I thought I'd take a break from working on the requests, and do a little story of my own😅

No one's POV
"WOOO ROAD TRIP!!"
It was a warm, sunny day in July, and the club was about to leave for a road trip. They were headed to the aquarium, and had already put their bags in the car
"Who's sitting where?" Hailey asked "I know Sean's driving, but what about the rest of us?"
"I wanna sit next to Luke." Zander said. Luke smiled and hugged Zander
"Can I sit in the back?!" Milly smiled, and Sean nodded in response
Hailey and Jake looked at each other
"I don't mind where I sit" Hailey shrugged
"Yeah, same" Jake agreed
Shortly after, it was decided. Sean and Hailey would be up front with Sean driving, Zander and Luke would be in the middle seats, and Jake and Milly would be in the back
"Everyone ready?" Sean asked as everyone buckled themselves in
"Yeah!!" everyone else responded excitedly
"Alright, then let's hit the road!"

The car was driving towards the highway, which was pretty busy. Everyone looked out the windows at the business around them
"Think this'll last long?" Hailey asked
"Hopefully not" Sean said
A few more minutes went by, with the car slowly moving
"I'm boooored..." Zander whined after a bit
"Let's play punch buggy!" Milly smiled
"What's punch buggy?" Zander said. Milly didn't answer, and just proceeded to look around frantically at the unmoving car's surroundings. After a few seconds, Milly spotted the perfect cat for her to proceed with her next action
Milly quickly leaned over in her seat, and punched Jake in the arm
"Ow...!!" Jake yelled
"PUNCH BUGGY, NO PUNCH-BACKS!!!" Milly smiled
"What was that for?" Zander asked
"It's a game!" Milly smiled. She pointed out the window at the car that caught her attention before
"See that car? If you see that car type, you gotta punch someone, and yell PUNCH BUGGY, NO PUNCH-BACKS!"
"That's dumb.." Zander sighed. He reached into his bag that was next to him, and pulled out a book
"Why'd you bring a book?" Hailey asked, turning around in her seat "Won't that make you sick..?"
"I'll be fine." Zander said "The car's not even moving much right now anyway. I'll stop when it starts up again"
Hailey shrugged, then turned back in her seat

After a bit, the car started moving and Zander put his book back in his bag
"Looks like it's getting close to lunch.." Sean said, looking at the time on the car's radio "You guys want something to eat?"
"Yeah!!" Milly smiled
"Alright, where do you guys wanna go?"
"McDonald's!!" Milly and Jake said at the same time
"I'm good with whatever." Zander shrugged. Hailey and Luke nodded in agreement
"Alright, McDonald's it is then!" Sean smiled, as he neared in exit that was close to McDonald's
The car pulled into the parking lot, and Sean found a spot fairly close to the doors. Everyone got out of the car, and headed inside. They all went to the bathroom quickly once inside, then got in line once they were out
"Let's go find a table, Zander!" Luke smiled as he held Zander's hand. Zander nodded and went to the tables with Luke. Hailey decided to follow them. The group had already decided what they each wanted while waiting in line, so it was fine for a few of them to leave. Hailey, Luke, and Zander ended up finding a some free stools at a large table, just enough for each of them
"What can I get you?" the worker asked Sean once him, Jake and Milly got up to the counter
"Uh...one double cheeseburger, one McChicken burger, two big macs, one crispy chicken wrap with lettuce and ranch, and one crispy chicken wrap with just chicken and cheese please! Plus six fountain drinks!"
The cashier in front of Sean, plus the two on either side of her, all just stared in shock at Sean
"Um...." she began to say
"We got three more over there!" Sean smiled nervously, directing back to the table Zander, Luke and Hailey were at, laughing and talking with each other
"....oh....kay...?" the cashier said "anything else...?"
Sean went to speak, then Milly turned around and shouted to their other friends;
"YO!!! GUYS!!! YOU WANT ANYTHING ELSE OTHER THAN THE LUNCH STUFF??"
Hailey, Luke, and Zander looked over
"Uh...I-I'm good...!" Luke called back
"Yeah, me too!" Hailey called. Zander nodded in agreement
Milly gave a thumbs up, nodding in understanding, then turned back to Jake and Sean
"I'm good too, guys" she said. Jake and Sean were too
"That's everything!" Sean said
"Alright.." the cashier said, still looking quiet shocked. Once the food had been prepaid for, the cashier handed Sean the receipt, and he headed to the drink fountain with Jake and Milly. Each of them took their own cups, lids, and straws, then got their drinks. Milly got an orange drink, Jake got Cola, and Sean got iced tea. They then headed to the table so the other three could get their drinks. Luke got water, Hailey got Pepsi, and Zander got Sprite

After everyone had finished at McDonald's, they headed back out to the car, and they were almost ready to get back on the road
"Hey, can we put on some tunes?" Milly asked
"Ooh, yeah!" Luke smiled
"Sure!" Sean smiled. He already had his phone hooked up to the cars sound system. "What song do you guys want?"
No one was really sure on what they wanted to play. So eventually, they just settled to turn on a playlist on shuffle. The first song that came on was Super Bass by Nicki Minaj
Sean and Jake's eyes went a bit wide, but they just decided to leave it. With that, the car pulled out of the parking lot, and the group got back on the road

The car ride seemed to be going well for a bit. Although there were a lot of red lights, which was making the car continuously stopping and going
"God, how do we keep hitting all the red lights?!" Sean sighed as he stopped at a red light
"How long have we been on the road for?" Milly asked
"About an hour, I think" Hailey shrugged
The car jerked forward as it began to move again. As it started to move, Zander suddenly started to feel sick. His stomach was hurting horribly. He looked down, and put a hand over his stomach, then looked to his side at Luke, who was gazing out the window
"Luke....?"
Luke looked at Zander
"What's up?" he asked
"I-I don't feel good..."
Luke could instantly tell Zander was feeling a bit sick. Luke quickly reached into Zander's bag, and pulled out a water bottle
"You want a drink..?" he asked. Zander, who was leaning back in his seat, turned to Luke. He nodded a bit, then took it and just kinda stared at it
"Want me to open it...?" Luke asked. Zander nodded again, handing the bottle back to Luke. Luke quickly opened the water bottle, then handed it to Zander. Zander took a few sips of the water before handing it back to Luke
"Do you think you're gonna be sick...?" Luke asked as he put the cap on the bottle again. Zander shook his head a bit in response. However a few seconds after, he nodded a bit
"Uh....Sean...!!!" Luke said in a panic
"What?" Sean responded, keeping his eyes on the road
"I-I think Zander's gonna be sick...!!!"
Sean's eyes went a bit wide after hearing that. Milly, Jake, and Hailey all quickly turned to look in the back seat. Zander now had both his arms over his stomach, and was groaning in pain
"Uh....uhh...."
Sean was at a loss for what to say while he was looking around frantically while driving, trying to find somewhere to pull over
"Oh!! Oh!! Gas station!!" Jake said suddenly, pointing forward. Sure enough, the car was nearing a gas station. Sean smiled a bit as he quickly turned, and pulled into the gas station parking lot
The moment the car was parked at a gas pump, Zander quickly pulled the door open, and ran inside the store, one hand over his stomach and the other over his mouth. Luke and Hailey also climbed out, and ran after him
"I'm gonna refill the tank" Sean said to Milly and Jake, before getting out of the car

Inside the gas station, Zander quickly ran to the back where the bathrooms were. He ran in and slammed the door shut, then Luke ran in after him. Hailey stopped at the door, and sighed. Then she looked up, and ended up making eye contact with the cashier
"Miss, didn't you read the sign." he said to Hailey, using a sharpie to point to a sign. On the sign, were the words "BATHROOMS = PAYING CUSTOMERS ONLY" written in big, bold letters
"Um...alright..."
Hailey looked around the store for a minute or two. Then she went to the candy isle, grabbed some fruit flavored mentos candies, then went to the counter and placed them down. Thankfully she had her bag, and her wallet with her. She took some change from her wallet, and placed it on the counter
"That'll work for you, but not for the two in the bathroom." the worker said, taking the mentos
Hailey sighed, clearly annoyed. She looked towards the bathroom door, and could hear Zander throwing up inside
"Look, sir..." she said, looking back at the cashier "I don't think my brother, who is currently vomiting, is gonna wanna buy anything."
"It's store policy." the worker said
Hailey groaned, then went over to the bathroom. She stood next to the door, and knocked on it lightly
"Luke..? You two okay in there..?" she asked
"Uh...I'm not sure...!" Luke replied from in the bathroom
"Is he okay in there..?"
"...I think he's getting there...?"

Outside, Sean was finishing refilling the gas tank of the car. Milly and Jake were just sitting in the car in silence
"....oi. Jake." Milly spoke suddenly. Jake looked at her
"What?" Jake responded
"Wanna play a game?"
"Sure!" Jake smiled "What game?"
Milly thought for a minute, then got an idea
"I got it. Alphabet game. One of us names an instrument that starts with the letter A. Then the other names one that starts with the letter B, and we keep going!"
"Okay!" Jake smiled
Sean had gone inside to pay for the gas, so Milly and Jake decided to start together
"You wanna go first?" Milly asked
"Okay! Um..."
Jake thought for a minute
"...I...don't know an instrument that starts with A..."
"Okay, um...how about this?" Milly said "We make it more than just instruments. Instead it's just like...music terms in general."
"Okay! Uh....oh! Alto!"
"Hmm...bass guitar!"
"Cymbals!"
"Drums!"
At that point, Sean was back in the car
"Whaddya we up to in here?" he asked.
"Playing the alphabet game!" Milly responded "but with music terms! How are the others doing in there?"
"Well, they think Zander is getting a bit better...Hailey's kinda...having issues with the cashier...but she's sorting them out! No need to cause a fuss!"
"What kind of issues?" Milly asked "Do I need to slap someone's common sense correct again?"
"No, Milly, don't worry..." Sean said. "Now, you two mind if I join in on your game?"
"Of course you can join!" Jake smiled. Milly agreed, and the three of them went on with the game

Back in the store, Hailey was super frustrated. The cashier just would not let up
Finally, she heard the click of the bathroom door open. She looked toward the bathroom, and saw Luke step out. Behind him was Zander, who looked a bit tired. Hailey walked over to them
"You okay..?" she asked. Zander held onto Luke's arm
"I think so..." he said "S-Sorry..."
"Don't worry about it..." Hailey said. Luke kissed Zander's cheek
"Alright, let's go, shall we...?" Luke said
"Well, not quite yet..." Hailey said
"What do you mean...?" Zander asked
"The cashier won't let us leave. Only paying customers can buy use the bathrooms."
"O-Oh crap, I didn't know that..." Luke said
"Neither did I." Hailey said "And he won't let up."
"It's alright, Luke...I don't mind getting something..." Zander said. Suddenly he realized something
"Ugghh..." he groaned
"What's wrong, hun...?" Luke asked "You need to throw up again...?"
"No...I left my wallet in the car..." Zander said
Thankfully Luke ended up bringing his bag in too
"I can buy both of us something!" he smiled
"You sure that's okay, Luke...?" Zander asked
Luke nodded
"I insist...and don't worry about paying me back..." he smiled. Zander smiled a bit back, then went to look for something to buy with Luke
Luke picked out a bag of M&M's. Zander was having trouble deciding what to get. After a minute or two, he left the candy isle and went to a different one
"Whatcha looking for, Zan...?" Luke asked as he followed him. Zander went to the isle with all the medicines and stuff. After a bit of looking, he grabbed a box that contained pills to help with motion sickness
"Can I get these..?" he asked, looking at Luke
"Yeah, sure.." Luke smiled a bit. Him and Zander went up to the counter, and placed the medicine and candy on the counter
"Alright. That'll be...$9.53"
Luke nodded, then reached into his bag and took his wallet out. He took out a ten dollar bill, and handed it to the cashier. The cashier gave Luke back the change he needed
"You need a bag for those?" he asked
"Oh, no thank you, sir!" Luke smiled a bit. He put the M&M's in his backpack, then handed the medicine to Zander
"Alright, baby, let's g-"
"Wait just a second." the cashier said. Luke and Zander looked back at the cashier
"Um...is there a problem sir...?" Luke asked
"Yeah, there is." the cashier said. He pointed to Zander, and said "he still needs to buy something."
Hailey, who had gone to the bathroom, was now out and standing with Luke and Zander. Luke looked at the sign, then back at the cashier
"Why? Cause he used the bathroom?" Luke asked. The cashier nodded
"Sir, please don't give us a hard time..." Luke said
"Listen, kid." the cashier said "Either he buys something so he can leave, or I call the store manager and the cops on all three of you."
"What did I even do?!" Hailey said "I followed your stupid rules!"
Zander looked down upset. Luke put his arm around him
"I'll handle this, Hailey." he said. He then gave the cashier a cold stare
"Sir. We're here because my boyfriend was carsick, and he didn't have time to grab his wallet before coming in here. Not only that, but I don't think he's in the mood right now to buy something. Him being carsick isn't something he can control. And in my personal opinion, I think I should be allowed to buy something for my boyfriend, and have it count for that stupid rule. Our other three friends have been waiting out in a car in the summer heat for the past 30 minutes, and we don't want to keep them waiting any longer. So, are you going to stop harassing me, my boyfriend, and my boyfriend's sister, over some stupid rule? Or are we gonna keep chit chatting like this is your mommy's book club?"
The cashier stared in shock at Luke, who continued to give him the angry stare. Hailey and Zander's eyes were wide with shock
The cashier looked slightly nervous. Aswell as embarrassed, having just been told off by a sixteen year old
"J-Just....take your crap, and get out of here." the cashier said, putting the money in the cash register
"Thank you!" Luke smiled sweetly. With that, he left with Zander and Hailey. The three of them headed back to the car, and climbed in
"Everything okay..?" Jake asked
"Yeah, I'm okay...sorry, everyone..." Zander said
"Hey man, it's fine!" Sean said "we have plenty of time! Just so long as everyone's okay!"
Luke opened the bag, and pulled out the medicine box. Once he had a pill out,.he handed it to Zander who quickly took it with water
"Anyone want a Mentos candy?" Hailey asked as she took her purchase out of her bag
"Ooh, yes please!" Milly smiled
"Lemon, orange, or strawberry?"
"Lemon!"
Hailey passed Milly a candy once she had a yellow one, then took one out for herself
"That stupid cashier in there wouldn't let us leave without buying stuff..." Zander sighed as he layed his head back in his seat, as the car began to leave the gas station. Luke held his hand
"I gave him a light warning.." Luke said. Zander smirked a bit at him
And so the group continued on their way to their destination
