Okay this boy loves affection.
Since he didn't got it from Belos or anyone else, he is starving for some from you.
At first he was really shy with any kind of affection just like you which caused you both to look like awkward teenagers in love who didn't knew what to do.
As time progressed he got more bold and started holding your hand every chance he could.
When you were out and when you were in his room, he would always hold your hand.
Then he finally started being more comfortable to initiate hugs and he was hooked.
He fell in love with hugging you and just couldn't get enough.
