It had been two, maybe even three, years since you last saw Jenna. Though you've grown, you never seemed to fully move on from it.
You felt so betrayed, and so hurt. You couldn't believe that Jenna, someone that you loved, who loved you, who always seemed to care about you and know how to help you, could just up and leave.
You hadn't heard from her, nor did you ever try to contact her. She didn't deserve to get the satisfaction of you still wanting her attention even after what she did.
You resented her, and you hated her. Well, you hated the fact that she left you, that after all those months of finally letting your guard down, she hurt you. She broke the promise.
You placed the light blue vape between your lips. You shut your eyes as you inhaled the contents, holding it in, before blowing it out. You felt your mind start to relax, easing you out of the thoughts of your ex.
Your friends were laughing together, talking about something, while you just vaped to the side. It was a habit you grew, you knew it wasn't a good idea, but it was the best thing since losing Jenna.
"Hey, I'm gonna go for a walk around." You commented, walking away from the group. Music played quietly through your airpods as you took hits while walking down the streets. The taste of blue raspberry tingled throughout your mouth while you seemed to get dizzier. You leaned against the wall, just relaxing yourself.
"Y/n?" You felt your heart drop. You turned to face the voice, the vape lowering from your mouth.
"Jenna?" The smoke trickled out of your mouth as you spoke. You blinked, trying to make sure you were imagining. "Where the fuck have you been?" The anger from all these years came back.
"I-" She stopped herself, she didn't expect you to get angry right away. "I'm sorry."
You scoffed as you rolled to the side. You stood up straight after taking another hit. "Is that really all that you have to say? That you're sorry? Do you even know what you're sorry about?"
"You're vaping? Y/n, you said you would never do that." She tried to avoid the question as much as possible, which kept on pissing you off.
"Oh shut up, you don't get to be mad at me for that." You pointed at her, your heart was pumping. "I started to vape because of you. I fucking hate you."
"I- I can explain." She stammered out, raising her hands in her defense.
You went quiet, wanting her to continue. She didn't say anything. "You don't- Why?" Your voice was getting louder. "Why the fuck would you leave me? You ruined me, Jenna, you lied to me."
"Y/n, listen-"
"Was there someone else? Did you cheat on me? Come on, Jenna! Please explain to me why you had to fucking betray me and my trust." You yelled, catching the attention of people on the streets.
"You're causing a scene." Her voice was low as she looked around at the curious faces.
"I don't fucking care." You hissed. You took in a very long hit of your vape. "Just fucking say it, then we won't ever have to speak again. We won't ever see each other."
"Y/n, I don't have an answer for you."
"You're fucking pathetic." You spat, storming away from Jenna, finally letting out the hot tears that were built.
