"Well, there's not much to talk about. Your three month evaluation seems spot on, Miss Moon."

I let out a long sigh of relief, "Thank you so much, CEO Min."

"You're still on about that. Didn't Jimin tell you that we like to keep it casual?" Yoongi sighed.

"You're my boss, sir," I said dumbfounded.

He chuckled, "The only one who gets a kick out of the formality is Jungkook. But I'm telling you, if you're with him in a non-work setting, he's a completely different person."

"I find that hard to believe."

"Most people do."

Yoongi turned to Donghwa, "You're doing an excellent job managing her. I presume that once the pictures drop announcing her place on this drama that more offers should start rolling in for her. Make sure to include her in the job search."

"Thank you. Truly. I never could've dreamed I would find myself signed, let alone to such a renowned and trustworthy company," I bowed deeply.

"Sure thing," Yoongi smiled sheepishly.

We were about to move to the next item of business when a rather boisterous knock landed up the door.

"I'm coming in hyung!"

"Oh, of course," Yoongi sighed.

And in pranced Jung Hoseok. He wore his usual cheery grin and was bursting with energy. It was clear this was a common occurrence between him and Yoongi based on how casual they were being. The thought of being friendly with my boss was mortifying but maybe that's because the only consistent boss I worked with was my restaurant manager who would personally push me off a bridge if she could.

His eyes fell onto me with a slight twinkle of surprise. His shock was quickly replaced by a sneaky grin, the cogs of his active mind turning in excitement.

"Oh, important meeting. Don't mind me, you all finish up," he said, taking a seat, trying to be inconspicuous.

"Yeah because that'll last long. But anyway, the only other thing I wanted to talk to you about was the direction of your career. Obviously we're a general entertainment company so we don't just manage one type of entertainer. Many of our signed stars dabble in multiple fields and for the most part we let them explore that to its full capacity. But it would be good to sort of understand your future plans because we want to create a healthy creative space for your next seven years. The ultimate goal is to get you to resign with us, of course, and part of that comes from our mutual effort toward a shared goal of your success..."

Yoongi continued to trail on and while I was listening, the actions of a certain someone who was unable to sit still caught my attention.

He met my gaze, offering a devious grin. Oh, he was planning something. He casually placed his foot under my chair, and since it was a rolling one, it was easy to move. Slowly, so as not to tip off my manager or the CEO, he began to bring me towards him.

I raised an eyebrow, challenging his public teasing. Once I was close enough, he reached out with his hand and pulled me right next to him.

"So what's your next move, hmm?" I questioned, causing him to choke.

"Ahem..."

Both of our gazes flashed upward to Yoongi and Donghwa who were looking at us with very authoritative glances. In the middle of a meeting was pretty unprofessional. But it was so easy to fall into his mischievous charm.

"Care to explain," Yoongi said.

"Well you see..." Hoseok trailed off.

"It's method acting, sir," I piped up, taking a page from Hoseok's book. There's no fault with it if we're on the same page.

He gave me a shocked look.

"We like to get into our characters. So whenever we're together, we try to do our daily things as if we were Iseul and Siwoo. It helps us make the actions more natural if we get into it in our daily life," I quickly explained.

"I guess that makes sense," Donghwa said.

But Yoongi had a rather knowing look on his face. I guess that's why he was the CEO of the company.

"If you say so," he shrugged. "Anyway, do you have any idea of your future direction?"

I glanced back at Hoseok who still had a deliciously impressed look across his face.

"Well, the thing is, I've been on a one-track mind since I was little. I've always wanted to become an actress. I can sing pretty well and I'm an elegant artist, but this is my true passion, and I don't think I can see another career for myself," I answered honestly.

He smiled, "I see. Well that's good. It's never a bad thing to be super sure of what you want to do. On that note, that's all from me. I just have a few things I want to talk to Donghwa about. Hoseok, did you actually need anything?"

"Huh? Oh no. I just wanted to say hi," Hoseok cheekily grinned.

"Fantastic. Well then why don't you go take your method acting somewhere else and run lines?" Yoongi sighed exasperatedly.

I bit back a laugh, quickly getting up and rushing out with Hoseok.

The second we were far enough away from his office, we broke out in a fit of giggles. A common occurrence with the two of us, but never unwelcome.

"So why did you really come?" I questioned, offering him a challenging gaze.

"Oh my, I fear you have perceived me wrong. Do you think I'm obsessed with you? Oh dear, what have I done," he dramatically preached. "I merely went to see my dear friend, colleague, and boss."

I stuck my tongue out at him, crossing my arms childishly and turning my head away.

"If I had known my beloved costar was there, I would've come much sooner," he added.

I rolled my eyes, "Oh I'm sure. Because you're obsessed with me." I grinned, bopping his nose as I gleamed in victory.

"So...method acting?" He mused, offering a teasing smirk.

I bit my lip, reaching up to whisper in his ears, "Only taking a page out of your book."

He shuddered a bit, a small red tint covering his cheeks. It was often, but I could get him just as flustered as he got me. He started the game, too bad I was learning how to play it.

"Hoseok! Oh Hoseok, I'm so glad I found you!" A voice yelled.

We both turned around to see a tall man barreling right towards us.

"Uh...Namjoon, are you okay?" Hoseok asked, taking account of the papers practically falling out of the poor man's arms.

Kim Namjoon, the other CEO of YN Entertainment and currently on track to release his first album after several mixtapes.

I almost dropped to the floor with my bow, "It's nice to meet you Mister CEO Kim, sir! My name is Moon Chaerin, an actress under the supervision of CEO Min. It's an honor to meet you. I am a big fan of your music work, and of CEO Min's too of course. I love everything and everyone that has ever come out of your company."

Hoseok awkwardly patted my back, "Alrighty there Gohan, why don't you stand up?"

Despite his panic, Namjoon offered me a kind smile and a slight chuckle, "I appreciate the enthusiasm and the manner. It's nice to meet you. I'm sorry we didn't get the chance to properly be introduced earlier. I always try to get to know everyone under the company, regardless of who is the primary boss. But I've been a bit busy these last couple of months with an album release."

"So...you came running here like a maniac because...?" Hoseok questioned.

"I need help organizing this venue, dude. Everything is a mess and the party is in a week!" He exclaimed. "Everyone is busy, I just need one other person."

Hoseok glanced back at me unsurely, "I would love to help, but we have to run lines. We're filming a pretty important scene later."

Namjoon looked back at me, offering an apologetic smile, "I'm really sorry, Miss Chaerin. I really need to borrow him. If anything happens, I'll talk to Jungkook and Jimin about the lack of practice, but I'm sure you will both be fine."

"Oh that's alright! He's all yours," I smiled.

Namjoon clasped his hands together, "Thank you so so much. In exchange, please come to my album release party next week! I promise I'll send all the details."

"Oh! Okay, thank you so much," I bowed again. No fainting, no fainting, no fainting.

"But I—" Hoseok started to protest, but I waved him off.

"Go help him. I'll see you later, okay?" I smiled.

He pursed his lips, a conflicted expression in his eyes. Finally, he sighed and nodded, giving me a halfhearted wave as he left to help Namjoon.
