We were sitting in the kitchen eating dinner. The twins had to leave for some business meet and Slipper had to 'pay a visit' to someone. I think I knew what that meant.
We were just talking when the topic of dances was brought up.
"Oh that's right. Theres a party that mafias are suppose to attend coming up. All mafias have to be there to show respect and to participate in any events that occur" Rachel said as she finishes her meal.
"Oh its Riku's turn ain't it?" Crystal asked. Only blood members of mafias are invited apparently.
"Yes, though I dont believe he'll go. He needs a date in order to attend but he never does. He would rather lie and say she was there or she was coming and would leave early"
He needs a date and he doesnt have anyone? That gave me an idea.
The twins came home and joined the others for dinner, but Riku skipped and went to his office and I soon followed after. Once I reached the door to his office, I gave a soft but firm knock so he would hear it. After hearing a deep 'come in', I opened it to find him going through some papers. Being a mafia looks tiresome.
"Berry, what brings you here?"
"Um, La- Rachel said you would be going to a party not long from now, and you didnt have anyone to go with"
He raised an eyebrow with confusion
"I was wondering, if I could go with you-" hesitant asking, I felt my face get warm.
RIKU
She wanted to be my date? Thats basically what she's saying. I paused in shock for a moment before responding, "A-are you sure? Some of these mafias arent too kind to civilians."
"I'll be ok. I'll have you."
That was totally a flirt. "If you're so sure, then we may go together. We'll leave any time you feel like it."
She started doing little jumps and left to get an outfit for it. I wasnt planning on staying for long anyway. I dont trust any of those mafia. As far as I'm aware, we are the only ones who dont hurt the innocent. I started looking through my own closet to find something nice to wear for her.

The day of the party came and we got ready to go. My bunny looked beautiful in her cotton blue dress. I wore a plain black suit with a red shirt underneath. We got in the car and drove to the destination.
We arrived to a garden as cars were already parked and people were already inside. The guard at the front bowed in respect to me. I am the most dangerous mafia around.
We walked in and people started greating me, some suprised to see Berry there. One girl had said she was suprised I brought 'one of those' girls, leaving Berry to question it.
"What did she mean by that?"
"You really wanna know?"
...
"She meant you were my whore" She scrunched her nose in disbelief and I couldnt blame her. It sounded more hurtful coming out of my mouth.
I got tired of the crowd and went to an empty space for some air. I was looking down the balcony when a pair of hands wrapped around me. I turned around to see Berry, but with a worried expression.
Couple seconds later, a man came over to us.
"Hey princess, where ya heading off to?" She hides behind me and tightens her grip as he gets closer.
I dont know what caused it, but I grabbed his wrist as soon as he came less than an inch to her, with rage filled in my eyes.
"You think you can touch what's mine?"
"Sorry, if I had known this was your slut-" I punched him in the face before giving him a chance to finish.
"Dont. EVER. talk about my queen like that again. If I see you even looking at her with those filthy eyes of yours, I will rip them out bare handed!" With those words, he ran to the gates. I was still looking to make sure he left when I felt a soft tug on my jacket. I turned and my eyes met my bunny's, hers with less fear than before but most with confusion and... lust?
"What- did you mean by queen?"
My gaze softened from her question. I realized I used that infront of her of accident. My body started feeling numb and I couldnt control myself.
I lifted her up into my arms and the next thing I felt was soft lips against mine. I had no idea what happened but I knew I liked it.
I kissed her.
And she kissed me back with the same amount of passion.
