"Thanks Tyde."
"No problem, and tell me what happens when it's over. Bye."
"Will do, bye."
I ended the call and but my shoes on, preparing myself to go see Connor.

I now stood at Connors door step, about to knock on the door. You can do this, Troye.
No you can't
Go away.
I reached out and knocked, firmly so he could actually hear this time. I held my breath as the door opened, to reveal a man I've never seen before. Presumably 'Mark'.
He's definitely better looking than you.
"Hey, who are you?" His voice was deep, and he looked like he had just woken up.
"Hello, I'm Troye. I came over to see Connor."
"Oh, um yeah sure come in." I thought it was weird that he would let me in, seeing as it wasn't his house and for all he could know, I could be some creepy stalker fan. But it got me inside, so I just went with it.
"I'll go get him." Mark walked over to Connors room as I took a seat on his couch. I could hear as he told him someone was here to see him. He didn't say my name, just explained it as 'a friend'.
I heard footsteps approaching and soon Connors face appeared from the hall.
"Troye? What are you doing here?" He looked surprised, but happy to see me. It's a good thing I came...
"Yeah, I thought, well since I flew all the way over here, we might as well hang out."
"Well I'm glad you came." He smiled, flashing his white teeth before walking over to me and hugging me. It felt like longer than usual, but I wasn't complaining.

We caught up on what's happened the past month, Connor told me of a book deal he got. Said I was the first he's told so far. Mark came in every once in a while, talked for a bit before giving Connor a hug, then leaving back to Con's bedroom.
"How is it, with Mark?" I asked him.
"It okay."
"Okay?"
"Yeah, I honestly don't know. He's a sweet guy. But I don't know how long we're going to last for." He shuffled awkwardly on the couch.
"Oh." Of course Tyde would be right.
"Mhm."
"Do you want to watch tv or something?" I suggested.
"Um, can we maybe go out today? All Mark and I have been doing this month was stay in and watch the television." I could tell how much he wanted to get out.
"Sure. Let's go get lunch." He laughed.
"It's eight o'clock, Troye. How about dinner?" Had we really been talking for so long?
"Oh, sure. Let's go. "I laughed along with him.
We ended up going to the Grove and having dinner in a restaurant. It was nice, and we had a competition to see who could leave their phone down the longest. It was harder for me, seeing as I had been off it for over a month and I had a lot to catch up on. But in the end it was Con who broke when he had to answer a call from Mark.
"I'll be right back." He took his phone and walked of to answer it.
I waited patiently, eating away untill he came back. "Why did he call?" I asked him.
"I forgot we left him at home, so he was asking where I was. He's sorta mad now, but whatever." He sat down and took a bite of his pasta.
"Whatever? Such a great boyfriend, Con." I joked.
"Best there is." He mumbled.
We finished and then went for a walk around the Grove. The stars weren't noticeable, but it was still nice out. While walking, we ran into Ricky and JC.
"Want to watch a movie? There's this one I've been dying to see.." JC then went on to describe some thriller he's been wanting to see for a while. We politely declined, we were both tired and Connor said he didn't like the idea of being in a dark theater for two hours. Then we went back to his place.
"Where have you been? You left me here alone." Was the first thing Mark said when we entered Connors house.
"Sorry. Troye and I got hungry. So we went out to get food."
"What about me? I've been hungry too." Mark looked pissed, but it was stupid. Just because Connor went out to get food?
"Why didn't you go out then? Or made yourself food?"
"This is stupid. I'm leaving." Mark pushed past Connor and I towards the door.
"Well then." I said after he had left.
"He's always like this. Clingy and getting made at the smallest of things." Connor ran his hand through his hair. " That's part of why I think it won't work out with him and me."
"Huh, he has anger issues, seems like it."
"Yeah, anyways, tonight was fun. We should do it again while your still in town. How long are you staying for?" I didn't know how long I would be staying for, I thought a week maybe.
"Probably a week. And a half, at most." I told him.
"Oh, well maybe you could come over again tomorrow."
"Sure." I smiled before saying good bye to him and leaving back to the ugly hotel, to call and tell Tyde of how well the day had went.

So I think I've cleared out the updating schedule for this book, every Wednesday and Sunday. Okay? Okay.
And I've started a new fix, not posted yet, but I don't know if I will ever post it because it's really emotional. I cried while writing it. I'll say something if I do end up doing that.
Also, apparently someone has leaked Troye's album?? What the fuck?? Why would someone do that ??!! DONT MESS WITH MY SON.
But seriously. Just don't. He's worked so hard, be respectful and WAIT until the official release date (Dec. 4)
