"Yoongi-ssi! New order for a corsage! White lilies, few greens, silver ribbon!" Yoongi heard his boss call for him from across the store and he paused tending to the daffodils that looked a bit on the wilting side, pulling his notebook out of his apron pocket.

"White lilies, few greens and silver ribbon?" He repeated back as he wrote the words down and looked up for confirmation. She nodded back at him from the front counter and started walking in his direction.

"You don't need to worry about it now though, you can start working on it after we close up for the day alright?" A warm smile came from her part and Yoongi returned it wholeheartedly.

"Arasseo, noona." He beamed before filling up the watering can with fresh water. His boss rolled her eyes at him.

"Yoongi, I told you; call me Yuri"

"Noonaaa, noonaaaa!" Yoongi sang as he watered the flowers, shaking his hips jokingly.

"You're such a nerd!" Yuri giggled, leaning against the shelf beside her.

"But you love me." He smiled and set the watering can back on the shelf, wiping his hands on his apron.

"That's debatable." She laughed.
Yoongi pouted and put his hands over his heart.

"I'm hurt."

"You'll live, now go man the counter I'll take over back here."

Nodding, Yoongi made his way up to the front of the store, untying his apron and folding it. He set the apron on the counter. Adjusting the crown of flowers that sat atop his head he sighed and looked out the store window.
Valentine's day had been a few days before which meant that the store had been considerably busy. Yoongi wasn't exactly a sociable person per say, but if a customer was going to tell him a five minute explanation on how they were going to propose on Valentine's day, he wasn't going to turn them down.

That was one of the reasons he loved his job to be honest, the most common reason a customer came in was to get a gift for their loved one. Yoongi could always tell as soon as they walked in, they practically glowed wondering what they should get and what their partner would think of it.

Yoongi couldn't say he didn't wonder what it was like to have someone that you loved so much, but from what he gathered from the customers; it must be pretty nice.
The bell on the front door chimed, signalling that a new customer had walked in, snapping Yoongi out of his thoughts.

He looked up again and laid his eyes upon the person who walked in. They were male, fairly tall, light brown hair swept to the side and hands shoved in the pockets of his jeans.
He had the aura of someone buying something for a loved one, but his expression pained Yoongi. He looked unbelievably sad as his eyes raked over the various flowers in the shop. Yoongi knew that Yuri noticed as well, one look at her could tell all. Her lips tugged into a small frown and eyebrows furrowed slightly as she looked away from him and added new soil to a pot.

"W-Welcome!" Yoongi greeted, deciding it would be best to say something. It wasn't that he hadn't dealt with sad customers before, of course he had, but it got to him every time. Although Yoongi knew that being upset was just a part of life, he hated seeing other people upset more than being upset himself. "Is there anything I can help you with?"
The man looked up at Yoongi and moved a stray piece of hair out of his face before approaching the front counter.

"What would you recommend for an... Apology?" The man asked seemingly looking everywhere but Yoongi.

"An apology? Um.." Yoongi thought for a second. "I've always liked the look of a small bouquet, of maybe five flowers. They're simple, but in the most beautiful way."
Finally meeting eyes with Yoongi, the man nodded.

"O-Okay, what flowers do you recommend?" He asked.
Yoongi knew what he would say as soon as the question was asked.
He reached behind him and carefully pulled one flower out of a vase, he then turned to face the man again.
The flower Yoongi was holding was a rose, it was all a dark red albeit the brilliant white centre.

"This one is one of my favourites. Together the colours of it mean unity, I feel like if this person is extremely important to you this would be a good choice. Not to mention, the flower itself is beautiful."

The man stared at Yoongi for a second before a whisper of a smile appeared on his face.

"That sounds wonderful." He mumbled, "Is it okay if I look around for a bit though?"
Yoongi nodded.

"Of course. If you need anything, feel free to ask, you can ask Yuri also. She's at the back over there." He answered and pointed in Yuri's general direction. She looked up and smiled.

"Thank you." The man replied. Yoongi nodded.
The man walked off, browsing the flowers once more and Yoongi sat down on the chair behind the counter. He reached under the counter and into the small cooler that concealed itself under there. It was where he and Yuri kept the flowers waiting to be picked up to ensure that they were still fresh when the customers arrived.

However, Yoongi had a special container in there that held spare clippings of flowers, ones that Yuri didn't think were needed. Yoongi put them to use though, weaving them into a halo like shape, much like the crown that he adorned at the moment.
Humming softly as he worked very carefully on one that consisted of pink and white cherry blossoms, Yoongi felt happy.

"You make those?" The man's voice interrupted Yoongi's little moment and he stared at the unfinished crown in Yoongi's hands intently.
Yoongi nodded.

"I sell them," He answered, "My boss, Yuri, is kind enough to let me keep three quarters of the funds I earn from it. I'm saving up for collage." Nodding, the man watched Yoongi work on the crown for a few moments more before speaking again.

"I'd like to take your suggestion on that bouquet." He spoke.
Yoongi smiled and tied a final ribbon on the crown, joining the two ends together.

"Fantastic." He beamed. "I can probably have it ready tomorrow morning, could I get your name and phone number so that we can call you when it's finished?"
The man nodded.

"Jung Hoseok." Hoseok then told Yoongi his phone number, Yoongi typing it into the computer on the desk and repeating it back to Hoseok once to make sure he didn't make a mistake.

"Alright. You can pay upfront now, or when you come to pick it up. Whatever you prefer."

"I'll pay for it now." Hoseok answered, fishing his wallet out of the back pocket in his jeans. "I was also wondering how much those were." He pointed to the flower crown that sat on the counter.
Yoongi's eyebrows shot up and he smiled even wider.

"One like this in particular, is 3540 won* because it's quite simple. One like this," He pointed to the one on his head. He spent quite a while on it, giving it two layers of flowers seemed to have proved difficult for Yoongi. "Would be 5900."
Hoseok nodded and pointed to the one sitting on the counter.

"I think I'd like that one." He replied softly.

"Good choice." Yoongi smiled and picked up the halo of flowers on the counter. He leaned over and reached up to place the crown on top of Hoseoks head. "It suits you."

A small smile tugged at Hoseok's lips as he pulled the correct amount of money for both the bouquet and the crown out of his wallet.
Yoongi couldn't help but stare at him. The white flowers of the crown matched Hoseok's white long sleeved shirt, the pink matching his shoes. Everything went together perfectly and Yoongi couldn't help but smile.

It was like art.

Yoongi sorted the money he was given into the cash register. "Alright, thank you for stopping by."

"Thank you for helping me." Hoseok replied.

"Oh and you know how you said the flowers were for an apology?"
Hoseok nodded, "I hope everything turns out alright. An apology is the first step right? You just gotta have a bit of patience."

Hoseok nodded and shoved his hands in the pockets of his jeans once more.

"Thank you."

"No problem."

Yoongi sighed as the door chimed again as Hoseok walked out. He leaned against the counter and looked up when he heard Yuri's footsteps walking towards him.

"How'd it go, cupcake?" She asked and Yoongi rolled his eyes playfully at the nickname.

"It was fine." He replied, "I sold one of these bad boys." He pointed to the crown on his head and Yuri chuckled.

"I saw. I'm gonna start closing up now okay?"
Yoongi raised an eyebrow.

"We aren't supposed to close up for another 10 minutes though." He said and looked at her questioningly.

"My boyfriend is gonna be waiting for me outside though." She pouted, "No one has to know, it's not like we do this often." Yuri untied her apron and set it on the counter beside Yoongi's.

"Okay, okay." He chuckled, "You go on, I can close up."

"Really?" She beamed and Yoongi nodded in response. "Aw you're the best!" She kissed his cheek shortly before skipping out the door.
Yoongi shook his head and laughed.
Leaning against the counter, he sighed and closed his eyes briefly. Somewhere along the line (though he knew it was coming), Hoseok drifted into his mind and he laughed at himself softly.

He walked over to the front door and locked it before flipping to 'open' sign to display the word 'closed' instead.

"Okay," he mumbled to himself, walking back over to the desk where the vase of red and white roses was. "Let's get started."

As he trimmed the roses and removed the thorns he smiled.
There was no denying it, Yoongi wanted to see him again.

Can I really balance writing two books at the same time all the while starting school in just over a week?
Can I really? I'm gonna try because I've had this idea for so long and I needed to actually write something.
