Izumi, Indra and Ashura were waiting for Shisui at their usual spot, Ashura and Indra was sitting on a tree branch and Izumi was sitting on a street bench.
"hey guys ", Shisui appeared next to Izumi, the kids just gave him a plain face and didn't answer him, "are you guys upset cuz you have to pay for your foods? ".
"our foods... we also paid for yours sensei ", Izumi grunt out.
"point of correction Izumi, it was I and Ashura that paid for everything ", Indra corrected her.
"she loves stealing credit for what she didn't do ", *hmm* Ashura lean on the tree.
"you guys can keep blubbering all you want it not like I care ", Izumi smirk, "sensei... some genin from the land of lightning came in for some chuunin exam, did you know anything about it? ".
"yes I know... they aren't the only outsiders here, lots of candidates are here for the exam even Kakashi Kurenai and Asuma recommended their students to enter the exam ", Shisui informed.
"wait a minute... you mean Naruto Sakura Ino Kiba Choji and the others are in for the exam? ", Ashura ask.
"you can say that ", Shisui gave them a close eyes smile.
"what about us sensei don't you think we are ready for the exam? ", Izumi ask with a wide open arms.
"ya aren't we ready? ", Ashura repeated her question.
"look you guys need more time, you can apply next year ".
*ugh* Ashura and Izumi gasp at that.
*hm* "( he really wants for us to wait till next year... how lame )".
"the chuunin exam isn't some kind of easy stuffs, it could cost you your life ", the kids didn't buy any of it and Shisui knew that, "or you can apply now, you don't wanna waste these tickets ", Shisui show them three tickets.
"are does our tickets for the chuunin? ", Izumi ask in amazement.
"sure ", Shisui nod, it didn't take Ashura a second to jump down from the tree and collect his ticket.
"wow... I feel like kissing you sensei but you are a guy ", Ashura was excited, Indra also leap down and collected his.
"( the chuunin exam... I wonder how tough it will be )", Indra smirked at himself.
"( now I will show all boys not to look down on girls like some weakling )", Izumi smiled.
"( the chuunin exam... I can't wait to investigate more on that guy... It was killer Bee I remembered his dumb name... that guy creep me out )", Ashura was staring at his ticket.
"Izumi I won't force you to do this you can quit if you want to ", Shisui said in concern.
"quit?, seriously... it seemed like you don't know me that well... I won't quit and let Ashura or Indra become a chuunin, I don't care how dangerous it is I will not quit ".
"that's the spirit Izumi ", Ashura cheers her.
"( lame )", *hmm*
"( I knew she would say something like that... stubborn girl )", Shisui thought to himself, "in seven days time I want you guys to go to room 301 in the academy by three ", Shisui informed.
"alright ".
"sure ".
"that won't be a problem ".
They all gave their answers, "( look at them... excited... excited to challenge against other tough genin )".

Indra was inside his apartment polishing his black katana, a note float through his window and into his room *ugh * he discard what he was doing and walk over to the note, he picked it up and read in his head.
"( meet me at the training ground... signed Ashura Uzumaki )", Indra then pocket the sheet of paper, "what do you want lame squirrel ".

Indra got to the training ground but Ashura wasn't in sight, "now I have to wait for that lame fool ", *hmm* Ashura scoffed in annoyance.
"hey you... with the katana in his back ".
Indra turn to the direction of the voice and saw a ninja who was wearing an hat.
"who are you and what do you want ", Indra ask while glaring at the ninja from head to toe.
"I need this spot to myself and I don't want anyone disturbing me ".
"what do you mean... this is my training ground and you are in my village so don't tell me what to do ".
*arrr* "this is exactly what this red haired fool said that made me killed him ", the ninja point and Indra look at the place he was pointing.
*ugh * Ashura was laying dead next to a tree.
"you see... if you don't wanna end up like him then run away now or you will be next ", *haha haha* the ninja laugh evilly.
"I didn't know someone dumber than Ashura exist in this world ", Indra shook his head in disappointment.
*ugh* "what are you talking about? ", the ninja growl.
"this note was thrown into my room and it said right here that my team mate wants to meet ", Indra showed him the paper, "I can tell you wrote this cuz there's no way Haru will write me a note, not like he has the brain to do so though ".
*heh heh heh * "your team mate must be so dumb ", the ninja laugh.
"sure he is... but he's not as dumb as you ", Indra insulted.
"what... you little... ", the ninja pulled out one of his weapon that looks like an umbrella.
"don't even think about doing so cuz it won't hit me ", Indra warned.
"why... are you fast enough to dodge it? ".
"no... it won't hit me cuz you're just an illusion ", Indra smirked.
"don't be so sure kid ", the ninja crouched a little ready to strike.
"go ahead... I won't dodge ".
"if you say so ", *heh heh* the ninja threw his weapon and it sailed right through Indra.
"such cheap gen-jutsu ", Indra's smirk widened.

Ashura was walking down konoha with his hands in his hoodie pocket, he had a pout face and the villagers were glaring at him.
"brat ", a woman hiss while glaring at Ashura, she was holding a little white haired boy around the age of seven.
*hmm* Ashura scoffed and continue walking like he didn't hear the woman.
"hey... my son... ".
"mummy... ".
*ugh * Ashura turn around and a ninja was running with the seven years old boy in his arms.
"help... somebody help... he has my son ", the woman point, she was now crying, without thinking twice Ashura ran after the ninja.
The ninja was wearing an hat just like the one that cast a gen-jutsu on Indra, he was leaping through rooftops and Ashura was keeping track of him.
*heh heh * "you may be quick on your feet but there's no way you're going to catch up with me ", the ninja increased his speed.
"don't even think about it ", Ashura teleport in front of him and kicked him back, "give him back ? ".
"stay back or the brat get hurt ", the ninja threatened.
"don't hurt the kid ", Ashura plead.
"I want my mummy... I don't want to die ", the boy cried in fear.
"shut up you brat ", the ninja then look at Ashura, "do what ever I say or this kid gets it ", the ninja pressed a kunai on the neck of the boy.
"don't hurt him I will do whatever you want just don't hurt him ", Ashura was keeping his distance.
"I want the forbidden scroll of sealing, go get it for me ", he ordered.
"seriously?... that same thing again... aren't you guys tired of playing tag? ".
"it's like you want this kid to lost his life ", the ninja threatened.
"am over here ", the kid pick out from behind Ashura.
"what... if that's you then what am I holding ", the ninja look at the kid he was holding.
"you should have known ", *poof* the kid he was holding transformed into Ashura and Ashura kick the ninja off the roof, they rushed over to look at him but he was gone, "huh where did he go ", Ashura looking around dramatically.
Ashura returned the little boy to his mother.
"mummy... ", he rush over to hug his mom.
"oh Haru ", she hug him back.
"mummy he was the one that saved me from that ninja ", the boy who was verified as Haru point at Ashura.
"thank you very much for rescuing my son, I'm for ever grateful ", she bow to show Ashura that she meant what she said.
"no need to do that ma'am, I was only doing what was right ", Ashura said and left.
"good bye, see next time ", little Haru wave at Ashura and Ashura wave back.

Indra and Izumi were sitting on the street bench under a tree, it was the spot where their team always meet up.
"this isn't you Indra... you are not the kind of guy that choke whenever he wants to say something ", Izumi said quietly.
"yeah you're right... but what I want to tell you is not just any normal stuff ", Indra was staring at the ground.
"c'mon Indra you can say whatever you want to say... I won't criticize you OK... just speak your mind ", Izumi gave him a reassuring smile.
"Izumi you may think I'm crazy or something but it doesn't matter... I just want you to know that... I want you to know how... how I feel... I like you alot Izumi, words won't be able to express the feeling I have for you ", Indra slowly looked at her and she was taken aback by what the snake boy said.
"I-Indra ", she whispered his name.
"it's fine if you don't feel the same way for me... I will give you some time ", Indra look back at the ground.
"( Indra )", Izumi closed her eyes and ball her fist on her thigh.
*ugh * Indra look at the direction of Izumi and a fist made contact with his face, he sailed off the bench and hit the ground, "ouch, why would you punch me? ", Indra ask in confusion.
"stop the silly stupid act... you did great in transforming into Indra... but there's no way you're going to be able to impersonate Indra ".
"what do you mean Izumi... I'm Indra ", Indra argued.
"shut it up... Indra do not share his feelings with anyone... even if it's eating him to death he won't tell you... and Indra don't get shy ", Izumi said with a small smile.
"oh my bad... you are good girl I can give you that ", *poof* Indra transformed into a ninja that wore an hat just like the one that Ashura was chasing.
"I accept that... but there's something I still wants to say... no one messes with my feelings and get away free ", Izumi balled her fist.

It was now night fall and Kakashi was sitting on a rooftop, a ninja appeared behind him and it was the ninja that attack the genins.
"how did it go ", Kakashi ask without looking at him.
"they did great, all twelve genin pass the test ", *poof* the ninja transformed into Iruka, "you were right Kakashi, they have all improved ".
"but the chuunin can still break them down ".
