I laughed nodding along "I mean I was lucky the show was in New York and the Grand Prix was only in Las Vegas so yeah it was a short flight thankfully."
"You looked so hot, honestly Pierre didn't hear the end of it." Kika smiled at me admitting the truth without shame.
I chuckled "Well I'm glad you did so wifey, I did it for you."
She laughed"I mean.. TMZ was going off this morning, Charles' comment on the Chanel account and obviously his presence at the walk and your post a week ago... you might as well just announce it."
"If everyone is so damn sure what's the point in announcing it." I asked her and she had no response worth waiting for.
Charles exited his drivers room as I was stood chatting with Kika "Evs I'm supposed to do a race debrief.. I don't know how long it's going to take so if you want you can head back to the hotel."
Last night Charles and I had flown in from New York to Las Vegas for the Grand Prix, he'd been out here for qualifying but flown out to surprise me and being front row of my walk sat with my entire family.
It felt normal.
"That's okay," I smiled "I'm willing to wait for the winner."
Today Charles came in P1, Verstappen in P2 and Hamilton in P3. I watched the whole thing from the Mercedes garage so I had to be quiet about my celebrations but I was very proud of him.
He cheekily asked coming closer to me ignoring Kikas presence completely "Oh really?"
I decided to put my arms around his neck "Question."
His eyes twinkle "Hit me."
"Can we kiss now everyone's gone?" I asked despite the fact all of the engineers and team principles were here.
He hummed "Depends on whether my girlfriend requires more privacy, but you know damn well id kiss you in-front of a million people."
"Nope. I require this." I cup the back of his head and yank his mouth down on mine, the kiss is... magic. It's always magic when we're together, as our tongues meet in a reckless tangle, my mind spins and body sings.
"Love you, Charles," I murmur into his lips, his laughter warms my face and then brushes his mouth with mine and whispers "Love you too, gorgeous."
Pierre entered the Ferrari paddock just as swiftly assuming Kika was chatting with me, which she was before Charles interrupted "Gotta say, this is the first time I've seen Charles turn up to the paddock with a date" He claimed wrapping an arm around his girlfriend.
"Get used to it," Charles tosses back "I don't plan on ever leaving the house without her anymore."
"You guys are so cute it's making me feel sick," Kika hugged me quickly before heading out from the paddock "I'm going home, see ya Ev."
I waved goodbye, Fred popped out of nowhere instantly "Charles boy you have a debrief to attend, don't want to keep the crew too long we want a final race win."
He nodded, kissing my forehead as he trailed behind Fred, "Won't take long Ev I promise." He called out mindlessly as he wandered away from me.
I decided to walk over to Mercedes to see my sister and brothers sat down spinning on the chairs as I often did "other Wolff kids hello." I greeted them as I also sat on a spinning chair, Jack quick to climb up on my lap.
"If it isn't the traitor." Rosa joked knowing how it was previous sore spot within the family, I rolled my eyes at her in a joking manner.
I asked "I watched the race with you guys didn't I?"
Ben nodded "Yeah you did but you weren't exactly rooting Mercedes on were you, we all saw your face when Charles won."
Rolling my eyes once again "Oh come on dad even clapped too, when has he ever clapped for another team mate that wasn't a Mercedes driver?"
"Daddy likes Charles, said he's a nice guy." Jack muttered as he held up his rocket toy that keeps him distracted on race day.
"He is a nice guy, don't you agree Jack?"
He nodded "Yeah, he's funny."
I nodded "And he flew you all out to the Chanel runway as a surprise for me, that was nice wasn't it? I think he's really trying to get you all to like him. It's sweet."
Rosa agreed "It is sweet, even if he's on another team you got a good one Ev."
"What do his parents think about you Ev?" Ben asked out of the blue, boy I wish he hadn't.
I shrugged "I don't think his mums a fan, his brothers are lovely and I'm sure his mum can be but she definitely doesn't like me, I don't know what I can do to make it better."
Rosa asked immediately wanting all the gossip as per usual "When did you meet his family?"
"Um a little while ago now, his birthday they all came over for a meal."
"Cake?" Jack asked, that being all he was concerned about.
I nodded to him "There was cake."
We continued to discuss the family dynamics, Red bull had officially won this season for world constructer champion and driver world champion went to Max Verstappen so the last race was a fight between Ferrari and Mercedes, an interesting watch for me.
Hence why both teams were doing routine race debriefs.
"The race finished three hours ago." Rosa groaned, it wasn't often at all that she came to the track, she was nowhere near as interested in the sport as I was.
