At school I see Harvey with his hood up looking exhausted.
"Bit hangover, are you?" I walk over. "Shut up, your voice is making my head hurt." He puts a hand on his head.
"Sorry sweetheart." I walk away.
"Olivia." I walk over to her. "Maddie." She giggles.
"You, me, shopping, after school." She nods her head. "Yes please."
"I need stuff for Italy." She giggles. "Same. I'm going to have no money after this, but I don't care."
"Wait, I was meant to hang with Nate today." She stops. "Oh no, go with Nate don't worry about this."
"No, I really want to." She looks down at her phone. "Wait, what if he comes with us. I'm sure he needs stuff for Italy." I suggest.
"He was talking about that." She smiles. "But you know who he is going to bring."
"Honestly, I don't care."
"Okay I will text him." She laughs.

The school day went on for forever knowing I have plans on after school.
Olivia and I get into my car and wait for Nate.
"Oh, look who decided to finally join us." Olivia laughs as Nate gets in. Harvey follows in behind. "Oh god." I sigh.
"Don't act like you didn't know it was coming." He goes to turn the radio on, but I slap his hand away.
"I actually really needed some stuff for the trip, so this is perfect." Nate breaks it up. "Same, although my bank account isn't gonna be happy."
"Neither." I connect my phone to Spotify and pull my car out of park.
"Oh my god this is adorable." Olivia holds up a light-yellow swimsuit.
"You need that." I say looking through the racks.
"Mads this would look so hot on you." I let out a laugh as she holds up a Dark blue triangle bikini.
"And it is on sale oh my god." I chuck it in my basket.
"Are you nearly done." Harvey groans. "You didn't have to come." I remind him.
"I need a suitcase." Harvey mutters.
"Once we are done, we will go get you one calm down." I hold up a white flowy dress.
We all pay and head to the luggage store.
"Oh my gosh Mads we should totally get hot pink suitcases." She giggles holding them up.
"Yes please." I say looking at the price tag.
200 dollars??
"I'll check if I have one at home first." I explain.
She wraps her body around Nate as he looks at bags.
"You guys are gross." Harvey says. "No, they are not, it's adorable." I say to him.
He ignores me and picks up a black suitcase and goes to the counter.
"I need a cute makeup bag!" Liv holds up her phone to me.
"Do they have them here?" I ask. "Yes!" She smiles. "We are going."
We look around the next store searching for makeup bags and accessories.
I open a small floral bag to see if it will fit my makeup.
"Hey gorgeous." Someone comes up to me.
"Hi." I politely say.
He looks like he is around 30. Blonde hair and bright blue eyes.
"What you are doing." He moves closer. I step back. "Shopping for a trip."
"Where you going?" He looks me up and down. "Italy!" I smile.
"When?" He stares at me. I don't think I should say it. This guy is weird.
"Nowhere where you will be." Harvey grabs my arm and pulls me away.
"You are so clueless Maddie." He towers over me. "Sorry I didn't realise." I look down.
"Just don't be so stupid next time." He takes me over to the others.
"What's up?" Olivia notices my face. "She nearly got kidnapped." Harvey grumbles.
"You what?" Olivia's face drops. Nate stands behind her confused.
"I did not, he was just talking to me." "Your so dumb." Harvey rolls his eyes.
I ignore him. "He was just talking to me about our trip, and he called me gorgeous." I shrug.
"Oh Mads." Olivia laughs. "Just don't say that to strangers okay." She gives me a pat on the shoulder.
I nod and she takes the makeup bag out of my hand. "This is perfect." "I know right, I'll show you where they are."
She follows and Harvey and Nate stand right behind us.
"Only 12 dollars too, perfect." She grins.
We head to the counter and pay.
Olivia sips her drink. "What's got him in a mood." She nods her head over to Harvey. "He's hungover."
"Oh." She giggles.
I chuck all my stuff on the floor and Liv jumps on my bed. "I'm actually so happy with what we got." She smiles.
"Same." I take a look at the pile of stuff we bought.
"There is exactly 13 days till our trip." A huge smile spreads across her face.
"Oh my god, when we are there maybe I can find a hot Italian boyfriend."
"I don't know if he is Italian, but you basically got one following you around."
It took me a second to realise. "Olivia! You're joking, right?" She shakes her head.
"We can hardly be in the same room together without getting on each other's nerves."
"Enemies to lovers?" she suggests. "Oh my god." I smack her with a pillow.

After Liv leaves, I head down to dinner.
I take a bite of my pasta when Noah announces. "I think I have a girlfriend."
Levi laughs. "You think?"
My mom shushes him and waits for Noah to keep going. He swallows his food. "Her name is Milla and we have been going out for a while."
"And you didn't bother to tell us?" my dad chuckles.
"Well, I didn't want to tell you until it was official."
"That's so good." I smile.
"Thanks, Mads."
"I can't believe baby Noah has a girlfriend." Levi laughs.
"Shut up Levi I am 16." He glares at him.
"We will have to meet her." My mom takes a sip of her drink. "Definitely." Dad nods.
"Okay sweety, how was shopping today did you get stuff done for your trip?" Mom asks.
"Yep, I got a lot. But do we have a suitcase I can use?"
"of course, in the garage." My dad answers.
"Alright thanks. I am practically ready then."
My mom holds squeezes me hand. "We are going to miss you." "Aw mom, I'll miss you too."
"Your gonna have the best time." Levi says. "You went to Paris, right?" I ask him.
"Yeah, we went to the club every night because they don't check ID's." He blurts out.
"I mean, we went to the museum." He reminds my mom.
She ignores him. "Be careful okay sweety." "I will." I smile.
I lay in my bed and read with music blasting in my ears.
My phone dings and I go to see it's from fucking Harvey.
Harvey: help me.
Me: I am trying to read goodbye.
I chuck my phone down but it dings again.
Harvey: What's the answers for maths.
Me: ask your 50 thousand friends.
Harvey: Come on, just give me the answer to B.
Me: only to get you to shut up.
Me: its 325.32
Harvey: thanks, smart head.
