Genya POV:
I was waiting for Muichiro to wake up. After what happened the other night I wanted to make sure he is okay after all. And to tell him about Tanjiro's lie. Tanjiro shouldn't be using Muichiro's illness to lie to him like that.
I had been in there for a little while, maybe 20 minutes. Muichiro woke up and looked at me. He seemed annoyed already, "hi" I smiled, showing some of my teeth. I blushed slightly. He was already annoyed with me. After an argument kinda he hugged me..I hugged him back, I asked him if he remembered me but he pushed me off him, sadly, and told me he didn't. I asked him why he hugged me then, he said he doesn't like seeing people act like how he used to act.. "you remember that?" I asked, "remember what?" He replied. I shook my head, "nothing" I said. "Do you know the red haired boy?" I asked, "I think so..he told me he's my boyfriend right?" He asked. "He did.. he lied to you. You guys have only talked once afterall" I replied. He looked upset. He stormed past me, limping slightly.
I had witnessed Muichiro yelling at Tanjiro, I watched the others reaction to Muichiro yelling. He threw Tanjiro onto the floor. I was behind Muichiro, I touched his shoulder. He pushed past me..I watched as he walked off and the Hashira were trying to get someone to go check on him. Gyomei ended up going.. after a minute or two I had followed. I sat by Muichiro. "Hi tall kid" he said, I laughed. Gyomei just stared at us. Well..looked in our direction at least. "Is that what you call me?" I said still laughing. He paused for a moment it seemed. "Y-yes" he stuttered. Gyomei said he had to leave so it was just us again.
We sat in silence for a few moments before I decided to tell him my name, since he doesn't remember me.. "my name's genya by the way." I said breaking the uncomfortable silence. "Oh. I recognize that name from some reason" he replied, "soo you remember me?" I asked smiling. "No, I just recognize your name." Muichiro said quickly. "Alright" I mumbled. I felt my face heat up.. it's just hot probably. I shrugged it off.
