I'll help you too!" Yoohyeon said with an awkward chuckle, earning a sigh in return.
"You know about the reason why I'm so secretive about this, don't you?" Minji asked with a tilted head, getting a weak nod in return. "Yoobin told me about it.. I'm sorry about that, I won't do anything from now on." Yoohyeon apologized, getting shushed in an instant.
"I never said stop doing it, just try to leave hickeys in easy to hide spots." Minji caressed the latter's shoulders, placing a little peck on them from behind. "At least it's winter now. You can leave as many hickeys as you want to up to here." The woman pointed a little below her neck, making Yoohyeon tilt her head and point below her ear.
"How about here? You can hide it with your hair." Yoohyeon looked at Minji, smiling when the older nodded. Yoohyeon then hummed, rubbing on the skin and noticing it wasn't touched at all during their last night's session. "Wait, gimme a quick minute." Yoohyeon mumbled, making Minji hum in confusion.
"Give you a minute for wha- Y-Yoohyeon!?"
Right as the woman was talking, the younger pushed her back on the bed and sucked on her untouched nape. "Didn't you get enough last night?" The woman pursed her lips, unconsciously wrapping her arms around the girl's neck.
"I can never get enough of you." Yoohyeon silently uttered, making Minji close her eyes and sigh a chuckle because of the provocative words. "I can't believe you're like this right after you woke up.." Minji whispered out, smiling when Yoohyeon started kissing the hickey to ease the stinging feeling. "You should be lucky I'm not doing more. Seeing you naked like this really makes me want to go down on you again.." The girl trailed her hand on Minji's waist, laughing when the older gently slapped it away.
"I can't feel myself down there and you want another round? I swear I'll throw you off from somewhere.." The woman scoffed, pushing the girl off with a smile and standing up first. Yoohyeon stared at the woman's body, licking her lips while glancing at every bite mark that was on her body.
The girl then gulped, wondering if there was a way the older could've gotten infected in some way because of her. Yoohyeon didn't know if she could infect others with the virus, but what she did know was that she was glad she didn't do anything more than leave hickeys and small bite marks.
"I feel like you'll faint if you keep on staring at me like that." Minji teased the younger, suddenly feeling flustered when Yoohyeon lightly smiled. "I sure wouldn't mind it if I fainted right now. You're too beautiful." The girl muttered out, shaking her head and standing up as well, stretching her arms.
She bent down, grabbing her bra and shirt, wearing them on. Minji also changed into more comfortable clothes, unlocking the door for the younger so she could put different, warmer clothes on.
"I'll wait for you in the canteen after I have breakfast. Will you eat as well?" Minji asked, getting a rather long hum in return. "I ate so much last night that I'm not hungry at all, if you know what I mean." Yoohyeon winked, laughing when Minji shyly looked away. "I'll punch you.." The woman said annoyed, pushing the giggly girl out the dorm.
Yoohyeon left with a slight smile, furrowing her eyebrows when a few Icebreakers passed through the hallway while glaring at her. The girl couldn't help but gulp, feeling undeniably worried if their glares had anything to do with what her and Minji did last night.
She quickly rushed to her dorm, surprised when Minjoon was already awake and was most probably waiting for Yoohyeon.
"Good morning M-"
"You're in so much trouble Kim Yoohyeon." The man glared at the younger, making her scoff. "You too!? Why is everyone staring at me like that? What did I even do?" Yoohyeon sulkily said, noticing Minjoon sighing in disbelief.
"You really dared to ask what you've done when literally everyone knows what you and my sister did last night!?" Minjoon scoffed, shaking his head in pure shock.
"Wait what? What do you mean everyone knows?" The girl worriedly asked again, leaning on the wall while crossing her arms. Minjoon looked at the younger in confusion, not sure if she was joking or not.
"People heard you two, Yoohyeon. You girls were so damn fucking loud that even Hayoung heard it! And you know damn well how big of a sleepyhead she is." Minjoon grabbed his head with his hands, sighing once again.
He then looked at Yoohyeon worriedly, taking her aback by that. "Just.. be careful, okay? If you see someone trying to speak to you about this, try to get away from them. Please." Minjoon sadly said, remembering what happened to his deceased best friend.
"Hey, don't worry about me. I'm a pretty strong girl, you know?" Yoohyeon smiled while showing her biceps, making the latter slightly chuckle. "I know, but.. People can be awful sometimes.." Minjoon said with a weak tone, earning a pout in return. The man looked at Yoohyeon, suddenly standing up and hugging her out of nowhere.
"I'm not sure if I'm just paranoid, but please be safe Yoohyeon. You're my soulmate-friend after all, I can't lose you as well." The Icebreaker silently uttered, smiling when Yoohyeon sighed like a grandma and pat his head. "You damn oldies always worry so damn much!" The younger ruffled the older's hair, caressing his shoulder. "I will be okay, don't worry. I can beat everyone up in here if I wanted to." Yoohyeon teasingly hit his shoulder, making him scoff, but then he suddenly remembered something.
"Speaking about beating, Bora said she wanted to speak to you so I called her over before you got here." The man informed, slightly regretting it because Yoohyeon seemed a bit too worried. "I take it all back actually. I can beat everyone, but Bora. She's small but terrifying sometimes.." Yoohyeon shook her head, giggling when Minjoon nodded aggressively.
"She's pretty.. intense-" He silently whispered, getting startled when the front door was blasted open by Bora herself. The two looked at the woman in pure fear, making her tilt her head. "What's with the looks? I won't eat you guys.." Bora uttered, making Yoohyeon widen her eyes at those words. The girl thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to tell her best friend about the occurrence that happened last night with the evil inside voice.
"Minjoon, can you let us talk for a bi-"
"I sure can! See you later!"
Bora couldn't even finish her words because Minjoon was too eager to leave the suspenseful atmosphere. The two sighed a chuckle, then instantly got serious again.
"Who talks first?" Yoohyeon asked, nodding when Bora pointed at herself. The girl was about to sit on the couch, but right when she turned around, she got hit by a flying shoe on her head.
"I said talk, not throw shoes! That hurt, you old idiot.." Yoohyeon caressed her own head, pouting at the older. Bora rolled her eyes, pushing the girl on the couch and pointing the other shoe at her. "In places like these, bringing too much attention to yourself is a big minus, especially while knowing that you're KIM YOOHYEON!" Bora scolded the girl, sighing in disbelief when Yoohyeon awkwardly smiled.
"And you have the guts to smile right now!? Don't you know just how bad everything will be for you? Minjoon told me about the thing that happened to his best friend years ago and I swear to god you're in so much trouble.. All because you couldn't keep your urges to yourself!" Bora scoffed, scratching her head in anger while Yoohyeon was just speechless.
"D-Don't worry, we probably won't be doing anything like that again.. Well, not until I sort myself out first.." Yoohyeon shook her hands in defense, making Bora tilt her head. "I swear you're- Wait what? Sort yourself out? What do you mean?" The older switched to a more delicate demeanor, sitting down next to Yoohyeon.
"I almost made a big mistake last night.." Yoohyeon said weakly. "I could've killed Minji." The girl added, making Bora confused because she didn't know what the younger meant. "More context maybe?" Bora asked, noticing the guilty expression of the latter.
"I kind of.. fucked Minji during my infected state because she had a blindfold on and couldn't see me.." Yoohyeon weakly said, knowing the small woman would be furious at those words. And she was right. Bora being silent in such situations meant she was absolutely enraged.
"Kim Yoohyeon.. Are you fucking serious? Didn't you yourself say that you wouldn't switch to that state unless it's an emergency!?" Bora raised her voice, apologizing instantly because she lost her temper.
"Don't ever do that again Yoohyeon, I'm serious. I knew it was unusual that you lost control of yourself when you told me that you almost turned, but I think I know why now. You're being too careless with everything." Bora spoke with a stern voice, knowing that the younger herself also knew that was the case.
"I know, but I really thought I had it all under control. Just.. Am I slowly losing myself to the virus?" Yoohyeon sadly said, getting hugged by Bora in return. "Don't say that Yooh, you're still like us. You're still human.." Bora tried to calm the girl down, but the next words totally shocked her.
"I'm sure no human would get the urge to kill and eat someone else though.." Yoohyeon spurred out, noticing the perplexed look on Bora's face. "What do you mean..?"
"Last night while I was in my infected state I heard a voice in my head. It sounded similar to my voice, but much more distorted.. It almost convinced me to eat Minji alive." Yoohyeon admitted guiltily, earning a sigh in return. Bora had no idea how to respond to that since she hadn't a clue of what the infected were like.
"I almost killed Minji.. I almost ate her alive." Yoohyeon widened her eyes, realizing how bad the outcome could've been. "Holy shit, I almost murdered Minji.. I-I almost killed my Minji.." The younger repeated with a shaky voice, not believing that the Icebreaker could've been dead if Yoohyeon hadn't switched back.
"Hey Yooh, listen to me." Bora cuped the younger's cheeks, making Yoohyeon look at her. "You thankfully didn't do anything bad, so you shouldn't worry about stuff that didn't happen. Just swear on Minji's life that you wouldn't try anything stupid again. Please?" Bora worriedly asked, getting a nod in return. "I swear I won't do something like that again." Yoohyeon repeated, getting a slight smile in return.
"I think it would be better if you don't switch at all for a while. What if you lose complete control the next time you turn? Try to think about it." Bora said, leaving Yoohyeon in deep though. "Maybe you're right.. I shouldn't depend on it so much. Thanks for the advice Bora.." Yoohyeon thanked the older wholeheartedly, getting her hair ruffled as a response. "Of course, I'm your best friend after all- unless you replaced me with Minji, who knows.." Bora pretended to be sulky, laughing when Yoohyeon widened her eyes and instantly got grumpy.
"Hey, she didn't replace you! Minji is Minji and you are you! You know damn well we're best friends for life, you old dumbo." Yoohyeon jokingly punched the older's shoulder, getting tickled in return. "Don't you dare call me old! Ah, why do I still look after your ass when all I get in return is bullying." The woman shook her head, hugging the younger.
"Because you love me too much, my cute Bora~" The younger teased, getting a scoff in return. "Don't make it weird, you tall dumbass. We're like family, of course I love you." Bora spoke with a slight smile, getting a slap on her neck as a return. "I love you too, small idiot."
"What was that for?" Bora asked confusedly, making Yoohyeon stand up and walk quickly towards the front door.
"Slapping your hickey better so you wouldn't get in the same position as me and Minji with your Minjoon~" Yoohyeon loudly laughed, making Bora scoff in embarrassment and throw the second shoe towards the door. "I'm rooting for you two!" Yoohyeon shouted one last time, putting on a warm jacket on before running towards the canteen.
The older then sat back down on the couch, slightly smiling to herself at the mention of the male Icebreaker.
"Ah, you dumb kiddo.. you're so sharp when it comes to people important to you." Bora spoke to herself, getting the remote control from the coffee table. "But if it's about you, you're as blind as a bat in sunlight.." Bora sighed, turning the TV on the first available channel, surprised that it was somehow working.
The small woman slightly smiled, looking at the front door that had just opened, revealing Minjoon.
Bora slightly smiled to herself, inviting the man over to sit down next to her. She had no choice but to whisper the next words to herself..
"Keep on rooting for us Yooh, and I'll keep on rooting for you and Minji.."
