Recap: Kairav and Manish get arrested. Abhira come back to Udaipur. Akshara requests him to hear her out before taking actions against her brother when he drops her at Goenka house before returning to Birla house. He learns that Kairav has been found and arrested.

Anand: Kairav Goenka has been arrested Abhimanyu!
Abhimanyu: WHA-
'DR. ABHIMANYU BIRLA!!!!!!'
The Birlas turn towards the door and gasp in surprise as an angry Akshara marched inside. Neil and Nishtha were seeing her for the first time after one year. Elder Birlas had not seen her awake either so all of them were surprised by her appearance. Her short hair and thin frame made her look so different from the Akshara in their memories but what stood out in that moment was her anger. No one had seen Akshara so angry. Ever!
Abhimanyu: Ak-
She cut him off as she sneered into his face.
Akshara: Kyu kiya aisa tumne? Maine kaha tha na saboot hai mere pass. Wait karo...kyu?
Abhimanyu: Aksha-
Akshara: aur badepapa!? Unki kya galti thi? Unhe kyu arrest krwaya?! Vo ek heart patient hai Abhimanyu!!!!
Abhimanyu: WHAT!?
He turned to his family. Shocked and surprised! He saw Manish as a father figure and deeply cared about him. It was not fair that Manish was arrested. He saw Goenkas rush in after Akshara. They were standing at the door- Arohi, Vansh, Akhilesh and Swarna. Suhasini wasn't there. Abhimanyu felt worried about her health. He looked down at his wife who was shaking like a leaf. Probably due to the cold and the anger she felt.
Abhimanyu: Maine nahi kiya hai ye Akshu.
Akshara: accha?! Toh police kyu-
Abhimanyu: Mai tumhare sath tha ab tk. Remember.
That shut her up. Abhimanyu then turned to his family and asked about Manish's arrest. There was short argument. Swarna pleaded for her family while Akhilesh got into a verbal spat with Mahima and Anand. Finally, Abhimanyu roared and shut everyone up. He announced that he will get Manish realeased right now and no one will stop him from doing so.
Akshara: aur kairav bhaiya?
Birlas get angry hearing his name.
Mahima: He will rot in jail like he deserves!!!
Akshara: No he does not! You...you have the proof na Abhi!!
Abhimanyu: (dumbfounded and confused) what proof!?
Akshara: jo subah tk meri pocket me tha!! Maine hospital call kiya tha and they said all my belongings at the time of change were given to you! Mere saman me nahi hai toh tumhare pass hi hai na...
Abhimanyu: Kya bole jaa rahi ho? Bs tumhara phone tha...aur..(pulls her bracelet out of his pocket) ye!
Akshara: pr vo pendrive!! Abhi jhoot kyu bol rahe ho? Mere bhaiya innocent hai. Proof tumhare hi pass hai. Meri pocket se liya na tumne...
Abhimanyu: Kuch bhi kahani mt banao Akshara!
Akshara: Mai kahani nahi bana rahi hoon!!!
Both were facing each other, both recalling the pain of their family. A short while ago, Akshara had rushed to her house, eager to meet her family after one year, especially her badepapa but was received by an unconscious Suhasini who had low BP and inconsolable Swarna. She felt shocked, hurt and angry when she got to know how police and media dragged Kairav and Manish.
Akshara: pr how did they know..
No one answered and Arohi swallowed her guilt, acting innocent like a pro. With angry tears running down her cheeks, she then checked her pockets only to find them empty. She then went through her small bag like crazy before calling the hospital that told her all her belongings were given to her husband. Shivering with emotions, she rushed towards Birla house to demand justice for her innocent family.
Abhimanyu couldn't make sense of things either. He wanted Manish out but getting Kairav out, that too without seeing proof of his innocence was out of question for him. While Abhira glared at each other through the screen of tears, the family argued- both sides throwing blames and insults.
Abhimanyu: BS!!!!!!
He kicked the side seat that flipped over. Everyone became quiet listening to sudden loud sound.
Abhimanyu: Badepapa jail jana deserve nahi krte, I know that! Pr tumhara bhai? Vo deserve krta hai!! kya kaha tumne? Bekasoor hai tumhara bhai? Bekasoor hai toh ek saal tak bhaga kyu? Kahan tha???!
Neil: bhai shant ho jao...
Shefali: Pr Abhimanyu ki baat sahi hai. Why was Kairav hiding? Hume laga tumhare sath tha pr tum toh Kunal Khera ke sath thi. Kairav kahan tha is ek saal me?
Parth was quietly wallowing in guilt, begging his mother to put an end to all this with his eyes. Mahima ignored his look and was seething in anger.
Parth: Maa, shaant! (walks closer and whispers) Kairav innocent hai mom, please j-
Mahima: Too late. I already destroyed the pendrive.
Parth: WHAT!
Everyone turned towards them.
Mahima: (whispers) shut up!...(to others) I agree Parth! Forgiving Kairav is out of question. He murdered Anisha!!
Akshara: No! he did not!! Bhai ne nahi kiya aisa kuch bhi!!!
Mahima: right! Toh vo bhaga kyu?
Akshara: apki wajah se!!
Anand: what the hell!
Parth: kya bole jaa rahi hai Akshara!
Akshara: sach bol rahi hoon...Abhi, jb tumhara operation ho raha tha na tb maine bhai ko dekha tha...vo...(cries) vo suicide krne jaa rahe they...mai unhe mana kr police station lekr gayi pr wahan Taiji pehle se thi...vo bhai ko mar-marne ki planning kr rahi thi...
Mahima: (pales but lies with confidence) What nonsense!! mai planning kr rahi thi? vo bhi kiske sath? police? Jhooth bolne ki bhi had hoti hai!!
Akshara: Nahi! mai sach bol rahi hoon... bhai ran away in fear, she was planning to kill him!!! Vo yahan se jaane ke baad itne time therapy me they. He was sick!! Really sick!
Manjiri: Tujhe itna sb kaise-
Arohi: (jumping in seeing the opportunity) kyunki bhai Akshu ke sath hi toh they...Mauritius me!
Abhimanyu looked at Akshara in disbelief. What he saw so far and what Arohi sat kept clashing but when Akshara did not deny this claim, his heart felt like breaking into pieces.
Abhimanyu: Y- you left me, got tortured by Kunal...all for your brother? To hide him!!?
Manjiri: Abhi....(sobs)
Shefali: how could you Akshara!?
Akshara: nahi, you are assuming...
Abhimanyu: accha toh sach tum hi bata do!!! Bolo na...
Akshara: I- I had to leave...
Swarna: Ye toh bolegi nahi, mai batati hoon...
Akshara: Badimaa!
Swarna: she left for you Abhimanyu. Dr. Kunal ne tumhare operation krne ki yahi shart rakhi thi aur uske pass koi option nahi tha...
Abhimanyu's feet staggered. Neil rushed in to catch him in case he fell but he controlled. Tears were pouring out of his eyes.
Abhimanyu: (claps) wow!!!!...wow Akshara!!! Kya kaam kiya hai. Maar bhi dala aur ilzam bhi nahi lagne diya...
Akshara: (softly) Abhi....
Abhimanyu: door!! pass mat ana....( runs his hands through his hair) tumhare bina har din mara hoon mai...roz ek nayi maut! Aur kyu??? Mere is hath ke liye? Tumne mahan banne ke liye humare pyaar ko kurban kr diya..
Akshara felt her heart break. Did he really think so?
Akshara: tumhe lgta hai mai mahan banne ke liye-
Abhimanyu: Haan!!! Yahi lgta hai mujhe! Aur sahi lagta hai...tumhara bhai meri behen ki life kharab kr gaya aur tumne meri life barbad kr di....
Akshara: seriously! Abhi please...
Abhimanyu: please mai bolta hoon...please, ab baksh do mujhe! Tumhare is mahan banne ke chakkr me mai already bohot piss chukka hoon..(pauses and controls his tears)..mera toh jo hona tha ho gaya pr meri behen ko insaaf milega.....
Akshara: Insaaf kon deserve krta hai ye toh time hi batayega Dr. Abhimanyu Birla!
They glare at each other before turning away. Akshara steps out of the house in agitation, her family running behind her. She breaks down on the steps.
Vansh: Akshu?! Akshu sambhal khud ko...
Akshara: (wipes her tears) Haan bhai....filhal Kairav bhaiya aur badepapa ko humari zarurat hai. I- I cannot fall weak. We will fight. Together!
Vansh held Akshara's hand and Swarna, Akhilesh kept their hands on theirs. They looked at Arohi who swallowed her guilt yet again and shamelessly put her hands on theirs as well.
Abhimanyu and Akshara both resolved to serve justice, ignoring the pain that kept weighing their own hearts.

Why should Akshara chose Abhinav instead of Abhimanyu?
:- Abhinav doesn't have a mother like Manjulika whose full time job is to manipulate her son. He also doesn't have Akshara's childhood abuser Arohi living under the roof along with toxic Birlas. His resources are less but peace is full!

PPS: Cannot digest Arohi as full buddies with Abhimanyu. This is the same girl who filed a false DV against him and blackmailed him. Seriously? Arohi ke liye konsa whitewash khareda hai makers ne, thoda sa Akshu pr bhi daal dete. Were the goons who killed Neil punished or were Birlas satisfied after throwing the daughter-in-law out?
