┌─── · 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───┐

The morning sun painted the city in warm hues as Peter and Ava found themselves still atop the rooftop. Their legs dangled off the ledge, a comfortable and familiar closeness between them.

Ava's golden hair caught the sunlight as she playfully manipulated her powers, forming intricate patterns that shimmered like stardust. She looked radiant in the morning light, her face free of the domino mask, revealing the genuine smile that graced her lips.

Peter couldn't help but steal glances at her, his heart racing as he recalled the electricity of their kiss. The realization that the girl he had secretly admired for so long was now not just his crush, but also his fellow hero, was still sinking in.

Did you ever think we'd be here, looking out over the city together like this?" Peter's voice broke the tranquil silence between them.

Ava's lips curled into a soft smile. "Not in a million years. It's funny how life can surprise us."

Peter nodded, his gaze fixed on the horizon as the sun continued its ascent. "Definitely. I mean, you were always cool, but now you're like... superhero cool."

Ava's laughter danced in the air, a melody of genuine amusement. "And you've been juggling school, and saving the city as Spider-Man. Pretty impressive, I must say."

He scratched the back of his head, a sheepish grin tugging at his lips. "Yeah, well, I've had some good inspiration."

Ava's gaze softened, and she turned to face him. "You know, even before all this superhero stuff, you were a good friend to me. Always there when I needed someone to talk to."

Peter met her gaze, his expression warm and sincere. "Same goes for you. You've been there for me too, even when I was just Peter Parker."

"You were never just Peter Parker to me..." She muttered, eyes flickering from his eyes to his lips.

Peter's heart skipped a beat at Ava's words, his breath catching as their eyes locked and the air between them seemed to crackle with a newfound tension. His voice was soft, almost a whisper, "And you were never just Ava Stark to me."

Ava's cheeks flushed with a mixture of surprise and a hint of shyness. Her fingers toyed with a strand of her glowing hair, her gaze flickering back to his lips before she met his eyes again. "I guess we were both hiding more than one secret, huh?"

A small, knowing smile tugged at the corners of Peter's mouth. "Seems that way."

Their unspoken understanding hung heavy in the air, the connection between them growing stronger with every passing moment. The morning sunlight seemed to dance around them, highlighting the emotions that had taken root beneath the surface of their friendship.

"You know," Ava began, her voice softer now, "I had always wondered what it would be like to kiss you."

Peter's heart raced, his cheeks warming with a mixture of anticipation and nerves. "Is that so?"

Ava's gaze dropped to his lips once again before lifting to meet his eyes. "Yeah. And now that I've actually kissed you, I can't help but wonder what else we might discover."

Peter's fingers brushed against hers, a gentle touch that sent a jolt of electricity through him. "There's only one way to find out."

Their faces drew closer, their lips mere inches apart. Time seemed to stand still as their breaths mingled, the world around them fading into insignificance. And then, with a flutter of anticipation, their lips met once more, the kiss a delicate exploration of shared emotions and unspoken desires.

As they broke the kiss, their eyes met, and the surroundings started to regain their clarity. The rooftop, the cityscape, everything appeared to sparkle with a newfound vibrancy, reflecting the lightness they both felt inside.

Ava's fingers naturally entwined with Peter's, their hands fitting together like they were always meant to be. "So, what's the next move?" she asked, a playful curiosity dancing in her eyes.

Peter's lips curved into a warm smile. "Well, my morning schedule is pretty open."

Ava's expression shifted into a mischievous grin. "Funny you mention that... My dad's off to Massachusetts, and the Avengers are off on a mission."

Peter's eyebrows raised in pleasant surprise, a playful glint in his eyes. "So, you're suggesting we have the whole morning to ourselves?"

Ava grinned mischievously, her eyes sparkling with excitement. "Even better – I have access to an Avengers workshop filled with top-of-the-line tech, including a fabricator."

Peter's grin widened, the prospect of tinkering with advanced tech clearly appealing to him. "You know, I've always wanted to get my hands on some of that Stark-level gear."

Ava playfully nudged him, her voice teasing. "Careful, you might get addicted."

He chuckled, their hands still intertwined. "Oh, I'm already addicted – to adventure and now, apparently, to you."

Ava's cheeks turned a faint shade of pink, but she met his gaze with a confident smile. "Smooth, Peter. Very smooth."

He shrugged with a boyish grin. "Just being honest."

Ava's playfulness shifted into a more sincere look. "I'm glad you are."

She rose from the ledge, retrieving her mask and securing it in place. With a playful wink directed at Peter, she teased, "Come on, slowpoke, keep up," and leaped off the rooftop.

An initial jolt of panic surged through Peter as he rushed to the edge, his heart racing. But within moments, relief flooded him as he spotted her gliding gracefully through the sky, golden energy swirling around her hands. Her voice reached him, asking, "You coming?" She pivoted in mid-air and began to soar toward the direction of the Avengers compound.

With a determined grin, Peter activated his web-shooters, firing a pair of sticky threads towards a nearby building's rooftop. He swung himself into the air and shot a web towards the next structure, swiftly following Ava's trajectory.

Ava, now soaring above, occasionally looked back to ensure Peter was keeping up. Her energy-enhanced flight made it effortless for her to glide through the air, and Peter marvelled at her abilities. As they neared the Avengers compound, Ava descended gracefully, landing on a secluded part of the facility's perimeter.

Peter joined her moments later, landing in a crouched position. "You know, this is one way to make an entrance," he whispered with a hint of excitement in his voice.

Ava chuckled softly, her eyes glinting mischievously. "I thought you might enjoy it. Now, follow me." She led him along a shadowed path, avoiding security cameras and patrolling guards with a practiced ease.

Navigating through the compound's security was a breeze after they breached the main perimeter. The absence of the usual occupants made their task even simpler. Steve, Nat, Wanda, and Sam were away on their mission, Tony was occupied at MIT, Thor's visits were infrequent, and Clint, whom Ava considered an uncle figure, was spending time with his family. Meanwhile, her Uncle Rhodey held a prominent position in the American government, explaining his scarce presence in the compound.

Peter's eyes widened with amazement as he pointed out each intricate detail to Ava, who found his enthusiasm infectious. "Um, Ave? Are there no security cameras around here?"

Ava grinned, nodding toward a discreet security camera mounted in the hallway leading to the kitchen. "Well, in the inner compound, where we all reside, it's pretty much under my dad's regulation. Those cameras are linked to FRIDAY, my father's AI that practically manages the entire place. But don't worry, I've managed to tweak FRIDAY's code so she keeps my activities off my dad's radar. He's usually too caught up to monitor the live feeds, and FRIDAY wipes the records before he even gets a chance." Ava clarified with a mischievous sparkle in her eyes.

Peter chuckled, impressed by Ava's resourcefulness. "You really have everything figured out, don't you?"

Ava shrugged playfully. "I'm a Stark. Its in my blood to cause mischief."

They moved stealthily through the compound, Ava leading the way with a confident familiarity. It was a rare sight for Peter, getting a glimpse into the life of a superhero who was also part of the Avengers family. He couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nerves, like he was stepping into a secret world he had only dreamed of.

As they reached the workshop door, Ava turned to Peter with a mischievous grin. "Welcome to my sanctuary."

Peter couldn't hide his excitement as they entered the high-tech workshop. His eyes scanned the array of gadgets, tools, and advanced technology that filled the room. "This is incredible, Ava."

Ava beamed at his reaction. "Glad you like it. Now, let's see what we can do to upgrade that suit of yours."

They were fully engrossed in their work, sharing ideas and refining Peter's Spider-Man suit. Ava utilized her expertise to adjust the polymer, using FRIDAY to simulate different scenarios for optimal performance. After finalizing the design, they set the fabricator in motion.

Curious, Peter settled onto a stool beside Ava's desk, watching her deftly program the fabricator. "Any idea how long this will take?"

Ava glanced at him, a thoughtful expression on her face. "Considering the improvements in this upgraded version of the fabricator, I'd estimate around 3 to 4 hours. But the machine will give us a more precise timeframe once it processes the design fully."

Peter leaned back on the stool, running a hand through his hair. "Well, I guess we have some time to kill then."

Ava smirked, her fingers dancing across the keyboard as she monitored the fabricator's progress. "Oh, I've got a few ideas for that."

She turned back towards Peter, her eyes locking onto his with a mixture of playful mischief and underlying desire. Her smirk deepened, a glint of anticipation dancing in her gaze.

Ava closed the gap, her fingers finding Peter's collar, tracing down his chest. Her touch was gentle and electric, shivers coursing through him as her golden energy responded. The workshop's hum faded as their lips met, a kiss heavy with desire, tongues dancing hungrily.

Her hands climbed his chest, fingers tangling in his hair, deepening the kiss. Nervousness gave way to need, their bodies pressing closer, golden energy mirroring their electric connection. Her grip tightened in his hair, drawing a low groan from him that sent thrills down her spine.

Their kiss persisted, Ava's touch confident as fingers trailed his neck, then she began to pull away, lips lingering before parting. The taste of him lingered, a tantalizing memory. Breath mingled, the air thick with passion. Her eyes held desire and playfulness as she took a step back to catch their breath.

Peter's chest rose and fell with each ragged breath, his gaze still locked onto Ava's as he struggled to find his words. He couldn't deny the attraction he felt for Ava, a connection that went beyond words and logic.

The moment of quiet intimacy was broken by the calm voice of FRIDAY, their attention diverted to the AI's announcement. "The fabricator has finished processing the design. Estimated 3.5 hours."

Ava's smile reappeared, a mix of amusement and understanding in her eyes. "Looks like I guessed correctly," she remarked, her tone playful.

"You were right," he admitted, a soft chuckle escaping him.

Ava glided to the desk, her movements carrying a graceful elegance as she subtly straightened the area. "So, what's your take on how we should pass the time?" she asked, her tone casual. "Maybe we could go to my room," she added, her suggestion draped in ambiguity, leaving Peter pondering whether there was an underlying intent behind her words.

"Um..." Peter started to reply, but the chime of Ava's phone ringing cut through their conversation, punctuating the moment.

Ava's attention briefly shifted as the sound of her ringing phone broke the flow of their conversation. She retrieved her phone from the desk, as she glanced at the screen, a groan of mild annoyance escaped her, her eyes rolling in response to whatever message the screen conveyed.

Placing a finger against her lips in a subtle gesture, Ava indicated to Peter that he should remain quiet. With a composed gesture, she answered the call and brought the phone to her ear. "Hello, Daddy," she chirped in an overly cheerful tone, a façade that seemed to mask an awareness of the potential disapproval her father might express. A fleeting realization crossed Peter's mind — he was listening to a conversation with Tony Stark himself.

"Hey Kiddo. You seem cheerful?" her father's words rang out, and Ava's gaze momentarily sharpened. She knew her father well enough to detect the subtle inflections in his tone. It was a question that carried unspoken layers, hinting at his intuition about her current activities.

Ava's response was swift, her tone casual yet laden with a hint of playful evasion. "Oh, you know, just enjoying some downtime at the compound," she replied, her words almost floating through the air. She shot a fleeting glance at Peter, the corners of her lips quirking in a knowing smile.

"How's Massachusetts?" Ava inquired. The question served as a pivot, redirecting the interaction onto a more comfortable path.

Her father's response was tinged with a gentle affection, as he began to share snippets of his experiences in Massachusetts. As his words flowed, Ava's expression shifted. A hint of boredom crept across her features, her posture mirroring her disinterest. She leaned over her desk, resting her head on her elbow, her eyes rolling with a hint of playful exasperation. "Sounds like you're staying busy," Ava replied.

Tony's voice resonated through the phone, the sound of his chuckle carrying a touch of familiarity. "Yeah, you know me, Kid," he remarked, "Listen, I don't think I'm going to be home tonight, so you might have the place to yourself."

"Oh, what a shame," she responded with a sly smirk, her tone laced with playful sarcasm.

She could practically hear the chuckle in her father's response as he continued, "Yeah, well, don't forget I can always send Robin Hood to check on you."

Ava's laughter rang out at that, a genuine sound that echoed with warmth and amusement. "I think Uncle Clint would be more than trusting to leave me home alone," she retorted

Her laughter lingered in the air for a moment before her father's voice broke through, his tone carrying a touch of amusement. "Well, you've got a point there. Clint's got quite the trust in you."

Ava's smile remained, a mixture of genuine fondness and the light-heartedness of their banter. "Yeah, he knows I'm not going to cause too much trouble," she replied with a wink, her tone playfully confident.

Her father's chuckle was audible even through the phone. "Just make sure you don't turn the place upside down while I'm gone."

Ava's eyes gleamed mischievously as she retorted, "No promises, Dad. You know how unpredictable things can get."

Her father's response was laced with a mix of caution and a hint of playfulness. "Yeah, well, let's make sure there's no burning down the place, no parties, and definitely no boys involved," he cautioned with a chuckle.

Ava's smirk deepened, her tone teasing as she replied, "Oh come on, no fun allowed?"

Her father's laughter rumbled through the phone. "MIT is hosting a dinner bash to celebrate the new grant I'm offering them," he explained. "If I make it back in time, I'll be there. But if not, you're in charge."

Ava's eyebrows quirked in playful mock surprise. "Me, in charge? Now that's a dangerous proposition, Dad."

Tony's laughter echoed through the phone, his amusement apparent in his voice. "I know, Kiddo. Anyways, I've got to get ready for my speech. I'll catch up with you later. Love you."

Ava's heart warmed at her father's words, her affection evident as she responded, "Love you too, Dad." With that, she ended the call, the lingering warmth of their conversation settling in the room.

"Looks like Dad won't be coming home tonight," Ava remarked with a smile directed at Peter.

Peter returned her smile, his gaze meeting hers with a subtle understanding. The interruption had offered him a glimpse into her family life, a window into the world beyond their shared moments.

"I guess you'll have the place all to yourself," Peter commented, his tone light as he played along with the newfound energy that lingered in the air.

Ava's grin widened, a hint of mischief dancing in her eyes. "And what do you suggest we do with all this newfound freedom?" she quipped, her words carrying a playful undertone.

The air seemed to crackle with unspoken possibilities as Peter met Ava's playful gaze. He felt a rush of adrenaline, a mix of excitement and nervousness that danced beneath the surface.

Ava's laughter was a velvet whisper, her voice a tantalizing invitation that brushed against his senses. "Well, we could always find ways to make the most of it," she replied, her words dripping with suggestion.

The energy between them intensified, an electric current that seemed to draw them closer. As if pulled by an invisible force, Peter took a step toward her, his heart pounding in his chest.

Ava's smile deepened, her eyes holding his with an intensity that left him breathless. "Shall we explore some of those ways?" she murmured, her voice a sultry caress that seemed to echo in the space around them.

The pause that followed was pregnant with possibility, a moment that seemed to hang suspended in time. And with the promise of what lay ahead, Ava's hand slipped into Peter's, leading him with an irresistible pull towards the uncharted territory of her bedroom.
