It was Halloween evening, and everyone had met up at Hailey and Zander's place to hang out. Shannon and Michael had taken Bethany out trick or treating, so it was just the teens home alone. The whole music club, plus Daisy and Elliot, decided to go for a whole group costume this year and dressed up as characters from the series Stranger Things. Hailey was Eleven, Jake was Mike, Zander was Will, Luke was Dustin, Milly was Max, Elliot was Lucas, Daisy was Chrissy, and Sean was Eddie

"Alright, let's get these bad boys sliced open!" Milly smiled as she stared at the pumpkins lined up on the table in two rows of four. Everyone had aprons on to make sure they wouldn't get anything on their costumes. As most o the group prepared to carve their pumpkins in the kitchen, Hailey and Milly were in the living room deciding on what movie to put on for background music. It would be pretty easy to hear it since their kitchen was connected right to their living room

"What do you guys think?" Hailey called from the living room "What's tonight's movie choice?"

"Nothing too scary." Zander said. Usually something-he almost always said when picking movies. "Boo, you're no fun Zander!" Milly whined. "Well, sorry, but I don't wanna have nightmares." Zander added on

"I say we just pick any movie, super scary or not" Jake added onto the conversation. "We won't be paying much attention to it anyway since we'll be so focused on our pumpkins"

They eventually settled on a Netflix movie collection option of the four Hotel Transylvania movies. Hailey turned on the movie with the volume fairly high so everyone could hear it in the kitchen, then she and Milly headed back to he living room to their spots at the table. "Alright, let's get started!" Milly smiled excited

"What's everyone putting on their pumpkin?" Daisy asked as she began to cut around her pumpkin's stem. "I haven't decided yet" Luke said, and Jake had the same to say. "Honestly, I might just carve another pumpkin into this one" Sean smiled. "Mine's gonna be a surprise" Milly smiled evilly.

"Milly, I swear to god, if you do something with your pumpkin to scare me with," Zander said "I will throw pumpkin guts at you." Milly stuck her tongue out at Zander, knowing he was joking. He just did the same back to her. "What do we do with the seeds when we're done?" Elliot asked as he put his pumpkin and knife down to talk to Hailey. Hailey looked up from her pumpkin for a split second. "Well, I'm not too sure" she said "I'd say we keep em and roast them or something, but everyone in this household has different opinions on roasted pumpkin seeds. My dad loves em, and my mom and I don't mind em too much. Zander and Bethany, being the picky eaters the are though, absolutely despise them."

"Ooh, give some to me!" Mill smiled. "I can use em like a pea shooter and hit Zoey with them!"

Zander smirked at the thought of that. "Milly, I am not giving you a way to get into trouble." Hailey smiled as she rolled her eyes. "Aw, and I was gonna give her a dollar if she did it" Zander said. Jake laughed

"I hope I don't get anything in my hair or on my costume.." Daisy said as she finished cutting her pumpkin open. "I'm sure there's a way to get it out pretty good if you do happen to get anything on yourself" Sean said

Luke looked over at Zander once his own was done. "You need help, hun?" he asked. He was trying to not smile a bit as Zander was visibly struggling. "No, I got it, don't worry" Zander said.
