''God couldn't you love me just a little'' i muttered to myself. I had just gotten home after dropping Kate home and my First stop was the toilet where Ive been spilling my guts. I had been that scared of the situation that my stomach became sensitive.
''Oh hunny are you okay? you look pale'' I turned to see Kayla, Tyler's mom she was very beautiful. She's been visiting very frequently lately and my dad was ecstatic he loved his best friend and he needed the adult presence.
''UM.. i guess .. i don't know'' i said honestly i got up on wobbly feet holding on to the sink. ''Dear'' Ms Cromby said rushing over to me to give me a helping hand. ''You don't have fever so that;s goo'' she said touching my neck and head. ''Let;s get you to bed Dear'' Walking over to my bed she helped me out my clothes and into my PJ's i couldn't help but miss my mother in times like this, i miss her with every fiber in me. Laying down i stared at her as she looked like she was studying me.
''Ms Cromby you okay?'' i asked getting nervous at her stare. ''Bella i would think i'm family call me Kayle please'' she asked as i nodded feeling a little light headed. ''Bella , sweetheart i'm going to ask you something? you don't have to answer if you don't want to'' she said in a calm voice as if i would snapped at any moment. ''Sure Kayla'' i said honestly, she always made me feel comfortable she was a great women. I sat up waiting for her what I'm guessing is a personal question. she took a shaky breath.
''Sweetie are you sexually active?'' she questioned with a serious face, i froze. What was i going to say? yes!, no! ''Hunny i know i'm not your mom, i've never had a daughter and i would like to be their for you as a mother figure if you allow me to'' she said softly caressing my cheek. Tears fell down slowly i couldn't help it, i've never had a mother figure and i would love to have one.
'' I would love that Kayla thanks'' i said as she smiled cleaning my tears. ''So, have you?'' she asked waiting for my reply ''Yes'' i croaked a little scared, wondering if she would get mad or tell my dad. ''Don't be scared Hun your 18 already and i wont tell your dad till your ready'' she said answering my unspoken question, i wondered how she knew i wasn't a virgin was it that noticeable? ''Why?'' i asked before i lost the courage.
'' I don't wanna scare you but i've been threw it before the vomit, light headiness, increase of sexual needed, weight.. Are you going threw any of that?'' she asked. I was taken back not only because i em but because i wasn't sure what she was trying to say really. ''Um yes'' i dropped my head embarrassed. '' Hun have you use protection?'' SH!T, SH!T, SH!T how can i be so stupid oh god i couldn't be, as if seeing my horrified face she embraced me.
''I'ts okay. Your not alone in this well get threw it together'' she said massaging my hair as i sobbed. Times like this is when i needed my mother, her hugs, kisses, comfort. But i was grateful to have Kayla here with me. ''Dear who's the father? i promise well work this out if you are well talk to him and his parents'' she said looking at me, if it was a different situation i would of laughed because she is the parent.
She stayed patiently waiting for my answer as she held my hands, i had to tell her some time as she would find out anyway, sucking in a deep breath i let it out ''Tyler'' she froze as she paled never leaving my eyes,i began to panic as 2 minutes past by. Kayla shot up from her seat breathing slightly heavier ''T.Tyler...m.my Tyler?'' she stuttered, her reaction scared me and i hoped that she wouldn't be mad at me for ruining Tyler's life.
''Yes. im sorry if yo..'' she held up her hand stopping me ''No Dear. I'm not mad I'm ecstatic'' She said as her eyes became watery ''I Might be a grandmother and i couldn't be happier it's you..i..i need to get you test yes many'' she said pacing back and forth with the biggest smile i've ever seen on her pretty face. ''i'll be back in 10'' With that she was out the door. Even after she left i stood frozen in my spot em i really pregnant? how long em i? would Tyler be happy? would it be boy or girl? so many questions i didn't know how i was going to tell him.
Slowly i put my and on my flat stomach and smiled thinking that something me and Tyler made is growing in me. ''Back'' Kayla shouted bringing me out my daydream she handed me a plastic bag, opening it their were 4 test each different '' We have to make sure so i got you 4 all you gotta do is insert some urine into it and wait 3 minutes now go!'' she urged helping e out the bed i couldn't help but giggle at her eagerness.
She smiled at me shifting from each foot. entering the bathroom i took a deep breath feeling queasy again slowly i made my way to the toilet and sat down reading the instructions 2 would should be a line which is negative, and 2 lines for positive the other 2 test would say pregnant or not. I grabbed the plastic cup that was inside the bag as well and did my business following the directions to all 4 i placed them straight like it said and waited.
In my whole life 4 minutes never felt like eternity like it did now, my palms were sweaty, my stomach clench and my head was pounding. ''You okay hunny?'' Kayla asked from outside, i could tell she was eager to know. ''Yeah i'm going to check them now'' i said as i made my way to the test, picking up the 1st one i nearly collapsed 2 lines, positive. The 2nd 2 lines, 3rd pregnant, 4th pregnant.
I couldn't believe it i was going to be a mother to Tyler's baby, the love of my life made me a mom i walked out the bathroom not feeling my limbs .''Whats wrong Bella?'' Kayla asked rushing to me, at that moment i broke down crashing to the floor i was scared but most of all happy so happy. ''I'm going to be a mother'' i told her as we locked eyes, her eyes watered.
''i..i'm going to be a grandmother'' She broke down sobbing harder than me, she brought me to her lap and hugged me tightly as we sobbed together. Even tho i just found out I'm pregnant i loved my baby, i loved the father more, i loved her grandmother more as she comforted me i was happy i was complete. ''Oh hunny.. my love... thank you so much for making me a grandmother, thank yo..'' ''YOUR PREGNANT?'' we both snapped to my room door.
''Clayton'' i said crying, i ran to him as he embraced me. ''SHh it's okay Bells'' he said rubbing my back. ''I'm going to be a mom Clay can you believe it??"' i asked smiling from ear to ear.. ''I can't but congrats, does Tyler know?''..... he asked smiling at me.
''No me and Kayla just found out'' i said as Kayla walked to us hugging me once again placing kisses on my head the feeling she gave me was overwhelming. ''Thanks Kayla for everything, For being a mother to me'' i croaked at the end.
'' No baby girl thank you for making me a grand mother, but. You wasn't feeling good so bed now, Help her son. I need you and my grand baby health i'll call my private doctor and schedule you a appt ill be right back'' she said skipping out the door like a little girl.
''She seems happy'' Clayton said as he helped me to the bed. ''Yeah before you came we were crying for a while. i cant believe it Clay me and Ty made a baby our baby and your going to be a uncle'' i said, his face lit up in excitement as he rubbed my flat belly.
''That's great Bell ima be a great uncle i hope its a boy i'll teach him all i know and if its a girl ima have to by a gun'' he said sighing i laughed at him, already getting protective typical Clay. ''So when are you going to tell My son He's going to be a dad?'' Kayla asked walking back in.
''Don't now... his birthday is in a week and 4 days i can tell him than'' i suggested as they both nodded in agreement. ''Well i got you a appointment for this Friday at 12'' she said as i nodded, i would of been going to the party that day but since me and Matt are not together and my pregnancy i wont be going.
''That's great can't wait...Oh Clay what are you doing here anyway?'' i asked now noticing he's here alone. ''Tyler had practice so he send me to check and see if you was okay, how did the break up go?'' he asked, i couldn't tell him the whole story he would also kill Matt even now knowing he could of hurt the baby.
''That's great now you can be with Tyler like he wanted'' Kayla said gushing i'm betting today just got better and better for her. ''It didn't go to bad of course he got mad and some name calling was thrown out but nothing happened Kate got me and we Left'' i said shrugging my shoulders hoping he'll believe me.
''What he called you i swear i'll kick his ass'' He spat pissed ''No its okay Clay he was hurt, and its over now don't worry'' i said calming him down as he nodded. After that Clayton and Kayla kept me company and babied me to deaf i never once had to get up their were so great i loved them truly they also stood with me once dad came home.
To tell you i was scared was an understatement i was shaking thinking he would kick me out, or kill Tyler or even stop talking to Kayla. As soon as he stepped in my room Kayla jumped on him sobbing as he rubbed her back. Clay and Kayla stood by my side as i told my father everything at first he paled but than started crying.
It was the second time in 3 years he cried and it scared me until he hugged me and screamed he was going to be grandpa and that my mother would be so happy which made me join the crying, and to my surprise Clay let a tear or to down as he comforted me. everything was perfect all i had to do was tell Tyler on his birthday.
