(A/N: There are some parts in spanish, 'Trans' means 'Translation.') :)

Btw this song was playing while I made this so...

~Violet~

It's been a few days since I bought Ashley that book, and I still don't know why I did it.

I would always think about her whenever I would see the book in the library, and it was starting to drive me crazy.

But I managed to hide that because it sounded weird, and I told Ashley I bought it for her because I had tons of money, which I do, but I feel like that wasn't the real reason at all.

I shook my head to push the thought away and continued to put on the necklace my Blair gave me for my fifteenth birthday.

Of course, I was now seventeen and I had more gifts from her, but this one felt special.

Probably because this was the first ever gift she has given me.

I smiled and quickly put on some perfume before getting up and walking over to where my shoes were.

I looked over at all my shoes to see what would fit best with my very mediocre outfit since we were going to the new Arcade store that had opened up a few weeks ago.

I saw my usual black and red shoes and shrugged as I picked them up. I quickly put them on and stood up.

I opened the door to my bedroom then suddenly remembered that I had a crop top on, and my parents wouldn't like that.

Especially since they think I'm straight and that somehow I'll get pregnant just because a boy looked at me.

No boy has ever looked at me and I could tell why.

I looked at myself in the mirror, and I decided not to let my mood be brought down by my own thoughts.

I sighed and buttoned my black leather jacket up, covering my crop top. I walked downstairs towards the living room, and was met with only my mother in the kitchen cooking up a storm.

I guess my father is still not coming back.

I walked over to where my mother was and saw her face twist into disgust.

"Vas a ir con eso?" (Trans: You're going to go with that?)

"Si, que no te gusta?" (Trans: Yeah, what? You don't like it?)

This was always a problem in my household.

My mother has never really liked my outfits or my clothes in general.

They were mostly boy clothes, and I did like to dress girly sometimes, but that still wasn't enough.

"No, pero como quiera no te vas a cambiar porque siempre es tu manera y lo que tu quieres. Te ves como una lesbiana" (Trans: No, but either way you're not going to change because it's always your way and what you want. You look like a lesbian.)

"Ay, por eso nunca te pregunto nada." (Trans: Ugh, that's why I never ask you anything.)

I stormed off with her yelling at me.I slammed my car door shut and let my head hit the steering wheel.

Once I calmed down and choked back the tears, I started the car and made my way to my friends houses.

I first picked up Angelo who was leaning against a tree, holding his girlfriend's hand, Sammy or Samantha.

They got in the back seat and I watched them in the rear view mirror and caught them swapping DNA with each other.

"Eww, get a room and don't get anything on my car seats, because I swear to God Angelo, I will make sure you will never have children. And I don't mean a kick to the nu-"

"Alright! I get it!." Angelo said and pulled away from Sammy.

I chuckled softly to myself and stopped in front of Mia's house.

She was waiting there with Emma. They also moved into the last row of the car.

My car was big enough for a family of seven. There were two back seats separated from each other, the passenger seat, and the driver's seat.

I stopped at Ashley's house and she got into the backseat with Emma and Mia.

Everyone knew who the passenger side was meant for, and it was the last house I had stopped at.

Blair was on her phone as she waited for my car to arrive. She opened the door and got into the passenger side.

She smiled and hugged me.

"Hey." She said as she put her seatbelt on and I started driving down the street once again.

"Hey, you look very pretty today." I said as I took a left.

"Thank you, you do too, babe." I smiled at that and could hear everyone minding their own business, all indulging into their own conversation, while Angelo and Sammy indulged into their mouths making me roll my eyes.

Even if I was in a relationship, couples like that still piss me off. But I can't do anything about it, only if they go too far.

Then they started moaning.

"If they start fucking, I will throw this car off a goddamn bridge. Can someone please tell them to either stop or shut the fuck up. Because I am not afraid to die." I threatened.

They pulled away angrily.

"Save that for the bedroom, and the honeymoon." I joked and pushed down on the pedal, scaring them.

"Violet! Don't do that!" Mia said.

"What? I'm giving you guys a little sneak peek at what will happen if you guys don't keep it in your pants." I said with a smile, as I slowed down again.

"Asshole." Angelo muttered, only making me speed up again.

"Shut the fuck up, I have the power to end all of your lives and I have an alibi." I said with another smile.

                                                                           . . . .

We arrived at the colorful building that in neon bold letters read 'HAVE A FUN TIME, AND IT WON'T COST YOU A DIME.'

"Well, that's a stupid name." Angelo said.

"And you have a stupid face." I said as I unbuttoned my jacket.

"Shut up." He muttered.

I shrugged and made my way inside whilst holding hands with my Blair, but not without feeling eyes staring into my back.

I shook the feeling off and walked over to our reserved table. I sat down and waited for everyone to do the same.

Ashley sat in front of me, Mia sat across from Emma, and Angelo sat with Sammy. And, of course, my Blair sat next to me.

I could see out of the corner of my eye that Ashley was staring at me and my Blair's hands that were intertwined together.

"Hello! Welcome to Barney's Fun Time Arcade! I am your waiter, Jake! What would you guys like to drink on this fine evening." The waiter said, he said as he slicked his blond hair back and stared at us with his big blue eyes.

People with blue eyes seriously creep me out.

I saw Mia getting red and she was the first one to respond.

"Do you guys have alcohol?" Mia blurted out, making everyone shocked.

"Oh!" I said.

"Umm, girl this is an arcade place where some families go."My Blair said.

"Excuse me?" Jake said, also in complete shock.

We all laughed and scolded Mia for saying absurd things.

"Even if they did have alcohol, they wouldn't give it to us, we're underage." Angelo sighed.

"That didn't stop you at Bram's party." Mia clapped back and continued to basically undress the waiter with her eyes.

"Well, we, umm, sadly don't have any beer or stuff like that. But we do have soda." The poor guy tried to not laugh, because it could probably cost him a tip or a bad review on Yelp.

"Yeah, sorry. I would like to have some water." Mia looked so embarrassed and slumped in her chair.

"Dr. Pepper, please." I said as I finished reading the menu.

"Green Tea Arizona for me." Ashley immediately responded.

"Water for me, also." Sammy said.

"Coca Cola." Angelo answered once Sammy finished ordering.

"Dr. Pepper for me as well. Thank you." My Blair said as she smiled at the waiter.

I was a bit confused, because I had never seen my Blair smile at me like that, but I just acted like I didn't notice anything.

"Sprite." Emma said as she also looked like she noticed the same thing as well.

She looked over at me and I quickly acted like I was fine.

"Okay, thank you." The waiter walked away, and Mia checked him out.

"Mia, quit eye fucking the poor guy." Angelo snickered.

"Shut up, and let me be," Mia said as she watched the waiter until he was out of her sight. "That man is basically eye candy. I mean look at his shirt, it's so tight." She was practically drooling and already creaming her pants.

Everyone looked disgusted, and acted like Mia wasn't in heat and started having conversations with one another.

                                                                  . . . .

Our food quickly arrived and we all devoured our food as Jake watched in fear.

We cleaned up and went towards what we came for, the games.

Everyone split up into different groups. Mia with Emma, Angelo with Sammy, Me and my Blair.

"Hey do you want to come with us?" I asked Ashley as I noticed that she was alone.

"Yeah, sure." She smiled.

"Okay, great." I said and made my way towards my favorite game of all time, Guitar Hero.

I picked up one of the guitars and noticed that my Blair didn't join me but Ashley did.

"I don't know how to play, so don't bully me." Ashley joked as she pressed the button to activate the loading screen and I mirrored her actions.

I noticed that my Blair wasn't in my sight anymore, but was quickly pulled away from my thoughts once I heard Ashley's voice.

"What song should we do?" She said as she scrolled with the guitar's strum bar, moving it down and up with her pointer finger and thumb, making me gulp and think some things that are definitely not good for church.

I realized what I was thinking about and snapped myself out of it. I didn't know what I was feeling and shook my head.

"Uhh, let's do 'Hit Me With Your Best Shot'. I'm pretty good at that one." I said as I pressed the green button on the fret bar.

I put my mode into Pro level, for some reason wanting to impress Ashley.

She obviously put it on beginner mode.

I showed her how to play first, making me have to grab her fingers to show her where to put them on the fret bar.

I felt a blush creeping onto my face, and was starting to feel confused.

What's happening to me?

I looked up and noticed that Ashley was staring at me, and I stared back.

I gulped and we locked eyes for a few seconds before I cleared my throat and pressed start.

"Alright, let's play this game before I get hungry again." I joked.

I felt my palms getting sweaty and I started strumming the guitars strum bar while pressing down on the colored buttons.

I slid my fingers down the fret bar whenever the color of the button changed to orange.

"Holy shit, you're pretty good." Ashley said, I looked over at her half of the screen and noticed how she was almost missing all of the notes and was strumming the guitar pretty hard and fast.

"You only have to strum it whenever the notes show up, not all the time." I laughed.

She nodded and slowed down and started hitting all the notes now.

"I'm doing it, Violet! I'm doing it." She said with a smile on her face.

"Oh don't get so excited, you're on beginners mode."

"And don't get so cocky." She responded back.

I chuckled and started playing the game again, now Ashley was slowly catching up to me, and I cursed under my breath.

I hated losing and everyone knew that.

So I made sure to power up every time I got the chance, which I was glad that Ashley didn't know how to do.

In the end, I won.

I laughed at Ashley as she scowled at me.

"You can never beat Violet Garcia, because I am her!"

"Oh shut up." She said as she put her guitar back. Then Jake, the waiter, approached her.

"Hey, it's your waiter Jake, I was just wondering if you were single or something?" He said with a smile on his face.

"Oh yeah, I'm single." She responded back. I put the guitar away and watched the interaction.

"I thought you were very pretty, and I was wondering if you were, maybe, free on Saturday." He said as he handed her a paper.

I felt my eye twitch.

"Yeah, I'm free." She grabbed the paper from her and smiled.

I felt anger. I felt mad. I felt hatred.

I felt confused.

I didn't understand what was happening to me.

He was taking something that wasn't his.

"Don't you have your Art classes on Saturday?" I blurted out.

I was trying to look okay, and not like I was about to rip this guys heart out, which doesn't seem like a bad idea right now.

"Oh, yeah I do. Sorry, maybe a different time." Ashley said as she stuffed the paper into her pocket.

"That's fine, just text me whenever you have time." He winked at her and walked away.

I realized that I have been holding my breath and let go.

"Do you think he's cute?" I asked slowly, afraid of the response, for some reason.

"Yeah, he seems nice." That response made my eyes roll.

"Well, I don't like him. He gives off a bad vibe." I said as I crossed my arms across my chest.

"Really? I mean, he's friendly." She smiled and stared at him from across the room, waving at him.

"You can't trust everyone." I said.

I didn't know why I felt so angry at this encounter.

I hated the feeling.

                                                                   . . . .

I was driving everyone home now and heard everyone talking about Jake.

"No! He was supposed to be for me!" Mia complained once she found out that Jake took an interest in Ashley and not her.

"Well, I'm sorry but I'm just pretty like that." Ashley said as she laughed at Mia's complaining.

"Okay, don't get too ahead of yourself." Angelo added.

"I don't like him." I randomly said.

What was going on with me tonight?

"What are you talking about! That man is so sexy, he's practically a god. I like him." Mia said.

"We know very well that you do, you were almost literally ready to pounce on him the second he came in," Angelo chuckled. "Well, why don't you like him Violet?"

"He just gives me a bad vibe." I said as I stopped at a red light.

My Blair was still on her phone texting someone, but I was too focused on what the task was on to notice.

"I think he's a cool guy." Everyone agreed.

"Well, agree to disagree." I said as I stopped in front of Angelo's house.

"Get out." I added.

He frowned but got out with Sammy.

I continued to drop off the remaining people and was at the last house.

"Bye Ashley, goodnight." I said with a smile.

"Goodnight." She said as she left the car.

I waited there for a while until she walked into her house and drove back home.

I hid my shirt with my jacket and walked in. I quickly walked back upstairs.

I walked into my room and got ready for a shower. Once I finished and got dressed, I started to brush my teeth.

I remembered about the events that happened today and sighed.

I didn't know what those feelings meant.

They can't mean anything. Best friends feel that way for each other.....right?

I finished brushing my teeth and stared at myself in the mirror.

This can't be happening. There's no way I'm falling for my best friend.

Why and how is she making me feel like this?

I shook my head and walked over to my bed. I laid down and let my thoughts run around in my mind.

No, these feelings aren't true, I have a girlfriend. Yeah, I don't like her.

I let myself calm down, and closed my eyes. I sighed and stared up at the ceiling as I continued to let myself rest now.

Arcade games, and Hatred do not go well together.
