"Why should I tell you?" The old man stroked his beard as he glanced at his granddaughter's face. There was no change in her expression, it was almost as if she had already expected it to be like that.
"What about an exchange?"
Grandpa Kim's beard shook as he laughed, "As if I lack anything." Even if he was sitting at home, his net worth could buy a country with the snap of his fingers, what could a little girl like her offer to him?!
"Didn't brother block all your men from reaching out to us?" Her lips lifted ever so slightly while the old man stiffened.
He thought it was supposed to be a grandfather-grandson matter, then how did she know about it?
"Did your brother tell you about it?" He asked.
She shook her head, "Why would he?"
Grandpa Kim sighed. Indeed, why would Taehyung tell her about? As he looked at Lisa, he realized that she grew up too fast, the power and authority she held should've made him happy but he did not feel as such. He just felt a sense of guilt as he looked at her, she did not grow up according to her wish, she had to mature herself forcefully to adjust to the circumstances. And he, as a grandfather, never asked her if she really wanted it. Even when she had chosen the business major, he never asked if she was happy with it, or she was just forcing herself.
While trying to be a good father to his daughter, he never realized if he was being unfair to his grandchildren.
Lisa poked his shoulder as she blinked, "Grandpa..."
The old man came back to his senses. Thinking about it, what she said was quite true, he had assigned his men with the task of protecting his grandchildren and if anything happened to them, he would be the first one to know about it. "It's just a fever, why do you look like I'm about to die?"
Her expression changed in an instant. Did she really look like that...Wait... She looked into his eyes and said, "Even if I look like that, what's wrong with that?" She lowered her hand, her bracelet grazing his chest, her blue eyes sparkling with resolve, "You are my husband. It's only right for me to care...mmph!"
He pecked her lips lightly as he narrowed his eyes, "Stop seducing me."
Jennie blinked. Seduce? When did she do that?
She did not know that her not doing anything was the biggest form of seduction for him.
"You need to take the medicine right now," she frowned as she dragged the man towards the room or that is what she thought because if he really left all his weight on her, then she would not have been able to take another step at all.
After feeding him the medicine and helping him on the bed, just as she stood up and turned around to leave, the man grabbed her hand before pulling her towards himself.
She landed straight on his chest as he softly whispered beside her ear, "I remember someone saying that I'm her husband?"
Jennie blankly looked at the man as he continued, "Then, aren't we supposed to stay in the same room?"
"Eh..?"
Before she could react, a certain fox pulled up the blanket, luring his wife into his trap. He snuggled closer to the woman until there was less than an inch of gap between them.

"I feel so tired, you better not disturb me, got it?" He nuzzled his face in her neck, "Good night...wifey," He whispered before closing his eyes.
'Boom!' A mini blast occurred inside her heart as her face heated up. "Good night," she said before closing her eyes shut, which is why she missed the contented smile on his handsome face.
And just like that, a certain couple had their 'good night' around seven o'clock in the evening.

"Your Father?" Grandpa Kim was stunned. It has been a few days since he told them about everything they knew, yet they managed to find that person so quickly.
"Uh-huh," Lisa nodded.
Grandpa Kim smiled, his face amicable than ever, "Tell me, who is he?"
Lisa raised an eyebrow. Was it that easy? And here she was thinking that the old man would never accept his son-in-law. It was not as difficult as she thought it to be.
Lisa stood up from the sofa as she walked towards the man, gently massaging his shoulders.
"What? Is it that shocking?"
"I don't know," Lisa did not have any idea what would be his reaction after knowing his son-in-law's identity. Surely, one thing was according to the old man's preference. As much he hated poor people, his daughter at least did not marry one. So, maybe the man would be happy..or not?
"Will you tell me now?"
"It's Master Gong..."
Grandpa Kim calmly interrupted her, "Who did you say it was?"
"Err...Master Gong," Lisa glanced at his face, searching for signs of shock, astonishment, or something as such but there was no such reactions on his face.
