Callie pov
It was 4:45.
I fluttered my eyes open and was met with the pitch black of my living room.
I looked and saw Brayden asleep .
It got uncomfortable so I headed upstairs to sleep in my bed.
I slowly crept my way up and stood infront of my door to see some one lying in my bed and the smell of weed.
It was Cole.
I was too tired so I layed down beside him.
His back was facing me and my queen sized bed fit us . Kinda okay.
I pulled the cover over my shoulders and stared up at my ceiling.
"C?" Cole said in a groggy voice
"Mhm?" I said
He turned around and brang my head to his chest.
"You okay kid?" He asked
"Yea" I said
"Mkay. Sleep" he said
And I did.
I was awaken the next morning by chatter.
I fluttered my eyes open and my leg was ontop of Cole's back.
Tom and Tate standing over me.
My hands were on his back too and ine on his neck.
I rolled over and I felt a hand on my shirt.
I rubbed my eyes and open them to see Tate pulling my shirt down.
" what?" I said
"You're shirt was about to fly up" he said
I got up and changed cuz of that comment.
I went down , Cole still asleep.
Everyone besides Indiana , Cole , and Hunter were down.
"Indiana is asleep" Tate said rocking ace back and forth
We spent that day chilling out.

One month has passed since that day. Ace was now almost 2 months old. Indiana had tested positive for PPD. And it took a toll on her. Tate and Tom and I have tried to help her but- it's like she's depressed and not getting out of it. Now that we live together, I pay less attention but- it's obvious. She's not been her ocd self. Happy, content.
When she came home from the appointment she didn't tel us anything and headed straight to the room.
Her parents come into help sometimes. But only Carmel can ever actually help her.
Indiana dressed Ace up as a Ferrari driver. It was so cute. For Halloween.
"Shay!" Cole said as he walked down the stairs.
Cole and Shay had been going to their appointments for the baby. Who was also 2 months.
"Mhm" she said
It was a Saturday afternoon and we were all relaxing.
"Oh there you are" Cole said
Shay was sat beside Cole .
Even though it was like 1:04pm. It was quite dark out.
"It's finna rain" Cole said.
Hunter sat on one side of me, and Tom on the other
I put my leg up on hunters lap.
Smile started playing and the rain suddenly splattered.
Cole closed the blinds and curtains so it was dark.
I leaned my head on Tom who brang m closer.
We started watching until Shay suddenly got up and walked upstairs.
Cole followed after her confused
A loud thunder echoed from outside.
I pressed the button to extend the couch a tiny bit.
I hate horror movies. Hate em.cuz I'm petrified of them and Cole made me stay down.
So did everyone. Ace is alseep in his room.
"Shays stomach is hurting. So Cole's staying up with her" Hunter said
Shay pov
Cole followed me as I got up .
I walked up the stairs feeling an ache in my stomach that made me want to drop to my knees.
I gripped onto the hand railing and held my stomach.
Coles hand met my lower back. He held my hand and I let go of the railing and carefully walked upstairs.
I opened his door and walked in with his behind me.
I changed into an oversized shirt. Coles shirt.
And sat on his bed.
When I turned around he was already laying there. Staring back at me.
"You okay love?" He asked me
"My stomach hurts" I said and layed down next to him .
He pulled me up and started massaging my stomach.
I spread my legs in butterfly position and he rolled my shorts down a bit and pulled my shirt up a bit.
He rubbed some lotion on his hand nd lathered it . Placing it over my stomach.
I let out a sigh of relief as it felt so good.
After 15 minutes of massaging. The pain didn't go away.
If anything it got worse.
We had been up here for an hour .
"Baby." He said to me and I turned over and he pulled me to a hug.
"I love you" he whispered and kissed my cheek.
"I love you too" I said kissing his lips
The pain never left but I did feel a lot better.
"Shay do you want any medicine? Ik your stomach still hurts" he told me .
"Yes please thank you" I said
He texted someone and minutes later there was a knock at my door.
Hunter stood in the doorway .
"You good?" He asked me and I gave him a thumbs up.
"I got Tylenol " he said
I immediately took the bottle and took out one pill and took it.
"My stomach still hurts " i said
Hunter passed Cole a heat pad and a hot towel
"Im not on my fucking period what is a heat of finna do" I said
I realized what I just said. And I sounded rude
"Wait I'm sorry idk what came over me. I meant like. It won't do anything. But thank you tho" I said
"It's ok. Don't worry " he said
"Callie got scared of the movie cuz of the jump scare " Hunter said and Cole chuckled and rubbed my stomach.
"Idk how Indiana did this" I complained
"Babe. Your strong. You'll be okay." Cole said to me
"You'll be fine." Hunter said
I groaned clenching my stomach . I knew in the back of my mind this wasn't normal.
But I didn't wanna worry Cole or Hunter.
He left and I ended up trying to sleep for 3 hours or so but didn't work until finally I fell asleep.
I fluttered my eyes open realizing the pain had descended. It was still there but less.
I got up realizing Cole wasn't next to me.
I drank some water before heading down the stairs.
I looked at my phone .
7:20
I walked down the stairs as Cole walked over to me.
"You okay now?" He asked and I shook my head.
"It's gone away partly but still there." I said
"Okay" he said and rubbed my shoulders
"You feel any better?" Hunter asked me
I shook my head.
"Wait so what r u feeling?" Indiana asked
"My here hurts" I said rubbing my stomach
"Like you'll get cramps but it's never that painful and Ik you have a high pain tolerance " she said
"Yea. No but it was hurting really badly." I said
"Mkay." She said nodding
I stayed standing up after Cole offered me a seat.
They all started talking about something but I wasn't paying attention.
I was looking over at Indiana who had bags under see her eyes.
"You okay Shay? I look a lil pale" Indiana said and everyone turned to me and I nodded
"Sit" Hunter said practically pushing me o to the chair
I layed my head on the counter . Cole rubbing my back as they continued their conversation.
After 10 minutes I got thirsty and got up to fill some water in my cup.
I got up and immediately felt light headed .
But I ignored it.
I grabbed a glass and filed it up and started drinking it.
I carefully placed my cup down and leaned over the counter. Hunter was stood next to me and Cole a lil further away.
My legs felt light. My head felt light. And my vision went blurry.
Next thing I know my vision went black.
Cole pov
"And I'm pretty sure -" I started
There was a slam
I looked over
"Fuck" Hunter said
His arms were under her , holding her up. Her legs bent and her head down.
Her arms started slipping .
Within a flash of, I jumped up.
Hunter layed her down on the floor.
"Shay." I said and tapped her cheek
She didn't move and everyone was in shock with what had just happened.
"Shayana ." Hunter said and hit her shoulder.
Nothing .
I grabbed ice from her cup and poured the water on her head .
Rubbing the ice with it.
"Holy shit" Indiana said
"Shay. Babe wake up" Indiana said
I looked over my shoulder and saw Brayden staring at Callie who was staring at me.
And I knew exactly why.
"Fuck" I said
She had passed out when Callie Miscarried
"Cole-" Brayden chocked out.
"I know" I said and put my head to her stomach
I knew I wouldn't be able to hear anything but- a sign would be helpful.
"No no no" I said
Hunter pulled her up and put her on the sofa
"Take her to the er right now" Brayden said
"Fuck!" I yelled and ran upstairs
I opened my door and grabbed her hoodie and a pair of sweatpants .
I stuffed them into my duffel bag, and I grabbed her wallet and everything she might need, including our chargers and her phone .
I grabbed my stuff and put a hoodie over myself and looked at myself in the mirror and wiped a single tear that was forming.
She'll be fine.
I ran down .
Hunter caught the hoodie and helped me put it on her.
I put slides on her feet.
"I'll carry her" Hunter said picking her up and opening the door .
He set er on the passenger side and I threw the bag into the back.
"Could you call her mom?" I asked him and he nodded
"It's okay Cole. She'll be okay." He said and I leaned forward on the wheel.
He patted my shoulder.
"I can't loose this kid" I said and rubbed my eyes
"I know." He said
"Imma call Grace and I'll call u." He said and I nodded and buckled her in.
"Thank you. " I said to him and he nodded
"Mkay. Love you dude. Stay safe and call me for anything " he said and I nodded .
I backed out rolling up the windows and held onto her limp hand.
"Baby please wake up" I said
I squeezed her hand.
30 minutes later, we reached the ER
We went in, and I told one of the nurses what had happened and she immediately got a room apparently being pregnant and passing out, was like life-threatening .
One of the nurses did a quick ultrasound on her, and there was no heartbeat .
I had received a call from Hunter a minute ago, saying that that Shay's parents are on her way, including her brother .
And I had to be the one to tell them that the baby didn't make it .
"Hunt." I said
It was a FaceTime call so he could see my face, and he knew exactly
"I'm so sorry." He said
I wanted to cry. But I'm a man. Men never cry.
"It's okay" I said and sighed
I heard muffling in the back.
I saw Hunter look up and shake his said
"Oh no." I heard Hunter say
"I love you coco" Callie said
"Love you too cc" I said
"Mr. Lord." The nurse said and nurses followed her
I looked up
"She has to have emergency surgery. We are taking her in now. You can stay in the room until then. " she said and my heart shattered
"Okay. Her parents are gonna be here soon. " I said and Shay was taken out.
"My condolences sir" she said and I bit down hard on my lip.
She walked out and I looked back at Hunter and his lip was bitten.
"I hope all goes well" he said
"Me too." I said
. Me too.
"I'm gonna- uh- I'll call u later for any news" I said and he nodded and I hung up.
I walked to the bathroom .
I rubbed my eyes and looked up at my reflection.
Tears trickled down my cheeks and I wiped them.
Minutes later I received a call from Alex.
"We're here." He said
"Ok. 345" I said
5 minutes later the door opened and the three of them stood infront of me.
I got up and hugged Alex and her dad.
"Did the baby-" she started and I shook my head
She hugged me .
"It's okay honey" she said to me and I wiped my eyes.
"Yea" I said
We started talking for an hour and a half and the doctor came in.
" surgery went well. They removed the tissue and she'll be back here within 5-10 minutes." The doctor said.
Hunter pov
I got off the call with Cole, and I looked up at everyone who was eyeing me.
I shook my head
"Ah shit" Tate said
"It's okay. She went to emergency surgery." I said
Callie sat next to me and I hugged her
"Guys. When she comes back don't mention it to her. She's already going to be in a state. " I said
I woke up that bext morning.
I immediately called Cole.
"Any news?" I asked
The phone was passed to Shay and I smiled
"Heyyy!" I said
"Hey." She said
"You okay? " I said
"Yea." She sighed
"How r u feeling?" I asked
"I'm ok-"
"SHAY!" Callie screamed and bust into my room and jumped into my back
I groaned
"Hey pumpkin" she said
"HI! R u okay?!" Callie said sitting on my back
"Yea. Thank you" she sighed
"Look I have a huge incision " she said and there was a huge mark with stitches on them on her stomach.
"I'm getting discharged today . So I'll be home." She said and a tear glided down her cheek.
"Ok good" Callie said
"Okay. -" Cole said and he looked at me
"Callie. wtf r u doing?"cole said
"Ew." Callie said and rolled off of me.
"Rude. Anyway. Uh- is she still there?" Cole asked me
I nodded
"Callie get out" Cole said and I looked over my shoulder
She walked out and closed my door and I looked at him.
"She doesn't want the kidsseeing her in- 'this state' so only you can come. No one else. " Cole said
"Imma be there in an hour " I said and he nodded
"Bye!" I said
I heard Shay say bye and then Cole hung up.
Got out of bed and walked down in my sweats.
I started making breakfast.
Avocado toast.
I chopped up some cherry tomatoes and feta blocks and avocado ofc.
Indian walked out In shorts and a tank top.
"Morning" she said holding Ace.
Ace was a lot more talkative. And he had grown
"Hey lil man!" I said
Ace cooed
"Ace wouldn't stop whining all night" she said and put her meds in her mouth and dry swallowed them.
Tom and Brayden and Callie walked down together.
"I'm going to see Shay so I'm leaving in a bit" I said
"Can I-" Callie started
"You can't. Cole said no one besides me." I said
"Aw." She said
"You'll see her . She's coming home" I said
Tate walked out and I handed them food
"Tate. Watch them till I get back" I said taking the last bite of my food and headed up to get ready
"You guys need anything?" I asked
They all shook their heads.
"Okay." I said and headed out .
I listened to some music and stopped to get mnms and Swedish fish.
Coles favorite and shays favorite.
I pulled up to the hospital
I walked to room 345 and the time read 12:45.
I knocked then walked in.
Shays brother and mom and Cole sitting on chairs and Shay on the bed.
"Hey" I said and Cole got up
"Catch." I said and threw the Swedish fish on her lap.
"Thank you" she said and I was about to throw Cole the mnms.
He stood at the end.
I stood back and threw them to him and he caught it.
I sat next to him.
"Long time no see" Alex said
"Literally " I said and gave him a bro hug
"You doin better ?" I asked her leaning back into the chair.
She nodded sadly and started eating the Swedish fish.
"I have to run, I'm so sorry baby " Grace said looking at her phone.
"Bye my ducklings!" She said and Alex got up with her.
I hugged her and so did Cole .
I sat back down.
"She thinks I'm mad at her" Cole whispered
I looked at him oddly.
And he shrugged
We spent the next 2 hours talking and the nurse came in.
Along with one of the hottest women I've ever seen. Margret.
"I knew it was you" she said coming up to hug me and I hugged her back.
"You feeling okay hun?" Margret asked Shay and she nodded
"Mkay. Good." Margret said checking her blood pressure.
"You guys are always here. Idk how they don't have a room for you yet" she joked
We all laughed Exept for Shay.
I stopped laughing after I took notice. So did Cole.
"Here r the discharge papers, sign them and then you're free to leave" she said handing them to Cole.
"Thank you" Shay said and she exited
He quickly signed them as well as Shay.
He helped her to the bathroom to change and 10 minutes later she came out in black sweatpants and a cropped tank top.
"Ready?" I said and they both nodded .
The pain on her abdomen was excruciating so she could hold herself upright properly.
I brang her wheel chair from next to the door and then Cole helped her sit.
She looked exhausted.
We went to our cars .
"I'll see you at home" I said and he waved back at me.
40 minutes later. Cuz of lunch traffic. On a Sunday?.
We reached home.
I got out and aligned the bag over my back and Cole carried a sleeping Shay.
I opened the door and was met with stares.
Cole immediately went upstairs and I followed him.
He set her on the bed and she whinced .
I set the bag on the floor
He tucked her in and kissed her head and we both headed to my room to let her rest.
I sat in the corner of my bed and he sat across from me.
"Why is she mad at you" I asked
"She thinks it's her fault. " he said
"It's not her fault " I said
"I know but- I hate myself for making her think that." He sighed
"She kept on saying. 'I'm so sorry' for so long. She said it to me before she dozed off and I reassured her it wasn't." He said
"She'll understand " I said
He sighed
"We can't try for another 2 months." He said
"Aw. Did I'm sorry " I said
"It's okay. I had it coming anyway " he said shifting lis leg.
"You know it's not your fault. Or hers. Or anyone's?" I said trying to reassure him.
We went into a few conversation for about 1 hour until Callie busted in and sat on Cole's lap
"Hey" he said hugging her
"Is she okay?" Callie said
"Just upset " he said
"She's making some weird noise" she said and me and him immediately sprinted up.
He opened the door and she was sitting on the edge with her palms to her face
"I'm so sorry. Cole it's all my fault I'm sorry " she cried
"Hey." He said and hugged her
I left them so they could have their time.
I walked downstairs and grabbed a protein bar from the cabinet and began eating it .
"She okay?" Tom asked
"She's quite upset." I said
"My mom is coming over in like 10 minutes. I told Cole he said it was okay" Indiana said and I nodded
And 15 minutes later , Carmel was in our living room.
She knew everything that had happened with Shay because Cole had told her.
"Where is she." Carmel asked after we all greeted her and playing with Ace for a while.
"Up" Tom said
"Cole!" Callie said
He came down the stairs .
"Hey Carmel!" He said and hugged her.
"I wanted to talk to Shay. " she said
"Uh-" Cole said
"It's quite useful." She said
"Okay. " he said and she followed him up the stairs.
Cole pov
I entered my room and Shay was sat in that same place.
"Hey sweetie " Carmel said and Shay hugged her back
"Hi Miss Carmel" Shay said
"Oh honey. No formalities. Carmel is perfect." She said and Shay smiled
"Look. I wanted to tell you something. And I think it may help. But you too can't tell the twins this . They are going to be shocked." Carmel said and me and her looked at eachother then cback at Carmel.
Carmel sat on my chair and placed her hands on Shays knees.
"I went through the same thing honey." Carmel said and Shay looked up. I was shocked and so was she.
"Wait. Really " Shay sniffled
Carmel nodded
"This was 2 years before the twins were born. They would have had an older brother." Carmel said.
"Holy meatballs" I said
"I found out I was pregnant . I told Kyle and he was very happy. Like Cole. I told your mom Cole. And your dad. They were so happy max and him would be best friends. But at around 18 weeks, i had uh- I had started getting cramps then I ended up passing out at work. And I found out he had passed honey. And I'm telling you it gets better." She said rubbing her leg
"It may not feel like it but within weeks after grieving, I finally was able to go back to my normal self. I know how hard it is hun. I really do. So if you ever want to talk. Text me or call me. Cole has my number. But honey, don't be to hard on yourself about it because I'm telling you it will all work out in the end." She said
"I didn't even get to know the gender" Shay said
"It's okay honey. But it's hard for the first couple days. But honey. Don't be to hard on yourself for something you can't control." She said
"Thank you" Shay said
"Really. Thank you. I needed that" Shay said and hugged Carmel.
"Anytime sweetheart " Carmel said hugging her back.
She wiped her tears and went to the bathroom .
"I remember when I told you and Tate I was having a boy. You two were so happy. You started jumping up and down and Tate clapped his hands.here I even have the picture after I told you." She said and pulled up a picture.
Shay came out and she looked better .
She took a look at the picture.
It was a picture of all of us. Carmel and Kyle were in the middle with my in carmels arms and Tate in Kyle's arms .
My parents were standing beside us and my mom was pregnant with max.
"Awww! It's little Cole!" Shay said
"I know isn't it adorable!" Carmel said
At that moment she had received a call and had to leave.
" I really wanna look at the old photo albums like the baby albums with all of us" I said
"I wanna see" Shay said
"Come on." I said and grabbed her hand.
I helped her walk down the stairs .
I helped her sit on the sofa next to Hunter .
I went to my parents office. For the first time actually getting a good look at it.
I had been thinking to clear out everything and make into my office .
But I couldn't get myself to do it.
Half term is coming up so it's a good idea to do it . And Callie wanted to redo her room and I wanted to do some stuff to the house.

I had always been thinking to extend the house on the back living room . because we always have people over and a lot of people tend to sleep over and instead of just having them sleep in the rooms, I would create a room with like 5 beds to sleep on. Because Ken and Indiana and Brayden and Tom always have their friends over as well as me and Tay and Hunter and Shay.
Stringing myself out of my thoughts
I looked through his endless bookshelves and finally found 7 albums
There was one for each of us, and then there was one for all the siblings and for my parents wedding .
All of the lords took their albums and set them down to everyone could see.
"Aw." Shay said
"Look!" Callie said and showed hers.
It was me and her when I was 13 .
We were outside in our pool and she was in my shoulders.
"Awwww!" Hunter said looking at Tates.
I looked at his and it was him and Tom in a bathtub .
Tom was sitting on Kyle's lap and Tate was on his shoulders.
We finally flipped through all of our albums, and decided to move on to the one with all of us in it .
We flipped through some very stupid pictures of my and Tate .
Then there was one photo that sprang me .
"Wait go back" I said and Tate flipped the page back.
I took the picture out the pocket and started at it.
It was a picture of all 5 of us.
Me Tate max Brayden sitting bunched together. Callie was in my lap. Playing with my shoe lace.
There was another picture of all of us on the kitchen counter eating icecream.
I took that one out too.
I plipped the page . I was sitting on the back sofa and all of us were sat and I held Callie in my arms. Like a baby.
She was about 5. And I was kissing her cheek and idk what we were watching but she was invested.
I took that one out too.
There was another one. Of when she was a bit bigger. It was taken on this sofa.
Brayden's head was on one side and Callie was resting with her head on my chest.
I took that out.
"I remember when you were cute and innocent." I said to Callie.
"Yea. I liked u better then" Tate said
"Im kidding " Tate said
She got up and walked away
"Callie!" He said following her
She opened the freezer putting some ice.
"I didn't mean it I was kidding " Tate said putting his arms around her shoulders.
"You should cut your hair" Tate said looking to Indiana . Her hair was open draped over the back of the sofa
I heard Tate scream
"CALLIE IM GONNA FUCKING KILL YOU!" He yelled.
He took his wet shirt off and Callie ran out the front door
"What did she do?" I asked
"Bitch threw water all iver me" Tate said and started to chase her.
The windows were open so we could see them running around the front yard .
"Oh dear." I said and got up
Callie ran in through the back door with Tate Right behind her even though she got a minutes head start.
I looked at Callie and she was immediately tackled to the ground my Tate.
"OW!" She yelled
"Asshole " she mumbled and he punched her stomach.
"Stfu you piece of shit. Don't fucking throw water at me because you remember when I punched that whole? In the wall? Next time that punch will be your fucking face." He seethed
"Okay okay calm down you two." I said
"No . Why the fuck would you say that you perra." Callie said and I held back a gasp.
"Oh no you did not" Tate said
"Fuck you Tatum." She said
"Kill your self." He said and she looked him in the eyes.
"I will." She said smirking.
"Okay this is too far" I said
I pulled Tate off of Callie and Hunter held Callie back as they started screaming at eachother
"You are a shit brother and always have been" she yelled
"I WISH YOU WERE NEVER FUCKING BORN! YOU KNOW HOW EASY LIFE WOULD HAVE BEEN WITHOUT YOU?! Without having a pest following you every where you go?! " Tate said and her face dropped
"I hate you Tate." She said
"Okay hate is a strong word" I said
"I hate you too" he said
She started to lunge forward out of hunters grip and so did Tate. But because of the fact, I had no clue where this was heading my palms got a little bit sweaty from nervousness.
Hunter looked down at my hands
'Slipping' I mouthed
And in one swift move I let go of Tate . But he was too fast .

"Tate! How the fuck could you say something like that. Are you fucking serious?" I said
Callie's tears well up in her eyes and she ran upstairs in tears.
Tate grabbed Ace from Indianas grip and I followed him as he slammed the door shut.
"Oh dear" Shay said
"I'll go and talk to her." Indiana said
Hunter and Tom walked up with her
Callie quickly ran back down with tears in her eyes. And banged on his door
"AND YOU KNOW WHAT?! THAT NIGHT WHEN I HELD THE KNIFE TO YOUR THROAT?! I FUCKING WISH I HAD SLIT YOU FUCKING THROAT OPEN!" She screamed
"Callie-" I said
"No! " she yelled and Tate bust open his door.
"I hope you cut yourself and bleed out in a bathtub." Tate seethed
Everyone was shocked
Indiana got up and walked into the room Furious.
And I've not heard good things about when she's mad
"Oh shit" Tom said looking at the door.
"Pray" Brayden said Callie stormed back up
"He's got our dad's anger." I said
"I'm gonna talk to Callie" Tom said and went up
I heard muffled shouting from the other side of the door.
"YOU CANT FUCKING SAY THAT SHIT TO YOUR SISTER TATUM! YOU CANT?! IMAGINE IF SOMEONE SAID THAT SHIT TO YOU! HOW FUCKING HURTFUL THAT IS? I HAD TO SIT BACK AND WATCH YOU KNOWING I COULDNT DO ANYTHING! YOU NEED TO BE A FUCKING MAN TATE! YOUR 23. 23 AND TELLING YOUR 17 YR OLD SISTER THAT?! GO FUCKING APOLOGIES RIGHT FUCKING NOW OR IM FUCKING LEAVING AND IM TAKING ACE WITH ME!" She shouted
"YEA?! WHERE THE FUCK R U GONNA GO?! UR PARENTS HOUSE?!" He yelled back making Ace cry.
"Fuck you tate . Call me when you finally decide to apologize " she said and the door bust open and Indiana was carrying Ace in her hands
"CALLIE!" Indiana yelled and stormed up
I followed her
"Baby cmon let's go." She said grabbing Callie's hand and forcing her down the stairs
"Cole I'll be back" Indiana said and calmed a crying Ace down.
She took his bottle and her car keys and slipped on her shoes.
"Give me Ace" Tate seethed . Fists clenched.
Oh no.
"No. I'm taking him with me." Indiana said
"No the fuck your not" Tate said and stormed towards
"TATE get the fuck away from her." Indiana said mentioning Callie who was right beside her.
"Move bitch." Tate said and pulled the back of Callie's shirt making her fall back on her head
"TATE STOP IT!" Indiana said tears welling up.
Hunter picks Callie up and she's still crying.
I hug her and give her a kiss
"Tate. Dude stop." Hunter said
"Fuck off." Tate seethed
Hunter looked at me for approval of something and I nodded.
Hunter went between the two . He gently pushed Callie out the door and then pulled Tate off of her
"TATE STOP!" Brayden and I screamed.
There was now a huge scratch on Indianas arm and blood slowly oozing from it.
Tom came in between the two and pushed Tate off of her .
Finally giving her a chance to flee.
"Tate stop this bs." I said and pushed him into his room
Brayden and Tom went with the two.
Tom pov
Callie was in tears. Indiana was furious.
"I'm so sorry about Tate. I really am I've never seen him act out like that. Indiana I'm so fucking sorry." Cole said to her.
"It's okay. I know he's never like this." She said
"Callie ." Cole said
Cole looked to Indiana and she unlocked the doors and he walked around and opened her door and hugged her as she sobbed into his arms.
"Baby I'm so sorry ." Cole said
"I'm so sorry." He continued
"Indiana r u sure you are gonna take ace?" Cole said to her
She nodded
"Yea. " she said gripping her wheels.
"Holy shit" Cole said and leaned over the console and touched her arm.
"It's fine" she said
"I can-" Cole said
"Cole. Thank you. But I'll be fine." She said
He gave Callie a kiss on her forehead.
"My head hurts." Callie said
"It's okay. We are gonna do a quick stop at the pharmacy." She said and started driving.
She played some music and Ace cooed.
"I'm dropping Ace off at mom's." Indiana said to me.
Indiana pov
I was furious.
Shocked
And sad at the same time.
I started driving and I pulled up to my house.
"Tom. You're gonna have to." I said
He slung the diper bag over his shoulders and carried Ace out his car seat and kissed his head
My mom opened the door and tried to walk to me but Tom stopped her.
I waved n she waved back.
Tom came back in. And cuz the car seat was gone, more space.
I drove to Walgreens and I went inside .
I grabbed a first aid kit, pain killers , already cold ice packs and some other stuff.
I looked at my shirt and realized it was bloody.
Shit.
I checked out quickly and came back to the car.
"Tom is there a bag in the trunk?" I asked he leaned over and nodded passing it to me.
"Thank you." I said
I placed it on my lap and drove to the back of the building where no one would see us.
I opened the first aid kit and pills handing 2 to Callie who drank some water with it.
I opened the bandaid and moved her hair back and taped the small cut on her head.
I moved the collar of her shirt aswell and put some antiseptic and put a bandaid on her.
I then rolled up my sleeve and Brayden dabbed the blood off. Callie looked away and so did Tom.
He bandaged my arm and a cut on my collar.
"Done" he said.
"Hol up" I said and dug through a bag of extra clothes I had sitting in my car.
"Cals" I said and she looked at me.
"Choose" I said and she smiled and found a top she wanted to wear.
I found an old cropped tank top .
"Boys turn around" I said
They both turned away.
Callie and I took off our shirts and quickly put on a new one. Mines was bloosied up a bit and so was hers.
I told them it was okay and put our clothes in a bag.
"Oh my god" Tom said
He stared at Callie.
She had stopped crying.
"Callie lift up your shirt " Tom said
"Dude" Brayden said and waked his head
"Brayden. Stop. No I'm not kidding look" I said
Callie lifted her shirt up a tad bit and all I saw were bruises
Brayden snapped a picture and sent it to Cole.
And seconds later Shay h called
"Hey Shay? How are you feeling" i said
"Better. R u okay? Is Callie okay?" She asked
"Hey. I'm fine. I hope ur feeling better " she said
"Thank you. " she said
"Hey- I'm uh- I'm really sorry you had to see that- I'm you just got out of surgery n shit and I hope your okay." I said
"Yea I'm okay. Just checking In to see how you guys are. Cals? R u okay babes? Indiana you? Is Ace okay?" She asked
"Ace is at my mom's, we're okay but Callie has cuts and a big bruise and a headache. I have a gash on my arm and collar." I said
"Oh dear." She said
"Callie?" Cole said
"You okay?" He continued
"Yea." She said
"I saw the bruise. And don't worry. I'm gonna get Tate back in whatever he took in highschool. " he said
"Tate get your ass back here" Cole shouted
"No!" He said
"Indiana?" Tate said and I heard some shuffling
"FUCK OFF!" He screamed and slammed the door shut. I could hear it
"Well. He's gone. If u wanna come home. I'm not gonna stop him." Cole said
"We'll be back in 1 hr or 2." I said
"Mkay. Stay safe and I'll meet u at home." Cole said
"Bye!" The boys said and I hung up.
"My head still hurts" she groaned
Her eyes were red and puffy.
I rubbed her back
"Thank you" Callie said
"For what?" I said starting the car
"For defending me." She said smiling and I hugged her
"Love you guys" I said looking in the mirror
"Love you too" Tom and Brayden said
I pulled out and we drove and got chick fil a
"Callie r u okay?" Brayden said to her as she leaned forward
"Mhm" she said
"What happened?" Brayden said and I looked at her
"I can't see- like it's all blurry." She said
"Sit in the back with me." Brayden said .
Tom got out taking her spot.
We finished eating and after 3 hours of being out. We headed home.
I pulled up to the driveway of my house and picked Ace up .
I got out this time.
"Hi baby!" I cooed and kissed his lips.
I put his seat back up. And placed him inside.
I played too many nights as we drove
I pulled out and took a deep breath.
I picked up Ace and Brayden held the diper bag and Tom helped Callie cuz her vision was still blurry from the fall.
The 3 were sitting on the sofa
Tom helped Callie on the sofa and Cole immediately hugged her
" you doing better? " Hunter asked me and I nodded
"I'm gonna uh- I'm gonna head to sleep for a bit." I said
"Yea ofc" Shay said hugging me
"Wait- lemme see the cut" Cole said
I unbandaged it a bit and he and Hunter and Shay were shocked
"He left. Idk to where but - he's not coming back for a while. As in hours." Cole said
"Callie r u okay" Hunter said
"Yea. " she said
Cole took his hoodie off handing it to her and she carefully put it on.
"She said her vision was blurry in the car" Tom said
"If Tate gave you a fucking concussion. I'm going to fucking kill him." Cole seethes
"Yep" Brayden and Tom agreed
Callie put the hood over her head and layed back.
Hunter moved so she had space and was next to Cole.
I put an ice pack on her head and he smiled
"Cmon acey." I sighed and walked into the room
"Do you want me to take him? So you can rest." Shay asked
"You should be resting. And thank you but it's okay. " I said and she smiled and nodded.
I went into the room and took my bra off and plugged in my phone.
It was 6pm .
I tied my hair up and layed Ace down next to me in his bassinet.
I closed my curtains and shut off the lamp and layed in bed.
Tears falling down my eyes again.
I closed my eyes and let the darkness take over
