Lo'ak's words soothed Y/n. It was kind of a burden off her, knowing that he cared for her and was there for her, knowing that she wasn't alone.
She pulled him out of the crouch he was sitting in, so he was more or less on a level with her again.
Y/n pulled him into a hug, which he immediately returned.
He put his arms around her waist, pulling her even closer to him. He enjoyed her warmth, her lovely body against his, the way her skin would feel.
Lo'ak tilted his head down to her, where he rested it in the space between her shoulder and her neck.
Y/n relax at his touch, and let her hand travel to the back of his head where she curled her fingers in his braids.
Lo'ak thought for a moment, but then complied the urge and placed a gentle kiss on her neck.
She was once again surprised at the affection Lo'ak was giving her, but this time it didn't bother her, Y/n even seemed to like it a little.
After a few moments, Lo'ak relived himself and broke free from the hug.
Y/n immediately felt the emptiness penetrate her body again, as he distanced himself from her.
"Do you wanna stay in here?" He asked her quietly.
Lo'ak couldn't imagine what she was going through, let alone what he could do to make her feel better.
"No, I'm okay." Y/n replied.
She was thankful for everything Lo'ak did, but the thought of opening up to someone, more than than she already did, made her cringe.
She didn't like seeing her loved ones suffer because of a thing that they shouldn't deal with.
Lo'ak gave her a nod, then walked towards the exit of the marui, waiting for her to join his side.

The two of em walked on, on a big crowd wildly discussing, and even more shouting from inside the huge group of Metkayina.
Y/n tried to watch over the heads of the others, but even if she stood on tiptoe she couldn't see anything of what was happening.
Lo'ak watched as his girlfriend struggled to push herself through the crowd.
She always politely tapped the Na'vi in front of her on the shoulder to apologize and ask if they could let her through, but she was always either waved off, shaken off or ignored.
But after a while he pulled Y/n behind him, took her by the hand, and forcibly pushed his way through the crowd, her still dragging behind him.
Shortly after Lo'ak had led the two of them into the middle of the circle, where the loud shouting voice from before, turned out to be Y'n's brothers, Ao'nung and Kanan's.
Her big brother yelled various accusations, insults as well as threats at the other man.
He kept trying to attack Kanan, and while Ronal made no move to stop her son, Tonowari kept admonishing him, and Rotxo and a few other Metkayina kept pulling him back.
Kanan wanted to raise his voice again, but his gaze fell on Y/n.
Before, his facial expression was rather angry and sometimes slight nervousness crossed his expression, but now his usual devilish, almost psychopathic smile formed on his lips.
Ao'nung, like the rest of her family, cast their gaze in the direction of Y/n and Lo'ak.
A bit distant from them were the Sullly's.
Jake and Neytiri had been watching the happening for a while but hadn't quiet understood till now.
The other clan's Olo'eyktan, from which Kanan came, just looked around in confusion.
"What is going on? I don't understand?" The Olo'eyktan, which name was 'Uvowem, said.
He was an older man, older than Tonowari and Jake. He had long wavy black hair, his traditional tattoos now lay in small folds. He wore pompous necklaces and a traditionally similar cloak' that resembled Tonowari's in some respects, but still was so different.
"He harassed Y/n!" Ao'nung screamed, and made another attempt to attack Kanan.
The crowd fell silent, most with now their heads down.
Neytiri's head, on the other hand, shot up, she looked Y/n, firstly shocked then angry.
Jake also made a rather bruised face.
Now all eyes were on Kanan.
He quickly realized that there was no way out. Everyone had now heard what he had done, he had been looking for a long time for a clan that didn't yet know the reason why he had to leave his old one.
His facade began to crumble.
"And I would do it again!!" Kanan shouted, "She made it so easy for me. Didn't even grant herself."
Y/n turned away from the man. She didn't want to put up with what had happens anymore, Kanan had embarrassed her enough.
"Oh, you motherfucker." Ao'nung spoke to himself.
He then broke away from the others, and soon his fist hit Kanan's face for the first time.
A few Metkayina gasped in shock while others didn't even dare to look up.
All that came from Tonowari was an annoyed grumble, he didn't want to solve it that way, but like his wife he made no attempt to stop his son .
He knew no matter how many times he would try to stop Ao'nung, he was stubborn and would keep trying to attack Kanan.
But when Kanan started to fight back, Ao'nung was at a disadvantage. And when he too got his first punch, Lo'ak wrestled with himself briefly, but then launched himself at Kanan as well.
He pulled Kanan away from Ao'nung and pushed him on the floor.
Together, the two boys started thrashing the on the ground laying man.
Neytiri and Jake, on the other hand, were less thrilled, at least until they looked over at Y/n's parents and saw that they looked more than relaxed. Jake looked at his wife helplessly, but she just shrugged.
Y/n looked at Lo'ak, although it gave her a kind of satisfaction that Kanan was being beaten up like that, she just wanted to get over it and not him getting hurt too.
She looked around and only met a upset Tsireya, her mother wearing a strange smile and her father also with a strange expression.
She ran toward the knot of the three boys that were still throwing fists.
"STOP IT!" She shouted, and pulled Lo'ak up from the ground.
Lo'ak looked at her in surprise, but as he realizing how upset she was, he just bowed his head and followed Y/n back through the crowd, which parted as they made their way through it.

The two walked the trampoline-like path through the Marui settlement, stopping at the Marui given to both of them when Y/n's nightmares started.
"I'm sorry, Y/n/n. I just couldn't help." Lo'ak pleadingly.
"You know I didn't wanted you to get involved with that." She spoke back, as she turned to him.
"I know, but he deserves it. More than that." He replied, and emphasized the 'he' with a disgusted face.
"Why?-" He started, but didn't got to finish his sentence.
"-Because I love you, I don't want you to get hurt."
