Reanna finally peeled her eyes off the crystal ball, to see a red sky filling the room. It wrapped the walls in different shades of red, the room looked like it was set on fire. Shadows of people were casted on the walls, it appeared that they were trying to get inside. Hands slammed against the stone, animals screech outside, feral noises filled the castle. Reanna curlled her hands into her hair, pulling it down. Her head slamed to the table. She let's out a wail.

"WWHHYY," She cries, to no one particular.

She didn't move as she screamed out her frustration. A figure sits across from her, it's face casted in a shadow. She blinked her eyes but her tears never stopped.

"It has been a few centuries since I have seen someone watch a member of their family for hours.." The figure calmly declared from across the table.

"Why," Her voice was hoarse as she lowered her head.

I did this..

"Why did you kill me?" She quietly asked, glancing up at the figure across from her.

The figure placed his bony hand on the table and leaned forward. Muffled screams fill the castle but she didn't  notice them. Her eyes were on his, trying to search for an answer. As if there was a single world in the universe that could fill the hole in her heart. Her short breath surrounded them, like a bomb about to explode. Death reached his hand out but pulled it back when his eyes landed on his sharp white fingers.

I shouldn't have left that night..
I don't deserve to be in Heaven..

Under the table her fingers dug into her palm, soon she felt liquid on her fingertips. Pain struck her fists, but she didn't care. It was nothing compared to the guilt she felt. The remorse she suffered from choosing to leave him.

Liam's suffering because of me!
It's my fault..

"It is my job," He calmly told her.

"DON'T GIVE ME THAT CRAP! YOU KNEW WHAT YOU WERE DOING!" She shouted, glaring daggers into his dead eyes.

You did this... you killed me

"I do not choose who dies. I simply inform the reapers who they should kill, and assign that soul to their new home."

His gentle voice broke her heart.

"Why?" She questioned through her tears.

"I wish I knew, but I do not,"

"You're a liar," She grumbled, glarring at him.

You know, you have to know

She tried to move her lips, to shout at him but only a whimper escaped.

"I asure you that I am not," He got up, never taking his eyes off her. "I suggest that you stay here for the night, unless you want to kill yourself," He began to walk away but stopped. "You can keep an eye on your family for as long as you want," He left the room.

You killed me, it's your fault. You did this.

Wiping her tears, she looked back at the crystal ball. Frowning at the changes in her brothers room. She hugged herself and traced her fingers against her arm, to calm herself but they did nothing. Reanna watched her brother for the rest of the night. The zombies screams were a lullaby to her ears, bringing a voice to her guilt.

~~~
A gentle breeze blew into the dinning hall, brushing along her tear stained face. Reanna never looked up, entranced by the magic ball. She never moved from her seat, watching her brother with tearful eyes and a shameful face. It wasn't until her brother fell asleep, that she finally sat up. The morning sun blazed through the room.
I need to find Dena, than we can welcome him. Until than I need to find a way to get her home.
She left Purgatory and headed towards Heaven. As soon as she arrived, she dropped the satchel at work than searched for a way to help Liam. There was no one that would help him, no guardian angel that would accept the job. Defeated, she went back to the library to searched for a way to help her brother. Than it hit her, Reapers.
I can't help him, but maybe I can convince someone to care for him.
The next morning, she went back to Purgatory. Noah let her inside, leading her to Death's office. Ignoring her protests as they passed the dinning room with the crystal ball. Reanna began to oppose when the office door opened and Death stepped out.
"It will take a few days for me to finish assign the souls," He interrupted.
"I don't care how long it takes, I'm not here for that. I'm only here to watch my brother," She spun on her heal. "I don't care if you don't allow me to, I'll still going to watch him." She declared, storming towards the dinning room.
She heard a chuckle behind her.
"Noah, let her be. Tell no one to disturb her, if they must. Find me," She heard Bellator say with a laugh.
It brought a slight smile to her face. That quickly fell as she entered the dinning room and took a seat in front of the crystal ball. The smoke inside the ball spirals to form an imagine of Liam. He was getting beaten up by a little boy who looked older than him. Reanna watched her brother throughout the day. A masked creature occasionally entered the room with a plate of tissues, water or snacks. Just before night fell, Reanna headed to Heaven.
She scavenged the library for answers but found nothing.  The next morning she went back, a pillow was on her chair. The same masked creature popped by and offered the same things. She watched her brother without a break, never noticing that night fell. Someone entered the room and wrapped a blanket over her shoulders before they left. She stayed the following day. This began to be her normal routine, until the following week.
When she entered the masked creature was holding the door for her.
"Thanks for the gifts.." She paused to say the creatures name, only to realize that she never asked for it.
"Olivia, I was only doing what Death commanded of me. For some reason, he is smitten with you." Olivia closed the door. "He needs to see you immediately," She informed her as she lead her to the office.
Why does he care? ...Whatever, I have more important things to worry about than love.
When they entered the office, she saw a stack of papers on his desk. Death sat behind the desk, he wore a crisp blue suit. Something else caught her eye, it was the skin on his body, and his blonde hair that was pulled back.
"I have finished with the souls, you may continue the job you were given,"  He said bitterly.
She gave him a slight smile.
I can break Dena out of Hell.
"I'll come back to collect them," She said with a wide smile.
Reanna spun around and ran towards for front door. With a sparkle in her eyes she flew towards Heaven and grabbed the satchel. When she got back she flew into the open window of Death's office.
Without looking at anyone she takes the stack of papers and puts them into a locked box before she put it into the satchel. Locking it shut, she places the bag over her shoulder and flies out.
Wait a little longer, I'm on my way Dena
The closer she came to Hell, the more cries she heard. Reanna couldn't help but hold the satchel closer towards her, as she flew over a forest. Growls echoed on the tree's below, she flew highter keeping eyes eyes forward.
You'll be out of there soon.
She took a sharp breath as screams ahead, sang with animalistic howls that echoed nearby. Wind scrapped across her pants, glancing below she saw the forest fade away. Revealing a cliff that was a part of canyon, it was a wide crevis that stretched out. Reanna snapped her hands over her ears trying to block the howls that sufficated her. She flew faster towards a large black gate. Glidding to the cliff, she places her shoes on the sand.
"I love waiting.." A deep voice sacrastically said.
Reanna peers around, she saw footprints walking towards her but nobody.
"You'll have to wait a little bit longer," She pushed the satchel behind her back. "I want something from you first,"
The voice scoffed, she felt warm breath on her face. She stepped back. She felt a hand on her lower back before she saw the owner of the voice. Piercing yellow eyes starred at her between silver hair that falls around the creatures face. Black wings were around the face.
"Please, I would love to see you die," The creature sweetly said.
"What?"
The creature laughed, it took his hand off her. She was that the lock box in its hand.
"You must ignore your center of mind," He told her, unlocking the blox with his claw.
"I don't understand what your saying but I need to enter Hell," She said, storming towards the gates.
The creature put the box in its other hand and put a hand on her chest. He shoved 3 feet away, knocking her on her ass.
"YOUR KIND IS NOT WELCOME HERE!" The creature took a red folder and locked the box. "Do you understand me now?" It threw the box at her shoes.
"But you're an angel too.."
"I AM NO ANGEL!" The creature bursted into flames, it stepped towards her. It's skin began to melt, but it kept walking toward her. "I AM A DEVIL!" It leaned down to her, it's skin falling into the sand around her. "Leave before I feed you my pets,"
She grabbed the box and scrambled away. She flew to Heaven, never looking back.
Now I know why this job was avaliable...
˜˜˜
Once at Heaven, she gave the box to Roza. She gave Reanna a smile after opening it.
"You know that you have to do this every month, right?"
I won't be scared next time
"Of course, a few monsters don't scare me,"
