Being lost in each other's deep orbs, they felt each other's breath on their faces and smiled blushingly.
A sudden lightning, got them back in senses. Neil made Mini stand on the floor again and Mini shrugged off her not so innocent thoughts which she got looking at him as his shirt was completely drenched by now and was sticking to his body getting nearly transparent due to its white colour. She turned other side blushing hard.
Mini: Change karlo tum... main bhi apne room me ja rahi hu....
She ran towards the stairs but as she entered the shed, her hand got tugged and while turning, the very next sec, she was pinned on the wall with Neil's one hand on her lower back and another on her nape while her hands were on his shoulders.
Before Mini could even contemplate, the situation was such that he bent closer to her and their faces weren't even inches apart. Their bodies pressed together, they were able to inhale each other's smell. Mini's breath shuddered.
Mini: Neil... tum.... aise....
Neil pressing her hand on her lower back making her arch due to the lack of space between them, stopped her in her words.
Neil: You make me loose control when you look so breathtaking. Sambhaalu kaise khudko tumhi bata do?
Mini got red instantly and lowered her gaze.
Neil: Look at me na.... I am sure you won't like me to yearn for getting lost in the depth of the most beautiful and deep eyes I want to look into.
Her whole face was red and she could feel her cheeks burning with shyness, which she never ever felt so deep inside her as she was feeling today with his words. He moved his hand on her nape, raising her chin and she slowly raised her gaze to meet his.
Neil: (bending more closer) Would mind answering me?
Mini was able to feel his breaths on her face and her breaths got heavier. He felt her breaths on his neck while he bent his face more closer to hers. Both closed their eyes to feel each other's presence.
She clutched on his shoulders and raised herself a little on her toes. When she felt his breaths just below her nose, her head got a little tilted and she placed her lips on his. Both sucked each other's breaths in while his palm pressing her lower back and his fingers curled on her nape, swayed up and down giving shivers to her already drenched body wrapped in his warmth.
After a subtle kiss, their lips parted and Mini pushed Neil away with a soft chuckle, saying the words which made Neil's heart skip a beat again.
Mini: Hope you got your answer!
She then ran downstairs with her bangles and anklets still making jiggling sounds at her movement.
Neil looked at her retreating figure, getting amazed at her reply and then smiled while running his hand on the back of his head.

Neil after changing his clothes came to the kitchen and made a strong coffee for Mini.
Mini came out of her room, drying her hair, sneezing at intervals.
Neil chuckled and came in front of her. As she was about to sneeze again, he pinched her nose and she sighed.
Neil: (forwarding the coffee) Lo... Strong hai.
Mini: (taking it) Thanks.
They sat on the couch.
Mini: Bahot enjoy kiya aaj maine pata hai.... Kitne time baad itna careless hoke baarish me dance kiya na.... maza aa gaya.
Neil: Ha..... Dekha maine..... Bahot accha classical dance karti ho tum.... This is a thing which you should do more oftenly.... Kal tak jitni stressed thi utni hi relaxed lag rahi ho abhi....
Mini: Hmm.... Point duly noted.
Both chuckled.
Mini finished her coffee and continued to do her work in her laptop while Neil continued with his book.

Next day, It was office day for Mini and she told Neil to meet Keya once in the way to return to the bungalow from the restaurant at evening.

At evening,
Mini stepped inside the plot area of the bungalow through the gate and saw Neil was holding Isha, who was limping and he made her sit in a cab. His back faced her but Isha saw her.
Isha: Thank you Neil for taking care of me... Jaankar khushi hui that you care for me even now.
Neil sensing Mini's presence behind him, turned and saw she was on a phone call and had tears in her eyes.
Neil misinterpreted Mini's tears due to the havoc in his mind due to Isha and tried to defend himself.
Neil: (anxiously) Mini... Trust me it was just a sudden happening... main....
Mini showed him her hand to stop him and walked inside the bungalow.
Isha smirked at Neil and Neil scoffed in irritation.
Isha: Jitna bhi bhaag lo Neil lekin tum apne past se to nahi bhaag sakte na.... aur Mini jaisi ladki kyu tumhara saath degi.... Kisi ladki ko kyu hi pasand aayega ki uska boyfriend uski pehli wife ki beti se itna attached rahe.... kyunki uski wajah se kahin na kahin to hum aisehi takraate rahenge na.... usko har baar hurt karoge tum?.... Chod do usko... ek baar hurt karoge to sambhal jayegi par baar baar hurt karoge to kab tak bardaasht karegi tumhari Mini... ha?
Her words didn't had a damn effect on him this time as his mind was only roaming around Mini and her wet eyes.
He was already in a state of confusion with Mini's reaction and moreover the creepy presence of Isha was making him cringe.
Isha left in the cab and Neil sighing, came inside. He looked in Mini's room but she wasn't there. He looked in the whole bungalow but she was no where.
He went to the terrace and saw her standing there.
Mini was standing at the terrace with her arms folded and eyes closed.
Neil came from behind and saw that she didn't reacted even after sensing his presence.
He knew she is upset.
Neil: Mini... Listen to me na... plz.
Mini opened her eyes and turned to him, still with her arms folded.
Neil: Keya aur Isha ka accident ho gaya tha mere saamne.... Itna chot nahi lagi dono ko but Keya bahot dar gayi thi... isiliye dono ko ghar laaya tha main.
He saw Mini's eyes again had tears by now and she was hurt.
Neil: Tumhi batao kya karta main?
Mini: You know what Neil... I think you should stop saying that you can sense me... And leave this discussion.... Mujhe baat hi nahi karni hai...
She turned to leave, ignoring Neil, he was confused and scared by Mini's reaction. He immediately backhugged her tightly and tears rolled down from his eyes.
Neil: Aise mat bolo plz... I can't bear your silence.... I know meri wajah se tum hurt ho... but plz aisa to mat bolo...
Mini: I am hurt Neil.... I really am... par mujhe ab lag raha hai ki tum vo wajah samjhoge hi nahi shayad...
Neil: Main?..... nahi samjhunga?
Mini: (removing his arms around her) Ha... Nahi samjhoge tum...
