Kushi slept at her father's room itself while Indraneel took guest room. He tried talking with her and caressed her hair and whispered sweet nothing's to her, but nothing worked. Seems like she didn't even listened what he spoke. He made her drink milk and went to guest room putting her to sleep.
Morning when Indraneel went to his room, he saw that Kushi is still sleeping. He asked both Arnav and Kushi to go to office and said that he would be with Kushi.
They both went office half hearted. He sat on his room watching his precious daughter sleeping. Her face has swollen a bit much to his displeasure. What has happened? He has never seen her upset to this extent.
One hour passed -
Kushi woke up and sat on the bed. Her eyes was swollen so much that she couldn't even open it. Her head ached like hell. Remembering the reason of her situation her head ached more if possible. Fresh tears formed in her eyes as the previous day incident flashed before her eyes.
Indraneel - Kushi....
Kushi wiped her tears and looked at him - Haan papa.
He sat beside her - What happened beta ?
Kushi gave a small smile - Nothing papa.
Indraneel sighed - Ok. Go and get fresh up. I will bring your breakfast to your room itself.
Kushi nodded and went to her room and stood under the shower. As soon as the water touched her skin she felt somewhat relaxed.
Changing her dress she went out and in few minutes Indraneel bought her and his breakfast to her room. He smiled to her and getting the towel in his hands he started wiping her hairs.
Indraneel - Even now you are not going to open your mouth. Are you ?
Kushi gave a sad smile.
Indraneel - Tell me one thing. Am I not a good father to you ? Do you feel that it would've been better if you had your mom beside you ?
Kushi gave a small smile - Don't try to trick me Papa. Iam ok now.
Indraneel - Kushi you are upset to till extent and expect me to keep quiet like always ? I have never seen you in this state. Tell me what has happened ? Anyone said anything to you ?
Kushi - Nobody said nothing.
Indraneel - Is it something related to your designing project ?
Kushi held his hands - No papa. Stop worrying. You are the bestest father anyone could get. I will tell you if I couldn't get out of it. I promise.
Indraneel - Do you know how much worried I stay at the times when you are upset like this ? You are not saying anything and increasing my Blood pressure. I won't able to sit calm untill you are good.
Kushi sighed - Papa please..... Iam alright.
Indraneel - Fine Iam not asking you anything. Like always...... Keep pressuring me worried for you.
Kushi looked down and started having breakfast not saying anything. What will she say ? That she loved Arnav and now even before her love starts it ended...... How will she go and tell all this ? She sighed.
Kushi - I promise I will be alright. Give me some time Papa. Please.....
Indraneel wiped his tears - One day when I will land in some problem and I will do the same to you. Only then you will understand how does it feels when you see your loved ones like this.
Kushi smiled and continued with her breakfast.
Indraneel - Get ready. We will go to office.
Kushi got stunned and stopped whatever she was doing. If she goes to office then she have to face Arnav and Arohi. And seeing them smiling to themselves will she be ok ? Can she see them smiling ?
Kushi - I will come tomorrow Papa. Today I want to rest.
Indraneel - Ok. That would be good also. You rest today and then we will see.
Kushi - Ok papa.
On the other side both Arnav and Arohi's mood was down thinking about Kushi.
They both were sitting in the canteen to have their lunch.
Arnav - What happened to her Arohi ?
Arohi sighed - I told you na..... She never shares anything with others. She will stay quiet and aloof till she gets better. I just wish she open up herself with anybody.
Arnav - This is not good for all. Did you see how much uncle is worried ?
Arohi - I know, but what can we do ? She is like this.
Arnav sighed, he really didn't like the Father Daughter duo upset like this. He wanted to do something for them. But he is helpless......
Kushi on other hand laid wished to go to Mandir. Indraneel thought it would be better if she goes out and spent sometime. But Kushi insisted on going alone and Indraneel had to bow infront of his stubborn Daughter.
Kushi stood infront of the Mandir and joint her hands infront of the idol.
Kushi - Why such thing happened in my life ? I have never loved anybody in my life. Arnav ji is the first one..... Why you snatched him from me ? And that too through Arohi ? Why didn't he love me ? And why Arohi ? Why maa ? Why have you punished me like this ? What sin I have committed ? Why did you brought him in my life ?
She cried looking at the Idol. The heart break of the first love seems very hard to go through. And the fact that he loves her close friend didn't settle with her at all.
She sat there itself looking at nothing in particular thinking about both of them. Their laughing faces flashed before her eyes. How much they both looked happy in each other's presence ? A small smile appeared on her face too. Arnav's smile made her smile also.
Kushi - Iam not selfish. If he is happy with Arohi then I should let him go. Love can't be forced. I can't force him to love me. I have to accept the fact that now Arnav ji loves Arohi. I shouldn't be sad instead should be happy for my best friends.
Tears poured out of her eyes conversing within herself. Even though one side of her heart said that to let it go, the other side broke brutally. Till yesterday she never knew that she had loved Arnav this deeply. She never knew that she has made him her world. She never knew that she has given him the rights to broke her like this. But alas......
After few minutes she stood up and started walking to her home feeling a bit better.
Reaching home she saw that Arnav and Arohi was at home sitting on the lawn with her father. She thought she will let that go but it's not as easy as she thought it would be.
The trio smiled seeing her and she walked to them and gave Prashad to her father.
Arohi - Kushi....
Kushi turned to her and gave her small smile - Haan....
Arohi - This is for you....
She extended a chocolate bouquet to her. Kushi got that in her hands.
Arohi - This is for completing your first project successfully.
Kushi - Thanks.
Arnav - That was my idea actually.
Arohi rolled her eyes smiling - Arnav ji.... You or me.... What difference it makes ? Both are same only.
Kushi gave a sad smile hearing them and seeing them smiling to eachother.
Kushi - Thank you. I'll keep this inside and will rest.
Indraneel - Ok beta.
Kushi went away making the trio sigh. Once inside her room kushi closed the door as tears ran down her cheek continuously. She shook her head and wiped her tears.
Kushi - This is the last time you are crying on this reason Kushi. You are not going to cry on this reason again. What is the use of crying over something that was not yours ? You are unnecessarily making everyone worried.
She went and washed her face and sat on the balcony making herself determined. After few minutes Arohi came inside their room.
Arohi - Kushi....
Kushi - Hmm.....
Arohi - Shall we go to movie ?
Kushi thought for a minute - Tomorrow we will go.
Arohi smiled - Ok.
Kushi also smiled to her and took out her chart and started doing designs.
As decided Kushi remained strong and behaved normally with others hiding her pain. She joined with Arnav and Arohi's team and continued her work.
Though the matter pricked Indraneel he decided to wait as he knew time heals everything.
Even though she remained as if she is not affected, seeing Arohi and Arnav signalling something to eachother thinking that she is not aware ,hurted her.
It was one fine Night -
Arohi was grinning like nothing. Kushi frowned seeing her.
Kushi - Arohi...
Arohi - Haan....
Kushi - What happened you are grinning like this ?
Arohi looked at her and gave a nervous smile - Nothing. Nothing Kushi.
Kushi sighed - Fine. Shall we go down ? Iam feeling very hungry.
Arohi - Ok. Come let's go.
They both had dinner with Arnav and Indraneel and retired to their room.
Arohi was sleeping while Arjun called Kushi.
Kushi smiled - Hi Arjun....
Arjun - Hi Kushi. How are you ?
Kushi - Iam good. You are so busy now a days it seems.
Arjun - Quiet busy with business Kushi.
Kushi - Ok.
Arjun - Actually kushi. Iam trying to call Arohi. I opened my Linkin account on her number only. I need to open it but it's not getting login.
Kushi - Oh.... She is sleeping.
Arjun - Can you please check her mobile and tell me the OTP ? It must be in her phone.
Kushi - Wait....
She opened her phone to look for the password.
Kushi - Yeah Arjun note it down.....
Arjun - Yeah tell me.
Kushi said the OTP and waited till he log in. After he logged in he cut the call speaking with her sometime.
Kushi was about to keep if down when Arnav's continuous messages started getting notified. Without thinking she clicked open it only to regret. Arnav has sent numerous love quotes to Arohi. Tears formed in her eyes. Taking a deep breath she kept her phone back in the place and laid on her side. Closing her eyes she fell into thoughts. She has decided how to divert her mind and that would be helpful for her also.
