Omniscient POV:

Today's the day. The wedding is in full swing and at 5pm, Sade's mother, Adrienne, will be getting married. It's about 10am now.

Aria had gone to spend the night at Dylan's, per usual, after dropping Sade off at home. She's yet to find anything to wear, so the two made plans to get up and head for the mall in the next hour or so. Hunter's been with Tina all week, but after calling Lauren yesterday and finding out what had been going on, she spent last night at her friend's house.

This morning, they'd gone to brunch with Kingston and Silas to kickstart the day. The group was dressed rather casually. Hunter wore simple high waisted Levi jeans with an open cardigan and a cami up under; her hair in a claw clip. Silas wore khaki pants and Kingston had on jeans as they both dressed in presentable graphic tees. One wore dunks as the other wore new balances. And Lauren resided in black leggings along with a black fitted jacket and a pink cami tee up under. She paired that with some pink new balances that matched the shirt underneath her jacket.

The brunch was going very well so far, as expected.

"So, not to kill the vibe or anything but Lauren-" she picked her head up upon hearing her name. "You're going to her mom's wedding, after not speaking to her for almost a week??" Kingston asked.

Lauren looked down at the table, clearing her throat,

"I actually um, I don't think I'm going to go," she shrugged. "It just doesn't feel right to anymore, y'know? I was going, for Sade, who isn't even speaking to me right now. So, with that being said, what reason do I have for being there?" They nodded in solemn support and understanding.

"So you're taking the dress back?" Silas asked, prompting her to nod as she took another bite of her food.

"Yeah...probably tomorrow or something, I don't know."

There was a moment of awkward silence once Lauren finished speaking. It was unspoken, but they all knew it'd be one very awkward wedding with everyone there except her. Hunter then cleared her throat,

"I still think you two just need to see each other, face to face. I haven't talked to Sade, so I can't speak for her, but I'm sure she wants you there L."

Lauren gave her a double sided look. She wore a toothless grin on her face, but her eyes let Hunter know she was begging for the subject to be dropped.

"Look I appreciate y'all's concern, but it's fine, really."

Silence fell again as everyone's eyes sort of trailed to their plates of food. The other three shared knowing, unspoken looks while Lauren continued to eat her food calmly, and seemingly unbothered.

~ Meanwhile ~

"So you knew? This entire time?" Dylan asked Aria through a laugh.

"Of course I knew Bubba," she flashed a smile, holding his hand as they walked. "It's hard to get things past me, I thought you knew this already."

"Yeah you're right, it is," he shook his head. "I guess- I don't know, I guess I was afraid to tell you." Aria's face furrowed as he continued. "Scared that the conversation would eventually lead to us breaking up; that we wouldn't want the same things or wouldn't be able to figure it out-"

Aria stopped in her tracks, prompting Dylan to be subtly yanked with her. She reached up, on her tiptoes, to cup his cheeks with both her hands. Her mocha brown eyes peered into his of ocean blue.

"You worry too much Bubba," she said with a soft smile before leaning in to capture his lips. Grinning, he hummed into it,

"And you," Dylan slid both his hands lower down her back, resting just above her behind, "don't worry enough." He pecked her lips twice before smiling.

Aria playfully shrugged. "Eh, it keeps my stress levels low and makes everything more spontaneous. You should try it," she said, letting go and grabbing his hand so they'd continue walking. Dylan chuckled,

"Of course," he looked down at her, shaking his head with adoration. "Of course, it'd be the girl who's looking for a dress the day of a wedding, that would say such a thing."

"Hey, you don't see me flipping out about it do you? I'll find something," she assured. He smiled,

"I guess I could learn a thing or two from you." Aria looked up at him,

"What's new," she teased with a smirk.

Letting out a heartfelt laugh, Dylan playfully pushed her side, making Aria giggle as they walked.

Lauren's POV:

"Hey, I'm going to the bathroom real quick, I'll be back," I whispered to Hunter, who sat beside me. She turned to me with knit eyebrows,

"You need me to come with?" I shook my head, revealing a toothless grin.

Hunter's expression kept one of worry or concern, but I didn't worry too much about it.

As soon as I entered, a heavy breath I didn't even realize I'd been holding escaped my lips. Making my way into the stall, I locked the door before turning to rest my back on it, closing my eyes in relief.

I took as many deep breaths as I thought I needed before opening my eyes again, then turned around to unlock the door.

The restroom was utterly silent, given it was empty, thankfully. I rather enjoyed it, the silence. And though I've been distracting myself as much as possible by keeping myself around my friends or in a group setting, it's nice to have a moment alone. Although, not for too long.

I think I'm a bit numb right now, in regards to my feelings on my girlfriend going a bit ghost on me. It's like I've gone through the five stages of grief this week. Though, no one is dead. I don't know, I think I've just found it best to ignore everything that's happening until it goes away. It's foolish of me, but it's working so far.

Even though I didn't actually use the restroom, I washed my hands anyway, taking my time as I did so. Just as I'd finished up, grabbed some paper towels, and was about to head for the door, I felt my phone vibrate in my purse. My dad was the first person who came to mind when I thought of who'd be calling me right now. Either him or scam likely, because it sure as hell wasn't Sade.

Maybe Aria? I don't know.

To my surprise, the person whose face I hadn't seen on my screen in a week, was right before my eyes. My breath got caught in my throat, and I just stared blankly at my phone, trying to process. Before it could go to voicemail, with hesitation, I slid my thumb across the screen, then held the phone to my ear. It was silent for a brief moment before I spoke softly,

"H-hello?"

"Honeybee, hi..."

My eyebrows knit, hearing that nickname for the first time in a while. I didn't know how to feel. Half of me wanted to be pissed at her and hang up, but the other half was over the moon just hearing her voice.

"Hi Sade...." I wasn't sure what to say, and it was beginning to frustrate me.

Sade released a breath before speaking,

"Okay, I know we need to talk. And that's actually why I called..... where are you?"

"I'm out at brunch with King, Si, and Hunter.....where are you?"

"The hotel. I've been here since this morning. But I wanted to see you face to face, so if you want I'll co-"

"I'll come to you." Little emotion laced my voice as I cut her off. "You're at the hotel for the reception?"

"Yeah..." I nodded,

"Okay, see you in a few," I said before hanging up without giving her a chance to respond.

Immediately heading for the bathroom door, I made my way toward the table where my three friends sat, laughing and chatting. Their attention drew to me as I hurriedly walked up to them,

"What's wrong?" Kingston asked.

"Sade called me," I muttered, getting out my wallet to put my card down. "Put this in your wallet once they take my payment," I said to Hunter. She nodded in response.

"You're going to see her?" Silas asked knowingly. I could see him grinning out of the corner of my eye as I gathered my things in my handbag. I nodded. "Finally," he said, his hands flying up.

I chuckled. "Shut up Si," I said, shaking my head before turning towards the front door of the restaurant. "See y'all!" They waved me goodbye as I walked.

On the way here, all I could think about was what I'd say once she opened the door. And now that I've been standing here for at least five minutes and just now decided to knock, my mind's gone blank.

Not even five seconds after me knocking, the door had swung open, revealing a fresh-faced Sade. She was dressed in this black silk pajama set which I'd assume was for the bridesmaids or something. It was adorable on her, and I smiled internally at the sight. She grinned softly, and despite me wanting to do the same, I just couldn't. Not right now.

Without thinking much, I took a breath before beginning to ramble,

"Okay...before you say anything, I know you said you wanted to talk but I have to get this off my chest first." Sade let her face fall a bit, shaking her head,

"Lauren-"

"No just-" I slightly held my hands up, and she paused. "Please, just let me say this....I know I upset you. And yeah you said you weren't mad, and no matter how many times I've heard it, I still don't believe it. You..... You didn't speak to me, text, or call me for a week, Sade. We get sad after not seeing or talking to each other for more than twelve hours. And I know...I know you said you needed space. Why? I don't know, but still I tried my best to understand that and be okay with it." She had this look of apology and regret in her eyes as I went on, looking anywhere but her gaze for too long. A lump was starting to form in my throat, but I had to get it all out first before letting a single tear drop. "Look I'm sorry, alright? If me submitting your designs upset you, I really didn't mean for it to, okay? And if it was anything else I did that made you not want to speak to me, I'm sorry okay, for all of it. Just please don't...don't shut me out like that Sade. I'd love to pretend and act like I'm not phased by it, but the truth is it hurt, like a bitch."

There was a subtle silence for a moment while she just gazed upon me. Not saying anything, Sade took a step in my direction, causing my breathing to hitch. I just stood there as she inched closer to me, stopping just when her body subtly pressed against mine. She brought a hand up to caress my cheek with her thumb, and I let my head drop, feeling my emotions getting the best of me.

"Was that everything?" My girlfriend asked, barely above a whisper.

"Well no, but it's everything for now," I mumbled, keeping my head down and refusing to meet her gaze.

She then took the curve of her finger under my chin to lift my head. My glossy eyes briefly wandered elsewhere before finally, and reluctantly, peering into hers.

In this moment, nothing was said verbally, yet plenty words were spoken. I was a little upset, yes, but I knew it wouldn't last, especially with her this close and feeling her touch like this again. The two of us could have an entire conversation with just eye contact, and she knew it too.

The deal was sealed once Sade leaned in after a while of us just getting lost within each other's presence, and closed the gap between our lips. Though everything in me wanted to refuse and demand that we talk first, it was contradicted by my hands slipping around her neck as her arms snuck around my waist. She pulled me closer, if at all possible, and swiftly turned us around so she'd be walking us back into her hotel room. I, of course, didn't put up much of a fight.

On our way to the bed, my girlfriend had picked me up, allowing my legs to wrap around her torso as we engaged in a rather passionate kiss. And despite my initial feelings of frustration toward her, it nowhere near measured up to the way her touch made me feel.

Sade's POV:

We should've talked first, I know. And I know I hurt her. God knows I feel terrible for it. Seeing Lauren for the first time in a week, and knowing it was no one's fault but my own.....it's a punch in the stomach for sure.

I pushed her away, and since first being with her, I've never intended to do that. Lauren understands me like no one else, even Aria. And I just...I pushed her away. Why? Because I'm an idiot. And had I just talked to her, like I should've done in the first place, this week probably wouldn't have been nearly as hard as it was. And for that, I'm deeply sorry to her. She had no clue just how much. But my intention, as of now, was to show her; better than any words could ever muster up. I wanted her to feel just how sorry I truly am.

Laying my girlfriend's bare body down on the bed, I kissed every inch of skin exposed to me, slowly at that. She'd shudder under me at certain spots, and I smirked internally every time.

I only wore a black matching set of bra and underwear. That was until Lauren pulled me in, by the waist, pressing my body against hers to unhook the latch of my bra. She kissed me slowly while sliding the straps down my arms, and I created a bit of space between us to throw it across the room.

Her legs wrapped around my midsection, holding an iron grip as our lips refused to leave one another's. I took both her hands in mine, sliding them up the mattress to pin hers above her head. She moaned into my mouth, feeling my lower half push against her dripping core. The sound and feeling only amplified my own arousal.

Drawing my lips down further, I planted love marks on her neck and collarbone. I kept in mind that we still had a wedding to attend later so I didn't do too, too much. My right hand soon found her breast and caressed with firmness. Lauren sighed a breath of pleasure as I continued. I then trailed down to give attention to her breasts, and took my time, knowing it was her favorite.

As I glided my tongue slowly across her nipple, and flicked it rapidly before engulfing her breast entirely, my girlfriend's moans grew a bit louder. One of my hands retracted from having hers pinned to assist me by cupping her breast as I sucked on it. The grip her legs held around my waist tightened, letting me know she wanted more.

Keeping most of my attention on Lauren's breasts still, I slid my other hand slowly down her body, completely letting her hands go now. She didn't hesitate to grab my face, pulling it up only to kiss me, hard. I moaned into it, inching my hand further down to meet her core, and massage it slowly. The energy behind her kiss softened as she moaned into my mouth yet again, feeling pressure being added behind my touch. My other hand kept still on her breast, caressing it as the other caressed her center.

The minute I slid two fingers inside her slowly, Lauren's head flew back against the bed,

"Shit Sade-" she muttered with a hiss.

I smiled to myself at the sight of my girlfriend in this moment. Her eyes remained closed with her head hung back in pleasure. She was breathing irregularly, trying her best to keep her moans at bay. Though I never understood why, I'd told her a million times that it was music to my ears. I kissed aimlessly, on her neck, chest, jawline, chin, wherever my lips could reach as her body sort of arched into me.

Now was the time to switch gears, for I felt she'd gotten too comfortable after a while of my fingers pumping into her at a slow pace as I kissed on her body.

At an accelerating speed, my fingers plunged deeper and faster into my girlfriend's womanhood as I shifted my body to hold myself up better. Lauren's body was pressing against mine as her back arched higher and higher. Her moans had turned into faint whimpers, cutting every word that she attempted to speak short.

Feeling the need to gain more access, I pushed her left leg out and higher up. And I kept my body more on her right thigh, pinning it down in a way. With this shift in position and my increase of speed, Lauren had begun uttering obscenities under her breath as she gripped the sheets. Her chest heaved against my lips as I sucked on her breast again. And the minute I added a third finger, she'd hit her climax not even ten seconds later.

Not allowing her much time to come down from the high she'd just proclaimed, I kept my fingers inside of her while trailing my lips down her body. Taking my time, I made love marks on her breast, then her stomach, and one right on her hip. Her skin was so soft, and much like the tone of it, smooth like honey. Lauren had this scent that intoxicated me, a tropical aroma I'd say. And just being able to make her feel good, was all the pleasure I needed.

After sucking my fingers clean of her release, I glanced up at her just as I'd positioned my lips right before her center, only to find her gaze already on me. Though her eyes sat low, the look within them told me everything I needed to know. She'd forgive me.

Keeping eye contact with her, I neared closer to the fountain of nectar she'd just gifted me before laying my tongue flat upon it, then curving upwards. Lauren winced and whimpered a bit as I gathered every drop, reveling in the taste of her. The moan I released against her pearl from pure satisfaction caused her body to shake against me. I chuckled, which didn't make it any better.

"God- Sa-," Lauren moaned a bit, letting her head fall back against the bed once again.

The more I chuckled, the more her legs shook, which was what had been making me laugh. I tried, I really did, to stop, but it was kind of funny, the way her body would get so sensitive. My attempt to quit laughing had turned into a full on giggle, which caused Lauren squeal and scatter away from me, panting a little. My bad.

"You play too fucking much-" she muttered, chuckling a bit at while trying to catch her breath.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," I said. My laughter had died down completely. "Come here," I mumbled, licking my lips before hooking both my arms under her thighs to pull her back down to me.

Lauren sucked air between her teeth as I kissed her pearl sensually three times before licking it entirely. One of her hands went to rest atop the back of my head as the other gripped the sheets.

Once again, I let her relax for a while before picking up the pace. She got louder this time, instead of trying to hold back, and it made me smile internally.

"Don't stop....please.." she moaned, arching her back yet again while her head pressed into the mattress.

Oh honey, I wouldn't dare to.

Taking a hand from under one of Lauren's thighs, I slid it back up her body to grab ahold of one of her breasts, releasing a satisfied hum of my own. She rested her hand atop of mine, interlacing our fingers as I squeezed, soliciting a deep moan from her. And now with me sucking feverishly on her clit, she'd gotten away from me, her body arching toward the ceiling. Using a bit of force, I pushed her back down, and brought my arm back under her thigh to hold her in place. Lauren was now practically screaming every curse word in the book.

The faint whimpers had soon come about again, letting me know we were close. She got quiet for a moment, just as her juices had flown like a soft stream into my mouth and onto the white sheets. A subtle, pleasurable groan sounded from Lauren just seconds later.

That marks two, one more to go.
