Serena sits in her bedroom at her desk with her baby Pikachu on her lap as she gets ready for prom night. She brushes the baby Pokémon's fur as the electric mouse squeals in delight. Serena giggles and asks "Do you like that Pikachu."
Pikachu nods her head and smiles brightly at her trainer. Braixen, Sylveon and Brionne sit on the bed as they wait for Pikachu and Serena to get ready. Braxien and Brionne are already dressed up with Brionne wearing a blue dress and Braxien wears a red one. Sylveon sits there with a small pout on her face as she watches Serena's other Pokémon dress up.
Serena notices her pokemon's facial expressions and exclaims with a small smirk "Sylveon you know whyI'm going this. I told you I would get revenge." Sylveon huffs child like and turns her head away. Serena giggles as she finishes brushing Pikachu. She smiles at the baby Pokémon and asks "So Pikachu, are you ready to try on your dress."
Pikachu leaps up with excitement and exclaims
"Pika Pika!" Serena giggles at the baby Pokémon's excitement and places her on her desk. She then takes a white and pink dress out of her bag and slips it over her head.
She takes a step back and admires Pikachu's dress. The dress picked out was literally perfect in every way. The pink and white colour scheme matched her mothers colour scheme down to a tee. There is nothing to say but she looked so cute.
Serena smiles at her baby Pokémon and exclaims "Pikachu you look wonderful. The colour scheme makes you look just like Sylveon." Pikachu smiles and does a little twirl. Braxien and Brionne both call out in approval as Sylveon turns towards her adopted child and smiles. While she may be jealous that she's not going to prom with Ash's Pikachu, she still wants her child to be happy.
Serena picks up the baby Pokémon and remarks "Looks like your all ready to go. Why don't you sit with aunt Braxien while the rest of us get ready."
Pikachu nods and leaps on to Braxien's lap. While Pikachu and Braxien aren't as close as Sylveon and Pikachu she does still care about the baby of the team. It's just she's not as maternal as Sylveon is at least not in a motherly way. No she's more of that crazy aunt everyone has.
Serena turns towards her four Pokémon with a smile and exclaims "Well then looks like it's your turn Sylveon."
Sylveon tilts her head and asks in a confused tone "Veon?"
Serena smiles and explains "You really think I was going to keep you in your pokeball the entire prom? You may not be able to compete in the competitions but there's nothing stopping you having a little fun and supporting us is there."
Sylveon beams a bright smile and leaps into her trainers arms while affectionately rubbing her cheeks against Serena's. Serena giggles and remarks "I wouldn't let you down like that Sylveon, now let's get you ready."
Sylveon nods and smiles at her trainer as the two begin to get ready for the big night ahead.

Meanwhile Ash is waiting for Serena to get ready in the living room. He's wearing a navy blue suit and tie just for the occasion. He spends the time contemplating yesterday's events. First off the Alola league plays in his mind. The lose to Gladion hurts and it's no secret he's going to be a big threat once the league kicks off.
Next there is the team skull attack. His mind races as he tries to theorise what the hell the evil team could be up to. If things go badly again then he knows he's going to need to act but at the same time he's filled with worry. If they do organise a full scale attack how can he win this time. And more importantly how can he win without anyone else getting hurt?
Finally he remembers back to a more happy memory. After the news about team skull him and Serena went to bed for movie night. He was a bit surprised when Serena insisted on a horror movie considering she was always afraid of the supernatural in Kalos.
However the reason some became clear once the movie started and the first jump scare happened. Serena instantly jumped and pulled him to a tight hug while burying her head in his chest.
That pattern continued on throughout the film as Serena used Ash as her personal pillow. It's not like Ash minded though. Being close to Serena was comforting and he could never complain about hugging the most beautiful girl in the world.
Shaking himself out of his thoughts he turns to Pikachu and asks "Excited for tonight buddy." Pikachu excitedly climbs on to Ash's shoulder and exclaims "Pika, Pika!" Torracat is sleeping soundly while Toucannon is perched on the edge of the sofa looking bored of waiting.
Ash turns to his two Pokémon and reassures "Don't worry, I'm sure it won't be long now."
A few moments later, Ash hears a door creak up and a pattering of fret from up stairs. He smiles and whispers "Here we go." A few seconds later Serena enters the room with: Braxien and Brionne by her side.
Ash gaps as he gazes at his beautiful girlfriend's outfit. Serena is wearing a baby blue strapless prom dress similar to her dress at Pierre's dance party except baby blue. The colour of it perfectly matches her eyes making them glisten even more. She compliments this with a blue flower in her hair and blue heels. She finishes the look by tying her signature ribbon on her wrist.
Ash smiles and compliments in a loving tone "Serena, wow you look so beautiful."
Serena smiles and blushes at Ash's compliment. She then takes a closer look at Ash's choice of outfit and loves what she sees. While she loves Ash's casual look it's definitely refreshing to see him dressed up for a change. She really likes how nice the suit fits his physique making him look muscular but not too bulky. The raven hair is combed neatly but still keeps its free flowing edge. Finally she loves how their both wearing blue. It may be a little thing but it means they both match and that is kind of couple goals.
Serena shakes of her thoughts as she smiles and replies "Thank you Ash, your looking as handsome as ever."
Ash smiles at the comment and remarks "Thanks Serena, but you. Wow, how did I get so lucky."
Serena giggles and resposnds "I was thinking the same thing about you."
The two smile at each other lovingly with a glint in their eyes. Slowly they both lean forward ans allow their lips to drift towards each other. The two meet and engage in their own unique dance. The kiss is sweet and contains pure love. After a few seconds the two break with smiles and red blushes on their faces.
Ash scratches his cheek and asks "Is there going to be anymore of that tonight."
Serena giggles at her boyfriends playfulness and replies "Maybe but only if we win the competition."
Ash grins and exclaims "Then we are definitely going to win."
The two smile at each other until their thoughts are interrupted by another arrival into the room. Sylveon walks in while holding the baby Pikachu's hand. Ash's Pikachu gasps and steers at the two in awe. At awe first of how cute the baby Pokémon looks but next at Sylveon's outfit. She is wearing a gold dress with black accents that roughly matches Pikachu's colour scheme.
Ash notices his first Pokémon's reaction and asks "So what do you think buddy?" Pikachu snaps out of his trance and let's off an exited "Pika, Pika!"
Serena smiles and turns to her two Pokémon and whispers "See I told you he'd like it." Serena's Pikachu let's off an equally excited "Pika, Pika!" Sylveon meanwhile, turns her head away and blushes madly.
Ash smiles and holds his hand out. "Shall we get going beautiful, we don't want to be late."
Serena blushes lightly and takes Ash's hand. She nods and replies "Yeah, let's go and win this prom king and queen."
Ash nods and remarks "You know we will, I won't let us lose against any opponent."
Serena smiles and adds "Looks like I will carry us through the performance rounds."
Ash chuckles and finishes "Yes please do Serena." The two smile at each other and walk out the house hand in hand.
Ash and Serena arrive at the hall where prom is being held. Ash gets out of the hire car and thanks the driver before going round to Serena's side and letting her out. He holds her hand walks her onto a small red carpet.
Serena thanks Ash as the two walk inside through a big set of double doors. They enter the hall with their arms linked and with smiles on their faces. The students look up Ash and Serena walk down a big set of steps down to where the event is being held.
The power couple are instantly surrounded by students asking for prom photos with the two as well as complimenting their choice of outfit. Ash and Serena smile and take pictures with every student who asks. After a while the crowd disperses and they are approached by two familar faces.
"Alola Kiawe," Ash greets.
Kiawe smiles and replies "Hi Ash, Serena, it's good to see you both."
Serena smiles and responds "It's nice to see you too." She glances over at Mallow and compliments "See Mallow, I told you that green was your colour. You look amazing in that dress."
Mallow smiles and replies "Thank you Serena, you look stunning as ever. Like a real life Cinderella. As does Ash over here, I see you managed to dress him up for the occasion."
Serena winks and remarks "Yeah he let me play dress up with him. I think he looks really handsome."
Ash sighs and states "Whatever keeps you happy babe."
Kiawe laughs and teases "So Ash Ketchum does have a weakness."
Ash scratches his head nervously and replis "I guess you could say that."
Mallow giggles at Ash's suffering and exclaims "Serena, I'm really looking forward to your performance. I can't wait to see what you come up with."
Serena smiles and responds "Me too Mallow, I know you'll be awesome."
Kiawe puts his hands on his hips and remarks "You better be Serena, I need you too carry Ash here to the battle round for me."
Ash frowns and complains "I'm not that bad you know, what is this pick on Ash day."
Kiawe shrugs and says "Sure your not, but your not beating us that's for certain."
Serena puts a determined look on her face. She's all for a joke at her boyfriends expense but enough's enough. She remarks "Well we'll just have to see about that, but one thing I do know Ash is going to prove you both wrong."
Mallow smirks and repspnds "You sound confident Serena. We'll see you both out there."
Ash nods and finishes "Right, good luck both of you."
Suddenly Kukui takes a microphone and stands up on stage. He announces "Welcome all to our annual end of year prom. I hope you are all having a great time, it's great to see so many smiling faces."
The students and teachers alike cheer before the professor continues. "Now it's almost time for the performance round of our prom king and queen competition. So let me explain the rules to you all. Our performers will be required to do 3 performances with their pairs. Each performance will be judged out of 10 by our judges. After the 3 performances the 8 pairs with the highest average score will be put into our battle 8 tournament. The highest scoring performance will also receive a gift after the first section, Any questions please feel free to ask."
The crowd stays silent indicating that they have no questions. Kukui smiles and lends "So with that sorted. Let's get started with the first performance."
The first performance round comes and goes with a mixture of successful and unsuccessful performances. Ash and Serena wow the crowd thanks to Serena showcasing incredible skill. Her and Ash are on the same wave length at all time. Using their innovative minds they manage to come up with some unique combination moves while Serena does a great job of hiding Ash's inability to dance in her choreography.
Burnett and kukui take their experience of watching performances and manage to come up with some unique routines based on their love for each other. Mallow and Kiawe struggle a little more as Kiawe's pokemon have always been taught to battle but they use Volcarona's quiver and firey dance to their advantage to come up with a solid routine.
After all 3 pairs of Pokémon have performed, Kukui takes a microphone and takes the stage to announce the results.
The professor smiles and exclaims "Some fantastic performances all round, let's give everyone a round of applause."
The students all clap before they stop allowing the professor to continue. "Now let's look at the results for the performance round."
One by one Kukui announces the top 8 performing pairs, in order of placement, until we reach the top 3.
The professor smiles and announces "Mallow and Kiawe, please come to the stage you our 3rd place pair." The rest of the students and teachers clap as Mallow and Kiawe make their way to the stage.
The professor smiles and continues "Mrs Burnett, please come to the stage and join me. We managed to take 2nd place." Professor Burnett smiles and makes her way to the stage to join her husband.
With only one pair left to be announced Serean finds herself becoming quite tense. She closes her eyes and whispers "Please, please, please, please!" Ash notices his girlfriend's worry and takes her hand in his. Serena opens her eyes in surprise and looks over to her boyfriend. Ash gives her a reassuring smile, making her feel all her nerves drift away.
Suddenly the professor announces "And our first place team, with a score of 28 points out of a possible 30. Please welcome to the stage, Miss Yvonne and Mr Ketchum!"
Ash and Serena both let off a big cheer and lock each other in a quick hug. Their pokemon make a similar motion with their partners. Serena's Pikachu in particular locks her father figure in a pretty tight hug. Ash's Pikachu smiles and returns it with a strange warm feeling in his heart.
After the amour couple calm down their hold each others hands and make their way to the stage, standing in their dedicated first place spot.
Kukui smiles at the couple before he announces "Now we know the brackets for the battle round, it's time to announce our highest rated performance. That would be Miss Yvonne and Mr Ketchum with their Pikachu performance. Pleaee give them a round of applause."
Everyone claps in the room as both Pikachu's give each other a high five. Kukui hands Serena a box with a little bow on it. Serena smiles and say "Thank you."
Kukui nods to the couple before he gets his microphone and announces "So now that we have our brackets for the battle round, the battles will start in a little under 20 minutes time. Until then everyone enjoy the prom!"
The crowd claps as the professors leaves the stage. The students begin to chat amongst each other as the room descends into normalcy.
Ash and Serena leave the stage and find a quiet spot. Ash looks at the gift in Serena's hand and questions "So Serena, do you know what it is?"
Serena shrugs and replies "No idea, let's open it together."
Ash nods and exclaims "Sure." The two open the box together and see a sparkling of gold and silver inside. Serena gasps and she puts her hand inside and lifts the object into the air. She looks at the object in awe as Ash gets a good view of what it actually is. It's a gold necklace with a silver locket attached. The item looks relatively shiny and really stands out when being held by Serena's neck.
Ash gasps and remarks "Wow. That locket would look great on you Serena."
Serena smiles as she holds the locket against her. She agrees that it really would look great on her but there is someone else who she would also love to see wearing it.
She gazes at her boyfriend and replies in a soft tone "Thanks Ash, but I want you to have it."
Ash raises eyebrow and questions "Really, but why me Serena?"
Serena smiles and holds her ribbon on her left arm. "You gave me this ribbon back in Coumarine city and now I want to return the favour and give you something as a thank you for everything you've done for me."
Ash smiles and replies "Thank you Serena, I'll cherish it everyday just like you do with that ribbon"
Serena smiles and approaches her boyfriend. She takes the locket and puts it on his neck. While it locks pretty good like this, Serena thinks it could look a lot better if they lose some of the done up look. Besides it's battle time soon and there's no way Ash is going to keep himself looking smart while shouting attacks.
She grabs hold of his tie and slides it off, placing it into his jacket pocket. This lets the locket hang free and be the centre of attention but there is still ways in which she can improve the look.
She gets on her toes and unbuttons to the top 2 buttons of Ash's shirt, exposing a small part of Ash's chest. The feeling of unbuttoning Ash's shirt makes Serena grow a little red and she begins to become a little flustered. Part of her kind of wants to unbutton the whole thing. She catches herself realising where she is and that she is actually here as a teacher!
She takes a step back and ruffles his raven hair. She giggles at her handy work and playfully remarks "Now your even more handsome."
Ash smiles and replies "Thanks Serena." She wraps her hands around his neck and gives him a quick peck on the lips before locking him a big hug. Ash hugs Serena back as the honey blonde girl whispers "I love you Ash."
Ash smiles and whispers into her ear "I love you too Serena."
The two stay in an embrace momentarily befit they break apart. Ash smiles, at the affection he's receiving, and holds his hand out towards his girlfriend. "Now let's get back to the prom, we should get a good look at our potential future oppenents."
Serena nods in agreement and responds "Right Ash that's a good idea. Let's go and win this thing." The two lock hands and walk back to the battlefield.
The two make it the battlefield and watch the first 3 matches. In the second match Kukui and Burnett pick up an easy win and establish themselves as true contenders for the tournament. The in the 3rd match its Mallow and Kiawe's turn. They quickly take over the match and after 5 minutes they are fully in the drivers seat.
Mallow and Kiawe call for a combination move with Rowlet's seed bomb and Volcarona's bug buzz to finish the battle off. The referee anncounces them as the winners of the match as the two smile and leave the battlefield.
In the final battle of the first round it's Ash and Serena's turn. They both share a nod and walk onto the battlefield with confidence brewing. They decide to start the first round off with Brionne and Toucannon and are able to beat the two school kids after a few short minutes with a hydro pump and beak blast respectively. The referee anounces them as the winners and announces that the 2nd semi final match will be Mr Ketchum and Miss Yvonne vs the team of Kiawe and Mallow.
Ash looks at Kiawe and can sense a burning passion from him. Serena looks at Mallow and can sense a determination from her. The pairs share a nod as they await the start of the battle.
Ash begins to strategise for the upcoming battle and suggested "Serena, let's use our Pikachu's next round."
Serena nods and nervously replies "Sure Ash, but one tiny thing. My Pikachu has never battled anyone before. In fact I'm not sure she's ever used an attack on another pokemon before."
Ash smiles reassuringly and exclaims "That's okay Serena. It's not me and Pikachu's first battle, we'll be able to help you both out and I'm sure you'll do great."
Pikachu jumps on Ash's shoulder and shouts in a determined tone "Pika, Pika!"
Serena down looks at her Pikachu and makes a fist. She encourages "Right let's do our best Pikachu. Ash and Pikachu are counting on us."
Serena's Pikachu looks a little nervous at the prospect of battling and begins to shake. Sylveon notices her adopted child's fear and places her ribbon on her left shoulder and gives her some words of encouragement. Before long Ash's Pikachu joins her and places a hand on her other shoulder.
The baby Pikachu takes in their comfort and begins to feel more confident. She looks up at her trainer with a determined look. She really doesn't want to let her trainer down. After all she's the one who took her in. She also doesn't want to let Ash and Pikachu down. One being her trainers 'friend' who she turns really red around for some reason and does this weird dance with their lips with. The other being the one who's taught her so much in such a short space of time and helped grow her confidence.
Serena notices her baby Pokémon's look and exclaims "That's the spirit!"
Ash nods and adds "Looks like we've got nothing to worry about."
Just at that moment the 1st semi final finishes with Kukui and Burnett winning. Principal oak, who is refereeing and announcing, states "Please can our 2nd set of competitors take their places on the battlefield."
Ash turns to Serena with a confident look and remarks "Let's win this."
Serena matches her boyfriend's expression and replies "Right Ash, we won't give up till the very end."
Ash smiles hearing her using his line and finishes "That's the spirit! Now let's give it our all."
They both make their way to the battlefield and stand on one side while Malllow and Kiawe stand on the other.
Ash looks across with a grin and exclaims "Kiawe, let's make this a good battle."
The fire type trainer nods and responds "Right Ash, I won't hold back."
Mallow looks across the battlefield and states "Serena, you may be a friend but that doesn't mean I'll go easy on you."
Serena smirks with determination and replies "I wouldn't want to win any other way."
Principal Oak interrupts their back and forth and exclaims "Trainers please send out your pokemon."
Kiawe takes a pokeball out of his pocket and shouts "Turtonator let's go." Turtonator hits the battlefield and roars loudly.
Mallow takes a pokeball out of her pocket and shouts "Steene come on out" Stenne emerges from her pokeball and smiles at her opponents.
Ash and Serena look at each other and nod. They both extend their hands forward and shout at the same time "PikachuI choose you." Both Pikachu's run across their trainer's arm and leap on to the battlefield in unison. Serena fangirls in her head that she's copying Ash's movements while the baby Pikachu feels proud of herself that she managed to copy her father figure entry.
Sylveon and the rest of the pokemon watch on from the sidelines as she loudly exclaims in support "Veon!"
Principal oak raises his head in the air and announces "This will be a two on two battle between the team of Ash and Serena, vs the team of Mallow and Kiawe. The battle will be over once both sides pokemon are unable to battle. Are both sets of trainers ready?"
All four share competitive looks and nod. "Then let the battle begin!"
Serena and Ash at the same time both shout "Use quick attack." Both Pikachu's nod and kick off while surrounded with a faint white aura. Ash's Pikachu charges towards their opponents while Serena's follow closely behind.
Kiawe commands "Turtonator, get in front of Steene and use shell trap." Turtonator nods and steps in front of his partner before turning his back towards his opponents.
Luckily Ash was expecting this and quickly commands "Pikachu use thunderbolt." Ash's Pikachu nods and leaps up onto the air while sparking his cheeks. "PIKAAAACHUUUU!" He shouts as he fires off a bolt of lightning towards Turtonator.
Mallow shakes her head and exclaims "No you don't, energy back Steene." Stenne quickly forms a green ball of energy and throws it towards her opponent. The two attacks clash and cause a cloud of smoke to rise up. Turtonator, thinking it's clear, turns his body back around leaving his front exposed. Suddenly Serena's Pikachu slams her body into Turtonator causing the dragon type to stagger back.
She retreats towards her trainer and looks up with a smile hoping for a show of approval. Serena giggles and says "That was awesome Pikachu." The baby does a little happy dance as Ash's Pikachu puts his thumb up in approval.
Kiawe chuckles lightly and remarks "Not bad, now let's see how you handle this one. Turtonator flamethrower on Serena's Pikachu."
Turtonator nods and fire off a strong beam of flames towards the electric type Pokémon. The baby gasp at the sight of flames approaching her and cowers slightly. Ash notices and acts quickly as he shouts "Quick Pikachu use electro ball." Pikachu nods and forms a ball of electricity on his tail before flinging it towards Turtonator. Both moves collide and cause a small explosion.
Mallow smirks and commands "Now Stenne use leaf storm." Steene nods and fires off a storm of leaves through the smoke. The leaves quickly head towards Serena's Pikachu who stands parlayed in fear. Ash's Pikachu notices and just like his trainer his protective side kicks in. He leaps into the path of the incoming storm of leaves and takes the attack. Pikachu gets caught in the storm and slams straight into the ground.
Kiawe grins, the battle is going just how he planned, and shouts "Now Turtonator fire blast on Ash's Pikachu. Turtonator nods and fires off a blast of fire, in its usual unique shape towards Pikachu.
Serena shakes her head and shouts "Stay away from them! Use quick attack to get Pikachu out the way."
Serena's Pikachu puts a determined expression on her face. Now that she's got over the intial shock of having attacks coming towards her she's ready to battle. She kicks off with a white aura and tackles Ash's Pikachu out of the way of the incoming fire blast.
Ash looks over at Serena with an appreciative look and exclaims "Thanks Serena." She smiles and replies "Don't mention it Ash."
The two Pikachu's have a similar exchange on the ground as Serena's apologies for being scared and Ash's tells her not to worry about it.
Ash looks over to over side of the battlefield and thinks to himself "I know your plan now Kiawe." He raises his arm forward and shouts "Pikachu use iron tail on Steene." Pikachu nods and leaps into the air while coating his tail with iron.
Kiawe counters "Turtonator shell trap again." Turtonator nods and gets in front of his partner while readying his trap. Ash smirks and shouts
"Pikachu combine it with electro ball." Pikachu grins and adds an electro ball on the end of his tail before slamming it towards Turtonator. The attack connects and causes Turtonator to skid back towards his trainer while sending Pikachu high up into the air.
Ash smirks and shouts "Now Pikachu, mid air thunderbolt. Pikachu sparks his cheeks and shouts "PIKAAAACHUUUUU!" As he fires of a bolt of electricity towards his opponents.
Mallow frowns and commands "Stenee use energy ball again." Stenee nods and fires off a ball of green aura towards Pikachu. The two attacks clash and cancel each other out.
Serena smirks and commands "Now Pikachu use heart stamp." Her Pikachu nods and creates a red heart before throwing it towards Steene. The heart slams straight into the grass type and causes her to skid back along the ground.
Mallow gasps and questions Stenee, Turtonator are you okay. " They both nod to their trainers and rise back to their feet.
Ash looks at he two Pokémon and notices something. While Stenne is looking fatigued Turtonator hasn't really taken any significant damage. He thinks to himself "I need to land a direct hit on Turtonator, we're not doing enough damage to take it out." He thinks for a second until a plan pops into his head.
Ash closes his eyes and focuses his aura. After a few seconds his vison blacks out before it appears a few feet next to him. He says through aura "Serena I have a plan, it's a bit of a reckless one but you need to trust me. Keep attacking with your Pikachu and draw their attention so we can get in close and land a direct attack."
Serena closes her eyes and focuses her own aura for a reply. She responds "Okay Ash, I trust you." She opens her eyes and shouts "Pikachu use thunderbolt on Steene." Her Pikachu nods and leaps up into the air, copying her father figure actions and shouts "PIKACHHUUUUU!" As he lets off bolt electricity.
Kiawe commands "Dragon pulse now Turtonator." The dragon type Pokémon roars and fires off a purple beam of dragon energy towards his opponent. Both attacks clash and canvel each other out.
Serena puts on a determined look and shouts "Now Pikachu, use heart stamp on Turtonator." Pikachu nods and throws a red heart at the fire type Pokémon.
"Steene use energy ball," Mallow counters. Steene nods and forms as ball of energy before throwing it towards Pikachu. Both attacks collide and nullify each other.
Mallow smirks and commands "Now hit Pikachu with low sweep." Steene nods and rushes forwards, kicking the baby Pokémon to the ground. Serena gasp with worry as he pokemon hits the ground.
Meanwhile Sylveon cries out and nearly jumps onto the battlefield to give Stenee a piece of her mind for hurting her child. Thankfully Braxien was able to hold back the over protective mother.
Back on the battlefield Kiawe grins and commands "Now, finish this with...."
"Not so fast! Pikachu use iron tail!"
Ash's Pikachu appears out of nowhere with his tail coated in metal. He swings it round and smacks it straight into the back of Turtonator's head causing him to fall forward."
This distracts Mallow giving Serena a chance to follow up. "Now use heart stamp on Stenne!" Serena's Pikachu nods and fire off a red heat towards the grass type Pokémon. It connects and causes her to skid along the floor as both Pokémon collapse into a pile on the floor, laid out on top off each other .
Ash and Serena grin and shout in unison "Let's wrap this up, Pikachu use thunderbolt." Their
Pikachu's leap into the air and rub their sparking cheeks together. They both shout in unison "PIKAAAACHUUUUUU!" As they fire off a joint thunderbolt towards their opponents. The attack lands on both Pokémon causing a massive explosion. Once the explosion settles Turtonator and Stenee are laid out with swirls in their eyes.
"Turtonator and Stenne are unable to battle, Miss Yvonne and Mr Ketchum are the winners."
Ash and Serena smile at the announcement of their victory and run towards their Pikachu's who jump up on to their respective shoulders to celebrate.
On the other side, Kiawe and Mallow return their pokemon and thank them for their efforts.
Ash and Serena's Pikachu's let off happy cries as they celebrate with their trainers. Ash smiles and comments "Great job buddy."
Serena nods and adds "You were both great." The two Pikachu's leap off their trainers and back onto the floor. They give each other a small fist pump as Serena's Pikachu feels elated at having won her fist battle.
Sylveon smiles at the pair and rushes over with a proud smile on her face. She locks the two in a affectionate hug as the baby Pikachu nuzzles into her adopted mother. Ash's Pikachu once again feels this weird feeling being so close to the two that the electric mouse doesn't understand. He shrugs it off though and returns the family hug.
After a few seconds of silence the two older Pokémon begin to hear light snores. They look down to see that the baby Pikachu has fallen asleep in their joint embrace. It's no surprise really that she has fallen asleep, after a battle and a performance is a lot for a young pokemon.
Sylveon goes to wrap her ribbon feelers around her child when she's suddenly beaten to the punch. Ash's Pikachu picks up the smaller Pikachu and wraps her up in his embrace. Feeling her father figures strong arms around her, the baby Pikachu feels safety and comfort as she drifts off into a deep sleep.
Sylveon watches the two with a motherly smile on her face and a tint of blush. Ash's Pikachu may be dense to her feelings but he's certainly caring towards her adopted child. Her motherly instincts over rule her lust and make her happy with the situation. Pikachu will get there one day even if it may take some time."
Meanwhile Ash and Serena approach their previous opponents with smiles on their faces. Kiawe shakes his head and remarks "I can't believe I fell for it. I was so distracted by the other battle I forgot about you Ash."
The raven haired boy nods and states "Yeah that was my plan, but it wouldn't be possible if Serena didn't hold it down for me. She was amazing out there."
Serena blushes at her boyfriend's compliment and replies "Thanks Ash but I would have lost if it wasn't for your help. You saved me hero."
Mallow shakes her head and exclaims "Serena you were amazing, never let anyone tell you otherwise. Don't doubt yourself."
Serena smiles at her friends words and responds "Right you too Mallow."
They all shake hands and leave the battlefield. A they leave Ash and Serena find themselves running into their next opponents, Kukui and Burnett.
Kukui smirks and remarks "Well we all knew it would come to this."
Burnett nods in agreement and states "It's an honour to finally get to battle you both."
Ash pumps his fits and replies "You bet, it's an honour for us too."
Serena nods and adds "Your both like big siblings to us but that doesn't mean we're going to go easy on you."
Ash grins and states "That's right we'll give it everything we've got."
Serena finishes while matching Ash's grin "And we won't give up until the very end."
Both professors laugh at the couples clear chemistry and determination. Burnet smiles and remarks "We wouldn't expect anything less from you both."
To two couples grin at each other with a clear competitive edge. Serena and Burnet to talk as Ash pulls Kukui to one side. He looks at the professor with interest and asks "So, are you gonna be using Incineroar."
Kukui smiles and questions "I'm assuming you'll be using Torracat."
Ash nods with a small smirk and confirms "Yeah, we've been waiting for this rematch for a while. We won't lose this time."
Kukui smirks and remarks "I like your confidence ,I'll see you out there."
The two fist bump and mentally agree to make this match a good one. Principal Oak takes the microphone and announces "Can the two finalists please take your places on the battlefield."
Both couples make their way to the battlefield and stand on opposite sides. Ash and Serena look at the two professors as principal Principal Oak announces the rules.
"This will be a 2 on 2 double battle between the team of Ash and Serena vs the team of Kukui and Burnet. The winner will be declared once both the opponents pokemon are unable to battle and there will be no substitutions. Trainers please send out your pokemon."
Kukui takes a pokeball out of his pocket and shouts "Incineroar, let's go!" Incineroar exits his pokeball and lets out an almighty roar.
Burnett readies her pokeball and exclaims "primirina let's go." Primirina lands on the battlefield with an elegant pose.
Ash takes a pokeball and grins. He throws it forward and shouts "Torracat I choose you!" Torracat emerges from his pokeball and is completely fired up. He glares at his evolution with determination while Incineroar grins at him ready to put him in his place again.
Serena takes her pokeball and does a neat little twirl and elegantly throws her pokeball. She exclaims "Braxien, I choose you." Braxien hits the battlefield and does a little twirl with her wand much to the happiness of the crowd.
Principal oak raises his hand and questions "Are both pairs ready." All four look at each over and nod. Principal Oak drops his hand and exclaims "Let the battle begin!"
Ash and Serena both extend their hands forward and shout "Use flamethrower." Braxien nods and twirls her wand around and fires off a beam of fire while Torracat exhales his own beam off fire.
Burnett counters "Use hydro pump Primirina." The fully evolved starter nods and fires off a beam of water towards her opponents. The three attacks collide as the water evaporates the fire, causing a large cloud of thick back smoke.
Ash pumps his fist and shouts "Use leech life on Incineroar." Torracat nods and leaps through the smoke with glowing green fangs and bites down on Incineroar. He screams out in pain as Torracat sinks his fangs deeper before retreating towards his trainer.
Burnet frowns and commands "Primirina, get a lock on Torracat then hit him with a sparking aria."
Serena shakes her head and shouts "Not so fast! Braxien use psychic." Braxien appears behind Primirina as she holds her wand in the air. Her eyes glow blue for a second before the glow transfers to her opponent. She picks up Primirina and slams her to ground with force.
Both the Professors Pokémon shrug off their respective hits. Kukui smirks and mutters "Not bad."
Ash grins and remarks "Let's keep up up the pressure, Torracat use flamethrower on Incineroar." Torracat nods and inhales before exhaling a powerful flamethrower towards his fully evolved counter part.
Kukui counters "Use darkest lariat to block." Incineroar nods and extends his arms out and begins to spin as the flames approach. He uses his attack to completely spin through the flamethrower, avoiding any damage.
Serena commands "Now Braxien use hidden power on Primirina." Braxien nods and twirs her wand around before throwing off 3 purple orbs towards her opponent.
"Counter with moonblast," Professor Burnett orders." Primirina opens her mouth and forms a pink ball of mist before launching it forward. The two attacks collide and cause a small explosion.
Ash pumps his fist and commands "Torracat use bite on Primirina." Torracat nods and charges towards his opponent with fangs bearing.
Burnett frowns and commands "Don't let it get close, Primirina use hydro pump." Primirina nods and inhales before exhaling a powerful beam of water towards Torracat.
Serena acts quickly and shouts "Use psychic on Torracat Braxien. Lift him into the air to dodge the attack." Braxien waves her wand in front of her as a blue tint appears in her eyes. Suddenly a blue glue surrounds Torracat as a floats into the air, barely avoiding the incoming hydro pump. Braxien waves her wand again and throws Torracat towards Primirina with his fangs extended. The fire type Pokémon nears his target and prepares to bite down when out of nowhere, Incineroar smacks him straight out of the air with a darkest lariat. Torracat flies back with a cry of pain and lands just in front of his trainer.
Kukui smirks and comments "That was an impressive combination. It's shame it's not enough to beat us."
Ash grins and replies "If you think that was strong you've seen nothing yet."
Kukui shakes his head and commands "Incineroar, use flamethrower on Torracat." Incineroar grins and fires off a beam of flames from his belt.
Ash puts on a serious look and exclaims "Torracat get moving!" Torracat nods and leaps out of the way of the first flamethrower before another comes hurtling towards him. He runs around and dodges the next flamethrower. The pattern continues for a few seconds as Ash prepares to lead the professors into a trap.
Burnet becomes impatient at the constant game of cat and mouse (more like cat and cat) and shouts "Now Primirina use hydro pump to stop Torracat." Primirina cries out and fires off another beam of water towards the cat."
Ash grins as he sees his plan coming together and shouts "Dodge it!" Torracat rolls and dodges once more making the hydro pump and flamethrower crash into each other creating a cloud of protective black smoke.
Ash pumps his fist and commands "Now it's time to use our new move. Flare blitz on Primirina." Torracat takes a step back before coating himsle in flames. He charges forward and smacks his whole body into the water type Pokémon causing her to crash into the ground while covered in burn marks.
The two professors gasp as they realise they've been outplayed by the raven haired trainer. Serena smiles at her boyfriend's genius on the battlefield and commands "Now Braxien, finish off Primirina with fire blast." Braxien twirls her stick around and shoots off a fire blast in its own unique shape straight towards the water type starter. Primirina's eyes widen as the attack heads towards her with no time to dodge. It connects and causes a huge explosion that fills up the battlefield. Once the dust settles Primirina is laid out with swirls in her eyes.
Principal oak announces "Primirina is unable to battle."
Burnett returns Primirina and thanks it for their hard work. Kukui smirks and comments "Impressive strategy Ash, but I hope you don't think this battle is over yet."
Ash shakes his head and exclaims "Wouldn't dream of it, you ready Serena."
Serena puts on a competitive look and exclaims "Of course Ash."
They both shout at the same time"Use flamethrower." Braxien twirls her wand and fires off a beam of flames while Torracat exhales another powerful flamethrower.
Kukui counters "Flamethrower as well." Incineroar smirks and fire off his his own flamethrower from his belt. The three attack collide and cancel each other out as Incineroar alone is able to counter both attacks.
Ash pumps his fist and shouts "Use flare blitz." Torracat nods and coats himself in flames before charging towards his fully evolved form.
Kukui shouts "Counter with darkest lariat." Incineroar extends his arms out and spins towards Torracat. The larger Pokémon smacks his body into the smaller one causing him to skid along the ground in pain.
Ash gasps and shouts "Torracat no!"
Kukui grins and shouts "Now finish him. Incineroar use close combat." Incineroar grins and turns his limbs white before charging towards his opponent.
Serena frowns and commands "No you don't! Braxien move Torracat with psychic." Braxien pulls out her wand as a blue glow forms in her eyes. The glow transfers onto Torracat as she lifts him into the air and moves him to a safe distance, barely avoiding the incoming Incineroar.
Kukui grins and remarks "That was a good move Serena, but I'm afraid it will be your last. Use flare blitz on Braxien." Incineroar nods and coasts himself and a jet of flames before charging forwards.
Serena commands "Braxien use fire blast to stop him." Braxien nods and shoots out a fire blast in its usual shape from her wand.
Kukui grins, really feeling the thrill from this battle and shouts "Burst right through it Incineroar." Incineroar nods and powers through the fire blast and smacks straight into Braxien causing her to fly back across the battlefield. She crashes straight into a table and lays with swirls in her eyes.
Principal Oak exclaims "Braxien is unable to battle."
Serena runs over to her injured pokemon and kneels next her. She smiles to her and remarks "Thanks for your help Braxien, you were great. Now return."
Serena walks back over to the battlefield and stands next to her boyfriend. Ash feels really guilty about what just happened. He promised Greninja he wouldn't let Braxien get hurt and she did. All because he got over aggressive with Torracat. Thank Arceus Greninja wasn't watching or he'd definitely be giving him a piece of his mind.
Ash turns to Serena and says in a downed tone "I'm sorry Serena, Braxien got knocked out because of my carelessness. If you didn't have to save me it wouldn't have happened."
Serena puts a hand on his shoulder reassuringly and replies in a soft tone "It's okay Ash, we're a team and I still believe you can win this for us. I believe in you Ash and that's all that matters."
Ash feels reassured by his girlfriends words and exclaims "Your right Serena, we'll give it our all."
Ash looks at Torracat who is struggling to get back to its feet as he desperately claws the floor. Ash puts a determined look on his face and shouts "Torracat, I promised you I'd get stronger with you after Stoutland passed. Since then we've both been training hard to fulfil our promise. let's show everyone just how strong we've become!"
Torracat feels determination run through his veins, only lifted by his trainers words. He lifts his head up to see Incineroar mocking him, telling him to bring it on. His body fills with anger and a will to finally beat his rival. As he tries to get up he fears a small rustling off metal. He looks down to see Stoutland's collar around his neck. The site of the collar fills him with strength. He thinks back to his promise to get stronger and move on from him with his new family. He also remembers his own promise to his late father. To continue on his legacy once he's gone.
He stands up with a determined look on his and lets out a massive roar. Ash can sense a presence watching them spurring Torracat on. He notices an invisible ghostly aura surrounding the cat. He whispers to himself "Stoutlan, it's lending him its strength."
Torracat let's off an almighty roar as his body begins to glow. Suddenly his limbs grow and change as the glow only gets brighter. Ash just smiles as he glances up at the sky. He whispers I told you he'd be okay Stoutland." The glow subsides as Incineroar lets out a large roar.
Kukui smiles and whispers to himself "Now it starts."
Ash's Incineroar shoots out a flamethrower to the sky as he shows off his new found strength. Ash smiles and exclaims in a warm tone "I Knew you could do it. Now let's show them how strong we really are." Incineroar nods to ash before putting his paw to his collar.
Serena finds herself tearing up at the site of the evolution. She couldn't be prouder of the two of them right now. The night Ash called her crying about Stoutland's death will stick with her for the rest of her life. Seeing someone so upbeat be so down is never a nice feeling. However seeing how far the two have come since then, even if she has only seen parts of it, makes her heart happy.
Ash gets the battle started back up as he commands "Incineroar use flare blitz." Ash's Incineroar nods and coats himself in flames before charging towards his opponent.
Kukui smirks with a fiery look in his eye and shouts "You two Incineroar!" Kukui's Incineroar makes the same motion and lunges forward. The two attacks clash and are evenly matched, forcing both to crash backwards.
Kukui is first to make a move and commands "Now use close combat." Kukui's Incineroar nods and charges forward with glowing white limbs."
"Jump up and dodge it!" Ash shouts. Ash's Incineroar leaps up over Kukui's and dodges the incoming attack. Ash shouts "Now use flamethrower." Ash's Incineroar nods and exhales a powerful flamethrower that smacks into Kukui's Incineroar, forcing him to tumble back but land on his feet.
Kukui shakes his head and orders "You won't win that easily. Incineroar use darkest lariat." Kukui's Incineroar extends his arms and charges with force towards Ash's. The ferocity of the attack catches Ash off guard as his Incineroar tumbles back.
Ash frowns and shouts "Stay strong, now use flamethrower." Ash's Incineroar fires off a powerful flamethrower from his belt.
Kukui calls out, dodge it and then use darkest lariat to end this."
Ash smirks and shouts "Incineroar, remember our training with Charizard. Grab it!" Ash's Incineroar nods and extends his arms out. He digs his feet in holds his hands out as the attack nears. He catches his opponent just like his mentor did and let's off a small smirk.
Ash doesn't waste any time and shouts "Now Incineroa, point blank flamethrower." Incineroar fires off a flamethrower from his belt that Sends Kukui's Incineroar flying back.
Both Pokémon stand across from each other feeling completely exhausted. Their trainers shout at the same time "Let's wrap this up. Use darkest lariat."
The two Incineroars's nod and extend their arms out before spinning towards each other. The attacks clash as the two rivals go head to head. They both push against each other with neither side willing to give an inch.
Ash shouts "Incineroar, I know you can do this! Remember our promise. Let's fulfil that promise now!"
Incineroar hears his trainers words and remembers his late father. He gets another burst of energy as a silhouette of Stoutland appears behind him. Suddenly the ghostly aura around him intensifies and pushes him forward increasing the power of its darkest lariat. He lets out one final roar and pushes forward with everything he's got causing a huge explosion.
The crowd gaps and watch on with intense looks. Ash and Kukui don't break eye contact and stare at each other with determination. Serena puts her hand on her ribbon and whispers "Please."Everyone watches on, unsure of the scenario until the smoke starts to clear. Both pokemon stood. Eyes meeting as they try to stay strong. However a fall seconds later an Incineroar falls.
The smoke starts to clear and the Incineroar that fell soon becomes clear.
It's was not Ash's
It was Kukui's
Principal oak raises his hand and announces "Professor Kukui's Incineroaris unable to battle. Miss Yvonne and Mr Ketchum are your winners and this years prom king and queen."
Serena smiles happily as the crowd loudly cheers. She runs and leaps straight into Ash, locking him in a tight hug. She buries her head on his shoulder and exclaims "Ash we did it! You and Incineroar were amazing. I'm so proud of you both."
Ash returns the embrace and her replies "Thanks for the help Serena, without you we would have had no chance. You are amazing."
Serena smiles at her boyfriend's compliment and rubs her nose against his. She giggles and exclaims lovingly "Its no trouble Ash. We won this together as a couple. You me and all our Pokémon. I'm so happy I can't even describe it.
Ash smiles, Serena's happiness is always the priority and he can tell how giddy winning this has made her. He holds her tightly in an embrace before they break apart.
Ash gives his girlfriend a nod before he approaches Incineroar. He looks into his Pokémon's eyes and exclaims "Incineroar, thank you for your help. We did it, we achieved what we both promised to Stoutland. I know he's watching and he's smiling right now. He's going to be so proud of you."
Incineroar puts his hand to his collar and smiles he the extends a fist towards Ash and smiles. Ash smiles and fist pumps his new fully evolved fire starter.
The Professor both approach the couple with smiles on their faces. Kukui speaks first and remarks "Ash, that was a great battle. Thank you for giving me the chance to battle you."
Ash shakes his hand and replies "Thank you professor, without your help Incineroar wouldn't have reached his potential so thank you."
Burnett smiles and exclaims "Serena, It's was an honour to share a battlefield with you. You are just as elegant in battle as you are in during performances.
Serena smiles and responds "Thanks Burnet, you are pretty great too."
The pairs all shake hands as the crowd of students clap, having witnessed one incredible battle. Principal Oak takes the microphone and announces "We will be starting the prom king and queen ceremony very shortly. Can everyone please go to their places." Ash and Serena as well as the two professors take their places as they await the start of the ceremony.
Professor Kukui gets back on stage and takes the microphone as be prepares to host the award ceremony. "First of all I would like to thank you guys for all your effort in the tournament, give yourselfs a round of applause." The students all clap and cheer before the professor continues. "Now, before we coronate our prom king and queen. We would first like to announce a few awards to the class. First off is our best performering student pair. Please welcome to the stage Mallow and Kiawe.
The crowd claps as Kiawe and Mallow both walk on to the stage and both receive a medal. The usual awards you expect keep being given out at a prom by by. Class clown , most likely to be famous etc.
Eventually the professor reaches the most improved student around. Kukui smiles and announces "This goes to the student who has made the most progress this year. I am pleased to announce our winner this year is Lillie Aether."
Lillie gaps in shock and excliams "What me! An award?"
All students and teachers clap for the young girl. Ash smiles and shouts "Good job Lillie."
She gets a hold of herself and make her up to he stage. She smiles brightly as Professor Burnett hands her the award and congratulates her. Lillie makes her way off the stage as the time to coronate the new king and queen nears.
Kukui Announces with a smile on his face "Now that all the awards are done, Mr Ketchum and Miss Yvonne please come to the stage."
Ash and Serena both beam a smile at each other as their names are announced. They walk hand in hand to the stage, stopping at their designated spot. Kukui looks at the couple and exclaims "Congratulations on becoming this years prom king and queen. You and your pokemon were all fantastic and your bond has taught us all so much. Now it's time to coronate you both as this years prom king and queen."
Kukui walks up to the pair and puts a tiara on Serena's head before Burnett wraps a sachet over her shoulder which reads prom queen. Serena starts to feel a little dizzy as it starts to sink in that she's just won the prom queen with the boy she's loved since childhood. It may seem small to some people but to her it's was so perfect. This night would be one the happiest of her life.
Kukui then steps towards Ash and puts a crown on his head. Burnett wraps a sachel over his shoulder that reads prom king. Ash whisper to Both professors "Thank you." They both smile at the teenage boy and nod.
Kukui grins and hands the microphone to Ash as the students clap and chant "Speech!"
Ash shakes his head at the professor for the stitch up. He feels a hand grips his as he looks to his left to Serena with a beaming smile on her face. With his girlfriend's encouragement Ash let's the words flow from his mouth "First off I would like to thank professor Burnett and Kukui for the invites to tonight's prom. We've both had an awesome time and we'll cherish these memories forever. We'd also like to thank all our pokemon for all their hard work, their the real stars of the show. I'd also like to thank Serena for being the best partner possible, without her there's no way I could do any of this."
Ash turns his head towards Serena as she smiles at his compliment. She quickly pecks his lips much to the delight of the crowd. Ash smiles and hands her the microphone to finish off the speech. We'd also like to thank all the students for making us feel at home and treating us with respect. You've all been really respectful and allowed us to be ourselves. I know we're famous but really we're the same as you when the cameras are off, just kids who want to achieve our dreams. Finally I'd like to thank Ash for being the best boyfriend in the world and for making my dream come true of becoming prom queen."
The students and teachers clap as Ash and Serena smile at each other with nothing but love for each other in their eyes. Suddenly their thoughts are shifted from each other as slow music starts to play. Kukui gets back on the microphone and announces with a knowing smile "Now it's time for our prom king and queen dance!"

Ash looks at Serena nervously and questions "Um Serena, should we?"
Serena beams an excited smile at her boyfriend and replies "Of course we should Ash! Why wouldn't we."
Ash scratches the back of his head and remarks "Well you know, your am amazing dancer and I've got we'll my own unique sense of rhythm. Plus what..."
Serena puts her finger to Ash's lip to stop his rambling and whispers in a slightly seductive tone "Shhhhhh, just let me lead. Now ask me to dance my prom king."
Ash gulps slightly at her tone and gives in to his girlfriend's request. He holds his hand out and asks "Serena, may I have this dance? My prom queen and future Kalos queen."
Serena feels completely giddy with excitement and takes Ash's hand. She replies "You may."she internally fangirls and screams in her head "Finally I can get that dance from Pierre's party! I've waited so long!"
The two walk to the dance floor and begin to slow dance as a spot light beams down on them. Ash wraps one arm around Serena's slim waist while connecting their other hand. Serena puts her other hand on Ash's Broad shoulder as the two step in unison. They move to the music and everything seems to be going surprisingly despite the fact that Ash has no idea what he's doing.
Serena is shocked by how well this is going. She's a pokemon performer so of course she loves to dance but dancing with Ash is special. She giggles with a slight blush on her face and comments "Wow Ash, since when did you learn how to dance."
Ash smiles feeling a really warm feeling in his body being so close to Serena. He relies "I didn't, it's just your that good."
Serena giggles and exclaims "I'm going to kick this up a notch just keep ahold of my hand." Ash nods and holds Serena's hand as she does a spin before doing a little flip with a little kick out, causing some of the kids cheer. She then spin back towards Ash, ending up facing away from her as he instinctively hugs her from behind. Serena smiles at the gesture and sinks her body into Ash's slightly before spinning back out.
She spins back towards him and wrap her arms around Ash's neck. Ash places his hands around her hips as they begin to sway from side to side to the rhythm of the music. They lean their foreheads against each other and close their eyes, enjoying the moment. All they can think about at the moment is each other. How much love they have and much they care from one and other.
As the music starts to end, Ash dips Serena down, much to her shock, and holds her there as the music ends. Ash smiles at his girlfriend lovingly as she looks at him with love in her eyes.
Serena feels a sudden urge to show Ash her love so she does it in the best way she knows. She grabs him by the collar and pulls him down towards her. She smacks her lips straight into his with aggression but also passion. Ash's eyes widen as his lips become engaged by Serena's. After the initial shock he smiles into the kiss and returns it with the same passion. Their lips engage in their own signature dance as they continue to kiss with love breaking through the initial aggression.
Everyone in the room cheer as Kukui and Burnett joke and place bets on who's gonna need air first. For the two they completely block out the outside noise and continue to engage each other. Ash enjoys the sweet taste of Serena's strawberry lips while she enjoys the enjoys the sensual feeling of letting her lips drift on to her childhood crush's mouth.
After around a minute or two Ash and Serena both realise where they are as Ash breaks up the kiss. They both just smile at each other with joy on their faces. Ash lovingly sighs and says in a soft tone "Serena, I love you."
Serena smiles and replies "I love you too Ash, more than you could ever know." Ash lifts Serena up slightly and holds her in his embrace. Serena places her arms around his neck. The two lean their foreheads against each other and giggle with blushes in their heir faces.
Meanwhile, Kukui shakes his head and hands Burnett a bill for losing the bet. Ash and Serena hold hands and make their way off the dance floor.
The party starts up as students start to dance and celebrate the end of the school year. Ash and Serena both take a step back and let the students take centre stage. They both sit with Kukui and Burnet, they all bond at the table and Kukui jokes that Ash owes him some money.
The two couples sit around and tell some stories and have a really god rest of the evening. Professor Kukui, being the responsible big brother that he is, even sneaks Ash and Serena a drink each.
Their pokemon soon join them at the table as they begin to interact. The two Incineroar's chat and make up a little with both of them having a lot in common.
Sylveon and Pikachu continue to look after their sleeping baby as Sylveon looks at the dance floor with a longing look. Braxien seems to notice her friends conflict and acts. She takes the sleeping Pikachu into her arms and nods to Sylveon. The fair type Pokémon smiles gratefully and drags Ash's Pikachu kicking and screaming to the dance floor.
Ash notices his first Pokémon being abducted and suggests intervening. Serena shakes her head and looks at Ash with a look that screams, you do that your sleeping on the floor tonight.
Ash gulps and concedes defeat. At the end of the day keeping Serena happy is more important than saving Pikachu from Sylveon. After all maybe it could be a good thing.
Sylveon drags Pikachu to the dance floor and forces her to dance with him. At first Pikachu is a little hesitant but Sylveon's baby doll eyes win him over. The two dance and Pikachu begins to feel that strange warm feeling again.
The night continues as planned as everyone has a great time, creating memories that will last a life time.

After prom, Ash and Serena are at the docks and are speaking with Mallow and Kiawe. Ash raises an eyebrow and questions "So your sure about going back to Akala island?"
Kiawe nods and replies "Yes I'm sure, I feel like I need some intense training to get stronger. I now have the knowledge from you Ash and it's my job now to make it all happen."
Ash smiles and remarks "I see, I can't blame you and I think it's a great idea. Make sure to say hello to your family for me too."
Kiawe smiles and says "I will Ash." The two rivals give each other a temporary farewell hand shake.
Serena asks "So your going to Mallow?"
Mallow nods and replies "That's right, I'm going to visit my family and help around the restaurant. I'm also going to help Kiawe with his training from time to time."
Ash exclaims "I see, well I know that you'll both be great and I can't wait to see you guys at the Alola league."
Mallow smiles and remarks "Thank you for everything Ash and Serena, take care of this guy for us. He may be your boyfriend but he's our teacher and our friend."
Serena nods and replies "Of course I will, I won't let him forget about his training either."
Mallow hugs both Ash and Serena before her and Kiawe both hop on the ferry back to Akala island. Ash and Serena watch the two leave and begin to walk back to the professors house. As they walk they run into Lillie who runs up to them with a pleased face.
Ash smiles and remarks "Hi Lillie what's up, you look like you want to tell us something."
Lillie smiles and replies "Well I actually do, I've been talking to mother about Guzma, team skull and the new boss. We've got some new information and leads but we've got nothing concrete yet."
Ash nods and exclaims "I see, well it's good to know that the investigation is under way."
Lillie nods and nervously stares "That's what I wanted to talk to you both about actually."
Serena smiles reassuringly and questions "What about it Lillie."
She takes a deep sigh before she explains "Well, mother has asked me to help her and the Aether paradise with its investigation and I've accepted."
Ash smiles and exclaims "Really that's awesome."
Serena nods and adds "Yeah that's great news."
Lillie raises her eyebrow and questions "Really, I thought you may not like the idea because I won't get to see you both for the month."
Ash looks at the young girl and replies "If it's something you want to do then of course I want you to do , it even if it means we're apart for a bit. We're all still friends."
Serena adds "That's right, if a friend needs to leave to help achieve their goals then we completly understand."
Lillie smiles at the couple exclaims "Thanks guys your the best, truth is just like my mother I love to help people and pokemon so working at the Aether foundation will help me achieve that."
Serena gives the young girl a big sisterly smile and replies "I'm sure it will Lillie and we'll both be rooting for you."
Lille nods and remarks "Thank you both, I'm glad I met you both. Although this doesn't change the fact that I'm still going to be at the Alola league. I'll be supporting both you, and Gladion Ash."
Ash smiles and exclaims "Thanks Lillie, but make sure if we do face off to support your brother okay. Family comes first okay."
Lillie shakes her head and argues "I'll be cheering for you both. Your family too Ash, your like having a second big brother and Serena, I may not have known you that long but your always so kind and sweet. The way you protected me from team skull made me realise something. Your the big sister I always wanted."
Ash smiles and replies "Thank you Lillie, the feeling is mutual."
Serena feels herself being a little emotional at Lillie's words. She always wants to inspire and have people look up to her and that's what she's doing. The comment about being a big sister is what gets to her most. She always wanted a little sibling growing up as an only child. She'd beg her mom and she'd always tell her it's not possible. She used to think she was being mean back then but now she's older she understands the situation a lot clearer. Of course she was a big sister to Bonnie in Kalos but to hear someone actually say it is heart warming.
Serena smiles and hugs the young girl and exclaims You don't know how much that means to me, I'm glad I can be someone you look up to."
Lillie hugs her back and replies "Of course you are Serena. We all look up to you and Ash They break the hug before Ash hugs Lillie as well. The young girl says her final goodbye before she heads off to aether foundation.
Ash and Serena stand and look at the sky. They think about all the great friends and family they have met on their journey thus far.
Ash turns towards his girlfriend and remarks "Well looks like it's just us now."
Serena smiles and leans her head on Ash's shoulder. She states "It'll be us two, together for ever right. Just like you promised me back in Kalos."
Ash smiles and nervously explains "Well I didn't think you meant like that back then, guess I just couldn't say no to you."
Serena giggles and replies "No and neither can I."
The two stand looking at the Alolan moon in peaceful silence. After a few seconds Ash questions "It's getting late, What do you want to do now babe?"
Serena wraps her arms around Ash in a side hug and responds "I don't care as long as I'm with you."
Ash smiles and suggests "Why don't we go back to the professors house and get out of these prom outfits, then we can put on some Tv and you can cuddle me all you want."
Serena pecks Ash's cheek and whispers "I like that idea."
Ash grins and lifts Serena up bridal style. She initially gaps in shock and feels scared that Ash's going to drop her.
However after a few seconds she sinks into his arms feeling secure. She internally fan girls as the prom queen gets carried home by her prom king. She feels so loved right now and she couldn't feel any happier than she is when she with her Ash.

Well that's it for Prom.
Honestly enjoyed writing that but it was longer than expected.
That's why I didn't go into too much detail during the early rounds of the tournament.
Hope you understand that.
Anyway I tried to mix this chapter up with suspense action and of course amour.
I think it was pretty original and not your typical prom that everyone else does.
But then again it might also suck.
Only time will tell.

Next chapter will be the opening ceremony for the Alola league.
