We crept out slowly, and Batman shot him. But he didn't shoot the Joker. He shot one of the Joker's henchmen.
Damn.
We hid back in the shadows, and waited to make our next move.
Joker was too busy checking on his dead henchman when my dad went and attempted to shoot him again.
And this time, another henchman.
"Third time is a charm, Amelia," Batman whispered to be as he crept out and took aim to shoot the Joker.
Ready...
Aim....
Fire.....
Batman: 1
Joker: DEAD
"Well it's about damn time I get him," Batman said, turning to me half smiling.
"This ain't the end, but it's one less we have to worry about," Nightwing added.
"No kidding. But let's start heading home, Dad. It's getting late," I said, starting to head for the Batmobile.
