Ava's POV:
I stumbled away from Eli, but he followed me until my back pressed against a tree. Unable to hold my breath any longer, I opened for air only to have his tongue dived right into my mouth.
My fingers dig into his chest, and I hit him. He didn't budge, instead, his kiss only grew harsher.
When he pressed his leg between mine, a light gasp left my throat when I could feel his erection.
Is he crazy?
We're in public!
It wasn't long after, I found myself under his complete mercy. My hands are now cling to his shirt and his hands are under my shorts.
Eli lifted me and I found myself tip-toe on the ground.
When he finally allow me to breathe, I said: "Are you fucking crazy? We're the par-" Before I could finish my statement, Eli dragged me into the forest. "What are you-"
He pinned me against the tree. "Better?"
"What the fuck do you think you're doing?"
"You want out of the park. I took you out of the park."
"No. I mean what the fuck are you doing right now?"
I moved slightly, but Eli didn't allow the wiggle room, "You said it before, right? You can't help yourself."
I have been speechless more than once today. Where is he going with this?
"Then, why not let me help you."
What.the.actual.fuck.
I laughed lightly at his proposal. "Are you fucking serious?" The vocabulary in my dictionary is astonishing. "Are you suggesting to be one of my fuck buddies?"
"Why not?"
"I can fuck you any time, but I choose not to during our relationship. Wanna know why?"
"Go ahead. Tell me why."
"Because you're not good enough for me." I need to straighten out his path before he gets any weirder ideas.
"I'm not good enough for you?"
That's right. Take that step back and hate me more.
Instead of taking a step back, Eli lifted his hand, and I flinched at his touch. He tucked my hair behind my ear and whispered: "That's not what that kiss was saying."
I know Eli's intention. He's trying to become one of those trashy assholes that I'm fooling around with.
Eli is a horrible actor.
"How about it?"
But, maybe Eli doesn't need a cardiologist but a neurologist. There is definitely something wrong with his brain.
I tuck my hands behind my back and dig my nails deeply into my palm. "You think you can do better?"
"I don't think-"
Clearly.
"I know."
"You really want to fuck me knowing I'm fucking other guys?"
Please, say no.
Eli's lips twitched lightly at the proposal, but he didn't back away. "Let's see."
Did he hit his head on the way here?
Is this a dream?
His hands curl against my curves, "You're taking quite a while to answer."
"Because what you're proposing is ridiculous."
"Or maybe, you can't do it because-"
"I'm not that kind of person?" I force out a cold laugh, "You still have some hope for me, don't you?"
"Crush it then."
"You're making a mistake."
I can feel his hands shake against my waist, "My only mistake would be to not sleep with you at least once."
This whole ordeal is ridiculous. I know Eli isn't this type of guy. Not once during our relationship did he push me to sleep with him.
"Okay."
"Okay?"
"Yeah. Let's fuck."
Eli moves his face down, and I push it away.
"Not here," I said slowly, "I may be a slut, but I got standards."
Eli chuckles softly, "Standards?"
"Yes, sluts got standards too."
He crossed his arms, "And what are your standards?"
"My standards," I said even slower, "My standards are I won't stand here and be publically fucked like an animal."
His eyes squint in a childish manner, and he lowered himself towards me, "What would you prefer - a bed?"
"Yes, my back hurts from lying on it all day."
Was I always this bad of a liar?
Is it all those years of no filter made me a bad liar?
"That doesn't make sense," he retorted, "If your back is hurting why would you want to continue lying on it?"
I take a few blinks to re-collect myself, primarily from breaking out into laughter, "Well, bending over certainly wouldn't help!"
"Okay, do you wanna sit on me instead while I sit on a bed?"
"That sounds a bit better."
"Alright. Let's go."
He reaches for my hand, but I withdraw it, "Go where?"
"To a bed?"
"Now?'
"Yeah!"
"No."
"No? Why?"
"I got plans!"
"With whom?"
I gave him a stupid mean look, "Who I hang out with doesn't concern you." Before Eli can rebuttal, I intervene with: "I don't know if you notice it or not, but I'm Ava Makee, head cheerleader and the most popular girl in school-" a bit over-exaggerated, but a girl got to play her part, "people want to hang out with me."
His mouth open, but I quickly interfere again, "You think my schedule is always open willy nilly-"
Oh, my god, I'm influenced by the dweebs.
Dweebs?
Did I just call Trevon, Elijah, and Ben dweebs?
Oh, my god, I'm influenced by Winnie.
Eli's lips twitched slightly at my statement.
"If you wanna hang out with me, you gonna have to schedule a day."
Eli's eyebrows curl together, "If I wanna fuck you, I gotta schedule a...day?"
"Yeah."
He positioned his hands against his waist, "Okay. Wednesday."
That is the most random day ever.
"No."
"Why not?"
"I'm busy!"
"With?"
"Cheer practice."
"Your cheer practice ends at 6."
Damn him and his awareness of my routine.
"How about this? I got a fuck date."
"Let me see your calendar."
"What? Who put fuck date on a calendar?"
"Okay. Then, which day?"
Eli is really persistent!
"Friday."
"This Friday?"
"Four Fridays from now."
"Time?"
"7:00 pm."
Eli stared at me for a very long time.
I dramatically gasp and cover my mouth, "Oh, no. Isn't that the day you're going to the Marvel premiere and be the first 200 people to watch their newest movie? I heard Iron Man is going to be there too...in person."
Half a year ago, Eli fought for these tickets to attend a private Marvel movie showing with a special guest star meeting. He won two tickets and, to this day his two best friends are still fighting. Of course, it's not as terrible as when he first announced the winning tickets, but they often drop hints here and there.
I adjusted the weight on my legs as Eli continued to stare at me. "Well-" I broke the silence, "Yah gonna say something or what? I got to go."
"You remembered."
"What?"
Eli tucked his hands inside his pants, "Keep that day open for me."
I stared at him as he walked away from me. I wanted to scream: "Why! What's wrong with you!" But if I did, it'd look too suspicious.
Or more suspicious.
I think I exhaled about a thousand times on the way home.
You know when you blurt out random things because you couldn't contain the thought anymore?
That's what I did on the way home.
And guess who happened to be around the corner with a bundle of flowers - Winnie.
"W-What? You're going to have sex with Eli?" Winnie made several weird faces before she continued: "You guys haven't had sex yet?"
"No," I said slowly.
"You're planning to have sex?"
"Kind of."
"You're back together?"
"No."
"What kind of sex are you doing?"
"Fuck sex? I don't know. Nice flowers. Ben?"
"Yes, and don't change the subject." She ran towards me, "I know you're dying to tell me everything."
"I'm pretty sure I can keep it in."
"You couldn't contain what you screamed out earlier. How did it go again? Oh, yeah. - I cannot believe I scheduled a fuck night with-"
Quickly, I covered her mouth, "Not another word."
She removed my hand, "Only if you do all the talking," she sings. When I started walking, Winnie walked beside me and looped her arms around my arm, "So, spill."
I exhaled, "You know how Eli and I broke up, right?" I should thread this topic cautiously.
"The whole school knows."
"Yeah, and what did they say happened?"
"Oh, you know, many things. But, nothing I could confirm," she smiled, "You guys are pretty tight-lipped on your breakup."
Eli is the type of guy who is friends with alot of people, but private at the same time. It took me a while to understand that no one really knows much about him. From his birthday - which he never mentioned unless asked - to his relationship. The only reason why everyone knew Eli had a girlfriend was because I was his girlfriend.
"Um- yeah our breakup," I said. "It was rough."
"But, not that rough considering how you two started talking again, and oh my God, I'm wasting time talking when you should be the one telling the story."
I grabbed the keys and unlocked the front door. No one is home. I dropped my keys in the bowl. "Yeah, I guess it wasn't that rough." I walked into the kitchen with a quiet Winnie breathing over my neck for the next bit of story. "We were at the park, and we talked."
"Okay."
I opened the fridge and grabbed some leftovers. With a large spoon, I scooped the food into a bowl.
"Oh my God!" Winnie grabbed the container from me, wrapped it, dumped it into the microwave, cleaned up the mess, grabbed some water, and waited for the microwave to ding. "You can continue the story. Go. Go."
I sat at the dining table, "Well-" I said slowly, "We were talking, and old feelings returned, so we made out a little bit at the park."
"Uh-huh."
"Then, we decided to become fucked buddies."
The microwave dinged, but I couldn't get the food since Winnie blocked the path.
"Can I pass?"
Winnie moved out of the way, but continued to hover over me, "Is there anything else?"
I opened the microwave and took out the food, "No."
"Really?"
"That's it." I took the food to the dining table.
Winnie stared at me while I started eating.
"Is there anything you would like to tell me?" I asked.
"No," she responded.
"Are you sure? Because-"
"I know you're from the future!"
